We finally got a special summer Splatfest after so many years!! The prophecy has been fulfilled!!

Listening to Daybreaker Anthem in-game is a spiritual experience, I think. WOW. I got chills when they started singing Anarchy Rainbow. So, so beautiful. It's like the whole world is greeting the morning sun…

The Splatoon OST just keeps on delivering aaargh!! I've gotta hang around after Splatfests now…

Honestly? I'm just grateful for the new Splatfest feature.

There's probably only 4 Splatfests left after this month's, but they still decide to improve the experience and keep it fresh. Is it a hint towards the extension of Splatfests beyond August 2024? Most likely not, but one can hope.

Despite the technical issues, and the whole Frye situation (which has to do with the theme choices), I just want to appreciate all the effort and content put into S3 Splatfests: I do believe they're the most fun and engaging in the franchise.

The devs just need to keep making tweaks—and I believe they're at least trying, regardless of how much they succeed.

The Squid Sisters have announced the last stage rotation already and the Wii U / 3DS servers are about to shut down… :(

How the years have flown by.

I never played Splatoon 1 because I didn't have a Wii U, but its uniquely charming art hooked me into the franchise through the Internet and made me buy Splatoon 2 at launch.

It's wild to see how far the series has come since then, and it wouldn't have been possible without this entry setting Splatoon up for success.

Goodbye, Splatoon 1. Thank you for introducing the world to this amazing universe. You will always stay fresh!
