The only thing I will say negative about Plagued Moth is that he lied about having never seen CSAM. Hes around my age, and left-leaning, so if he was in any Bernie Sanders facebook group (especially the largest "Dank Meme Stash" one) he would have been there when Hillary sent the hackers in to spam CSAM/Gore/Animal abuse. If you were at all Bernie-leaning during the primaries, chances are you were in at least one group that put horrible shit on your feed. I remember waking up one morning and half my feed was spammed CSAM from those groups, the point of the attack was to make those groups unusable and it worked. Hes also around my age and said he went on 4chan regularly as a teenager. Back in the late 00s you could not refresh the front page of /b/ more than 5x without seeing CSAM (and thats not even counting the lolicon or sexualized discussions about underage female celebrities). He grew up on the "wild west" internet where you didn't have to go looking for that kind of shit, it popped up uninvited on websites you used every day (i remember having to report somebody randomly sending it to me on gaiaonline when i was like 14, and another incident where i downloaded a song from limewire and attached to the file were CSAM images. I was a child at the time so I got my mom and we reported it together). its weird to deny that you ever saw CSAM during that time on those websites, especially if you are somebody with an interest in dark media/true crime I don't believe that you can be chronically online enough to make a living reviewing gore videos without having unwillingly been exposed to CSAM. ESPECIALLY since he watched Amber Alert and Suffer Little Children, which pretty much up until he reviewed them were obscure trade-only mixtapes. Like to say you've never come across it just makes it sound like you are sus and have something to hide.

Idk if anyone relevant will see this but

please if you can don't reblog the post about theorypleeb (the one I added on to). I deleted the original one. They have found the post by now and some of the call-outs by other people are being pinned on me, probably bc of it.

I really just want to move on. having been free of the gaslighting for over a year now I've been able to do a lot of self-examination and healing, and realize many of the ways I contributed to the fallout of the TIRC "community," as well as my own part in some of the racist/exclusionary behavior that happened there.

That isn't to shift blame but simply acknowledge the facts. If there were ever a chance for a call in or reconciliation I would consider it but don't think that is likely.

Many of the things Dave/Lisa did were abusive and not okay in any way, even predatory. But I have come to the conclusion that it is no longer helpful for my healing to have this call out continue.

Of course if theorypleeb impacted you, do whatever you need to do. They may or may not have learned anything from this, they may still be perpetuating toxic shit, there's no way for me to know and I am putting up a boundary around knowing or seeking any resolution for the time being. Sometimes there isn't closure and I have accepted that 🙏

this callout is kind of swinging around to impact my own reputation again. which may be inevitable but is just...not what anyone wanted.
