a lot of people seem to use Entry #61 as 'proof' for the crux of the "Brian didn't care about Tim, he was Taking Advantage of Tim's conditions and Forcing him to work as part of totheark" thing, but honestly when you think about it there's no possible way Brian could have possibly orchestrated that series of events, like you almost have to interpret that as a baffling group of coincidences

i have such complicated feelings towards the boondocks as a franchise amidst revisiting both the comic strip and the tv show... one thing for certain aaron mcgruder you will always be famous

after playing oblivion, watching some morrowind videos, and now playing skyrim at the higher levels, ive gotten the impression the leveling system ISNT as different as it seems, the core ideas are still there

like, in the first two games i mentioned u generally pick a pick some major and minor/misc skills, level the misc ones and then use the majors to get a character level. skyrim takes away those numbers, but as you get into the higher thresholds, often you get more level exp from the mic shit your doing- lockpicking, using the odd spell not in your wheelhouse, using a cool weapon you found youre not specced into, etc

its obviously not the same, the stats being gone is obv huge, but i think in some ways it achieves the same ends, just in a different progression
