You just know that at the very beginning Logan was so against all the cuddling and snuggling but secretly he loved it. Adored it even.

He could never get enough but put up the token act like it annoyed him beyond anything else.

And Wade would not do as much as he wanted because well he wasn't going to push it I'd Logan didn't like it. And Logan HATED it was the only thing Wade wouldn't do excessively to annoy him. He hated him for the fact that he respected his boundaries like that.

But every time he couldn't help but give in a little more before he doesn't know when the last time he was touched without there being some violence behind it.

He hates that he loves it as much as he does but truthfully he can't help it. He remembers the first night he worke up Wade plastered to back snoring softly. He'd felt so much genuine affection and love he was afraid he might melt into a gooey puddle. He wanted nothing more then to fall asleep like this every night, to be held like this whenever he wanted.

He wanted so badly. Then when Wade woke up he froze and peeled himself off and Logan wanted to haul him back, but he just pretended to be asleep.

He never let himself have it, he didn't think he deserved it.

Then he had one of the worst nightmares he's ever had which led into a panic attack that shook him to his core. He didn't know how long it took for him to come back to himself.

All he knew is that when he did Wade was caging him in with his body and holding him securely to his chest.

His breathing was deep and even, easy to copy. Wade had his arms wrapped securely around his chest and Logan for the first time in his life felt safe. He leaned back into Wade he couldn't help it and in return the merc just squeezed tighter.

"Fuck..." Logan muttered and Wade just hummed. Logan didn't pull away didn't whine or bitch just tried to breathe.

Once he was back in control Wade started to unwrap himself from him and Logan whimperd. Wade froze unsure but Logan ignored him just turned and cuddled into his chest. He needed this dumbass to keep him grounded to keep the nightmares away.

Wade looked down at him with wide eyes but took the hint wrapping his arms around him again and pulling his as close as he could.

Logan made a content sound and rumbled happily. They woke up the next morning not knowing where one began and the other ended.

It became their new normal and Logan couldn't be happier.
