Just got a package containing the Accent Series from Delta2Alpha. I opted for the red, since I felt it looked the best of the three options. TheMARK feels and works just like a regular one. The Lolly feels a little more substantial than the original acrylic Lolly. TheMIK feels the same as the original version. The Accent series is available from both Delta2Alpha and @law66 . The accent colors will help them blend in to “regular” life.

Goruck gr2 (I have the 40L model)

I basically live out of this pack. It holds all my clothing, hygiene and dental products, footwear, and accessories. Goruck is known for it’s very durable (with a “bombproof” laptop compartment), comfortable, waterproof, field tested (special forces tested in field, goruck and other very rugged events, everyday life, and rucking/hiking ) backpacks. Their warranty is unbeatable as they are a lifetime warranty and cover manufacture defects as well as user wear and tear. The GR2 40L has a deceptively huge amount of storage capability in a 12.5Wx22Hx9d dimension that is TSA carry-on compliant. It has 13 compartments (including the 2 main compartments that you find when you unzip the 2 sets of zippers) with the option to add more via molle (outside and upper part of the compartment that has my clothes). I currently have only used 30-35% of it’s regular capacity.

I found this very convenient for me as I at times travel around (including trips to SE Asia) and hate carrying a lot with me. This also helps condition me to be more efficient as well as mindful of space and the things I own (since I not only have to know where everything is, but also have to fit it all in and zip/unzip the compartments and haul it around as well when I bring the pack).

Additional plus side: Plenty of places to hide things. Those that know, know.

The D2A Mod of the Kudu is complete: What we did: *Changed the blade geometry to a Wharncliffe; our preference *Shortened the Blade *Shortened and reshaped the handle to allow for a more comfortable Scythe or P’Kal Grip *Jimping was added for better purchase. *Thumbstud was added for easier opening with one hand. FUNNY TRUE STORY: 3/23/16 I just came from an undisclosed location. I spent the evening and broke bread with a very interesting fellow. He definitely knows his craft to say the least. Just as I left said undisclosed location, I noticed he left his box of cookies. Being the individual that I am, I decided to return said box of cookies. Mind you, these cookies are pretty good cookies, and a pretty big box full of them.. unopened. I walk up 4 flights of stairs (he was on the 4th level at the time of meeting) and knock on the door. There was a long pause of silence. Then he finally answers and opens the door. He sees the box in my hands and I told him he forgot it in my card. He laughs and pulls his other hand from behind the door and reveals a very familiar looking bag hanger (TheMark)..

…thats right, I was about to get beaten with a bag hanger for returning cookies.

Now as I drive home, on this dark and lonely road, hungry, I regret not eating said cookies. Moral of the story: There is a price to pay when you do the right thing. There is also a price to pay for doing the wrong thing. The key is, weighing your options and making a choice you can live with..

On a side note, it’s really interesting to see that Delta2Alpha is spreading around very unique circles. I’ve seen it on very interesting people very particular skillsets.
