Actually, that's why they adopted his new sister Julia. We all remember her from the Brownie clan right?

Before you ask, "they" is plural here. Donnie is not working alone. He's not even the one in Gru's role here, he's more Dr. Nefario making tech and gathering Intel.

The main face of our villain duo is Cassandra! She has been his partner in crime for a little over eleven years. He broke away from his brothers for… personal reasons, and she was kicked out of the foot clan. The whole thing started because they accidentally hid in the same building while hiding from Donnie's brothers. You can imagine Cassandra's confusion when he shushed her so the others wouldn't hear.

Donnie's brothers were there because someone stole the pizza they ordered and Mikey was hoping it was Donnie. Leo and Raph Trying to be more realistic. Inside the building, Donnie offers Cassandra a slice of stolen pizza.

Donnie wants to adopt Shelldon because he's brilliant. Building drones and robots as well as hacking into bank accounts for money to buy more supplies. Donnie knows from experience how hard it is to be a young genius and could give him some proper guidance!

Cassandra seems a little hesitant at adopting another kid at first, they only need the one. Donnie tells her he found a child named Casey Jones. They've got her name on them they're her's!

Baxter would be in Vector's place, with Big Mama the one pulling the strings trying to get him to succeed in her name. He'd just be another pawn to her. She'd do anything to stop Cassandra and Othello from succeeding.

That's another thing. To hide from his brothers Donnie uses an alias. Of course, I had to go with Othello Von Ryan, or Otto as Cassandra calls him because "Othello whatever is too much to remember." Rearranged episodes so he leaves before meeting the purple dragons so never used it around April. He also uses a cloaking broach when leaving the house, including pretending to be married to Cassandra to adopt the kids, and when around the children.

For minions, we have a bunch of mini Buddys from the Franken foot episode and the sentient bed as the "pet" Kyle.

I have more, including most of the Shelldon stuff, just don't like putting too much in one post.

Hi, I'm incredibly tired, but I have a Despicable Me AU thing that's been plaguing my mind and I desperately need to write it out.

To any of my mutuals that couldn't care less about DM, sorry in advance-

So basically the AU goes that in the AVL prison or wherever they keep the villains a riot broke out that involved a lot of gadgets being stolen. Bla bla this part isn't important, but basically one of the gadgets can de-age people, and coincidentally all of the villains that Gru had to deal with in the Despicable Me and Minions movies all fall victim to it.

So now Gru is stuck dealing with all these child variants of people who have literally tried to kill him and his family. The icing on top is that none of them have any memory of what they did as adults.

Vector's stuck as the youngest, younger than Agnes even (I'm pretty sure she's 5?? He'd be 3-4).

Scarlet, Herb, and the Vicious 6 (minus Nun-Chucks since she's realistically dead before the incident even happened) are all between the ages of 5-8.

El Macho and Bratt are the oldest. El Macho is 11 while Bratt is 14.

Probably the most interesting part of this is that the Girls and all the villains are... getting along. Agnes entertains all the really young villains, Edith and the villains her age all wreak havoc, while the strangest friendship is with Bratt and Margo, who are able to have a chill conversation as the oldest.

Major changes of Despicable Minions (DM AU):

My AU "Despicable Minions" takes place in 2024 now, not in 2023;

Amber already graduated with a Master degree of Art History and Visual Culture in Toronto university. She currently works in her fathers' bakery as their personal designer (she designed their logo, the interior, as well as she designs the pastry they're selling) - she also sometimes gets designing requests from her friends and acquaintances.

Lucy and Tom were born in 1974 from now on (I kept the month and day of birth, though).

Important: According to Wiki, Lucy's age is 35 - 36 but one time it was changed to 40 ~ 45 and then returned to the first info, so I made a compromise and chose age between it - in my DM AU, Lucy was 39 during Despicable Me 2 events and 40 in Despicable Me 3.

Amber, Tom's daughter, was still conceived by accident - Tom and Evelyn were university students at the same faculty and then became coworkers.

What I changed is their relationship - when they conceived Amber, they were already married.

I haven't changed Evelyn's cause of death - she died of postpartum complications, some weeks after Amber was born. It's unknown how many weeks it was after Evelyn's daughter was born (which is another change) - what I kept is that Amber doesn't remember her mom and that Tom was deeply hurt after his wife's death.

In one of my first minion artworks on DeviantArt I stated that Wendy's full name is "Wendeline" - now it's changed to "Gwendoline" because I already have some other OCs with a name "Wendeline" and I don't want them all to be mistaken for each other.

I also changed her personality a little, as well as personalities of some of my other minion OCs (I didn't post all of them on my DA, so you'll only see the newest version :-) ).

Ruby and Bianca Wilde are now twin sisters, both born on 27th March 1950. Ruby is still the older one.

I discovered a mistake I accidentally made when creating Master Chow's grandson because a name "Lei" is actually more used for women. Therefore, Lei is now Master Chow's granddaughter and she runs the martial art school in San Francisco with her husband Tao.

Due to changing info in most of the characters' profiles, I will try my best not to touch them and keep them in W.I.P. (work in progress) until the Despicable Me 4 movie comes out.

Therefore, most of the facts and infos I'm going to upload soon will be focused on my OCs (meaning Amber, Tom, Damien, Ruby, female minions, etc.)

Last two Mobian Mayhem refs(for now! I've casted Sage, Belle, and Trip as the girls so expect to see their refs in the future!)featuring Eggman as of course the master supervillain Gru(bruh he is gosh darn perfect for Gru and you can't convince me otherwise)and Starline for Doctor Nefario. I didn't really have that many options for Nefario so I just went with Starline instead. This also happened to be my first time drawing both of them, so that's a start.

I saw Thor so how about a despicable me au. Miles loan request is denied in his steal the moon project because Franziska stole the shrink ray he stole and Manfred declares the project too risky without the key piece secured. He's been ejected from her lair 456 times already.

And then he sees her welcome in the girl scout cookie kids and has a lightbulb.

He takes home three little kids. All holding hands- assumed they were related - is Kay, Sebastian and little Trucy. He manages to steal the ray with their help and then on the way back they demand to go to the amusement park on the boardwalk.

He plans to tuck them into the rollercoaster and leave. They'll get over it- just like he didn't. But adults must ride with kids. He passes out from sheer terror. Comes around to trucy and Kay attempting to swindle a swindler into giving Sebastian the rainbow unicorn stuffed animal of his dreams. Miles reaches up and grabs it.

"Hey no can do Mister you gotta knock them all over to win!" "She did." "Nuh uh see that one? Still standing." "... I see. Let's play again."

The shack does not have a back when they leave. Sebastian buries his entire torso in his prize. "ITS SO FLUFFY I COULD DIE!"

By the time he gets home they're all covered in face paint and either giggling or sugar comaed right to sleep.

Manfreds face twitches as Miles re presents the plan now that the key asset is in place. The trio keeps interrupting. "... Pathetic. Boy you can't even read a room. I was attempting to be gentle. Your simply no longer worth the risk. Loan denied."

Miles and kids end up at a bank glaring down on burned out bank teller Phoenix Wright for a loan to- "uh..." *Kay whispers into Miles ear* "No we are not buying you a paraglider." *Trucy whispers* "I will not have tigers in the house young lady magic or no." *Sebastian whispers* "... Yes thank you Sebastian remodel the house so they can have their own rooms."

They end up on a date. It's definitely not cause Phoenix is a member of the Evil reformation team secretly trying to suss out if Miles is a viable candidate or because Miles is extremely gay. No he just wants to copy wright's office key and approve his loan. Sure. Suuuuure Miles.

"What you gonna offer to steal the moon from the sky for me?"

"It would have made a better gift than the flowers."

"the ones you were allergic to?"

"precisely. What would have been a good date then Wright."

*Flashbacking to being strapped to a table James Bond style and having a Lazer grow ever closer.* "Not being kidnapped is nice."

"what?"

"i said if i don't end up taking a nap partway through it's nice."

At the climax Franziska has kidnapped the kids from their ballet recital (Sebastian was the only one Really into it but the fact Miles didn't show up broke their hearts all the same) and is holding them hostage while she has stolen even the moon from him and Papa loves her more and-

"STOP IGNORING ME AND UNTYING THEM ITS VERY RUDE!"

Miles spends the majority of their climatic fight trying to get the kids to safety and keep them calm. She points the electroshocker directly at him. Sebastian grabs the back of his leg, crying. Miles doesn't look away as he gently tries to push him free. "Go to Gumshoe Sebastian. Go." Manfred screams in her earpiece just to Do it already.

The moon jolts. Increasing in size. "Oh shi-" "Takee mushrooms." Miles finishes for her. Working together to return it to the sky before it crushes them all.

She slips out as the dust settles. Confused. Stands as Manfred - Papa - scolds her to hell and back. On her watch she watches Miles tuck the trio into bed. Kiss them on the head. Something he never did. For either of them.

"Are you listening to me Girl?"

"No." Tranquil as his face went red. Fury building oh so familiarly. Hand on the electroshocker whip. "I'm done listening to you I think."

Phoenix shows up the next day with a smile and "Great news! Your loan was approved!" Miles stares at him with the velvet mansion behind him. "Course you know that already since you approved it yourself!"

"..."

"So let's talk about your repayment plan!" Hands him a pamphlet on the Villain redemption initiative.

"I'm not doing this."

Course if Geff Beesos woke up in nothing but his boxers, assets raided like the Grinch had been through and millions more woke up to find their medical debt was gone - well. That could still be considered Villainous couldn't it?

Here I am again over a year later with my new art of Despicable Me bird AU (Rise Of Gru in particular, of course). Nefario still looks like a literal cockatiel to me, though I decided to change the species for small Gru, for something that still fits him but is actually smaller than cockatiel in real life. My choice here was the Blue Gray Gnutcatcher. Tiny frowning bird.

And the new brushes! Oh yeah I found absolutely brilliant colored pencil brushes for Procreate and I am having fun with them.

The Shelldon stuff. : D

Robot Shelldon being a drone human Shellson had built for spying and gathering intel. Also good at helping with dangerous situations without putting himself in danger. Shelldon repurposes a VR headset to see what the drone sees and to pretend like he is the drone. He knows the keyboard so well he doesn’t even need to look at it which helps when he has the headset on and can’t see it.

Nearly gives Donnie a heart attack as he tries to play it cool and asks why a turtle. Shelldon had heard of some mutant turtle heroes and thought they were cool and that started his love of turtles as deep deep-dived into them and based his drone on a sea turtle. He had only seen poor-quality pictures people took of the mutants but he liked the purple one’s vibe the best and now his favorite color is purple and he lowkey hero worships him.

There’d be rumors and online forums for the turtles that discussed them and Shelldon's part of one. The purple one was known to at times be more morally gray than the others and that’s part of the reason he liked him. Some times you don’t have to luxury to take the high ground and for the greater good you need to be the “bad guy”. Shelldon gets that. As an orphan, he’s all too aware of how cruel the world is and how things aren’t black and white. He’s done “bad” things like lying to stay safe and help others. It can’t be much different in the hero world.

One day the purple one just disappeared and tons of rumors popped up. Some say he died. Others that he was kicked off the team or quit. No one knows and there are tons of theories within theories. Shelldon refuses to believe he’s dead so he goes with the kicked-off/quit theory. But what could have caused that to happen? He wishes he knew. The other turtles are still active but no one has seen or heard a thing from the purple one in years.

Shelldon who loves conspiracy theories writing down everything that Casey thinks is weird about their new dad. He agrees that something is definitely up with their new parents and Othello is definitely the weirder one. Julia just likes chaos and wants to add fuel to the fire. Plus it’d be cool if their parents weren’t normal. Normal is boring. Shelldon keeps trying to spy and hack into Donnie's cameras.

Sneaking down to the lab they find some of Donnie’s battle shells and other strange inventions. Except, imagine it being less sneak down, and more find completely by accident by falling into the secret entrance while looking for clues. Julia and Casey Jr landing in crouches while Shelldon falls flat on his face.

Donnie working down there without his brooch and not noticing because his music is blaring. The kids follow the music only to see some weird turtle mutant. Julia is ready to fight it and Shelldon is fangirling so hard after connecting the dots.

Julia seeing Shelldon has answers and isn't afraid to torture him for them, so spill. Shelldon having a Donnie level info dump. She'll torture him if he doesn't shut up.

Donnie realizing the kids are their and panicking. How could this have happened?! Why hadn’t he been alerted to trespassers?! How does Shelldon know exactly who he is?! What does he do? What does he tell Cass?

Donnie trying to figure out if he comes clean, plays dumb, pretends to just be someone else living there, or pretends he broke in. The kids aren’t even supposed to stay with them, it’s just until they pull off this heist! He can’t let them know he’s their “dad”. Coming clean is a no no for now. Pretending to be someone else who lives here would probably work best.

Donnie having to use his real name for the first time in years as he explains he's just someone their parents let stay with them in return for help with tech. He doesn’t like how familiar but foreign his name feels on his tongue. The kids don’t believe he’s telling him the whole truth but are satisfied for now.

Shelldon asks if this means Cass and Othello are heroes too and Donnie can't stop his laugh. He can't tell what that face Shelldon makes means, but he knows it's not good.

Shelldon asking Donnie why he became a villain. Being an anti hero is one thing and was cool but to completely switch sides? What happened to his brothers? What made him disappear?Donnie just saying things happen and not elaborating.

Shelldon would be in a bit of denial after finding out Donnie turned into a villain. It can’t be true, he’s just an anti hero or something! Doing questionable things but for the greater good and with the bigger picture in mind. Eventually tho he has to realize that his hero is a villain now. There’s no denying it after a while.

That doesn’t mean he can’t change tho! He was a hero once and he can be one again! Shelldon will make sure of it. He just needs to find out what caused this change.

Minions are actually very intelligent creatures but the male tribe has a tendency to hide it with their language  and with playful, childish and frolic behavior;

The female tribe doesn't hide intelligence, most of the minion girls is still playful and frolic, though - sometimes even more than the boys;

Some minions (in both tribes) are serious and less frolic, of course;

Balthazar has a daughter he never met - despite his megalomaniac personality, he had a girlfriend who he eventually left behind on his villainous way;

Her name was Roselle Moreau and she didn't tell Balthazar she's pregnant when he was leaving because she felt he wouldn't stay anyway;

Balthazar's daughter is named Colette Moreau, she's 21 years old (b. 5th October 2002; Libra = the Scales) and she's a shy and reserved yet very talented hobby dancer and a university student of Philosophy (Toronto university);

Colette doesn't know exactly who her father is/was because Roselle doesn't want to talk about him - she only told her daughter her father was a jerk and a criminal, so Collete isn't looking for him;

Fact: Balthazar is Canadian, was born there and was living there until the age of 11 - I made this headcanon because of how he spoke French in Despicable Me 3 without any problems. My first thoughts of why his French is so good were that he's either somebody who's good at learning languages or somebody whose native language is French (which appealed to me more) - however, I would expect him to have at least a slight French accent if he was meant to be from France (which is characteristic for one of my OCs of this AU). That's why I decided to put Balthazar in a country that has two official languages and one of them is French (so the accent doesn't have to be there) - I eventually chose Canada;

After 'Despicable Me 3", the male minion tribe divided - a bigger part of them ran away with Dru while the rest of the tribe, those who weren't willing to become villains again, stayed with Gru;

Mel (full name "Melvin" in my AU) is the actual alpha of the male minion tribe and the one who's in charge of Dru's group of minions;

Kevin, the second in charge, stayed with Gru and became an alpha of the smaller group of the minions at Gru's house - his reasons for it were simple: he developed slight PTSD after being in prison, he didn't feel any anger towards Gru anymore and was able to renew his loyalty and the most important, he himself wasn't interested in crime anymore and just wanted to have a nice and calm life;

A small chicken minion from "Minions: The Rise of Gru" is still alive - he lost almost all his feathers (except some feathers on his head and arms), his beak reformed into normal minion mouth, his teeth grew and even his arms and legs became more minion-like;

He also talks normally;

My headcanon: Stuart named his "child" Chico - it means "kid/boy" in Spanish and it also sounds like "chicken", a little. Chico is a complete opposite of his father: silent, shy, gentle, polite yet filled with energy. He stayed with Dave after Despicable Me 3 while Stuart ran away with Dru - Chico misses his dad but doesn't feel any anger towards him.

Fact: Minions can breed in my AU;

Mel is the oldest male minion and has seven younger brothers, (including Steve and Stuart, who's actually the youngest brother), as well as a big number of cousins;

This also means Chico is Mel's nephew;

Lucy left her relatives (those who are alive) because she wanted to take revenge on that villain who murdered her parents, grandparents and great-grandmother;

Her relatives didn't agree and one of them (Lucy's aunt, specifically) even got in an argument with Lucy, which ended up by Lucy leaving;

Lucy still feels guilty for leaving them behind and would be happy to meet them again, she doesn't have enough courage to return and fix the relationship with them, however;

Fact: Gru knows only a part of Lucy's past because she doesn't like to talk about it - he respects her and doesn't ask about it but he also told her if she ever needs to tell him, he will listen and help her;

Minions are almost immortal - they can't be injured by a lot of common things, they can't die of old age, however, there are some ways they can injure themselves and even ways they can die (for example beasts created by PX-41 serum can make them injuries they can't heal completely and they can even kill the minions);

Bonus fact!: Minions Mike and Ken (from "Panic in the Mailroom") survived the attack of three mutated kittens and currently lives with the female minion tribe;

They're covered with scars, one of Ken's eyes is missing, Mike is limping on his leg and they both also have PTSD, but otherwise they're doing pretty well;

Both Mike and Ken got married to two beautiful minion girls named Coco and Caroline "Carrie" - there are also some rumors among the female tribe saying Carrie might be pregnant;

Surprise! Longclaw will be in Mobian Mayhem! I decided to redesign her and write her in for RoG cause this version of it will be based on the second Sonic movie! Her look is a bit "modern" because she's supposed to be a retired warrior who now makes sanctuary in the modern time period.
