Socio-Cultural anthropologists rely heavily on observation. There are two types: Participant observation, in which the anthropologist studies a subject by participating in their activities/culture alongside them. And Non-participant observation (aka observing respectfully) with minimal or no direct interaction with the subject.

When most people (including the writers of danganronpa lol) think of cultural anthropology, they tend to focus on physical/material culture and archaeology, which isn’t inaccurate, but doesn’t exactly cover the breadth of the field.

Kazuichi Souda being the world’s most girlfailure transfem is something I love soooo much lately. This thang will not crack her egg until 1 am on a Thursday when she’s 27 after saying shit like “man I wish I was a girl” and not elaborating for years and then go to Hajime about it (waking him up in the process) only for him to be like “wait you’re just now realizing this”

The first half is ver batim to the in game dialogue

The second half is kind of off the cuff because I originally thought Akane said this line, but it was Ibuki

Originally I was gonna have Akane be like wtf is love?? And that's why she was asking Kazuichi if he felt the same way about Sonia. But I think there's something poetic about Ibuki, who consider lovers as a temporary physical thing (her Island Mode Ending), asking Kaz about love.

The ending is kinda Ibuki reevaluating what Fuyuhiko and Peko's relationship was, and touch how Kaz wants to get close to people but it's very hard for him to lose relationships.

Daily Danganronpa Fun Fact #343

In V3, the prologue starts the foundation of the cell tower. Chapter 1 adds a piano and the cell tower is continued. Chapter 2 adds a branch with handcuffs, tires and fish. Chapter 3 adds another branch with a katana and it’s sheath, a hanging Monokuma, and a dog statue. The cell tower also becomes higher. Chapter 4 adds a Ferris wheel. Chapter 5 adds a rocket ship and the cell tower is finished off. Each chapter also has a different arrangement of branches and barbed wires to the far left and far right.
