The Twisted Wonderland orange peel theory

The orange peel theory: A theory in which one requests their significant other to peel an orange for them. If they say yes, then it means they are willing to do small tasks for their lover. If they say no, it may suggest they are less willing to offer support, the theory says.

Sitting around in the presence of your beloved whilst holding an orange, you glance at him contemplating something. You decided to put him to the test! Will he pass?

General warnings: Gender-neutral reader. Also if you don't like oranges/are allergic to them, just imagine something else! <3

Lilia

Your fae lover sat at his computer playing away at his video game while you lay upon his bed fiddling with an orange in hand. You glanced over at him, turning around to lay on your stomach and holding out the orange.

"Lilia, love?" You asked.

"Yes, darling?" He replied, eyes glued to his screen

"Will you peel this orange for me please?" He paused his movements and turned his head to look at you with a carefree smile upon his face. Without hesitation, he grabbed the orange out of your hand and began peeling away at the skin and discard it in the garbage that sat next to his gaming desk. You giggled slightly and thanked him with a kiss against his cheek, Lilia removing himself from his computer and engulfing you in a hug tackling you to the bed.

"If you wanted my attention, surely you could have found something more creative than peeling an orange, my little bat~"

verdict: Pass! He had the wrong idea of your intentions, but he still won.

Malleus

"Malleus," You asked the tall male, interrupting his focus in crafting the gargoyle he had been paying attention to, holding out the orange in your hand.

"Yes?" He asked, averting his attention from his craft to attentively look at you. He glanced at the orange and flicked his eyes back to yours, tilting his head in confusion.

"Will you peel this for me, please?" Malleus had furrowed his eyebrows ever so slightly- a frown upon his lips as he studied the fruit.

"Are you struggling with peeling it by yourself?" He asked in genuine concern, grasping your hands to study them, "Are you experiencing any pain that is hindering your skills?" You giggled at his strangely focused pout while analyzing your hands, it wasn't even a moment later before he used his magic to lift the orange, peel it, and even take apart each of the slices before grabbing it with his hands and holding one to your mouth.

"Here, I shall feed you. No need to further strain your hands, dearest."

Verdict: Pass...? he has the spirit!!

Trey

The moment you were studying the orange dubiously with an interesting look of focus immediately caught his attention. You didn't even have to ask Trey before he was asking for you!

"Would you like me to peel that for you? You've been staring at it for a while," He chuckled. You smiled up at him and held out the orange with enthusiasm and a nod. He took it gracefully and peeled it perfectly, handing it back and throwing away the peels for you.

"You're the sweetest," You smiled whilst popping a slice into your mouth, Trey responding with a bashful smile and rubbing the back of his neck awkwardly.

"There's no need for that...you just seemed deep in thought, so it was more or less an excuse to bring that up. Is something on your mind? You can talk to me about anything."

Verdict: Pass with flying colors!

Rook

"Rooook!" You called out holding an orange to the sky, "Can you peel this orange for me, please!? I don't want my hands to smell like oranges!" You seemed to be calling out into the woods at nothing, but in reality you were sitting against a tree waiting for Rook to finish hunting. You decided to put his loyalty to the test. You heard rustling around before an arrow zoomed past the top of your head, piercing the orange out of your hand and hitting the tree.

Your jaw slacked open, mortified.

You trusted Rook with your life, yes, but he likes to test this sometimes.

"If that is what your heart desires, of course I shall peel this orange for you, my beloved!" He skipped over and took the orange off of the tip of the arrow and began to peel away at it. You stared at him in horror.

"...Rook."

"oui?" An innocent smile as he worked away at the...now miss-shapen fruit.

"Go get me a new orange."

Verdict: ...Questionable pass..? He went and got you a new orange, and peeled it properly for you.

Vil

"Can you peel this for me?" Vil glanced over with furrowed eyebrows and a frown upon his perfect features.

"Why do you require my assistance in peeling an orange? Are you unable to do it yourself?" The question was valid and innocent enough, but you were determined to go through with this challenge.

"Just do it, please?" You gave him puppy eyes, "I don't want to get the peeling under my nails." An excuse you felt he would be able to understand, surely!

"And you believe I do?" He retorted.

Touché...

You flashed him a pout, and he caved. Vil sighed and held out his hand for you to place the orange, slowly and with care removing it's peel. You gave him a bright smile and a little giggle, for you knew he always caves eventually when it comes to you. He loves that part of you though, how you seem to always brighten up at the smallest of things. It's a part of your charm.

"What are you giggling about? It's just an orange, silly potato. You get excited over the most random of things..."

Verdict: Pass with some push

Leona

"No." He was pretty immediate to reject your question. You began to whine and pester him.

"Leona! Please? Will you do just this little thing for me?" You gave him puppy eyes, to which he sighed exasperatedly and rolled his eyes.

"Why can't you do it yourself?"

"Because I want you to do it."

"That's not an answer."

"Why do I need to have a reason?"

"You woke me up from my nap to peel an orange."

"And?"

He turned around to fall back asleep, you responded with shaking his body and complaining to your lover. Leona turned his body and used his strong arms to pull you into his chest.

"Stop your whining and take a nap with me, herbivore. The orange can wait."

Verdict: Fail...? but in a weird way. You get it?

Ruggie

"Eh?" Ruggie looked up at you with wide eyes, "Peel an orange? Why?" You pouted at the brown haired heyena and placed your free hand upon your hips.

"Because you're my boyfriend, and i'm asking you oh-so-nicely..." He shrugged and took the orange, peeling it.

And then, when you thought he was being extra nice to you and peeling away the slices for you to eat, he took half of the orange and popped it into his mouth. Much to your dismay.

"My orange!!" You complained. Ruggie handed you the other half and laughed.

"What? There's always a price for labor, even if it's just an orange! Besides, you're my s/o, and I wanted it oh-so-bad...sharing is caring, right?"

Verdict: Pass...and you made him go get you another orange. In which he also ate half of before it got to you.

Ace

"Peel this for me," You said in the middle of watching a movie, holding out the orange. Ace eyed it dubiously before looking back up at you.

"Eh? Why can't you do it yourself?" He whined, "I don't wanna smell like oranges."

"Ace, please? for me?" He gave you a deadpan stare and you spent a solid minute just looking at each other in a silent battle. He then sighed loudly and obviously theatrically, snatching the orange away from you and peeling it (not without some attitude.)

"I don't get it...I've seen you peel oranges so many times. I don't think you actually care about smelling like oranges, somethin' else is definitely going on here!"

Verdict: Lowkey failed, but that's okay. Eventually, it worked!

Deuce

"Deuce, can you peel this for me, please?" You asked the blue eyed male, offering up the orange.

Deuce was pretty fast to jump to the opportunity to peel it for you. He likes when you can depend on him on such tasks that are seemingly mundane, it makes him feel important, that you trust him. Even though it isn't that deep. Grabbing the orange and peeling it with eagerness, you smiled fondly at him.

"Here you go!" He said proudly, handing you a...messily peeled orange. It wasn't very pretty, you could see parts of the orange where he managed to either miss some of the peel or scraped some of the main part with his nail by mistake. But that didn't matter to you.

"Sorry it isn't the best...I should practice peeling oranges so it's perfect next time. Huh? You were just testing me? Don't worry, i'll do anything you ask of me! It's important to work as a team, so you won't have to worry about doing tasks by yourself!"

Verdict: Pass, he's a little angel

Riddle

"Riddle," You said taking him away from his studies, "Will you peel this orange for me?" The red head set down his pen and looked over at you and then the orange, holding out his hand for you to give to him right away.

"Of course. Hand it here." You gladly gave him the orange and he peeled it perfectly, cleanly, and discarding the peels right away and standing up to wash his hands.

"I don't mind doing such things upon your request. It's a healthy snack too, much better than the chips and other things I see Ace and Deuce sneak around...hm? No, I don't mind if you eat your orange while we study. Now... where were we?."

Verdict: passed with flying colors (Already knew about this theory beforehand, but wouldn't let you in on that!)

Jade

It was pretty simple, you handed the orange while he was reading something, and he peeled it without you even asking. He peeled it while reading, handed it back to you, although handing you the peels to throw away yourself. You smiled and gave him a kiss on his cheek, Jade chuckling in response.

"Were you testing me with the orange peel theory? What, are you surprised I know of it's existence? I actually anticipated you would attempt it at some point. I see some of the things you like to look up. How do I know what you search online? ...hehe. That's a secret."

Verdict: Pass! ...with a few extra questionable things!

Floyd

"Haahhh?" He looked at you with his signature look of annoyance and dismay. "What'dya mean you can't peel an orange? I don't wanna either," He whined, going back to...whatever weird thing he gets up to in his free time.

"Floydddd," You pouted, "Please? for me?" He looked at you, then the orange. Then you, then the orange. This went on for a minute.

"Fine. I'll go ask Jade." You fled the scene before you could reap the consequences of your statement, hearing his loud protests from afar and the sound of scrambling to catch up to you...

Verdict: Fail. Big big fail. Sorry Floyd lovers.

Would the TWST Boys Let Me Lick Their Face?

I was thinking about this at work yesterday (don't ask why) so here are my hypotheses

Riddle: One lick max at a time

Trey: Yes. He would think it's weird at first but he would come to accept it pretty quickly

Cater: Only a little bit. To be fair he can't handle any form of affection so this is no different

Ace: He would say no but wouldn't be too mad if I sprang one on him

Deuce: Yes if it makes me happy

Leona: Yes and he would lick me back. Cat behavior

Ruggie: Not a fan of it tbh

Jack: No. Maybe one lick to appease me

Azul: No. It makes him feel silly

Jade: Yes. He finds my desire to lick his face facinating

Floyd: 100% yes. And he'll lick back. He'll get kinda aggressive about it tbh

Kalim: Yes! He thinks its adorable

Jamil: Absolutely not and he is baffled when I ask

Vil: Literally never in a million years

Rook: Absolutely. He enjoys it because he's a little freak

Epel: Maybe a little bit. He thinks it's weird but he also wants to see me happy

Malleus: In a heartbeat. He would just think this is something humans do to show affection

My dumbest TWST headcanons

Yuu: everyone has forgotten their name and preferred pronouns. No one is willing to ask after so long, hence everyone calling them 'prefect' all the time

Grim: he is the reason why no dorm has tried to get Yuu to transfer in. They simply do not want him and unfortunately they are a package deal

Riddle: cannot handle spice. He ate a bell pepper once and started sobbing incoherently. Bell peppers are notoriously non-spicy

Trey: has mom hands in that he can handle hot plates without even flinching because he has permanently ruined the nerve endings in his hands from all of the times he's handled hot baking trays without mitts

Cater: has only like 7 Magicam followers because, as fun as his tags are, they aren't great for the algorithm

Deuce: has been told "that's unfortunate" multiple times after introducing himself. Does not understand why. No one tell him.

Ace: the type to never wait for his food to finish cooling. He burns his tongue at least once a day. He will never learn. Nor will he ever actually taste anything he puts in his mouth. Uses this for bets ("bet you that I can eat *insert the most disgusting concoction ever*" "don't...")

Leona: the entire school has a group chat devoted to the most insane places they've found Leona sleeping. Nothing has managed to top the time someone spotted him curled up in a cauldron that the first years were about to use for Alchemy. (Ruggie has tried to bribe his way into this group chat multiple times but everyone is too scared of Leona to give it to him)

Ruggie: the type to dump trauma on you without realizing it's messed up. Jack asked him once "Where'd you get that" and pointed to a scar and Ruggie was like "oh yeah that's from the time a guy stabbed me" and Jack has never asked him anything since

Jack: complains constantly about how big his tail is because it keeps wagging and giving away his tsundere-ness. Wants a little tail he can stuff into his pant legs to hide it

Azul: his glasses are fake. He thinks they make him look intimidating

Jade: will make fun of people for yawning in front of him. ("Scandalous" "????") He refuses to explain

Floyd: bites people he likes. Moray eel bites can cause paralysis and even beyond that his teeth are wicked sharp. This has caused several misunderstandings in his life

Kalim: everyone know's he's coming because all of his jewelry clink against each other. Like a cat with a bell on its collar. There is a betting ring about whether Jamil planned for this or if it's just how Kalim is that has spread schoolwide

Jamil: has absolutely responded to Kalim saying "Treat spiders the way you want to be treated" with "Killed without hesitation". Unironically

Vil: has accidentally cursed his own food several times. Never anything serious, but you would think it was with the expression of utter horror on his face every time

Rook: is the one in class to deal with bugs. He will pull a hairband out of his pocket (saved for this very occasion, or in the horrible case that Vil's hair tie might snap) and snipe the bug out of midair

Epel: constantly tries to get away with breaking rules right under Vil's nose. Out of spite. He has yet to succeed, but insists he WILL. One day. He will not

Idia: has lamented sending his tablet to class several times because he can't play some of his favorite games when it's away. Does not seem to realize that he would not be able to play those games while in class anyways

Ortho: has programmed idle animations

Malleus: his horns constantly hit the top of doorways. The entire room will go very quiet when this happens because they're scared if they breathe they will laugh and they Can Not Laugh At Malleus Draconia

Lilia: upon finding out his true age, the first question he is always asked is how his cooking is seriously "like that"

Silver: will wake up, find a miscellaneous animal sleeping on him, and go back to sleep because he would rather die than wake up the poor thing

Sebek: banned from the school library. There is no librarian so it literally doesn't change anything there's no one to enforce it but he still won't go in on principle

Crowley: has submitted a tax form with simply the word "No" on it. Is not sure why it didn't work

Crewel: messed up a potion once in front of a class. Swore everyone to secrecy about it. It is the only secret that has not spread through the school

Trein: has been called by his cat's name more than once

Vargas: students are often late to things because "Coach Vargas is hunting students for sport again :( ughhhh"

Sam: will trip students he doesn't like over 'loose floorboards'

Note: not all characters are in this list. If I didn’t add a character it’s either cause I had nothing of substance to say about them or I don’t know the character enough to make a proper headcanon. Also if I say something wrong I’m sorry I’m not a connoisseur I just do what I get.

Riddle Rosehearts: As much as I want him to, and I think he would actually benefit from it, he wouldn’t. Especially pre overblot but also post. And it’s more than it’s against the rules. All he knows about marijuana is what he’s learned from the anti drug PSA’s his moms had him watch. And he hates the smell. And his fragile lungs can’t take smoke. And he doesn’t trust edibles or like the taste. So, as much as I want him to just give it a chance and chill tf out, it’s a firm no.

Trey Clover: He’s impartial. Doesn’t like smoking, or getting high in general but he doesn’t have anything against others doing it. May smoke in group settings but rarely. He will 100% make some fire weed brownies if you ask. Also, number one guy to be with if you get the munchies.

Cater Diamond: I think he’s tried it, had a bad high, and never touched the stuff again. Might be convinced to try again with some close friends but only if they know what they’re doing. Also, acts like he knows what he’s doing but ends up hacking up a lung.

Ace Trappola: Yeah why not. He’s down to try anything once. Actually likes being high with people, like him and Deuce and Yuu have reg smoke sessions and he loves it. Just likes the feeling idk. I don’t think he smokes alone tho. Likes flavored pens.

Deuce Spade: Will attend every smoke session and get a second hand high but will rarely actually participate. He thinks he has to be the responsible one while Yuu and Ace get high off their asses. But he’s not against smoking a little every once in awhile.

Leona Kingscholar: For sure dude. Someone is almost always on something in Savanaclaw so he’s been around his fair share and tried a couple things. Doesn’t like the smell from joints cause yk beast man heightened everything. So he prefers edibles or pens. Pens still stink to him but not as bad. Casual stoner. It helps him sleep when everyone in his dorm is all riled up over nothing. Gave Ruggie his first edible but was not happy when he had to take care of him after he greened out. (I have so many nsfw thoughts about Leona and smoking with Yuu omg don’t)

Ruggie Bucchi: Like I said, first time he had an edible he greened out. In his defense, the dosage was way too much. Leona kinda forgot he wasn’t as tolerant as him. He didn’t really want to do it again after that but he figured out smoking was easier cause he could gage where he was better. So now he’s a lil stoner. High Ruggie = ravenous Ruggie. Like Fr you’d think this kid was starving the way he was shoveling shredded cheese into his mouth, straight out the bag.

Azul Ashengrotto: Just gonna make a blanket statement now, none of the mer students smoke. They aren’t technically supposed to have lungs and filling those lungs with smoke is just painful. So he doesn’t smoke. He’ll do an edible every so often, usually to help him sleep, but that’s it. IS the campus dealer tho. He knows a guy. He knows quite a few guys actually. Hooks everyone up, for a price.

Jade Leech: Never has, never will. Has absolutely no interest in it. Doesn’t like not being in control of himself. Will be around when others get high though, he thinks it’s hilarious. Especially when people do too much and get sick.

Floyd Leech: Complete opposite of his brother. Will get high anytime, anywhere, with anyone. It hurts to smoke, like I said previously, but that doesn’t mean he isn’t trying. It’s actually getting better. He also thinks smoking looks cooler than edibles. High Floyd is a very cuddly monster. Will squeeze anyone who gets close enough. Just be thankful that he’s too out of it to use his full strength.

Vil Schoenheit: Will loudly advocate against it and ban his dorm from doing it but probably has a secret stash somewhere. Only Rook knows about it. He’s stressed ok?! You try being a famous actor/model/fairest in the land.

Epel Felmier: My boy wants to. He really does. He thinks it looks so cool, and if Yuu can do it so can he! But the smoke burns his lungs and edibles taste bad. But that doesn’t stop him from trying!

Idia Shroud: OKAY so there are two ways I could write this. Cannon how he probably is, or headcannon how I want him to be and see him as. Cannon, he probably talks a big game but actually knows jack shit about drugs of any kind. And is kinda scared to try. But he will, to seem cool. Ends up coughing up his heart but he tried and that’s what counts. And now he can officially say he’s ‘done weed’. Headcannon, Idia as a little loner stoner. It calms his nerves and makes it easier to talk to people. Usually if he’s out of his dorm, he’s high. He’s also high when he’s in his dorm. It helps him sleep and he thinks better with a lil weed in his system. May have developed a small codependency but that’s okay(no it’s not seek help). Mr wake and bake.

Malleus Draconia: Weed? Like, dandelions? What? He’s so confused when someone offers. Why would you smoke weeds? Lilia has to explain it to him three different ways before he gets it. He’ll try, but please give him an edible. It’s for your own safety. His lungs could probably take the smoke but if he ends up taking a hit too big he will cough up flames and not little ones. Very spacey once he’s high. Will stair at the ceiling for hours and say absolutely nothing.

Lilia Vanrouge: Has, will, wants to rn actually. Lilia lived through the 70s, he’s done almost every drug known to man, and probably some not yet known, at least once. Why not? He can take it. Doesn’t smoke often but also does? Idk how to explain it. Likes flavored cartridges more than anything else. The weirdo who fucks with cotton candy. He gets bad cotton mouth tho so… I mean, if you believe in the vampire theory like I do…👀

Silver: The first time he smoked was with his dad. He walked in on Lilia and a bong when he was like 15 and Lilia was like cmon m’boy. Now, he’s concerned that Lilia wasn’t more careful and exposed him so young but that also means he has an okay relationship with weed. Like, he’s able to make his decision firmly due to plenty of experimentation. He hates smoking and edibles generally but will absolutely body some weed brownies.

Yuu creates a crime scene with the Grimace shake to freak out the First Years, who were coming over for a sleepover. They get Grim and the ghosts in on it, too.

⚠️Another attempt at writing conventional horror, be warned!

So, when the First Years walk in, they see that the lobby is “destroyed” with Yuu hanging by the foot upside down, their mouth dripping with some sort of purple liquid. (Keep in mind, it’s late at night, so the First Years can’t see well.

Within the kitchen, is Grim “drowning” in the sink filled with purple liquid. It’s overflowing. Everything is bathed in this weird purple liquid.

Ace kneels down to taste it.

Epel: What the FUCK is wrong with you?! You’re gonna die!

Jack: Holy shit. Holy shit, oh my Sevens, what the fuck, Ace.

Deuce, panicking: So, what is it?!

Ace: It’s…it tastes like a milkshake? This stuff tastes good, actually.

Sebek: …Ace, walk towards us very slowly.

Ace: ???

Like a dumbass, Ace turns around.

There’s this large purple blob behind him, dripping in that “liquid”.

Epel: RUN!!!!

The First years starts running, completely unaware that Yuu is missing from the lobby. They’re forced to run upstairs, as the purple blob stops chasing them once they come to the second floor.

It’s worse, actually. The entire hallway was covered in the purple shake. There was only one door open, with a dim light leaking from the crack.

Jack: We should go back.

Ace: NO? WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU?!

Sebek: And run into the monster?! Do you have a DEATH WISH?!

Deuce: I just want to get out of here…what happened here??

Epel: Fuck it, it’s either the room or the monster downstairs. I’m taking my chances.

They walk in. The room is lit with candles. There’s Yuu, purple drag marks. They’re laid on the center of the room, a cirlce of candles around them.

The words, “Happy Birthday Grimace” is written on the walls.

Jack hesitantly steps forward, calling Yuu’s name. Suddenly, Yuu jerks up, causing Ace to scream. They open their mouth, the purple shake spilling from their mouth. All they say is a bunch of garbled nonsense, more of the shake spilling from their mouth.

Someone faints, and it’s a wonder who does. Then, the lights turn on and the Ramshackle residents laughing their asses off at the First Years.

Epel: *Starts beating the shit out of Yuu* WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU?? I HATE YOU SO MUCH!

Sebek: Stupid human!!! Did you know how worried we were!?

Jack: Where did you even get this idea?!

Grim: My henchman had this trend about some monster thing-

Yuu: Taste bud!

Grim: Whatever, but people were trying it and then “died”.

Deuce: All of this for a sick joke?! That’s messed up!

Azul has his old Occtopot in the Vault where ge keeps his contracts, he still secretly uses it when he is overwhelmed or needs space.

I believe that his mother has tons of photos of him as a kid, who wouldn't take photos of him with such chubby cheeks. Azul of course confiscated these photos and hid them. Floyd and Jade are both on the hunt for these photos for both the amusement and the blackmail potential.

Yuu also learned of these photos and joined forces with the twins to hunt them down, though they went over Azul's head and contacted his mother directly, they have yet to share these photos with the twins.

Azul was Horrified when his mother called him and told him he needed to get his shit together and propose to "that wonderfully being named Yuu", especially after his mother explained they had called her and they gushed over his childhood and baby photos together.

Floyd is a little shit. He has randomly bit people on multiple occasions. His favorite people to bite are Golfishie Riddle and Shrimpy Yuu.

The game confirms he is prone to random mood swings, Jade straight up says so, so I believe he just gets in a random mood and starts bitting the shit out of people, Golfishie and Shrimpy are his favorites because their reactions are really amusing.

Floyd also really loves it if Yuu is into Mariene Biology, he gets extremely upset if he sees any videos or merch of other eel's though.

Everyone's opinion are mixed on Jade, half the school finds him to be calm collected and very mature especially compared to his brother and some find him to be incredibly eerie and unsettling like there is a darkness under the serface where he is just as Unhinged as Floyd he is just more subtle about his emotions and getting revenge on those who wronged him.

Though when doing business everyone prefers to business with Jade out of the Octavinelle Trio.

We all know the stubborn king can be impatient and irritable so the great 7 decided to test him more when they gave him a s/o who forgets everything all the time.

He does this all the time that whenever you’d call him and he already has default questions he’d ask you.

“Where did you last see it?” “What were you doing last?” “When was the last time you saw it?” “Who were you last with?” “Did you retrace your steps?”

Before you could even ask him, your questions were already answered.

Thinks it’s cute and funny sometimes that you forget.

Like whenever you’d put a pencil behind your ear and then proceed to look for it 2 minutes later, he’d just watch you for a bit looking confused and laugh, then he’d tell you it was on your ear

Thinks it’s hilarious when you don’t remember irrelevant people’s names. The headmage of RSA went to greet you one time and your response was “Sorry, who are you?” you meant well but it was just funny

He usually lets Ruggie deal with his responsibilities, but you? No. He’s responsible for you, it’s rare that the students of NRC sees Leona far from you, he’s always beside you or behind you.

He snapped at you one time but never again, he was EXTREMELY MOODY that day so he tells you to go piss off and bother Ruggie or someone else instead.

He took a long ass nap and when he woke up the next morning he thought you probably have forgotten about it by now, breaking news you didn’t.

Leona started noticing you never came to him to ask questions whenever you forget about something, and when he was around you dont even speak or come near him that much. Strike 1.

He was on edge the whole day, he told Ruggie he wasn’t upset or anxious but his tail betrayed him when it kept swinging and hitting the floor making a thumping noise.

He told Ruggie to go get you, and when you arrived you didn’t even look him in the eye, strike 2, he called out to you and instead of walking towards him you asked him “why?” Strike 3.

He was now fully aware that you in fact DID NOT forget about him yelling at you yesterday. He stood up, went towards you, carried you like a sack on his shoulder and went back under the tree he was sitting at.

He sat down, sat YOU down infront of him and dragged you down to lay with him, he curled up against you and apologized. You apologized for being a pain but he stopped you and told you that you shouldn’t.

Was so worried he drove you away from him. Was 10x more clingy and controlled his temper a lot more, only around you of course, he couldn’t give a single flying fuck about losing his cool with other people.

Would kill people who snap at you for being forgetful, figuratively and/or literally depending if they beg you for forgiveness or not.

When you start talking badly about yourself for being forgetful or if you get stressed when you forget things, he’d calm you down by forcing you to take a nap with him and tell you that you two will find it when you wake up.

Ace Trappola

He wouldn’t be annoyed at all, honestly this is nothing compared to the ridiculous rules at the Heartslabyul dormitory.

He doesn’t really remember much either, he tends to forget things he finds uninteresting or unimportant too so he understands what you feel.

He’d help you find whatever or whoever you’re looking for, cuz if you ask him if he remembers he probably say he doesn’t, because he really doesn’t.

Thinks it’s funny whenever you two ask each other the same question in unison when you both forgot about something.

Since he’s the one who remembers more at classes, he helps you by going through the textbook to highlight important words so it’s easy for you to remember.

He knows it’s a struggle to remember what you review before a test so he takes the time out of his day to highlight words for you so it’s easier to remember.

Always takes it lightly when you forget about stuff, and just helps you find them but there was one time where he got angry at you. It was winter, He lended you his jacket while heading to school since you forgot yours, he was already snappy cuz Riddle gave him a scolding that morning.

He tells you to put it in your bag when you get to class, cuz if you forget it somewhere, both of you are going to have to go home freezing cold. You said yes and you two went your separate ways into your first classes for the day.

When the bell rang, he just got out from yet another scolding from one of the teachers, he had a bad day, he just wants to go home and go to bed. But he remembers he still has to wait for you. So he did.

When you got there, he told you to take out the jacket he gave you from your bag so you two can use it as head cover since it was snowing really bad. The moment your smile dropped he knew, and he let out a frustrated groan.

“You lost it didn’t you?” He asked you angrily, you apologized and you told him you’d go look for it but he snapped at you telling you to not go cuz it’s pointless, telling you that you wouldn’t remember where you left it even if he’d hit you in the head.

He walked home on his own, left you there. When he got back home to Heartslabyul he took a warm bath to calm him down. After he’s cleared his head, he realized it wasn’t fair that he snapped at you because HE had a bad day…so he got out of the bath, put some clothes on and went to call you.

You didn’t pick up, he thought it was fair, since he was a jerk anyway. He laid on his bed thinking about how he’d apologize to you tomorrow when Deuce came back from school too. After Heys have been exchanged he asked Ace if you had been taking extra classes, ace said no and asked why, Deuce told him he still saw you in your classroom when he was about to leave.

Ace stood up immediately, it was so cold out, why were you still at school? He grabbed his coat, put on a beanie, scarf and gloves and brought extra for you. He ran to go back to NRC, when he got there you were roaming the hallways, so he ran up to you scolding for staying there for that long. Then he noticed that you were clutching on to his jacket that he lend you this morning.

You were so frustrated with your forgetfulness you started crying while apologizing for being the reason why he got mad, He felt like he just shattered when he saw you like that, he gave you the tightest hug ever and told you it wasn’t your fault, and that he was sorry for being a jerk to you earlier. You two went home and he slept over at Ramshackle with you because he feels really bad for what he did he couldn’t leave you alone.

He’d repeat many mistakes, but not that one, he made sure he never repeated that one ever again, he always reassures you that you’re not a burden and that he’s not mad or annoyed with you when you forget things.

Deuce Spade

His patience capacity is literally so long it’s VERY rare that he’d be annoyed by you forgetting things

Would be so sweet about it too, whenever you’d call his name or go up to him telling him that you lost something, he would tell you that it was okay and that he’s gonna help you find it.

Would remember things for you, like where you put down your keys last, where you were about to go for the day, errand you needed to run, etc.

Doesn’t like you to fuss and get stressed over losing / misplacing / forgetting something so whenever you’d ask he doesn’t panic, instead he tells you to calm down so you two can retrace your steps

Is literally so proud of you when you remember something on your own, he’d smile brightly and praise you for remembering little things. He just loves you that much.

Would threaten to beat a guy up if they ever even think about making you feel bad for forgetting something.

Helps you with school work, though he’s struggling himself he knows that he probably remembers most out of the two of you.

He never got upset over you forgetting things, but there was this one big misunderstanding between you two a while back, NRC was going to visit RSA for a joint school event, and everyone was busy packing.

He was in Ramshackle with you, packing your things before he went back to Heartslabyul to pack his things cuz he knows you might forget important stuff.

When he was about to leave he told you which part of the school you needed to wait until they arrive so you can wait for the bus together, he also reminded Grimm but unfortunately Grimm was busy packing tuna.

Came the next day, everyone was already on the bus but you were nowhere to be found, Deuce excused himself to his dorm leader, telling him he’ll just take the next one with you, Riddle allowed it. And Deuce got off, he was worried so he searched the whole campus for you while carrying his bags.

He found you wondering around in a hallway and he was quick to approach and scold you about worrying him, turns out you were already frustrated from your own forgetfulness, but you didn’t tell him and just apologized.

He dragged you to where you were supposed to be and neither of you uttered a word, the bus came you two got on and sat down. Grimm sat on your lap asleep, you played with his ears so hoping you stress would be relieved but it didn’t.

It was too quiet and Deuce noticed that, he glanced at you to see you frustratedly fiddling with the ends of your sleeve, he sighed grabbed one of your hand and kissed the back of it.

He apologized for lashing out on you, explaining that he was just really worried, you let your head rest on his shoulder and also apologized for worrying him, he hums and kissed the crown of your head. You two feel asleep until you got RSA.

He always makes sure to tell you that he wasn’t angry at you, and that he watches his tone when speaking to you, so you don’t think that, Deuce would always resolve conflicts and misunderstandings between you two immediately.

Jamil Viper

He’s been taking care of Kalim all his life, you think he’d still be fazed by your forgetfulness? Not even in the slightest.

Plus he’s a virgo male for god’s sake you wouldn’t even know what’s going on in his head since his default face is 😐

Would always assure you isn’t mad tho.

Like Deuce, he’d remember things for you, but in his case he’d remember EVERYTHING for you.

What class do you have next? He knows where that is, and he’ll take you there

You didn’t drink water today cuz you forgot? No that’s not possible he always reminds you to.

Where did you put your phone down? He’s got it, he’d pick it up whenever you put it down and forget it.

Would find it cute that you forget most people’s names but not his, that means he’s left an unforgettable impression on you, which he still wonders what he did for you not to forget his name.

When he asked you your favorite food he was prepared to be met with a “I forgot” but surprisingly you told him, and he was happy you remember it cuz now he has something to cook for you.

When you misplace something the conversation usually goes like this: “Jamil do you know where I put my—“ “It’s in the bottom drawer of your cabinet” “I didn’t even say what it was” “was it your favorite hoodie that you stole from me?” “….yes.” “See? I knew” “okay thx love you” “love you too *continues what he was doing”

Whenever he’d feel like he’d reach his breaking point, he steps back and calms himself down before he starts an unnecessary argument.

He started doing that because he snapped at you by accident one time and he still beats himself up for saying the things that he did. He was having an extra stressful day because of school work and Kalim’s shenanigans. He had to deal with people Kalim accidentally offended by his carelessness with his words.

He had a pounding headache after defusing the situation and it wasn’t over cuz he still had school work to take care of, little did he know Kalim invited you because he knows you’re able to calm Jamil down when he feels stressed

But it turned out to be opposite this time, when he heard the knocks on his door it already pissed him off, so when he heard your voice call out to him his automatic thought was that you forgotten about something again.

He let out a loud frustrated groan so you were taken a back and you asked what was wrong. He immediately turned to you, glaring, and told you that it was you, he told you to stop being stupid and remember things on your own because he’s not you caretaker, he ranted about all the things he’s been through today and told you to never come to him again.

His words were only anger fueled, you knew that…but it still hurt a lot, he said it with such spite that it stung like venom so you only responded with a small ‘sorry’ and you closed his door and left Scarabia without uttering another word.

You didn’t see each other for a whole 3 days, you avoided running into him, looking at him, just avoided him in general thinking he was still mad at you. He noticed this because whenever he’d walk up to you, you’d turn around or walk right pass him.

He felt that you needed space and he gave it to you but he really did start to miss you, he knew about the things he said, he knew how it must’ve made you feel, it sickens him to his stomach that you had to hear that coming from him of all people.

Jamil couldn’t sleep at night, and this was the last time because he got up and went to your dormitory. He had to fix this, he threw pebbles at your window to get your attention, and it did. You poked your head at the window to see him standing there, you were taken aback cuz it was so late, so you went down and met him outside.

You hurriedly ask what he was doing out here so late and all he did in response was drop his head on your shoulder. He wanted to pull you close but he chose not to yet. He apologized and told you that he never meant all those horrible things, when you started crying he pulled you closer to him peppering kisses on your shoulder mumbling i love yous and I’m sorrys. He slept there for the night making up for all those days he couldn’t hold you.

When he remembers that memory and how he hurt you, he’d suddenly go up to you and hug you, reminding you that he loves you and pressing butterfly kisses on your cheek, just resting against you, until he forgets about it again.

hello :) may i request scenarios of a reader who is the prefect of ramshackle, so from another world, who immediately starts excelling in their classes-

catch is, they seem to never be studying and they’re very laid back, but they still get top grades (higher or even as high as riddle/azul)

with riddle, azul, deuce and whoever else seems very,,, academically competitive

i’m such a sucker for the academic rivals trope, especially when one of them is trying so hard while the other seems to not try at all

Riddle:

-I don't think he would mind too much

-You're oddly smart for being from another world, and you don't need to spend time studying? Goof for you

-That means he doesn't have to spend countless hours tutoring ADeuce, right?

-He's actually quite thankful that you're around to keep those in his dorm up to the standards he holds

-He is a little jealous that you don't have to spend hours hunched over a desk studying, but he tries to brush it off to the best of his ability 

-That is, until you surpass him in exams

-He's not so low as to try to sabotage you, but he cant deny the envy that runs through his veins

-How? You were from another world. If anything, you should have the disadvantage. He goes back to his dorm, vanishing into his room to study more to make sure that he gets above you next time

-He finds himself making excuses as to why you were so smart. Perhaps your world was similar? Maybe you were getting extra notes or amended lessons due to your circumstances? Perhaps you had some sort of magic or trick that allowed you to see the answers for the tests?!

-He can't get you out of his head

-Eventually he tries to bring it up casually, the bite in his tone enough of an indication what was happening. Of course, you tease him and explain that you never needed to study

-As someone who spent most of his life studying, he's baffled. He was intelligent, sure, but he was trained to be and you... weren't

-Eventually he can't stop thinking about you and your words. At some point or another, he finds himself looking forward to seeing your name so high up, the jealousy slowly dissipating. When they switch places, his name on top, yours on top the next, his, yours, his, yours. 

-He found himself staring at the two names, accidentally reading off your first name paired with his

-(Name) Rosehearts

-His face flushes and he scurries away from the board, away from Trey calling out for him, confused as to why his Dorm Leader had run off despite getting the highest score. 

-He was inexperienced, but he was not naïve. He knew what feelings he had developed for you.

-And he was sweating, losing his mind. This was not supposed to happen at all. 

The redheaded boy practically collapses next to you on the couch in Heartslabyul's common room, despite trying to make it appear dignified. You chuckle, putting your phone down as he sighs, pinching at the bridge of his nose. 

"Tough day?" You question him, sitting back as he unclips the crown from his hair and holds it in his lap, running his gloved thumbs over the sleek surface. 

"Absolutely. Can you control those two for once?" Laughing, you go to fix the piece of hair that had been displaced from the crown, making Riddle stiffen. You notice and pull your hands back, as if burned. 

"I-I'm sorry," You mumble. "Touching, right...Right."

Riddle frowns, swallowing the embarrassed lump that formed in his throat. He longed to feel your warmth, to feel your soft touches holding his face in both your hands, wiping his stressed tears away with your thumbs after a long day. To curl into your chest, arms wrapped around your waist and hold you close late at night rather than sleeping alone in his cold bed. To kiss you when you two part for classes, to hold your hand at each and every Unbirthday party, to hug you close, bury his face in the crook of your neck and to never, ever let go. 

You gave him a hug once. 

He'd recoiled and snapped, being unused to the affection. It was stifling to him, a realization that made him cry softly into his pillow that night. You promised to not touch him again, well aware of what he'd been through. 

"You can..." He mumbles, shaky hand reaching for your own, the butterflies now creeping through his entire system, making his stomach turn as if he was sick and his head all fuzzy. His face was a bright red as he inched his shaking, gloved hand forward. You nod, resting your hand on top of his own. 

"Is this good?" 

He nodded, despite feeling that familiar, claustrophobic feeling rise in his chest. 

"We can stop," You went to take your hand away from his and he shakes his head. 

"Keep it," He says much too quickly, stumbling over his words. "Please."

You nod, and Riddle knows that this little bit of overwhelming warmth is not nearly enough for now. He still longs to hold you, to have you hold him. 

But for now, your hand over his was enough.  

Deuce Spade:

-He was so thankful to have you as a friend. 

-He didn't think he was too jealous until he saw that you just... never had to study

-He was a little upset, honestly. 

-I mean, spending hours upon hours trying to understand a single concept that most people learned in middle school? Countless days hunched over a desk and staring at a problem until frustrated tears spill from his eyes?

-And you can just... do it. No effort involved. No struggling at all and you're practically outranking his own Dorm Head....

-He tries not to hold it against you, but he can't fight the feeling of resentment seeing your perfect test scores, and then watching you do practically nothing before the day of the test

-Unlike the other three, I think he would actually have a talk with you about it.

-You're one of his closest friends, and he hates the feeling of annoyance that grows in his heart whenever test season rolls around

-He asks for your help, or at least for tricks to pick up the information better

-He's so earnest that you can't find it in you to tease him

-So you study. And you study for hours, at every opportunity. You want him to succeed, especially after seeing his excited reaction when he got a 90 on a potions exam

-Flash cards, listening exercises...

-Deuce felt overwhelmed by the amount of effort you put into helping him, how you would often turn down plans with other friends to help him, the amount of money you would spend on materials to help him keep up, how you wouldn't give up on him, even when he snapped a few times in frustration (and then proceeded to apologize profusely)

-Ace pointed it out. Deuce had crushes before, but none of them were so... intense. He had thought you were attractive at first, and then as you two grew closer those feelings grew as well. Seeing how far you were willing to go for him was what made him decide that he had to do something

"Prefect!" He practically shouts, running and pushing past the other students in the hallway. "I did it!" 

"You did?!" You shout excitedly. He nods, a grin on is face. He holds up a slightly crinkled paper, reading '100' at the top. 

He had struggled the most with history, you both knew that. He never got anything above a 70 on one of Trein's tests. You smile and laugh, pulling him in for a hug, bouncing up and down and making the boy jump too, albeit a little embarrassed to be doing so in the middle of a crowded hallway. 

He can't help but wrap his arms around your shoulders, holding you close for a few moments, feeling your warmth through both of your uniforms. A warmth he'd felt many times before, and a warmth he will never get enough of. You would bump against his leg during sleepovers, play fight with him, play with his hair and style it in ways that you thought were hilarious. 

He loved every second of it. 

"Deuce?" He didn't realize you had stopped jumping and that he had been holding you for a moment, quickly backing away with a flushed face. 

"Sorry! I got a little excited," He chuckles nervously, meeting your eyes and grinning. 

"I'm so proud of you!" There it was. His face went alight as he looked away, stammering muffled 'thank you's and 'it's because you helped's. "Come on, let's celebrate! Floyd gave Ace a bunch of vouchers for Mostro because he kicked his ass at practice!"

Deuce smiles and links his arm in yours, looking down at you as you tell some story about your friend and the eel, unconsciously squeezing your arm a little tighter. 

"Thank you, (Name)."

Azul:

-I think he would be the most bothered by it

-He spent most of his life being told that he was dumb, and now he finally had physical proof that he was among the smartest in his school. He could wave those ranking paper in the air, pin them to his wall, do anything to them but at least they were there. At least he could see that he was not dumb

-And then you came along. And he was no longer at the top of the class. 

-He was now second best in the class

-While he had no problem being second best, as least, not as much of a problem as many in the school would have, it still hurt

-Especially knowing that you did practically nothing to get where you were

-He worked his (metaphorical) mer-ass off, days of perfecting his magic and his craft, of finding any way to get ahold of the best notes to get the best scores

-And then this magicless student strolls along and gets to be in the top of the class

-He tries to find out your tricks, sending the twins after you. They come back and report that you literally do... nothing. You go to class, listen to the lectures, then go home and do something else. No notes, no reviewing, nothing.

-He was already peeved, brainstorming ways to distract you enough to bomb at least one exam

-Nothing ever worked.   

-When you outsmarted him during his overblot? His self-esteem plummeted

-You felt bad and so, you offered to help him repair the dorm

-He vehemently denied, not wanting to feel as if he was your own little charity. The more you two talked, the more you helped him find out new promotions and deals for the lounge, he'd decided that you were simply kind

-He fell for you instantly

You two sit on the couch in the lounge, with Azul leaning against the side, paperwork balanced on a clipboard resting on the arm of the couch. He taps his pen to his lips a few times, eyebrows furrowed on his forehead as his lips rest against the end. He shed his coat and tie, trying to find a smidge of comfort despite not being in his pyjamas like he'd liked. The clock read 11:46 pm, and the poor boy still had a pile of paperwork to go through. 

"Need help?"

"No thanks..." He sighs, pushing his glasses up to his forehead and pinching the bridge of his nose, sighing. He reaches for his glasses and curses to himself. You look over, noticing the intense smudges on the lenses, likely from his ungloved hands. You watch as he fumbles to untuck the end of his dress shirt to wipe them off and you slowly take them, wiping them down with one of the actual lens cloths you'd learned to carry around upon seeing how often he smudged them- proof of his inexperience with things on his face all the time. 

You wipe them down, holding them up to the light every once in a while as Azul continues to scribble away, reaching out and sliding the paper on the desk before moving on to the next. You mumble his name, breaking the silence as he turns to you. You push his tousled hair out of his eyes, making him gulp as heat rises to his face at the tenderness and affection held in the action. 

You slowly slip the glasses onto his face and the mer allowed his eyes to close for a moment as to not see how close your faces had gotten. He didn't need to see you to feel your warm breath fan across his cheeks. Your hands rest on the sides of his face for a moment and he can't find it in him to open his eyes, despite how his mind is screaming at him to just do it. That this is what he was waiting for this entire time.

You were so, so heartbreakingly gentle with him. So gentle that it made him want to melt into your arms and never leave. It was a kindness he had only received from his mother and grandmother, nobody else had ever dared to get go close to him in such a way, only pulling at his limbs despite his panicked pleas. 

He opened his eyes once you pulled away, looking back down at his paperwork. You lay back on the couch, your legs over his lap as he watches you mumble what he assumes to be a 'goodnight' and closing your eyes, drifting off to sleep due to the late hour. 

He smiles, resting his hand on your knee as his other continues to write, listening to your even breaths as he takes his glasses off, lightly tossing his things to the desk and leaning his head back, following you into a deep, well-needed sleep. 

Jamil:

-He was resentful of you at first

Jamil hums monotonously, drying off the dishes and whisking them away to their proper places in the kitchen. It was the night after one of Scarabia's infamous parties. Most of the students were either back in their rooms or asleep in the common room, and both of you knew that you would have to go around and wake them up, sending them to their proper places so you could clean up for the next day. 

The night air in the dorm was chilly. Of course, there was a spell that regulated the dorm's temperature, but it seemed as if most of the residents were okay with the extreme heat in the day being balanced with the extreme cold. You shiver, pushing your arms further into the warm water that spilled from the faucet. 

You hear a snicker from beside you and you turn to pout at the boy, who shrugs. 

"How does it feel to be the cold one for once?"

"Not funny," You deadpan.

"Serves you right for making fun of me in the snow."

"It was one time," You argue, handing him another cleaned plate. He smirks and pauses, dropping the plate and pulling his sweatshirt over his head, revealing his worn t-shirt underneath. You scrunch your nose and he frowns.

"What if you get too hot?" He retorts, rolling his eyes. 

"Then you roll up the sleeves!" You laugh and put on the sweatshirt, feeling the lingering warm cover your entire torso. "This is nice."

He stays silent, busying himself with the rest of the dishes. He hoped that you wouldn't notice the slight quiver of his hands or how he fought the urge to glance back at you, biting the inside of his cheeks as he put the rest of them away. 

He was stronger than this. He had to hide his emotions from the very start, put on a nonchalant mask. How dare you break it so easily? He huffs, lost in his own thoughts. You smile. 

"You can have it back, you know?"

"No," He says quickly, smirking and walking towards you slowly, pulling the hoodie up and over your head, trailing his warm, calloused fingers down your cheeks, you gasp as you feel him trace his hands along your jawline. 

Truthfully, he was trying to hide his own expression. His determination to mess with you outweighed the butterflies in his stomach. He licked his lips, leaning in further as his hands rested on the sweatshirt, knuckles brushing the nape of your neck. You sighed and he chuckled, leaning in until your noses were nearly touching. 

And he grabbed the strings.

And yanked as hard as he could, tying them together deftly and laughing as you yelped and scrambled to untie yourself.

He laughs loudly, turning on his heel to leave the room and waving (not that you could see it).

Since I am on my period, I decided to make some head-canons about it and make it everyone's business ^.^

But if you plead with him a bit, he'll let it slide and won't complain as much if you decide to snack on some chips. Riddle will also be more lenient towards you, meaning that if you're struggling with work or club activities, he won't be too harsh on you and advise you to just relax.

• Trey has a younger sister, he has definitely dealt with periods before and, like Riddle, he will get you anything that you need. Will definitely use this as an excuse to bake you all the sweets you can eat, but he'll also make sure you brush your teeth properly. Trey doesn't want you to get a cavity now. He's not that irresponsible.

• Living with two older sisters, Cater has some experience when it comes to periods. He will tease you by sending a pic of a piece of styrofoam with the caption "is this what you need?" while getting you the stuff you actually asked for. Cater carries around an "emergency period" kit in his school bag, so if shark week hits unexpectantly, all you need to do is go over the best person in the world and you'll be taken care of. You can always rely on Cater.

• Sometimes Ace likes to pretend he doesn't know what a period is just to be an asshole. If you ask him to get some supplies for you, he can and will complain about how much you owe him for it because it's embarrassing. Whenever you both hangout, Ace will chill out in another room and just text you if he wants to talk with you, he'll also occasionally toss chocolate bars and water at you if he feels like "feeding the beast" in his words. And if your nice to him, he'll take pity on you and give you a rough massage. Isn't he just the greatest?

• Deuce grew up with a single mother, he had to do the tampon/pad run whenever she ran out and was stuck in the bathroom. You can bet he will make sure you are as comfortable as possible and get you everything you need, heck, he'll even take over any responsibilities that you have, including your homework please stop him. Will get into an argument with Ace because he thinks it's funny how Deuce is practically your personal maid.

Savanaclaw:

• Leona will not give one singular fuck about your period, or at least only half a fuck since the scent of menstrual blood bothers his delicate, princely nose. If you ask if he could spare some money so that you can get more tampons/pads, he'll say no to your face but will have Ruggie go get you what you need (he is not stepping outside his room just to get Tylenol, be real). But Leona will show mercy towards you and let you take naps in his room which is just an excuse to use you as a pillow.

• Ruggie is also someone who won't really care if he finds out that it's that time of the month for you. And if he is your last resort and your so desperate, just promise to pay him and he'll get everything that you need maybe add in a bit of extra cash for the trouble, or donuts, bitches love donuts. Ruggie will tease you whenever you need to lay down when the cramps overcome you, "must suck to be you right now". Also, he won't really be bothered by the smell of menstrual blood, he's smelled worse.

• Jack will come up to you with concern because he smells blood on you and asks if your injured, will get very embarrassed when he realizes that it's just your period. Brotherly instinct takes over and he'll get you a chocolate bar/your favorite period snack and warm water, then act as if he wasn't doing it because he cared or anything, he just didn't like seeing you curled up in a ball during pe but seriously, get up, people are staring.

Octavinelle:

• Merfolk don't have menstrual cycles, so Azul is stumped whenever he finds out that you're menstruating. He's not ignorant on what a period is he had to learn human biology at a certain point in time, but he really doesn't know what to do when your uterus is trying to kill itself. Instead of asking what you need, Azul takes it upon himself to do extensive research on periods, so he knows what exactly to get for you. Why would he do something like that? Well Azul just loves to show just how much he embodies the benevolence of the Sea Witch he wants something from you, run.

• Jade also doesn't know how to deal with you once he finds out that you started your period, but unlike Azul, Jade actually asks you what you need to be comfortable in your trying time. For whatever reason you trust him with this information. Jade does take care of you, although you feel as if there was something else to this, but you're too much in hell to think too deeply.

• Floyd would act as if you were dying. Each and every time you have a period, he will squeeze you and hang off of you because he "doesn't want to lose his shrimpy". Depending on his mood he will either get you what you need, tell you to fuck off, or get you the wrong things like getting the smallest size of tampon/pad or the cheapest brand of chocolate.

Scarabia:

• Kalim is definitely someone who forgets periods are a thing and when he sees you barely holding on, he panics and thinks you're dying. But after telling him what's going on, he'll calm down and want to help in any way that he can. This guy has 40 siblings and most likely bombarded the maids with questions when they were taking tampons, pads, and treats to the Asim kids rooms, he knows what's up. Kalim will insist that you just sit back and relax while he takes notes for you or just straight up do your homework stop him please.

• Jamil has a younger sister who makes periods his problem, he knows the drill. But does he actually want to? Not really. He has so much on his plate that he can't really bother to take care of someone else, however if he sees you looking like your about to keel over and die, he'll step in with a pack of midol and a heating pad.

Pomefiore:

• At first Vil would brush you off whenever he finds out about your period because he has more important things to worry about, but then stops and springs into action because you are on your period and you will get an acne break out if he doesn't step in. Vil will not tolerate a bad diet and will make sure you are eating things that are high in iron. While your grateful that he wants to keep you well, it's also hell. But don't worry, your skin will be flawless and hey, you get a heated blanket out of this.

• Rook knows when your cycle will start before you do and he will send you a period care package filled with all of your favorite things for your period, including some skin care products. You don't even want to know how Rook figured all of this out.

• Epel is mainly grossed out by the blood. Yeah, he's obviously not going to actually see any blood, it's just the thought of it that has him feeling queasy. He'll suck it up for the most part, especially when he sees your discomfort and offers to give you a massage to help soothe the achiness of your body. Epel also gives you drinks with peppermint in it in hopes of settling your nausea.

Ignihyde:

• Not only will Idia not care about your period, he will ignore you so that it won't become his problem. Unless you threaten to unbox one of his special figurines or to delete one of his save files, then he will let you camp out in his room and get you whatever it is you need just leave his things alone please-

• Ortho will notice something is off and will do a full body scan on you, then he'll proceed to air out your business like it's a health class. But not to worry, he made sure to do some quick research about menstrual cycles and will make sure that you are eating well and help you fully relax as if you aren't dying from the inside out.

Diasomnia:

• The only one who would even know to deal with periods in the Diasomnia Foursome is Sebek, however Malleus will definitely do all he can to make sure you feel pampered. He will be extremely concerned when he smells blood on you, thinking that you are severely injured and will try to conjure up a spell to heal you which would be fantastic cause periods suck ass. You unfortunately stop and explain to him that this is normal. Since Malleus has never taken care of a real person before, he struggles a lot to figure out just how to make you feel comfortable. Will bring back a piece of styrofoam to you because Lilia and Cater told him to.

• Lilia will take your health into consideration when finding out you're on your period, he'll whip up a lot of things that are rich in iron and will help sooth those annoying period pukes and poops aren't you the lucky one?. Lilia will also give you a back massage to really work out the soreness of your tender muscles. He starts calling you his little ketchup packet after this.

• Silver thinks you are the bravest person because you explained to him what exactly happens during a period and will do everything he can to get you through it he makes it seem like this is such a serious endeavor. Silver mainly lets you use him a pillow and a heater, pretty much letting you sleep away the aches and pains.

• Sebek will be exasperated with you and argues why he has to do everything for you he doesn't need to do shit for you, he just cares about you but doesn't want to admit it. I want to try a different headcanon format, so this may get messy. I’ll start with another disclaimer, again my personal interpretation and this ISN’T canon, so don’t come after me, anyways let’s head on to his rating and his common traits. Riddle is a solid 6/10 because of his mommy issues but because of how strict he is. Common characteristics include, over-protective, obsessive, clingy, and possessive. Let’s break it down!

Riddle is a strict character; he was raised to be a perfect role model by his mother, which meant having to give up his childhood. While he strives to make up for the damages and live his teenage years peacefully, it’s hard to break out of a routine. He’s obsessive. He monitors and observes your behavior, writes down your reactions, your likes and dislikes, who you’re hanging out with and any information you can offer, he knows. It’s more to get a feel for your character, who you are and how to react. He’ll know what tea you like and he’d serve it when he invites you to his tea parties, offers to tutor you when you fail an exam from a class you don’t share, and more. At first it’s nothing extreme, just normal conversation and small things that make your heart swoon!

Over-protective and possessive, they kinda go together with him. You’re new to this world and he knows that others aren’t so kind. He trusts Ace and Deuce, but he can’t trust the others not with a task this great! “Word of advice, they belong to a bad crowd, you shouldn’t associate yourself with them if you want a quiet life here, [Reader]”. Are you going to scoff and not listen to Riddle’s warning? Absolute;ly not! He’s housewarden for a reason and sure he’s uptight, but he doesn’t mean any harm and he’s just looking out for you! Riddle wants you to be successful and gleam in well deserved praise and attention, the type to push you a bit to study and participate while lightly scolding your wrongdoings and correcting your mistakes.

He’s not a concrete pillar though, he can be broken down so it’s only around you and maybe Trey where he reveals his real emotions. He may not look it, but he gets excited when you remember what he likes, when his birthday is, and small quirks he has. He really does appreciate being treated like an equal and being doted on, it’s a nice feeling. After being there for someone in more ways than one it’s nice to be treated the same (I know the feeling, I’m the mom friend-). Since you’re the only few he’s comfortable with, he’d want your attention on him. He wants you to notice when he’s feeling down, he wants you to praise him, he wants you to see him. He can be clingy, often making up tasks for you to help or to keep your attention away from others.

He doesn’t seem too extreme, but he’ll be mentally exhausting. Let’s say he manages to be with you, after all that fighting, crying, screaming, arguments, he breaks down. He won’t snap and resort to physical violence, no he’ll just break down crying. Why don’t you see what he’s doing for you? You’re his best friend, he loves you, he doesn't want to fight! Sorry to say but he gives me the “you don’t love me I’m going to fucking hurt myself!” vibe, if pushed to those limits you know. After everything he’s been through won’t you give him another chance? Maybe see it from his perspective?

Trey Clover

Trey is an 8/10 on my scale and before you all go, “Woah that’s way too high” lemme explain. The main characteristics are manipulative, overprotective, and possessive. Given Riddle’s backstory and how Trey and Chenya played a role in it, I know that Trey really cares for him but it’s tiring. He’s the mom friend and as someone who is the mom friend, it’s hard to be that person you’ve presented yourself as without hurting someone. Everyone turns to Trey if they need help, all the kids who are upset with Riddle’s ruling turned to him for comfort, and even seek his guidance. He has an older brother vibe to him and he hates it. Good old caring and reliable Trey, he can’t be truthful and has to keep the nice guy facade up, he can’t just blurt and say “it’s your fault” or “well what did you expect when you’re so stupid”.

He’s overprotective. He cares for you, will bake you sweets, and accommodate to your liking. Walk you to class, pick you up, help tutor you, and assist you in your tasks/needs! He’s such a good, reliable friend. Is that all he is to you? He’s tired of it, really! While he means well and your safety is his number one concern, he can’t help but notice that you’ve been so ungrateful as of late! Sick of the, “You’re like a brother to me!” and “Trey? Oh yeah, he’s my best friend!” With that behavior he rather just let you fall, let you fail, and let you starve.

Possessive. Trey sees you as his and guess what, you are! He’s always by your side scolding you and helping you, of course people are going to get the right idea and think you’re dating. It hurts him really when you deny all these claims and brush him off as anything but your partner. His hand is always on you, he’s always grabbing your hand and kissing your forehead but these are just gentle familial touches right? Cater sees his frustration but he doesn’t really care, it’s what he deserves mr “yeah, you and me are tight, but Riddle and me are tighter”.

Manipulative. Honest to God, he’d gaslight the fuck out of you. Lying to you non-stop, sreading rumors, making you feel so dumb. Straight up he’s mean, because he’s tired. He’s tired of the sugarcoating, the “no you’re okay, here I’ll help!”. He’s a ticking time bomb, he’s waiting to just shout “that’s common sense why don’t you know that?” Spreading rumors, “yeah they belong to a bad crowd, better avoid them!” oh actually. . .”did you know they said this about you?” Lying non-stop to make you feel bad, “Oh, Professor Trein actually said the report was due yesterday, you’re so forgetful, [Reader].” or “The recipe never called for that, what would you do without me, [Reader]!”. You become so dependent on Trey, you can’t even think for yourself. It all went according to plan.

You know that trope where the unusually calm person is only calm because they manage to release their stress from committing some violent crimes? I think that fits Trey. Which is why I say he'd be a sadistic yandere. He loves to see you cry, to see you beg for him! Even after seeing the real him you’re so stupid and helpless you crawl back to your attacker because you don’t know how to help yourself. He loves the thrill, the thought that you trust someone so willingly only to risk finding out that they’re the ones who hurt you! I think that he's not above permanently scarring you or hurting you. Yeah he’s tired of being the one who always helps, the one who everyone can turn to because it’s far too much for him! So be a good darling and go along with what he says! Be so submissive and willingly, don’t try to escape because it won’t end pretty. Second chances are hard to get and you can bet your ass that the punishment for slipping up is quite costly!

Since he’s always changing to please others, he doesn’t have a personality of his own. I wanted to say that he wants to be his true self around his S/O but how could he be if he doesn’t even know which one is the real him? This is where we start going downhill fast asf. Clingy. He’s the other woman, not just with the Trey situation but he tries so hard to be what others expect of him and he’s not even that well-loved in his community. He’s just a funny, lazy upperclassman who probably needs help studying because he’s always on that damn phone! Not you though, you see through that quickly. His smiles are practiced, his words are smooth and cunning and he can get what he wants with his social skills. He’s super reliable and has so much potential that others see him as, which is why he’s so manipulative.

Cater brushes off comments with a joke, he’s praised in areas he excels and laughed in the one’s he doesn’t do the best in, you wouldn’t be able to tell that he’s just an empty shell. His S/O is wrapped around his finger, sure he’s a sweet boy who would take pics with you, proudly flaunt you out in public as HIS, offer to help you study, and take you on sweet dates. You have long and meaningful talks and he gives out the best advice. He’s always there to lend an ear and a helping hand! So what’s the issue? He sounds amazing so why am I rating him so high? Now I know this isn’t a usual headcanon that I tend to give out, but I feel as if Cater is mentally unstable, bipolar if you will. He doesn’t know the real him, some part of him wants to cherish you and be a super sweet photogenic couple and the other side of him wants to keep you hidden and locked up. He wants to console you, but another Cater wants to hurt you. See those cute expressions you make when you’re in pain. It’s like whiplash, he’s a ticking time bomb that is so unpredictable. When he sees what he’s done, he’s in a state of pain. Apologies are being screamed at, he’s so sorry you don’t deserve this and he doesn’t deserve you but please don’t leave him it won’t happen again, you understand right? Better keep your guard up because who knows, what if this Cater isn’t the one you know and it’s one you should fear? What if the Cater you love doesn't manage to snap out of it in time? You know what he says, “Cay Cay’s gonna slay slay”.

Deuce Spade

He’s not too bad, Deuce is around a 5 or 6/10, he’s better than all the other ones here. He has the usual characteristics, protective and possessive. Those are his main points, he’s not a bad guy he just has his moment you know? Starting off, Deuce is someone who unlike the others, knows he’s not perfect but makes an attempt to get better. His mom was a single mother and he helped her with chores and fixing things here and there, taking the role of man of the house. Good thing is that he didn’t pick up some toxic masculinity trait! He’s protective alright, someone is picking on you? Call Deuce right up and he’s there! Ready to defend your honor. Do you need a favor? He might not be the best but he’ll try his best!

His hard work was never reflected with the end results, so I feel as if he was a burnout kid young you know? What's the point in trying if the results are the same? With that being said, I feel like he couldn’t come to terms with the results and so he started acting out to give a reason to his behavior. He tries hard every day, surely his bad grades are from him skipping, not because he’s a slow learner right? After what he heard his mom say he wanted to clean his act up and so far, though he’s not perfect and has outburst sometimes, he’s a great person where it counts. That’s what matters :))

He’s possessive, though I see him as the type to get quiet and flustered when he’s with his S/O, he’d care for them. You never gave up on him, treated him the same and were there for him every step of the way, [Reader] you’re going to get treated like royalty for sure with him! Everyone knows that change doesn’t happen automatically, so while he doesn’t mean to get violent with you, he can get a bit rough. Sometimes his hold on you is too tight to the point where your wrist begins to hurt. Maybe his hug can get a bit too rib crunching, he’s just so scared of losing his only love, aside from his mother of course!

He may be too over controlling, he’ll see any slight disturbance as an attack against his life, his S/O, and his relationship. This is when Deuce goes back to his roots, he goes back to getting into fights and leaving the other party black and blue. You’re staring in shock, Deuce is covered in blood and his own wounds that don’t come close to rival those on the receiving end. When he looks at you with those crazed blood-lust filled eyes, you can help but flinch a little and that’s when he comes back. Surely, you’re not scared of him, right? You know he’ll never hurt you, right? Of course you do! So tell him [Reader], why are you rejecting his love for you?

Ace Trapoola

Ace is a 7/10 no questions asked, he’s better than most but he’s stepping into that dark side fast. The thing with Ace is that he’s honest. Not using the “I’m just honest” disguise to be mean. He really is honest, he says what he means and what he thinks at the moment regardless of the consequences. I thought he was a badass when Trey was telling them Riddle’s story and asked them to be understanding. Ace told Trey heads up, “So it’s your fault.” When I tell you I was SHOOK. Ace was right of course but it was so unexpected of him to say! Regardless, he’s mean. He’s not trying to be (not yet anyways), he’s just honest! Manipulative, possessive, overprotective.

Aside from telling the truth as straightforwardly as possible, ironically he’s a good liar when it benefits him. Filler content aside, let’s bffr. He’s the type to bully/tease his S/O because he thinks their reactions are oh so cute! I like the idea that Ace was your first best friend and nothing says true friendship like hating each other in the beginning, enemies to lovers fr. The teasing can be something light like laughing at you when you say the wrong answer during a lecture, “You can be serious? C’mon the answer is so easy, you’re so stupid!” It can escalate to something more extreme like laughing at your outfit, “Seriously, you’re wearing that to a study session? You want to fuck your partner or something?” When he’s jealous, he gets worse. Yeah his honesty was a bit harsh, but now he’s just plain old mean.

Possessive. You’re HIS best friend. You’re HIS s/o!! Would he really skip out on class just to hang out with you? Don’t be silly, yeah you’re fun but he’s got way better things he could be doing right now (no he doesn’t). He’s so much more than what he presents himself as, just look at him damn it! He’s not the best friend who stands on the sidelines, he’s the best friend who turned into your boyfriend.

Most of all, he’s manipulative. I’ve placed a TW at the top but here is another. Ace is the type of person who is not above lying and paying people off to mess with you so you crawl back to him. He’d pay people to bully you, call you mean names, make you feel like shit, maybe even physically harm you. Sometimes he swoops in and plays hero, just so he can rub it in as a “see you need me!” Sometimes, he doesn’t show up but watches from the sidelines to see you cry and beg for them to stop hitting you, because he enjoys how after the whole situation he’s the first person you turn to. He wants to be your number one, [Reader]. Doesn’t matter how low he needs to go, you’ll see how all you need is Ace.

The type to gaslight you and make it seem like you’re the one with the problem. The type to bring you to your lowest point, but while you hate him and want your space, he’s the first person you run back to. He’d be the type of person to bring your self esteem so low, but remind you that while yeah you’re a shitty person, he’s the only one who’d want you. Sad thing is, he’d put on such a convincing performance you’d believe him. Who would love you other than Ace? Nobody. Ace is all you have. That’s how he likes it.

Realistic Deuce Spade + Headcanons

Sidenote: When headcanoning Deuce and all my other characters I take both factual and some of my personal thoughts/beliefs of the character to construct my headcanons.

Back to my rendition, I didn't give deuce any flaws necessarily (moles, acne, freckles, etc.) since I can not picture deuce with bad skin and he just seems like he tries to keep himself tidy and neat after being accepted into NRC. (Even if he did have a bit, after his change in behaviour he would try to fix it to again look more tidy and put together).

However, it's not shown in the art since it's not to that level of detail but he has a couple of past holes in his ears from piercings and he has a reverse tramp stamp above his yk yk from his rebellious days. How’d he got it without being of age? Idk really but probs a fake ID or something. Anyways it's just a simple design I chose from pinterest which i'll draw him with someday but it's basically just a spikey sorta design?? Idk how to describe it.

I also made this deuce half asian, Japanese to be precise, as I have seen a lot of people headcanon it, plus it makes sense to the extent that a sign of rebellion in Japanese households is dying hair which deuce mentions he did back in middle school.

For his features, Deuce has hooded eyes, a bit thinner and higher eyebrows, a straight nose that is upturned at the end, sorta longer eyelashes and an upside down triangle face shape, most of this is taken from his character model but taking some liberties to make the cast more diverse in terms of appearance.

For his body its a trapezoid shape so wider shoulders and a smaller waist, however he has pretty muscular legs (from track and field) and I’m caking my boy up 🫡. He has just regular size hands and feet but slightly longer fingers.

Aw yes, another slight british accent, sorry not sorry 🤭 – used to use heavy slang but stopped after getting accepted into NRC but it slips out here and there.

Personality and backstory headcanons + a bit of character analysis:

Deuce, like Ace, is one of the first characters/friends we meet in the game, he is presumed to be a very sensible and hardworking student (which he does try very hard to be) but always ends up getting himself into trouble. We later learn of his past as a delinquent which we can connect to his still aggressive nature towards hostile people who threaten him or his friends. I haven't seen much extreme mischaracterisation of Deuce personally because he's an extremely hard character to mischarcterise as the game is very straight forward with his presentation and past.

But diving deeper into his character we can discover why he's the way he is. Its cannon that his parents are split with his father completely out of the picture, and we never hear of a grandfather (maybe due to another divorce or death) so he grew up around all women which in theory is great for a boy since they learn all about how exactly to care for them but can also be straining.

Even if Deuce loved his mother and vice versa, he still would have wanted a father figure, which could be why he became a delinquent. Obviously the other delinquents were either kids of his age or a bit older which were the only ones in his eyes that could maybe fill in that role as a father figure. I know it's canon he became a delinquent because of his slow learning, feeling the need to just not try at all but subconsciously, it could have meant more to him.

When he heard his mother on the phone crying about if she's raising him wrong, if she’s a bad mother, etc. it made Deuce realise what he's been doing, that he's been taking the easy way out of things. Even though he probably didn't (and still to this day) realise he was hanging around the older delinquents because he saw them as potential father figures. (help my boy plsssssssss)

We all already know Deuce is a big mama's boy, not the sharpest tool in the shed and can have a bit of a temper when provoked, I believe Deuce is also emotionally aware of his friends. Women are known to be the more emotionally aware and supportive gender stereotype, and with Deuce only being around them he must've found his foreground (we using the big english essay words) on being able to see when someone is upset and/or mad at him or something. Even though he may be able to see it he might be a bit awkward with the comfort as again, he's still an awkward teen. 

With deep conversations, he will try his absolute best to understand and will ask questions to further his knowledge on the topic even though he might not completely get it. He would never try to avoid or show immediate distaste for these conversations because he feels he really gets to know the type of person you are based on them (Ace learn something from Deuce). 

Deuce appreciates quality time with friends alot, and especially appreciates people he knows are there for him as well as those who he knows he could tell anything to and would never be judged. He probably had to fake things about his childhood and personality to his old delinquent friends and never really realised it until he got real supportive friends like Ace, Grim and Yuu.

Okay i was wondering how deuce, riddle, rook, malleus, sebek and lilia would react to yuu who has a blind eye/a massive scar on their face because when they're were younger they fought someone inorder to protect their younger sibling

That sounds super wholesome ngl-

Deuce wouldn’t blink at their appearance (delinquent past). I personally think Deuce would look up to Yuu. Yeah, he's seen others with scars, but they were mostly from fights they had picked. He respects that they were fighting for something much more noble. Tbh, I think he would get a scar for his mom if the worst comes to it.

Yuu’s appearance is exactly what Riddle’s mom warns him about. He’s very stand-offish about them, and he does judge Yuu for their appearance. When he gets to know the background of the scar, he feels terrible about judging them. He asks about why you got into a fight, and while he doesn’t completely understand, he respects Yuu much more.

Rook was intrigued when he first saw that facial scar. The one of the people he’s interested in Leona, and he has a facial scar too. (Though not as big as Yuu’s. He thinks about the story behind the scar) Rook actually just straight up asks them once they meet face to face. Once he gets the story, he goes off into a tangent; “How magnifique! What bravery! Your sibling must be very lucky to have you!”

Sebek doesn’t bat an eye at your scar. If he does learn your story, he’ll be blunt about how much of a rash decision they made. HOWEVER, I think he’d also compliment Yuu about their willingness to fight. “I ALSO WOULD FIGHT SOMEONE TO PROTECT MY SIBLINGS, EVEN IF THEY ARE OLDER.”

“Oh my, what an interesting tale~” Lilia has his fair share of scars. He’d totally share some of his own stories of scars he has (just the ones where he was protecting others. Yuu doesn’t need to know about the rest). He gets it - he’s had a sense of protection under his care as well.

When Malleus first met Yuu, he gets flashbacks to those hardened warrior fae that he’s met (mayhaps his mom has a scar? Since she is the general-). He treats them with respect straight up. No matter the story, Yuu and Malleus do bond like canon. Once he does learn the story, his attitude does not change. But, he does feel jealous a tiny bit. He does see Silver and Sebek as younger siblings, but they’re more independent and protect him instead of the other way around. He asks Yuu for tips on how to be a good older brother and how to protect Silver and Sebek-
