Admit it. You’re not like the others, and that’s not just okay, it’s fucking beautiful.

"She was sexy in ways that you could never fathom, such a deep soul.. she would touch the deepest parts of you in the most intimate ways. She would caress your heart and feel around the darkness to see what she could spark to life, always bringing life where her fingertips tread.. every touch the most intimate encounter. She didn't talk much but when she did, the room would light up.. and that smile, oh how the sheer beauty alone could boggle the mind and heart. She is sexy in this way, so sexy that when she leaves.. a sadness creeps in, leaving you craving for more. She is kind, sweet, beautiful and so deserving of love.."
She lights me up like a match and snatches my heart with a laugh - eUë

"But why?" Alice asked.
"We destroy, making sure nothing is the same after we've shatter them" Jack paused for a moment
"It's what broken things do Alice" Jack said turning to the ocean.
"We destroy pure hearts"

Do you dare to dive into my soul?
This is a caption from a video piece I posted on Pinterest a few days ago.
If you have a Pinterest account, be sure to look me up and if you desire, follow me there. I post more than my own poetry there. My travel videos and photos, favourite poets, information about history, psychology, INFJ facts and animal rights (all my passions) 😊

It is easier to live life when you don't feel deeply, but it's more meaningful to live life and to feel deeply still. But that's for people like me.
I always think that some people can't feel so deeply because that's who they are. That's how they function and how they exist. Because I totally get it. Our emotions cripple us sometimes, and we also need people who can get things done because they don't have very deep feelings and emotions. We also need those who aren't so emotional for some things to be done.
As a person with too much to feel most of the time, I appreciate my uniqueness as well as others'. I acknowledge the fact that we keep the balance in this world by being our own unique self. Let's be who we are. Let's not hide from who we're meant to be.
The healers, the lovers, the givers, and the people who don't take things too personally because they're pretty chill and the others. Your tiny little light goes a long way. You are needed no matter how insignificant you think you are.

I think some of us were just meant to experience life more deeply. We don’t watch sunsets, we feel them. When others cry, we cry too. We’re painstakingly present yet constantly living in a state of nostalgia for the past. We’re highly alert to the beauty and the pain in the world and long for a future where the good that’s been lost can be restored.

Ruby Johnson was born in 1936, to a Black Jewish family in North Carolina. She later became a deep-soul singer, popular in certain parts of the United States in the 1960’s.
Her music initially only had minor success on the U.S. R&B charts, leading her to give up her singing career in the 70’s.
Greater interest in her catalog occurred when a new generation rediscovered her 60’s recordings in the 90’s. Since then, she has received millions of plays on platforms like YouTube and Spotify.
She sadly passed away in 1999, at the age of 63.

Oh honey but didn't you listen when your mother read you all those bed times stories.
For i am the dragon protecting my heart, and i wouldn't think twice to wait around the corner like a wolf and devour your soul.
