I feel like having a club and having a small job of selling 'candy' on the side is a given

especially if you are about your business is the best, both the fun side and the 'fun' side, if you get where I am going with this *wink**wink*

I imagine the club placed on mountains, or deep in the woods, somewhere private and far away from the city smoke and bustle

the club would have this VIP feel to it more as people would queue in front of the club that was surrounded by trees that would give off an 'if you make a wrong step you die' type of vibe

so word spreads fast, among jerk-off businessmen, wannabe gangsters, and the real gangsters and mafia, and they all flock to close it down

the dope trail trails around the city and attracts everyone, even your old friend Darko, ready to see the rave

you know that he was coming, you were told by your men but he was arriving with someone else

a rather mysterious man, with grey hair and a wicked smile that you knew you had to have between your legs

you saw your prey and not even the demons wanted to get between you and your target

with a big smile and a big liquor bottle, you welcome Darko and his 'friend'

as much as you wanted that man you never begged, you simply attracted the right opportune, and he was just starting to sow his seeds

the nights passed and you infiltrated back into Darko's social circle, mentioning here and there how great single life is

the clearly older, but nonetheless delicate man inched closer revealing his name

Nigel. with a smile he said, his rough hand extending to you to shake

you did love a respectful man

Nigel felt the tingle between himself and you and my god was is addicting as your drugs

days rotated and melted into ones and so did your talks, from phone calls morphing into 4 am coffee talks, giggles into laughs, handshakes into hugs

the dates were small as well from lunch to dinner by the edge of the city to unplanned city exploring for the best bars

everyone in the city felt the bubbling romance between the club owner and the dangerous gangster man

romance no one knew if would it be beneficial for the city or for the two in love

it was a dangerous playfield, and did you drive off the danger

the romance bubbled into a proper connection, and the city felt it

Nigel was an amazing lover, his kisses hit the right spot, his hands massaged all of the stress away and my god were you right about that smile

a smile that hid the most serpentine long tongue that gladly drank from your fountain

the city shook in looming danger knowing how the mysterious club owner Y/N dated the gangster and deeply connected Nigel knowing very well in fear that danger is coming, and man did you thrive off it

After he finishes signing the piece of paper, Chris steps back.

“Uh yeah, so I guess that’s it,” he says.

“Great,” Darko says shortly. 

“Great.” Bobby takes a swig from his flask.

Nigel sucks on his cigarette and stubs it out on the arm of the chair he’s sitting in.

“...Congrats?” Chris says.

“Second time’s the charm,” Bobby intones.

“This means I can leave, yes?” Darko says.

Later, Nigel crowds Bobby against the wall in the place they share. He leans and bites Bobby’s earlobe.

“Mine,” he says.

His lips trail across to Bobby’s, and they kiss.

“Mine,” he says into Bobby’s mouth.

He cups Bobby’s cock and rubs gently.

“Mine,” he says.

“Yes,” Bobby breathes almost inaudibly.

Finally, Nigel takes Bobby’s left hand and rubs it between his own. He lifts it to his mouth and kisses the new gold band there.

“Mine,” he says.

Got another little Christmas story for y’all today. Fitting for the last rec of 2023, eh?

Characterization is key here. Most of the time, in other stories, Nigel is written very rough around the edges. A ball of threatening energy. He’s much the same here, but a bit gentler. He usually gets thus around Adam, but it seems especially so in this one. And Adam, sweet Adam, is precious as always. They kind of speed run the whole relationship thing - no slow burn to be found here - but it still rings true for their characters. Is it entirely realistic that these guys would fall for each other so quickly? Maybe not, but from the places they’re both at? Emotionally? I could see it.

The way Christmas ties the plot together is great too. It’s the season of togetherness, and both of the guys are not exactly doing well on that front at the start. Adam’s a bit worse off than Nigel, who will always have Darko on his side, for better or worse (he’d probably say worse, lol). But then they find each other. And, cliché though it may seem, they also find a bit of themselves in the process. And then proceed to fuck nasty. ‘Tis the goddamn season.

 Questa è una Spacedogs che conta diversi capitoli, ma che era nata come breve one shot. Figurarsi.

Il tutto scaturisce in particolare da una delle scene tagliate di Adam, quella in cui lui prende a calci i bidoni dell’immondizia al ritorno dalla serata con gli amici di Beth, e dopo una discussione con lei.

Come al solito non posso lasciare Adam in compagnia di chi non lo comprende e così arriva in soccorso Nigel che, con la sua testa dura e la stessa scurrilità mia di quando gioco a Mortal Kombat, riesce ad arrivare dove  altri non arrivano.

È una storia piena di chiacchierate e fluffosità, nulla di più. Un posto sereno per Adam e Nigel che hanno sempre bisogno di serenità.
