My dream was that it was discovered that in SA2, there was a second ending cutscene that nobody had ever seen before
It was discovered by a speedrunner that if you were fast enough throughout the level (or it may have been the entire game, not sure), and pressed "B" at the precise right time, during the moment after Sonic and Shadow yell "Chaos Control!" but before Shadow started falling, you would get a new ending where Sonic grabs Shadow's arm and manages to save him from falling to Earth, pulling him back to safety, and then when they got back with everyone, everyone rushed towards the both of them and hugged them
Rouge still asked if Gerald created him to carry out his revenge, but Shadow stayed quiet and refused to answer.
In the last moments, instead of "Sayonara, Shadow the Hedgehog", it was replaced with Sonic waving and a "C'mon Shadow! Let's go home!"
And instead of the picture of Shadow on the moon, it was a picture of Sonic with his arm around Shadow
I have absolutely NO idea why my brain created this alternate happier SA2 ending for my dream, but there you go!
Honest to god there is something almost sacred about the way Satoru and Suguru has been respecting each other even after the fall out
Suguru knowing he was Satoru’s biggest weakness so he avoids big confrontations and doesn’t face him firectly because he doesnt want to do that to them
Satoru knowing that he could any time go and kill Suguru, saving countless lives, but not being able to do it until there was nothing to hide behind
Like i feel so emotional over the fact that they never used their connection against each other. Like fucking hell
Hello Internet Stranger looking up G Gundam on Tumblr dot com!
This is an idea for a fic set in an Alternate Universe involving Queer Non-Canon Relationships between the characters of the series.

Ended up outlining a completely different fic as a Segway for an explanation instead of making progress on the Royal Flush Haunted Honk AU's Clown Motel Fic like I wanted to but uh....
For y'all's review for the AU: A Prequel Outline - Divorce Saga Domon
--------------------------------------
Hey real quick - I'm thinking of maybe changing the timeline to 2 years post canon as opposed to 3 years and change post canon.
The reason being: I had a thought that this scene could either be part if the fic or if it's getting to big then it could be a stand alone tie-in prequel fic as part of this AU but - like
Immediately Post Divorce Domon Needs Space and runs off. As one does. And he runs to Earth because he just wants to Get Lost for a while.
He has Argo smuggle him out to avoid detection.
Argo has Andrew help stow Domon in a storage hanger of a Neo Canadian supply ship that's returning to the US - they have trade often enough and share agricultural resources - which leads to Domon ending up in New York when he hits Earthside pavement.
He's privately worked on his English the last couple of months and after being dropped in New York with a different hairstyle, outfit, and accent he's unrecognizable.
He considers making his way west to get some solitude in the wilderness, but something about that initial plan feels off now that he's on the ground.
Chibodee is also Earthside for a special series of prize fights aimed at raising charitable appeal for the US in the eyes of Neo Americans.
Domon decides to hit up Chibodee for a fight on a day between matches hoping it'll clear his head and give him the clarity to decide on a course of action. What ends up happening is an unexpected heart to heart via blows and a breakdown.
Domon is happy for Rain and Kyoji, and he knows it's not true; but he feels like he lost a piece of himself when his relationship with Rain fell apart.
Domon's instinct is to run after that but Chibodee knows this city and Domon doesn't hide out for long before Chibodee drags him back to his place to stay and just "Chill out and breathe. You don't have to be anyone but yourself here. You can take as long as you need to find out what everything changing means for you." Friends and teammates stick together.
So Domon spends a few weeks with Chibodee sparring and hanging out in New York. Chibodee does a frankly awesome job at containing his feelings because he's focusing on Domons feelings and being a good friend first and foremost. Whatever he's feeling can wait until after Domon is done going though it.
There's a bit of a twinge in Domon's heart as he leaves that he can't really place.
After he returns to Neo Japan and gets settled back into life with his family, The Dreams start.
They're mainly set in New York. Small things first like noticing Chibodee's smile and his eyes. Then sparring sessions that begin to turn lurid.
He thought these kinds of dreams would stop after he was married.... he doesn't know what to do about this.
I just figure it gives more clarity and sense of time for the journey from Comphet Marriage Dissolution to Feelings to Confession. Idk.
But I got stuck on a bit and then had this thought and needed to get it down before I lost it and it was so long it made sense to make it its own post as opposed to several replies.
The Maize and Clown Motel will probably still be 3 years and change post canon for clarification.
as a fellow orv fan i think you have good taste. what is this damn reincarnation you speak of............
damn reincarnation—officially titled "my blasted reincarnated life" but who the fuck is gonna take that seriously. not me!—is a manhwa about hamel, one of the heroes who saved the world from the demon kings, but who tragically died just before the party could kill all of them. in hamel's final moments, vermouth—the strongest of the heroes—promises to kill the rest of the demon kings no matter what. hamel then reincarnates as the descendant of vermouth to find the world at peace as they'd all hoped...except the final few demon kings are still around. despite their promise, vermouth struck a deal with them instead of finishing them off.
just why did this happen? did vermouth betray him, or were there other reasons? are the demon kings really to be trusted? why did he reincarnate as vermouth's descendant? what happened to his former companions? what did they have to say about all this? are any of them still alive? who can he trust? just what is he meant to do?
this is what damn reincarnation is about. basically, i like it because of two reasons. one, the writing is well done. it's paced well, with plenty of room for characters to grow, for events to be set up and revealed, etc. low low bar but it solidly clears it which is more than i can say for plent of other similar series. and two...oh my god fucking finally a reincarnation series where the reincarnation bit is vitally relevant for the entire rest of the plot, not just a Get Strong Quick scheme that's never actually plot relevant aside from maybe an identity crisis angst chapter. like. it is a Get Strong Quick scheme too dgmw, I'm not saying damn reincarnation is a masterpiece or reinventing the wheel or anything, but it's just really engaging and fun to read.
The amount of pain and agony and suffering and struggles that this side-view head of Cain subjected me to is so insane I began contemplating my life choices up to this point in time but finally... FINALLY I'M DONE WITH HIM GOODNESS GRACIOUS THAT WAS PAINFUL!
Yep. You guessed it. Crosshair appeared in an episode and I am a sobbing mess.
Before we get to the soul destroying trauma of crosshairs beautifully executed character arc, the rest of the episode!
Echo is practically a patron saint of imprisoned clones at this point. Did not stop cheering him on every second he was around. And he rescued Howzer! (Why do I feel like this a consolation prize?). What I love so much watching this sequence for the second time-I went straight back to the beginning again-is how obvious it is that they’ve done this before. The clones all act like this is their average Tuesday and the imperials are almost helpless. I think it’s been made clear over and over again that the empire underestimate the clones consistently-and I’m not looking forward to them inevitably realising their mistake.
I then spend several minutes dying laughing when Tech gets to experience his own driving. I don’t think he’s ever been more visibly or audibly terrified before. They are all big brothers and it’s fantastic. Hunters conundrum is getting interesting though-I’m starting to think his decisions are going to be in focus next. Everyone else has had their development and made their choices so far, but I think just as he’s tentatively come to terms with Pabu and peace, he’s going to get dragged back into trouble trying to protect his squad.
And Crosshair. Oh Cross. This entire episode confirms so much to me about who he actually is as a character. The “Drs” are either very clever and deliberately manipulated him into sending a distress signal, somewhat unlikely since they shut it off, or incredibly stupid. Revealing that they want Omega, who is honestly going back to the empire over the bad batch’s dead bodies, was a fatal mistake. He knows threatening omegas safety is ultimately a threat to kill his brothers. He will do anything to stop that from happening. Everything it cost him just to warn them-and I’m honestly not sure we’ve ever seen him miss before He wasn’t fighting because he could-he had to. In that situation there was nothing else he was capable of doing, other than risking everything to save them. And if he says ‘wrong’ again I’m going to start crying as a Pavlovian response.
I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again, someone please wrap him in a blanket and give him back to his brothers. I cannot wait for the finale episodes next week. Really hoping this isn’t a season 2 of rebels situation. I need them all to be back together again. Safe somewhere. Please.
