#deadplate oc

Since I haven't had a chance to really delve into how my Deadplate OC's really look in A Loveless Meal (except for Daniel), I decided to give some attention to the adorable OC couple that may get their own one-shot some day but for right now are just side characters in Vincent and Rody's story

First up is Michel, Vincent's ex who now acts as one of his closest friends and his sole voice of reason. 10/10, this lawyer would get you pardoned for nearly any crime if your name is either Vincent or Rody, or if you were ready to pay exorbitant lawyer fees

He ties his hair into a low ponytail when he's working and can most often be seen wearing a snazzy suit. In his down time, it's dress shirts and pants. Unlike Vincent, he smiles even when he's angry (a habit he picked up in court), so good luck on reading him.

He's got very light blonde hair, blue eyes, and skin a little less tan than Rody's.

I'll be making one for Olivier, his boyfriend, a bit later 😁

Soooo, meet Laurent Archambeau and Percival Tremblay! Both work in the bistro with vastly different views on the work-life ethics and just in general whats going on around the bistro :] (also they're boyfriends and i still need to draw them being together)

I need to draw more Deadplate ocs, specifically Skye and Rody because those are the only two characters of me + my friends to have official designs (cough cough inna hasn’t finished the design for their Deadplate oc) but that’s not important. Rody, brown haired loser, is my persona. Skye, blonde haired loser, belongs to my good buddy chum pal friend @anothergreatwisting :3

Some quick stuff

She does a little bit of every job at the bistro, and that includes occasionally cooking, she's had culinary experience in the past and has been there long enough Vince trusts her relatively XD

She gets hot easily after running around with orders so she'll go in the freezer to cool down

Pony also plays harmonica as it was a gift from her late grandfather and she sometimes plays it out back during breaks

I just liked the imagery of this

Honestly one of my favorite things to do horror wise is have a liquid pouring out of one or more places on the face

You can not convince me this man knows how to comfort people in any way

Are we allowed to make self inserts/do oc x canon with deadplate characters? I feel like if i do it and give Rody a gf, I'll be hatecrimed so I need to know 😭

I don't know if @ekrixart (co-developer of Dead Plate/creator of Vince) is comfortable with Vince being shipped like that so I can't speak for him yet but for Rody (I made him!) as long as people understand it's not canon/affiliated with the official game in any way & no one's harassing anyone about it I say go ahead have fun 👍
