After talking for a bit with my psychologist (this isn't a diagnosis yet, she just told me the possibilities so I can start to slowly come to terms with what may be happening to me) I may have a borderline personality disorder which to be honest is one disorder I never felt like I fully understood. After my psychologist told me it's also known as emotionally unstable personality disorder my meme brain was like "ha, me." so there's that. If I understood her correctly she told me that depression has a cycle so it's been too many years for me, so depression shouldn't be what it's affecting me now but that doesn't mean I wasn't suffering from depression. However, depression wasn't the origin of my "issues" but that depression was a consequence of the personality disorder. Another possibility that she has been talking about with my psychiatrist is a schizotypal disorder but she’s not so sure. And she also mentioned an obsessive–compulsive personality disorder because of the similarities with the obsessive–compulsive disorders that it’s something related to the dermatillomania and dermatophagia and all that gross stuff that haunts me.
