Roommate AU [Salim x Rachel] // NSFW talk

In which Salim rents out a room in his apartment and Rachel becomes his new, official flatmate.

These are super indulgent doodles of mine featuring an extreme rare pair bc I need the set-up of Salim getting dominated by Rachel

Mad ramblings below to maybe convince you to jump on board this ship [hear me out]:

Rachel being able to speak Arabic would make Salim very excited to befriend her as he finally gets the chance to speak in his native tongue (something he doesn't get to do often on American soil).

Salim has an easy time reading people, so he wouldn't get too offended by Rachel's often "cold" expression and replies which have earned her the title of "Queen Bitch".

Salim likes to talk and Rachel likes to listen, at first it was a bit overwhelming but over time she starts to find his voice relaxing.

Rachel goes to the gym on a regular basis and Salim has a thing for well-defined muscles.

Super interested in how you plan to write Leopardfoot! I feel like both fanon and canon tend to make her into a sweet mom(tm) who’s super sad that Tigerstar is evil, very similar to how Goldenflower is usually treated. What’s her thoughts on Pinestar and him leaving? How did she influence Tigerstar? What are her political beliefs?

BB!Leopardfoot was FEROCIOUS. Her father was the indominable Adderfang, and he taught her about the importance of honor and glory. When Tigerpaw was given to Thistleclaw as an apprentice, she was proud of it. It felt perfect to her-- that her father's apprentice was now her son's mentor.

For his brief rule, she supported Sunstar completely. It helped that he came after the disastrous and embarassing exit of Pinestar, which ruined the legacy that she wanted him to give her son. Pinestar was a damn coward and a codebreaker... and she assured Tigerkit that he was more HER son than his.

She even gives him a life, for Legacy, in defiance of StarClan

She was friends with Bluemoon for a time, but after ascending to StarClan, she learned about the Forget-me-nots.

This changed her opinion of her. Leopardfoot supports Thistle Law, STRONGLY so.

She supported THISTLECLAW when he tried to forcefully void the Queen’s Rights. If Bluemoon hadn't broken the code, then what did she have to hide?

She backed off when Thrushpelt leapt to her defense though, "She didn't reveal it because she doesn't love me are you happy now??"

Leopardfoot: *awkwardly turns away feeling like an asshole now, tea SPILLED, her friend's dirty laundry EXPOSED, thought she was crusading for the law but she just dug up drama*

Towards the end of Pinestar’s reign, he was getting exhausted. He wanted peace. Leopardfoot wanted kittens around that time, and figured that there was no better cat than the son of Oakstar, architect of the infamous Crusade Era.

If Pinestar had no children, a glorious bloodline would have died out. She wanted it for her kits. Pinestar agreed on the condition that he would be their Mi, which she happily accepted.

So when Pinestar left, she jumped into the nursery to take over and had to explain to her kits where their Mi went.

She drove it home to them that he abandoned everything, because his weakness took over. They would never be like him, she promised.

Mistkit died very young. Nightpaw made it to apprenticeship before she also succumbed. Tigerclaw remembers very well how hard it was to lose his sisters.

Leopardfoot herself was taken shortly before TPB, in Spottedleaf's Plague. Her death causes Tigerclaw to have a bit of a moment.

After the trial in Bluestar's Flowers, Leopardfoot leaves StarClan along with a bunch of other Thistle Law supporters, including Thistleclaw himself. She joins the BOTTE at the end of OotS, fighting to the end with her son.

She misses him a lot, and remains in the Dark Forest to the current arc. She chose her path; and has the dignity to walk it.

She does miss StarClan sometimes though, and will tell you stories about it if you ask.

In terms of demon friends, she's somewhere in the clique between the harsher and softer spirits.

She dislikes Morningstar, Cloudberry, and Ryewhisker on the softer end, and has come to resent Thistleclaw and Finchflight on the other, but likes Darkstripe, Leopardstar, and Silverhawk.

Gets along with a range of "mid" level demons.

In particular I imagine she hangs out with Darkstripe a lot. Taste test buddy, he asks her to try his experimental recipes because she's honest but not mean. One of the few Thistle Law supporting cats he hangs out with after the double-death of Tigerstar.

He calls her Lefty. Her official nickname is "Left" but he calls her Lefty.

(Clanmew: her name is Saorpwyyar. Others call her Saopr. He calls her Sapyy.)

Her mom and dad Swiftbreeze and Adderfang are here too, following Thistleclaw like she did, but she's been minimizing her contact with her dad. She feels like she is owed an apology somehow but also doesn't have the emotional intelligence to know that it's what she wants.

She just knows that she feels really bitter talking to him, and that's unpleasant.

She used to be VITRIOLIC with Pinestar, who is also here, even going after him physically when he chose to join in with the Dark Forest trainees. But now... honestly so much shit has happened, she just doesn't like seeing him. She wishes he wasn't here.

I write her being very dignified. She doesn't like to admit publically she was ever wrong and speaks with confidence, quietly backing off and not wanting to speak about her mistakes. She loves her children and her family, but explores the world in a very "self-centric" way, trusting her feelings and personal judgement over anything logical.

A reactionary sort of person, if that makes sense.

Her Land Mar has to develop over time because she is an ex-StarClan migrant (damned souls get theirs instantly after judgement), but it's called the Fence Cliff. It's a picket fence that blocks off a sheer drop, making a sharp turn down the cliff face and acting as a walkway. Follow the fence down the slope, and you can access the Dark Forest's town biome.

“So they won.” Liam ridicules, taking in the view of Theo’s truck and the sleep deprived chimera, but making sure to scornfully call out what he already knows.

“It wasn’t a fair fight.” Theo struggles to get his viewpoint across and rip the proud look off the wolf’s face.

“You said that. Is this the point where I’m supposed to be impressed?” Liam laughs, taunting him with a smile.

“Fuck off.” He growls, the disappointment of having to admit his mistakes creeping up on him. It’s always there. Always at the back of his mind and throwing it in his face doesn’t make it any easier to swallow.

“I like you Teddy. You have a lot of potential. I might even keep you.” Liam’s fangs roll over his tongue, the hateful gaze in his eyes torturing Theo until he’s ready to snap.

“Get out of my truck.” Theo hisses, eyes laced golden.

“Only because you asked nicely.” Liam growls, with a sinister look.

A small shudder falls over Theo, haunting every thought in his head.

The wolf licks his bloodied lip and smiles.

I've basically tried to come up with lore and stuff. If you can't read what's on the images, don't worry, I'll expand more on my thoughts here:

White Lily Cookie

Before I talk about her, here's some random changeling lore I made up. Woodland changelings are the ones who feed on the love of other creatures by draining it from them. Basically the more hostile, fae-esque creatures. Prismatic changelings are those who don't drain love from others, but instead feed on love through mutual sharing with one another. My goal with them is to make them sorta like faeries. Yanno, the baby snatcher ones vs the nice disney-esque ones. They can transform into either one if say, they're able to form a strong bond with someone else or if they lack a strong connection and have no one to share love with.

Btw, this isn't related to mlp canon, it's just something I made up.

So anyway, White Lily was a young woodland changeling who, while she didn't (often) drain love from other people, she was still pretty lonely and ostrisized by her peers (probably due to her lily scent). She transforms into a prismatic changeling after making a strong bond with Pure Vanilla, who declared how he'll always care for her, changeling (either form) or not.

Ngl, I'm not that happy with her woodland form, mainly because it just feels less changeling-like. I based her off Queen Chrysalis, but still, the only reason I have for this, is that, she's like a queen bee. She's just born that way. She just never took the throne like the rest of her friends.

In her younger years, White Lily often transformed into a pony disguise (even after meeting PV and leaving the academy) because she still felt like it was necessary. Girl was bullied in her tweens, leave her be. (Also, by now, she's become a prismatic changeling.) Eventually, she did drop her disguise, and was relieved to know the other 3 didn't hate her. Dark Cacao even commented about how he prefers her true form.

Her soul-jam form is basically her just becoming more queen bee like, (similar to how Queen Chrysalis was bigger and taller compared to the rest of the hive. She's the queen!)

Pure Vanilla Cookie

Not much to say other than he was a unicorn who became an alicorn as the years passed and he gained his soul jam.

I dunno if I wanted his magic to be blue or yellow. I think I prefer yellow, but his soul jam is blue, and I wanted it to sorta match. Hmm.

He also has terrible eyesight, and relies on his staff to see. However, the drawside to this is that what the staff sees, is what he sees. And boy, his staff can be a bit sassy sometimes, rolling its eye and glancing down at him to judge him at times. It was especially so in his younger years. But he's comfortable with or without the staff's sight. I should mention, he does get to decide if he wants to see what his staff sees or not.

Btw, if this take is seen as ablelist in any shape or way, please let me know, and I will correct it if it is. The whole 'staff sees for PV' is a popular headcanon which I just roll with, but if it makes people uncomfortable, I understand and will revise it.

Hollyberry Cookie

Not much to say other than she was an earth pony who gained wings, magic, and super strength.

Compared to the others, she rarely ever uses her magic/wings unless absolutely needed to. It just feels quite off for her, yanno? Though, she does take advantage of her enhanced strength, agility, and stamina.

Out of everyone, she took the longest to figure out how to fly, not because she was scared, but because it felt very off to control these brand new appendages that just appear on your back whenever you use the souljam's magic to the fullest.

Her design is the most straight-forward out of everyone tbh.

Dark Cacao Cookie

He's a kirin, which are basically dragon-like ponies, and I headcanon him to be part dragon, so it works out.

For his Nirik form, I drew inspiration for how berserk Cacao looked, all whispy and spirit-like.

I was debating on whether or not I wanted to give him wings, but in the end, I realized that it would make his design feel too cluttered. So instead, I drew inspiration from east asian dragons, and how they don't need wings to fly. Dark Cacao can summon clouds and gallop across the winds instead, which I think looks really cool.

Kirin's are depicted with this lion's mane, but I didn't feel like it would fit Cacao, mainly because he's got a lot going on at this point (the armor, for one) and idk, I just couldn't fit it, unless I redesign his entire wardrobe, which I don't want to do.

About the White Lily thing I mentioned earlier, I said how Cacao prefers seeing Lily as a changeling, rather than in a disguise, because (at the time) he thought he was the only non-pony creature on the team, and it was reassuring to him that he wasn't the odd one out. Golden Cheese was the last one to officially join the band.

Head of a pony, body of a lion, wings like a hawk's. Yep, she's a sphinx.

I know she looks more cat-like here, but idk, I just really liked it, so I stuck with it.

Out of everyone, she was the one who had the most trouble with magic, mainly because she's kinda the most scatterbrained. But once she got the hang of it, she really liked using it.

Can I just say, she's definitely the most elegant looking one out of the bunch, and I'm glad that I was able to translate it well. (Or at least, I think I was.)

Noel has a little sister. Her name is Holly. She’s twelve years old and extremely odd. She’s quiet and into darker topics like macabre and death. (think Wednesday Addams) The other kids are scared of her but she doesn’t care, cause she has Noel. Noel wasn’t scared of her, mainly because he was used to it by now. The other reason is because she never judges him for his interests either. She always proofread his poetry and would watch The Blue Angel with him whenever he offered. She didn’t care for his sexuality either and would threaten anyone that commented badly about it. They didn’t care what the town thought of them, because they had each other

Then Noel died. And everything changed

Holly became even more distant and her macabre art became more and more morbid. She was stuck caring for her mother whenever she was home, making sure she ate and bathed

Even after he died people continued to talk badly about Noel. She hated it. There were times where she’d get physically violent and send people to the hospital. People became even more afraid of her. She was even more alone than she ever was before

She just wanted her brother back. The one person who understood her. And he was gone

So here's the thing about Edgar.

The previous Pumpkin King of Halloween Town wanted it to be a dark and terrifying place, with less room for kindness, and claims that he was making great progress with this!!! Which means Edgar was close to converting his people to harsh ways. The only thing stopping him is the fact that he's FORCED to step down, because his reign as King has been going on for too long!

But Edgar doesn't *want* to give up his Crown. More importantly, he doesnt want to lose his control.

He plans to keep control over Halloween Town by manipulating the next King, and calling all the shots behind the scenes(while acknowledging that HE wouldn't be their ruler anymore, he makes Oogie promise to carry out all his demands anyway). He is singlehandedly fixing the competition because he has been easily influencing Boogie, and finds him the perfect execution to still influence his Town the way HE wants to.

Which means Halloween Town was originally going to be dark and terrifying, and not in the good way -- which also means Jack Skellington winning the contest spared all the Town from suffering from such a fate. From having a Leader that lies to them, controls them, refusing to change his rule -- from being under Oogie's unknowingly-terrifying reign, because he was impressionable and was going to indebt himself to Edgar.

Jack is kind, loyal, and wishes to remain friends with Oogie despite their difference in status. He always looks to people as his equal - despite Boogie having a different mindset when having the opportunity to be in power.

Jack being the Pumpkin King prevented Halloween Town from becoming something...worse.
