Early on in their Guardianhood Aryn and Knot decided to pick last names, despite not technically needing them (cough because Morna has one and Morna is So Cool cough) and Knot did a bunch of research into human and neo-human naming etymology, and eventually settled on something like Knot Dupont for his name. And then Aryn was like “and I’VE decided that my name is going to be Aryn Rainbowsprinkles!” and Knot was like “Hold on, we can do that?? I changed my mind, my name is Knot Grimblade Deathdagger now, or Grim for short :D” and Morna just put her head down on the table and sighed
