im not seeing the askers showing any love for my girl brightney!! could we get some info on her backstory? was she always just cold as hell or was she somewhat like her in game counterpart in the past?

Brightney was born into a prestigious family alongside her 11 siblings. They are like, rich, very rich.

She was the brightney you knew, she liked reading, she wanted to be a teacher when she grew up. Smart, but humble.

Until she learnt of where her family’s wealth came from.

Everything. Legal or illegal, built on a web of connection so strong they can slap the president and get away with it scot free. Such power and coldness, breeds competitiveness in the family.

Her siblings tries to assassinate eachother all the time, rigging their cars, planting bombs, poisoning, whatever it is.

Brightney, who doesn’t want anymore bloodshed, made a deal with her youngest sibling, promising them that she would kill everyone, then herself, the youngest would then inherit the empire, guilt free and able to do whatever they want. Both of them agreed.

But their psyche shattered right before she handed them the throne. Right after she killed everyone but herself and them.

And when her father died, she inherited his empire.

She tried using the power for good, but her connections and the intricacies within the criminal underworld made her realise its impossible to make any major changes without losing the power and empire she needed to change the world.

Eventually, swallowed by guilt, emptiness, helplessness, she folded and became the cold calculating business woman she is.

But yeah thats it.
