#deadliest woman in the galaxy
Text
Okay I got one reply and that’s all the validation I need !! XD
Tumblr media
@the-antiapocalyptic-man thanks so much for your interest !! It means a lot
So here’s my redesign for Gamora !!! I love taking the classic designs, and reimagining them to be more practical or reflective of their personality, gamora is the deadliest woman in the galaxy and her gear should be practical, but she’s so good she does accessorise a little, she shows off and flaunt her title a little, I’ve based this design on her first two classic designs, I always interpreted her first design as this sorta Hercules esk task she’s gone out on and killed this space dragon to make scale armour light weight and strong, I see some people perceive it as mesh tights kinda design and I just don’t vibe with that, I’ve added in some areas where the scale armour should be bending just to add a little realism, I do also like her second swimsuit costume it’s utterly impractical and sexed up but what it does have going for it is some interesting shape language like the massive V shape down her torso I’ve tried to replicate with the trim ? moving on from the classics I do love a lot of her modern designs they get this sort of space punk warrior aesthetic across, it’s just none of it is particularly memorable or unique not like her original designs, but since the Gunn era she’s had these more punk elements thrown in which I love, ( I know the heels here are super impractical but I love in guardians 2 when she does these massive leaps that seem almost accentuated by the heels, like they’re bouncy) tried to mesh her modern blade with its classic cross guard too, give it this kinda space falchion/scimitar vibe, everything here is meant to balance the iconic classics with modern personality, practicality and to give her outfit its own backstory with that Hercules esk challenge thanos has set her to kill a impossible to kill monster, and she comes back rocking this look ? Black fur and shiny green diamond scales hell yeah !
I’ve got a redesign for every guardian planned out, Gamora is just the first, can’t decide between starlord or Adam next. I’ve got multiple Peter outfits planned for his various phases but one Adam look I’m super happy with. What would you prefer to see next ??

GOTG SPOILERS
After gotg 3 there is no DOUBT that Gamora bested all of her siblings and beat Nebula in combat every time. We have always been told she is deadly but have only seen glimpses of this and, have seen a more calmer side to Gamora. I’m glad the new film showed us how she was at the height of her reputation, I understand that part of her aggression is to do with her trauma and pain but on the other hand is good to see her take initiative and be an active instigator to only have Peter to be the mediator and calm the situation down when usually these roles are reversed in other action films.

Oh great one please give me a list of recs I love high coustume Chinese drama , currently obsessing over The Double , whilst waiting for all the episodes to drop I have binged The Scent of Time ,
I almost didn’t watch either because me and Wang Xingyue had a long standing beef after One and Only , I loved your PowerPoint post for The Double
you got it!! here's my favorites! these are all ones with either light or no fantasy. hmu if you want ones with fantasy elements!
MY GOLD TIER (TOP FAVORITES!)
a journey to love. a roadtrip to rescue a flop emperor full of the freakiest lil guys (affectionate): a spymaster who wants to retire, the deadliest woman in the world, a boyband of trained killers, and a scrappy princess disguised as a dude. LOVE this one. powerpoint!
monarch industry/the rebel princess. a spoiled, sheltered princess is married to a low-born general to help her father's would-be political machinations. fabulous production value, great character growth + relationship development, just a ton of fun palace intrigue! powerpoint!!
goodbye, my princess. only watch if you're in the mood for a Capital T Tragedy. a deconstruction of the runaway princess trope featuring genocide, enemy lovers, and one of the most beautiful productions ever
the sound of the desert. a woman raised by wolves (no really), a traditional love triangle in the best way, and a rare lead by the second male lead! love this one, even though production is a little dated at this point
MY SILVER TIER (REALLY LIKED THESE!)
story of kunning palace. i think this one's going to be a hit with you if you like the double because there's a lot of recurring themes and actors! the ML is way more of a mess though, but i kind of live for it. powerpoint!!
love like the galaxy. the first 5-6 eps might be a little off, but once it hits its stride it's so, so good. unfavored daughter tries to make her way in the world while dodging suitors left and right. an emperor who lives for drama and shipping. a male lead who's a lil unhinged
familiar stranger. if you loved the campy elements of the double, you'll probably really enjoy this one as well! FACE SWAP.
MY BRONZE TIER (THEY GOT SOME PROBLEMS, BUT I LOVE THEM)
twisted fate of love. it gives me the tropes i love: machiavellian murderbastard x a time traveling lady general who cant be killed. chef's kiss. clearly on the lower end of the production scale but i find it pretty underrated. powerpoint!
the wolf. if you're into hot mess express, this is it for you. powerpoint!

Once upon a time, deep within the dense jungles of an alien planet, lived a yautja warrior named Varok. He was hailed as one of the fiercest hunters of his clan, with his tall muscular frame and intricately designed armor. Varok possessed an insatiable desire for glory, seeking to conquer the deadliest creatures throughout the galaxy.
One day, while on a hunting expedition, Varok stumbled upon a small village of the native species known as the Yn. The Yn were a peaceful and intelligent race, with delicate features and luminous ethereal skin. Their enchanting beauty had captivated Varok, but he knew it was not his place to interfere with their tranquil existence. However, one particular Yn caught his attention like no other – a young Yn woman named Lyra.
Lyra possessed an adventurous spirit, constantly seeking to explore and learn about the mysterious world around her. Her mesmerizing eyes showcased a curiosity that awakened something within Varok. Unable to resist his growing attraction, Varok began to secretly observe Lyra as she ventured into the jungle, studying her every move with keen interest.
One fateful day, Lyra found herself in peril. Unbeknownst to her, she had stumbled upon one of the most dangerous predators on the planet. Sensing her vulnerability, Varok couldn't stand idly by. With unparalleled speed and precision, he interceded just in time to save her from being devoured.
Lyra's eyes widened in awe as she stared at the imposing figure of Varok, realizing that she had been saved by a yautja warrior. Though she was initially terrified, her fear was slowly replaced by gratitude as Varok's noble actions spoke louder than his intimidating appearance.
From that day forward, Varok and Lyra began spending more time together – each sharing their unique perspectives on their respective worlds. Through their interactions, they began to discover the similarities that bound them together. Despite their differences in physical appearance and cultural traditions, a deep connection formed between them, defying all odds.
As their bond grew stronger, Varok faced a dilemma. His yautja clan would never understand his affection for a Yn, let alone accept their union. The yautjas believed in the code of the hunt, and emotions were seen as weaknesses. Varok knew that choosing Lyra would mean facing excommunication from his tribe and their way of life.
However, Varok's love for Lyra outweighed any fear of consequence. He couldn't bear the thought of losing her. With his heart torn, he made the difficult decision to abandon his life as a hunter, his existence to be forever changed, for the sake of true love.
Together, Varok and Lyra embarked on a new journey, navigating through the expanse of the galaxy, discovering new worlds, and forging a path where none had walked before. Their love defied the boundaries of norm and showed an unconventional beauty that even the most ruthless hunters could admire and respect.
And so, the yautja warrior, Varok, and the Yn woman, Lyra, remained intertwined, bound by love and the strength to challenge societal limitations. Their story became the stuff of legends, inspiring not just their own species, but all beings across the universe, proving that love can thrive even in the darkest and most unexpected places.

My 10 most wanted characters for Marvel Rivals
Putting under a read more because it ended up being pretty lengthy.
Doctor Doom: Borderline non-negotiable. With his magic and technology allowing him to function as either a vanguard or strategist, Doom would be incredibly easy to fit into this game's style, both in terms of gameplay and design. There's no excuse not to have Marvel's best villain in Rivals.
Mystique: Every hero shooter needs its spy, and while Loki's illusions can trick the enemy, Mystique can pose as one of their own. With all these powerful heroes and villains running around, having a character built for subterfuge would add some diversity to team strategies.
Nova: Richard Rider deserves the world. The least they could do is give him a spot on this roster! The human rocket would be a fantastic addition! I'd see him as a similar vanguard to Peni Parker, moving fast to deny space and blast the enemy, all while tanking everything his opponents can hit him with.
Cyclops: X-Men '97 has really given Scott a big boost in popularity, and his optic blasts make him a great fit for a hero shooter. Letting him use them for propulsion could give him some really cool movement options too. He'd be a nice duelist, though his ability to inspire others and lead them to victory could make him a good strategist as well.
Thor: Worth it for the Storm combo attack alone. The prince of Asgard would be a great vanguard, especially if they tap into the Odinforce or Rune magic as inspiration for his abilities. It's hard to think of a better heavy-hitter than the Odinson himself.
Falcon: While there are already flying characters in the game, Sam's sheer speed and pal Redwing could easily make him stand out as the team's eye in the sky. He could function as a duelist or even a strategist depending on how they interpret and add onto his skillset.
Nightcrawler: Another X-Men icon, Kurt's teleportation, wall-crawling and acrobatic expertise would make him one of the most mobile heroes in the roster. Add some swashbuckling and you'd have one of the coolest as well! He'd definitely be one of Rivals' top duelists.
Moondragon: She can summon a dragon made of telekinetic energy. How has Heather not been in a good video game yet? She'd make a great vanguard, her dragon construct absorbing damage for her team while dishing it back out with great force!
Gambit: Remy's power set makes him perfect for the demoman archetype, especially in a game where several characters can build walls to deny areas to the enemy. Everyone's favorite gambler can easily fit the role as a duelist.
Gamora: Magik can't be the only swordswoman duelist in the game forever! Hacking and slashing as the deadliest woman in the galaxy would be an awesome experience, and frankly one I'd be disappointed not to get.

Okay. We've talked about Peter and Thor. But nobody gets screwed in this movie harder than Gamora.
When I first revisited Guardians 1, I talked a bit about the differing design choices made with Gamora's character. James Gunn dialed down the Deadliest Woman in the Galaxy aspect to emphasize Gamora and Nebula's abuse at Thanos's hands. Guardians 1 and 2 crafted a survivor narrative for these characters.
This is where that story ends. Gamora and Nebula's abuser comes back into their lives, physically tortures Nebula, emotionally tortures Gamora, and then he murders Gamora. The survivor narrative culminates in Gamora failing to survive her abuse, while the camera cuts away from her to dwell on how it makes Thanos feel to murder her.
This is a reprehensible way to conclude a survivor narrative. Nebula will go on to appear in future films but Gamora ends here. She never escaped her abuser. She never survived Thanos. She died at his hands while the movie called it love. Endgame will slot in a Replacement Goldfish, abducting a parallel universe's Gamora to slide into Guardians 3 as compensation, but that really just makes it worse, doesn't it?
This is just gross. And the worst part is, it's not going somewhere. It's not building to a payoff. It's not inspiring Nebula to be the one to take down Thanos like she is in the comic being adapted. Gamora's spirit in the Soul Gem will not be a turning point in the conflict against Thanos. This is it. This is the payoff. Thanos crying while he watches Gamora die from his choices is the payoff.
It's not build-up. They tortured Nebula physically and Gamora emotionally to create drama and get Thanos to Vormir. Then they killed off Gamora in the worst way possible to create a sympathetic moment for her abuser. It's sick. I hate it. Vormir is the worst concept ever introduced to the MCU.

RPG Games
NiER
Kaine
Tumblr media
Because of the actual story/plot of the game, Kaine is intersex and has both sexual organs. It is genuinly important to her character and arc, as well as the fact she is... rather large.
NiER Automatica
Commander White
Tumblr media
The Commander of YoRHA. The woman in chagre, hiding the dark secret of their mission as they fight against the machines
YoRHA Unit 2B
Tumblr media
A Type 2 Model B, a Battler Model with the Type 2 personality and apperance. A skilled warrior with blades and guns, very serious and by the mission
YorHA Unit 2P
Tumblr media
A Paladin Model. Skilled in defence and mele weapons, 2P is a counterpart to 2B. More of a tank than the jack of all trades that 2B is. Like her inverted colour scheme, 2P is also an inversed personality. Happy, excitable, joyful and teasing.
YoRHA Unit A2
Tumblr media
A2 is a much older Unit than 2B is. While they share the same apperance and starting personality, A2 is a bit more cynical and has little skill with a gun as an Attacker Type her full capabilities lies with Mele weapons
YoRHA Unit 9S
Tumblr media
9S is a super curious and excitable femboy. Super submissive and curious to learn anything about humanity, also deeply loyal to 2B.
YoRHA Operative 6O
Tumblr media
A gentle, free spirited soul. 6O is the operative charged with helping 2B. Acting like a little sister, but also potentially being in love with the warrior, she is vastly curious and excitable about Earth.
YoRHA Operative 21O
Tumblr media
21O is the Operative in charge of 9S. Acting as a big sister/mother figure she tries to stop him from getting too caught up in his curiosity.
Mass Effect
Commander Jane 'FemShep' Sheppard
Tumblr media
Jane Shepard is a no-nonsense military woman. Captain of the Normandy, she is a Spectre. Above the law, dealing with the galaxy's deadliest threats. A mix of paragon and renegade, she will kick your ass if you are racist to one of her crew but also be more than happy to joke over some drinks at an Asari stirp club
Tali'Zorah Vas Normandy
Tumblr media
Tali is a Quarian. A race of Space nomads forced from their home from the AI known as the Geth, and intergalactic law screwing them over. She is so sweet and kind, a brilliant engineer and more than deadly with a shotgun
Miranda Laweson
Tumblr media
Miranda Lawson, made/cloned to be genetically perfect by her father. She escaped his clutches to try and live her own life. Confident in her sex appeal, she is a powerful biotic (basically space wizard/psychic) and takes no one's shit
Kasumi Goto
Tumblr media
Kasumi is the galaxy's greatest thief. With tech to make her almost completely invisible to sight, sound and any type of vision imaginable. She is basically a space ninja. She is a fun playful tease who does what she wants as she pleases, because why not?

Im new and here's a first post talking about how Sam deserves to be with his space fam ( this is Marvel related btw)
The MCU has been not so gud lately, I don't think u need ANOTHER person saying that. But just like everyone else I do think that the new Guardians of the Galaxy movie is SO FUCKING GOOOD. And it got me realise something, other then the fact that I didn't realise how much of a fan I was of the Guardians, I ALSO realise that there isn't any fanfiction with Sam Alexander with any of the Guardians. If you don't know who Sam is he is the 2nd Nova in the Comics while Richard is the first. U can do ur research I'm not really here to summarise his character but he does technically interact with them in the comics, and the Ultimate Spider - man cartoon and Guardians of the Galaxy cartoon, there are more interactions that he has with them. And I honestly think he would have an interesting dynamic with them and adds something to the group, u know being the only kid in the group. But I see on AO3, there's barely ANY fanfics of him with them if not at all and I see this as a federal crime. How dare u people not do anything with this? There's so much potential, hell try making a fanfic that maybe inserts him in the MCU somehow or how he fits in the group literally ANYTHING GOOD MY SON HAS SO MUCH TO ADD. Look maybe I'm asking for too much, plus Richard is a lot more interesting as a character but STILL. IM GOING ABSOLUTELY FERAL KNOWING THAT THERES BARELY A TINY SALT OF CONTENT OF SAM AND THATS JUST A HATE CRIME AGAINST HIM. ALSO ALSO HE DESERVES HIS BESTIES MILES AND KAMALA TOO, YEP, THATS RIGHT IM GETTING THEM INVOLVED TOO. Imagine the trio discussing their families and then we have Sam, who not only has a mom and a sister, BUT A MCFREAKING SPACE FAM CONSISTING OF A TALIING TREE, A GUN SHOOTING RACCON, AND ASSASSIN WHOS THE MOST DEADLIEST WOMAN IN THE GALAXY, A QUOTE ON QUOTE DESTROYER AND A PIRATE/ CRIMINAL. The reaction to that would just be so-
So uhmm, I'm yeah case in point Sam deserves more Fanart and Fanfic with his Space family and Miles and Kamala ( or boyfriend and girlfriend-) and he deserves to be in the MCU to share Saif dynamics with said characters.
Note: so if there is any updates about, you know, fanfiction related to my boy Sam with his Space Fam let me know please, I beg.

“You know nothing of what I am.”
“I know what you’re not. What we aren’t.”

365 Marvel Comics Paper Cut-Out SuperHeroes - One Hero, Every Day, All Year…
December 21st - Gamora
Gamora Zen Whoberi ben Titan, renown as the deadliest woman in the galaxy, was born on the peaceful planet of Zen-Whoberi.  When she was a child, the entire populace of her planet were slaughtered by the Badoon on the orders of the nefarious Universal Church of Truth.  Young Gamora was the sole surviver having managed to evade the marauders.  She was later happened upon by Thanos, who took her in.  Thanos saw the potential in the child and honed her as a weapon to use against his enemy, The Magus (leader of the Universal Church of Truth).
Thanos showed little kindness to Gamora and his training of her was harsh and unforgiving, yet she remained entirely loyal and dedicating to avenging her people.  Her tremendous strength, speed, agility and durability, coupled with a near peerless proficiency with bladed weapons quickly earned her the infamy as Thanos’ most deadly of agents.
As a young adult, Gamora finally caught up with the Universal Church of Truth, slaughtering its guards and killing every member of the church involved prior to the genocide of the Zen-Whobies.  Soon thereafter, Gamora met and teamed up with Adam Warlock to take on The Magus (who was actually a future version of Adam corrupted by his own power).
Gamora and Adam became close and she came to see the evil Thanos represented.  After The Magus was finally defeated, Gamora betrayed her adopted father and aided The Avengers and Captain Marvel in battling Thanos.   As powerful as she was, Gamora was no match for Thanos and he mortally wounded her.  Before her body died, Adam Warlock took her mind and essence into his Soul Gem.  Adam perished himself in finally destroying Thanos and his essence joined Gamora in the paradise realm within the Soul Gem where they could live together in peace.
Thanos would later return and embarked on a quest to obtain the power gems needed to create the Infinity Gauntlet, which would bestow him unlimited power.  Adam Warlock became aware of this and he and Gamora ventured out of the Soul Gem, re-manifesting their corporal forms.  The two would go on to fight in the infinity War and Thanos was once more defeated.
Following further adventures, Gamora fought in the Annihilation War.  Some time thereafter, she was captured by the Phalanx and assimilated into their collective.  With her tremendous skills, The Phalanx chose to allow Gamora a degree of autonomy and sent her after their enemy Nova (Rich Rider).  The two battled and Nova was eventually able to save Gamora, freeing her from the Phalanx’s control.  Not long thereafter, Gamora joined a new iteration of The Guardians of the Galaxy led by Star-Lord.
Gamora remained with The Guardians throughout many adventures.  Later, she became captivated by the return of the Infinity Gems.  She came to follow her adoptive father’s goals.  Adopting a new identity of 'Requiem,' Gamora killed Thanos and started her quest to obtain the Infinity Gems. After collecting each gem by betraying her former friends, she folded the universe into the Warp World, but was eventually defeated.  Gamora was ultimately forgiven by her former allies and rejoined the Guardians of the Galaxy to prevent Thanos' resurrection
Actress Zoe Saldaña has portrayed Gamora in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.  The deadly heroine first appeared in the pages of Strange Tales #180 (1975).

The Guardians of the Galaxy have a crossover with Lilo & Stitch
SYNOPSIS: The spirit of 'Aloha' and 'Ohana' will never be the same when the Guardians of the Galaxy find themselves in the Hawaiian Islands of Lilo & Stitch.
It was another job well done and all in a day's work for the most unlikely team of heroes in the galaxy -- the Guardians of the Galaxy, composed of half-human/half-alien hybrid Peter Quill (aka Star-Lord); Gamora, the Deadliest Woman in the Galaxy; the rough-edged, barbaric Arthur Douglas, aka Drax the Destroyer; the genetically enhanced genius yet scrappy gearhead Rocket Raccoon; A loyal tree-like humanoid being named Groot; and the gentlest and empathic antennae psychic Mantis.
That is, until they are hired by the Grand Councilwoman of the Galactic Alliance (Recommended by Nova Prime of the Nova Corps) to stop the infamous Dr. Jacques von Hämsterviel and his hired henchman, the former ex-captain of the Galactic Alliance, Gantu.
Once the Guardians land smack dab on Earth in the middle of Hawaii, they team up with the eccentric (and mischievous) duo of Hawaiian girl Lilo Pelekai and genetic quirky alien Stitch, the former Experiment 626 by Dr. Jumba Jookiba.
But the Guardians aren't the only ones about to turn Hawaii upside down. Jumba brought his first 625 experiments (Stitch's 'cousins') here as well, meaning the surprises are set to keep on coming as Lilo, Stitch, Peter, Gamora, Drax, Rocket, Groot, and Mantis will have their hands full trying to round up all the experiments before Gantu and Hämsterviel can use them to wreak mayhem on the Galactic Empire and the entire galaxy. And who knows? Maybe Gantu and 625 (Reuben) get paired up with Nebula, sister of Gamora and another new henchwoman hired by Hämsterviel.
Along the way, Lilo and Stitch help made the Guardians realize that the one place this ragtag group of space heroes belong...is together.
Ohana of the Galaxy: Lilo & Stitch Meet the Guardians of the Galaxy explores and follows the narrative of what would happen if the events of Stitch!
