Gotham City Sirens returns this August from DC, but this time it has a Wild Wild Twist!

In the new story, Harley, Ivy, and Catwoman are going on a Western themed adventure out by Gotham’s county line, facing off against the likes of Punchline, and a quartet of mysterious new villains called the Nasty Boys, a “cowboy-henchmen sensation soon to be sweeping the nation,” according to DC’s news release. Or, as Williams puts it, “ominously horny half-naked cowboys with automatic assault weapons.”

Okay so am I the only one who preferred all the theories about Bendy And The Ink Machine rather than what we got in the end?

Like the theories about Bendy being an actual demon Joey summoned or Joey himself being The Ink Demon is far more interesting than "Oh yeah it's basically a never ending loop and none of it is actually real it's either within in The Ink Machine or Joey retelling the story over and over and over again" like that's fucking boring that's entirely boring

I also think it's stupid to never have Henry become good Bendy because it would've worked so well with Joey being The Ink Demon it would be good Bendy aka Henry Stein the true creator of Bendy vs. The Ink Demon aka Joey Drew the one that cared about nothing but lining his pockets

Also lemme say that I also think it's stupid that the Boris we meet at the end of chapter 2 and get to know in chapter 3 and then have to fight in chapter 4 is basically some nobody who was introduced in some stupid spin-off book I think it would've been so much more impactful if that Boris was Wally Franks and it would be a good parallel to Thomas Connor as the Boris who's with Allison

"Gotham City Sirens" Returns for One Month Event

In August 2024, DC Comics is putting Catwoman, Harley Quinn, and Poison Ivy's ongoing series on hold for a new four-issue Gotham City Sirens comic book miniseries. After the four Gotham City Sirens issues, Catwoman, Harley Quinn, and Poison Ivy will resume with ongoing numbering.

Gotham City Sirens hails from writer Leah Williams, artists Matteo Lolli (issues #1 and #3), Daniel Hillyard (issues #2 and #4) and Brandt & Stein (issue #4), colorist Triona Farrell and letterer Hassan Otsmane-Elhaou.

Catwoman, Poison Ivy, and Harley Quinn will have to team up and save the day when a "violent and highly illegal energy drink-sponsored hunting operation" threatens Gotham City's wildlife and human lives. White Rabbit and Punchline will also make appearances in the series. Also of note, this series will introduce the Nasty Boys, a group of cowboy-henchmen. Yahoo!

Gotham City Sirens #1 (of 4) goes on sale on August 7, 2024. Subsequent issues will release weekly.

Gotham City Sirens features main covers by Terry Dodson, connecting variant covers by Giullem March (also available as open-to-order foil variants), variant covers by Jeehyung Lee and W.
