Miss Piggy: "I'm jealous of Annie Sue...but I hate Denise. Jealousy, or hatred? It's like having to choose one child over the other...HATRED. Surprisingly easy choice."
I've casted some of the muppets for Heather's: The Musical. I wanted to post them somewhere, so I'm gonna post them here. Now I was thinking of having Miss Piggy as Veronica and Kermit as JD, but I started thinking about it and realized the role didn't suit them. So, I cast Janice as Veronica and Floyd as JD.
I was originally considering Crazy Harry as JD, but I thought it would be better if Floyd was JD instead. Now for the Heather's: Miss Piggy as Heather Chandler, Denise as Heather Duke, and Yolanda as Heather McNamara. Heather C suits Piggy so much more the Veronica and I feel like Denise would just really fit Heather D, Yolanda was more of a left over female muppet I just tossed in but the kore I thought about it the more it also just works.
Now, for Martha Dunstock, I went a slightly different route and cast Gonzo as her. I feel like it fits really well, if Gonzo was in Heather's, he would be the one to get bullies (I'm sorry Gonzo). I also just wanted an excuse to swap a gender role and that also fits Gonzo perfectly since I'm pretty sure he's cannons nonbinary so yeah.
Now our definitely NOT gay jocks! Pepé the King Prawn is cast as Ram Sweeney, and Rizzo is Kurt Kelly. They are already best friends and just add some jock clothes, which Rizzo already dresses like that but still. Them.
Now the last two rolls I wanted to cast muppets in was Kurt and Ram's Dad's and who's better to play the role then Statler and Waldorf!
Denise knows deep down that Kermit's still in love with Miss Piggy. She can't be angry with the diva, though. She tried to angry with Miss Piggy, but she knows it's not her fault.
She sees the way his eyes shine when he looks in Piggy's direction, the yearning in those dark eyes shine in her face like the sun.
She can see Piggy's eyes shine the same way, slightly dimmer than his, but it's still there.
If nothing else proved it, the show broadcasting their proclamation of love sure did it for her.
She wants Kermit to be happy, and if that means being out of the picture then so be it.
Kermit loves Piggy, maybe more than life itself. She already knew that was a possibility, but she just didn't want it to be true.
