☕️ steve harrington and "you called me your friend." "was i not supposed to say that?" "you really think i'm just your friend? after these last few weeks?"
anna u have singlehandedly pulled me out of my steve slump with this request thank you i love you <3
steve harrington x reader, 1.8k, join the celebration!
“Steve, we’re gonna be late for the movie.”
“Who cares?” Steve’s voice was muffled from where his face was buried in your neck pressing kisses to it. You gave the hair at the back of his head a gentle tug, making him retreat to meet your gaze. His eyes were darker than usual in the backseat of his car, hair mussed, lips kiss-swollen. You were sure you looked the same.
“Uh, the ticket taker, probably?”
Steve huffed overdramatically, licking his lips. “We don’t have to watch the movie, y’know. We could always just stay here, doing what we’ve been doing. Doing some more stuff, preferably with less clothes…” You shot him an unimpressed look and he sighed, letting you climb off his lap and out of the car swiftly.
He followed rather begrudgingly, straightening out his wrinkled clothes the best he could, taming his hair back into the artfully messy appearance he’d styled it in before your hands had been through it. “Do I look okay?”
“Cute as usual, but you got a little something right there, pretty boy,” You said fondly, reaching out and swiping a smudge of your lipstick off the corner of his mouth. Steve’s eyes tracked your hand, not realizing he was leaning into your touch until your knuckles brushed against his cheekbone softly. He cleared his throat suddenly and you retreated, dropping your hand back down to your side. “How ‘bout me?”
“Beautiful as always.” He laced his fingers through yours, bringing you forward to dot a few kisses against your hairline before tugging you into step with him towards the movie theater.
The smell of popcorn hit you the moment you entered, the thought of a mountain of the buttery snack in a bucket giving you a little extra pep in your step and Steve noticed, because he gave your hand a squeeze.
A voice calling Steve’s name from behind the two of you made you both turn around. A boy and a girl were making their way towards you hand in hand, the girl’s free hand raised in a wave.
From beside you, Steve beamed. “Hey guys! Didn’t know you were gonna be here tonight.”
“Oh, Nance wanted to watch Labyrinth again.” The boy tipped his head towards his movie partner—girlfriend, you assumed. He looked at you, offering you a small but warm smile. “What about you guys?”
“This is my friend, Y/N. Y/N, this is Nance and Jonathan.” He introduced you so nonchalantly you almost scoffed. If Steve still considered you just a friend after all the time you’d been spending with each other and all the things you’d been doing with each other lately, then you’d hate to see what he did with his other friends. “We were just gonna catch that new Matthew Broderick movie, see if it’s any good. You seen it yet?”
“Not yet, I was gonna see if Will wanted to watch it with me. Seems like something he’d find funny.” Jonathan shrugged. His gaze just so happened to wander down to yours and Steve’s joined hands, but if it surprised him, he kept his composure, opting for a sharp nod. “Well, we won’t hold you. See you Friday, Steve? Hellfire’s meeting at our house this time and my mom’s making pot roast, so you’d better bring your appetite when you come pick up Dustin and the others.”
“When do I not?”
“Reliable as ever, Steve.” Nancy joked. “It was nice to see you again, and really nice to meet you, Y/N.”
You smiled at her as best you could, saying a soft goodbye before they made their way past the two of you.
“You okay? Kinda looks like you just got sucker punched.” Okay, so maybe your poker face wasn’t great. Steve looked genuinely concerned for your well-being, and you hated how it sent your stomach into a whirl. “Are you sick? Fuck, I knew Mike’s nasty cough would rub off on me, that little shit! I can take you home if you want, don’t worry about the movie.”
“I don’t want to go home, Steve.”
“We can always catch it another day, it’s gonna be here for a month at least, we—” He’d already started to guide you back towards the entrance, but you stopped him with a palm across his chest.
“Steve, stop. I’m not sick.”
“Then what’s wrong?”
You shook your head. “It’s nothing. It’s dumb.”
“No it's not. Something’s bothering you, c’mere,” He said gently, gesturing for the two of you to step to the side, out of the way so you could talk somewhat in private. “What’s going on?”
“You called me your friend.” You said quietly, trying to ignore the ugly knot in your stomach. It seemed so stupid now, getting all worked up over something as silly as a single word, but you couldn't lie to yourself. Or Steve for that matter.
It did feel like you’d gotten sucker punched.
Steve shot a confused look at you, tilting his head. “Was I not supposed to say that?”
“You really think I’m just your friend? After these last few weeks?”
“I thought—hold on, we were on the same page about this, weren’t we? No labels, no defining anything, just you and me.”
“Well yeah, but that was before you used your stupid charm on me and made me like you and your stupid hair more than I should.” You were more angry at yourself than anything. You should’ve known Steve didn’t feel the same way about you as you did about him, but you’d stupidly given yourself an ounce too much of hope.
Never mind the days you’d spent together wrapped up in each other’s embrace, talking about anything and everything until the sun set and your eyes grew heavy. Never mind the being on the phone with each other until dawn poked its head above the horizon, the kissing and the holding hands and the sipping coffee silently in the morning until one of you woke up just enough to fold the other into their embrace.
All of that meant nothing, because you and Steve were just friends.
“My charm? What are you—what are you talking about, my charm?”
“You seriously don’t know what I mean?”
“Does it look like I do?” He shot back, then winced. “Sorry. I’m sorry, I didn’t mean to be so sharp.”
“You got me flowers last week, Steve!”
“Yeah, ‘cause they were nice and I thought you’d like them!” He exclaimed, gesticulating wildly. You just stared at him, waiting for him to realize your point. When he did, his mouth dropped into a silent ‘oh’. “I—I didn’t mean—”
This was your worst fear—the reason why you didn’t want to bring it up at all. You had a good thing going with Steve, and now you’d just lost it. “Just forget I said anything, okay?”
“No. No, stay. Please. Talk to me, I wanna talk about this.” He insisted, nodding fiercely. His hands came to plant themselves on your shoulders, then retreated a split second later, like he didn’t know what to do with them anymore. Not even twenty minutes ago, he’d had no problem touching you.
You hated how things were already changing between the two of you. All because you’d gotten your feelings hurt about something small.
“I like you, Steve! There it is. I like you, and I don’t know what to do about it because I don’t know what you want from me.” You blurted, voice strained with emotion. You squeezed your eyes shut, digging the heels of your palms against them tightly for a few seconds before refocusing on Steve, who just looked stunned. “Am I just someone you fill your time with because you’re bored, or is this thing between us going somewhere? ‘Cause if it’s not, I’d like to know now. Before I fall for you any more than I already have.”
As much as you swore to yourself you weren’t going to cry, you could feel the tears welling in your eyes. You bit down hard on your bottom lip to quell them, and Steve noticed. His expression softened like butter and he reached out, rubbing a gentle hand down your arm.
“Hey, I—I’m sorry. I didn’t know you felt that way, I swear.” Steve’s voice was soft. Comforting. You could tell what you’d just confessed was really eating away at him. That was another thing you liked about Steve. Whenever you told him something, he always took it seriously. “Guess we do kinda need to talk about the elephant in the room.”
“By all means, you first.” You muttered, folding your arms over your chest. Steve inhaled a sharp breath, letting it out as a heavy exhale through his mouth.
“I don’t exactly have the best track record with girls. I’m sure you’ve heard about what I was like in high school. I was a dick, plain and simple. I did things I’m not proud of, and I hurt people, but I swear on my life, I’m not that person anymore. I’m not…him anymore.” He looked almost upset with the way his jaw clenched, brow furrowing deeply at the mention of his past.
You’d heard plenty about the high and mighty King Steve, and part of you didn’t want to believe it. This was the same Steve who helped old ladies carry their groceries and always played basketball with the neighborhood kids when they needed another player.
“I guess I just didn’t wanna say the wrong thing and jinx what we’ve got going here, because I…I want this to go somewhere. I really like you too, Y/N. And I know it’s only been a few weeks but I—” Steve cut himself off with a short chuckle, raking a hand through his hair and bunching it at the nape of his neck before letting the strands fall back into place.
His expression was cynical, like he was positive you were about to reject him and leave him here in this dim parking lot and never talk to him again. You weren’t going to, obviously, but Steve was a worst case scenario kind of guy. “I think I’m already falling in love with you.”
“You’ve sure got a shitty way of showing it, Harrington.” You huffed, but there was no real anger behind your words. In fact, you were looking at him quite fondly, and the way you bumped your shoulder against his seemed promising.
“Believe me, I know that already. Workin’ on it everyday, though.” He shook his head with another chuckle. Even you cracked a tiny smile at that, sniffling slightly. “Can we start over?”
“I’d like that very much.”
“Yeah?” He perked up, looking pleased. You nodded and he beamed even brighter, sticking his hand out for you to shake. “Hi. I’m Steve, I think you're amazing, and I wanted to know if you’d like to watch a movie with me.”

— gorgeous, what can I say ?
the presentation went fine, nothing to worry about. y/n didn't throw up, neteyam didn't cry about whales- it was a success to the two of them. truth be told, the two of them kind of zoned out after they presented. they found a lot more amusement in just chatting up the back than listening to what their classmates had to say.
once class ended, their professor shot them a weary glance- knowing that they hadn't listened to a single word another student had to say. they didn't feel guilty, even though they knew they should've; but they enjoyed each others company too much to not hang off of every word the other said.
neteyam hesitated before speaking once they were outside, was he nervous? "did you want to come back to my place?" y/n took note of the way he shuffled his feet, "I'm taking tuk for ice cream when she's come from school if you wanted to come,"
y/n tried to not let her face light up too much, but it was impossible. he had asked her to come home with him? granted, it was to hang out with his little sister- but y/n would do his laundry or his dishes if it meant she got to spend another minute with neteyam.
"I would love to," she nodded, "means I can finally meet tuk!"
"oh," neteyam laughed, "she's been waiting to meet you, she'll be very excited"
"tuk knows who I am?"
"yeah, of course" neteyam nodded, "kiri talks about you all the time and they know we were partners for an assignment,"
y/n nodded, walking towards the parking lot with neteyam. "I'm honoured to be spoken of in the sully house," she joked.
"you really should be," neteyam chuckled, "right up there with the topics of tuk taking dad's credit card to buy robux and how the mato's bought a new barbecue so we should buy a new barbecue..:" neteyam sighed with a smile, "but we can't afford the barbecue because dad's card has been put on hold because tuk has been buy too many robux,"
y/n couldn't help but laugh, "I'm sorry," she shook her head. neteyam laughed too.
"it's okay," he promised, opening her door for her before heading over to the drivers side of the car, "it's fucking hilarious".
"not to your dad though," y/n gave him a knowing look.
"no," neteyam said with wide eyes, "so when you meet him, definitely don't bring it up,"
y/n laughed as neteyam turned the key in the ignition, "noted," she nodded. neteyam held her gaze for a little longer than he should have before putting his hand behind y/n's headrest- reversing out of the parking lot and heading towards his house.

"y/n, can you come back another night?" tuk held onto y/n's hand as they walked outside to say goodbye to her. neytiri stood at the door watching her youngest, making sure she wasn't going to kick up a fuss once y/n had to leave.
"if neteyam wants me to I can," y/n chuckled, looking over at neteyam who was leaning against his car, waiting for y/n with a smile on his face.
"what if I want you to?" tuk stopped in her tracks.
"alright you," neteyam leaned down and picked tuk up, holding her close to his chest, "go back inside and I'll be home soon, yeah?"
"but you have to promise to ask y/n back," tuk was pouting in her brothers arms, "..please?"
neteyam sighed with a smile, "of course,"
"I would've come over anyway," y/n whispered to tuk. the younger girl looked back to y/n with a big grin. they said goodbye to each other before neytiri called out a farewell. neteyam opening y/n's door for her once again.
"thanks," she mumbled with a shy smile. the drive was almost silent if it wasn't for neteyam's soft humming. "what song is that?" y/n asked.
"my mom wrote it," he only let his eyes flicker to her for a second before returning to the road, "there's a little bit for each kid, my part is the best of course," he shrugged.
"oh yeah?" she laughed.
"yes! is is,"
"that's pretty cool though," y/n told him.
neteyam hummed in agreement, "it's very special to our family,"
small patters of rain began to fall on the windscreen of the car. those patters became heavy fall. as neteyam pulled up to the girls dormitories, it was pouring rain in the cool of the night.
y/n grimaced slightly as she thought about having to run across in the rain, no jacket, no anything to keep her warm. neteyam startled her as he reached over into the backseat of his car.
"here," he handed her a hoodie.
"what's this?"
"a hoodie?"
"why?" she laughed.
"because it's pouring rain?" he looked at her as if it was obvious. y/n looked over the soft maroon fabric, the number twenty-four and his last name was embroidered on the back.
"what's this from?" she asked.
"I run track in the summertime," he said nonchalantly with a shrug.
"you do?" y/n scoffed with a smile, "I didn't know that,"
"there is a lot of things you don't know about me," he grabbed the hoodie back from her and held it open for her. "arms up," he told her. neteyam helped y/n find her way into his jumper, pulling the hood over her head. he laughed as it practically engulfed her, he could barely see her face in the abundance of fabric on her head.
"you gonna be okay to get back?" he asked her, "do you want me to walk you there?"
y/n hummed, "opening my doors for me, offering to walk me back to my room? I guess chivalry isn't dead," she joked.
"neytiri raised me better than that," he smiled.
"she definitely did," y/n nodded in agreement. they both sat in his car, not wanting the other to leave. y/n knew she would have to be the one to go first.
"okay well, I guess I'll see you next week in class?" y/n asked softly.
neteyam slowly nodded, "course, but don't forget you told tuk you would come back soon and that girl can hold a grudge,"
they both laughed together as the rain drops fell onto neteyam's car. "I can't break my promise to tuk," y/n smiled, her hand resting on the door-handle, "I'll see you soon, nete"
"bye y/n"

meeting steve’s parents for the first time and he gives you the little “ok so my parents are crazy” talk LOL
st-steve in his little winter vest and- and mittens and a silly winter hat sniffle sniffle
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
You didn’t grow up in Hawkins. To you, the “Upside Down” was just a spooky bedtime story Dustin told around the campfire. To you, Starcourt Mall was merely a burnt shell, a memory reduced to rubble and ash.
To you, “King Steve” was just a punchline between Nancy and Robin.
The Steve you met was a nerd. Sweet and handsome, but still a total nerd.
The first time you walked into Family Video, he nearly knocked down an endcap display on his way to come talk to you.
His opening line was “New in town?” with a suave smirk and an awkward lean on the shelf beside you – a few tapes met the ground and he immediately shot you that adorably sheepish look as he scrambled to pick them up.
Ever since then you were hooked.
“Trust me, you do not wanna experience the Harrington family holiday, okay. Don’t wanna scare you off…”
There used to be a little voice in the back of your mind feeding into your fears: that you were Steve’s dirty, little secret, that he didn’t actually want you to meet his parents, that you weren’t good enough for him. But, over time, you picked up on the little things. Little hints that he didn’t have the typical nuclear family.
The nonchalant segues anytime his mom was mentioned, the constant empty house, the lack of childhood stories or family anecdotes. The aloof response when you ask what trip his parents were on this time; “No idea” with a little shrug and a reassuring squeeze to your thigh.
Robin had mentioned it once, but never in great detail. Something vague about them being “distant” and “cold,” hinting at something a little deeper. But it wasn’t really her place to tell you.
Anytime you asked Steve, it always struck a nerve. He’d given you bits and pieces – mentions of forgotten birthdays and tense dinners – but you never really got the full extent of it. The truth was always hidden behind an indifferent laugh and a biting joke, tone blasé. Your heart ached for him.
“Yeah, well, my mom didn’t even know I was allergic to peas until I was five, so… Maybe that’s where I get my remarkable observation skills.”
You never wanted to pry, but you wanted him to know that you were there if he ever wanted to talk about it.
If he could have, Steve would have skipped the Christmas dinner all together. A sad microwave dinner at home still sounded more enjoyable than whatever scathing remarks his parents inevitably had planned for him.
Last year, it was his decision to skip college. This year, it would be his dazzling new job at Family Video. As if Steve didn’t already feel inadequate enough.
Dinner at your place was obviously his first choice, but his parents had been passive aggressively hounding him for weeks to bring his new girlfriend over, and what better time than Christmas Eve?
Steve’s dread was obvious when he stopped you in the kitchen last week.
“Hey, uh. Could I- um. Could I talk to you for a second?” He was fussing with the apple in his hands deftly as he leaned against the counter across from you.
“Oh god, am I in trouble? Did I forget to grab you something at the store, I could’ve sworn I got everything-” “No,” he chuckled a little at your concern, his face falling quickly after, eyes finding the floor. “No, it’s not that.”
His fidgeting was only getting worse and his gaze wouldn’t leave his feet as he spiraled in his own thoughts. You take a step towards him, rubbing a hand up his arm reassuringly.
“What’s on your mind, Stevie?” Your heart clenched when his gaze met yours; he looked unsure, troubled, before hanging his head again, toe of his shoe scuffing yours and fingers playing with the hem of your jacket intuitively.
“Well, my, uh… My parents were coming home for the holidays and they wanted me to have Christmas dinner with them…” He was talking more to your feet, but you could hear the exasperation hidden behind his attempt at nonchalance.
An understanding hum left you. Him mentioning his parents was a rarity, and you truthfully didn’t know how to react.
He met your gaze again, tentative as he nibbled slightly on his lower lip.
“Can you please go with me,” his meek tone took you by surprise. “I really don’t wanna go alone.”
You had never seen your boyfriend so vulnerable. Like a light gust of wind might knock him over. He looked tired, like he had been pacing all night rather than sleeping, wrestling with his thoughts.
You immediately said yes, of course. Honestly, you could never say no to him, especially when he asked so gently, so helplessly.
The drive to the Harrington’s was quiet. An unspoken tension thickened the air, the soft music over the radio only enhancing the stuffiness of the car.
Steve was fussing with his bottom lip and white-knuckling the wheel, only loosening his grip to run an anxious hand through his hair and adjust his rearview mirror neurotically. You were contemplating pressing him, but you knew he was on edge, the impending doom of his parents a mere six blocks away.
This was it. You were really going.
Steve’s neighborhood was beautiful. Pristine, white houses lined the streets, covered in a blanket of fluffy, white snow. To you, it looked like a Christmas card. To Steve, it looked like death row.
Each house had unique, tasteful lights strung along the rafters. Some even had flickering candles in the windows or wreaths on the door. They blurred past as Steve drove, one by one, a flicker of light on a white canvas, then gone. Eventually, your eyes started to glaze over, all the houses starting to blend together in a mush of picturesque suburbia.
Gradually, the houses begin to pass by slower, the details becoming clearer as the car rolls to a stop.
Turning questioningly to Steve, you catch him already looking at you, aching to speak. His fingers tap once, twice, three times anxiously on the steering wheel before the words finally come.
“I just want to warn you.” He’s holding his breath, afraid to continue. “Well, you may already know, I mean, I’ve definitely mentioned it before – not in too many words, but we’ve definitely talked about it, and, ya know, you’re really smart so I wouldn’t be surprised if you already pieced it all together-”
You cut him off with a hand on his arm, a gentle rub, before moving up to his neck. Your fingers run soothingly through the hairs at the nape, eyes scanning his face – his knitted brows, his bitten lips, his wrinkled forehead.
“Steve, take a breath. What’s wrong?” You try to sound casual, calming, reassuring, but it probably sounds more concerned than anything else.
The air is tense, and Steve seems to be searching your eyes for the courage to continue.
“Well, my parents are kind of… weird.” He doesn’t blink, too focused on reading each of your tiny microexpressions to notice. You can see him biting the inside of his cheek and you catch his eyes flicker with a touch of something: Panic? Fear? It’s hard to tell.
Trying to suppress your own anxieties, you muster up a warm smile.
“Steve.” An airy laugh passes through your lips. “Everyone’s parents are weird. Trust me, I’ve definitely come prepared.”
He grimaces a fraction, breaking eye contact, before looking back at you pressingly.
“No, like… My parents are really weird.” His eyes go wide as he tries to exaggerate his point.
“Ok… Well, what kind of weird are we talking about here?”
A sigh leaves him. He’s never been able to make it past this part. He looks to the middle of your neck, collecting his thoughts, before starting again.
“Well… In my twenty years of life, I think my mom has told me ‘I love you’ maybe, like… once? When I was a kid or something.” His eyes flicker to yours, then back to your neck. His gaze glazes over, thinking. “I don’t think I’ve ever heard my dad say it.”
A burning crept up your throat. You can feel the horrified expression on your face.
You croak softly. “What-?”
But he’s already cutting you off.
“And they’re very passive aggressive. And they don’t really acknowledge other people’s accomplishments if they can help it.” He’s come back to himself a little; he still can’t meet your eyes, but he’s turned back to the wheel, starting the car up once again, his hands moving in tune with his words. “Oh- and they don’t really listen. Well, like, obviously they listen, but they don’t like listen listen if you know what I mean. It’s like they’re just kind of waiting for you to finish talking so that they can speak. Oh, and just a warning, my mom is a terrible cook, so don’t expect five star dining-”
“Steve, pull over.” The words are cold, serious, unyielding.
“Wh-What?” He’s immediately frantic, stealing anxious glances at you as he starts pulling off to the side of the road once again. “Shit, I scared you, didn’t I? Fuck, I’m sorry. We can go home- I can drive you home?” He’s giving you that concerned, fearful look as he puts the car in park, turning to check in on you.
There’s a beat of silence, a moment of insecurity, before you turn to face him.
Warm hands cup his cheeks. Eyes remaining serious, you give him the softest, most loving look you can. “I’m sorry they treated you like that.”
The words suck all the air from the car, and Steve can’t stand your gaze, looking down shyly, mumbling mostly to himself.
“No, I mean, it’s no big deal, it’s over now…”
Leaning over the center console, you pull him in for a soft kiss. It’s probably the gentlest kiss you’ve ever given him, and the tenderness of it makes Steve’s eyes lock with yours.
“They never should have treated you that way. It’s not ok. No one should be treated like that by their own parents. You, of all people, should not have been treated like that. You are the kindest, most caring person I know. You are not your parents. You’re better than they will ever be, ok?”
Eyes misty, he gives you a little nod in your hands, gaze flickering across your face from the intensity of it all. His hands cuff around your wrists and give a slight squeeze – a silent understanding, a thank you.
“I’m here with you.” Your voice was barely a whisper; the words only for him. “We’re gonna do this together, ok? I don’t want you to worry about me, I can take shitty parents. I want to make sure you’re ok. You just say the word and we’ll leave. We’ll drive back to my house or a motel or something, but you do not have to stay any longer than you’re comfortable. You don’t owe them anything.” A few chestnut strands fall over his forehead, and your hand leaves his cheek just long enough to swipe them back, scanning his face, hoping to get some sort of read on his expression.
Languidly, he peaks up at you, eyes a little glassy, holding in his emotion.
He looks so broken. So shattered.
You know no one has ever told him this before.
With no words left, you give him a small nod, and he returns it with a small sniffle. Trailing up your wrists to your hands, he grabs each one and brings them to his lap, rubbing the backs pensively with his thumbs. A squeeze, then he’s pulling you into his side. His cologne envelopes you as a small kiss lands on your temple.
He holds you a moment, breathing you in, before turning back to the wheel and putting the car in drive, keeping a vice grip on your hand the whole rest of the way.

hiii!! sorry if this is a bit short but here you go!!
masterlist
“Okay, Tobias. We have to get ready for Daddy’s game! You want to go right? I know dada wants you there,” you said excitedly, only watching your three-year-old smile grow wider as he jumped up and down. “Yes, Mommy! Please I want to see Dad. I miss him,” he expressed, hugging your left leg tightly. You ruffled his curls and picked him up, and him immediately hiding in the crook of your neck.
“I know baby, me too! So let’s hurry so we can go see him, and wish him the best of luck okay? Remember how I told you we had to move for daddy’s work?” you whispered bringing your hand and dragging it up and down gently across his back, feeling as he nodded when you asked the question. “Well, today we're going to see how he works okay! We need to be there for him, cheer him on, and support him and his new club.
Tobies nodded again and whispered some words of encouragement for Christian. Tobias absolutely adored his dad. Always wanting to be like him from day one. He always appreciated him when he was at home, there to comfort him after a long game or just a bad day. All the cuddles, kisses, hugs, playing in the yard with a football, going out to parks where it was private and quiet.
You appreciated the big and small moments as well. Christian loved you more than his life,, you and his son were the things that kept him living. His happiness around you mostly, as you taught him how to love himself and you. He couldn't be more grateful to have a stunning and supportive wife from day one. You never asked for a lot, but he always made sure to make you feel like you were his queen.
After bathing and changing Tobias, you set him down for his nap. Him quickly falling asleep after the long day of traveling the day before. You had so much time to get ready and plan the awaited surprise for him. You talked with him about kids, so much you were sure he was ready for this second baby. Maybe the timing was or wasn't right, but Christian is the happiest father. And you were sure he would be the happiest man alive once you told him
The US heat was always extreme, so you put your hair up in a slick back bun, taking a few pieces of hair from the sides to give it a messy look, you makeup natural as you weren't going to waste expensive products just for it to sweat off. You changed into the new AC Milan white jersey, paired with a pair of denim ripped shorts and some sneakers you loved to wear on a casual day out.
You packed your purse, along with some snacks and drinks for Tobias, knowing hell get cranky if he doesn't have them… just like his father… After making sure nothing valuable was left out, you headed downstairs to meet up with his family and some of the other wags. His mom immediately held you into a hug, super excited to have you once back in the States. His dad followed after with a polite greeting, spreading a few jokes that made you laugh.
The stadium was packed, you didn't expect it to be like this but it made you feel happy at the amount of support for both teams. Christian had a history with Madrid, the goods like beating them into the UCL final, but also when they lost terribly. You were sure he would leave his mark like he always did.
You took a seat next to his sister and mom, quickly getting into a conversation and sharing a few laughs. The game shortly started after, your gaze immediately landing on your husband, who looked too good to be true. His messy wet curls, the tattoos you loved so much, the jersey clinging onto dear life. Just as you knew, he quickly helped the team advance to the first two goals of the game, watching as he cheered and celebrated with them.
Just as you least expected it, the game resulted in a loss, after a player from Madrid scored twice, and then finally made it 3-2 lost. Sure it may have been a friendly and just for pre-season but you knew Christian would be upset, he always wanted to win no matter what. It was the trait you and he had in common, being competitive. Tobias was happy either way, wanting to just hug him and tell him he was proud. Your baby boy.
You walked down to the fields where he was looking around for you. You told him earlier you didn't feel good, so he began to get scared when you didn't show up with his family. He indulged them with hugs, and you sneakily stood back as his gaze kept wandering for you. You even heard him say, “Where Y/n? Did she come?” which made you laugh and give in. His eyes lit up at you and his son, who were behind him for the whole time.
He picked Tobias up, feeling as the small boy cuddle into him, “Hi Toby, what did you think of the game?” He quickly conversed, hearing his son let out his opinions of the game and even how he played. Smart just like him. He placed him on his hip and grabbed your face gently giving you a kiss. He rested his forehead against yours, already feeling your comfort. “How are you feeling?” you asked.
“I feel great. I don't as much for the loss, but knowing I helped the team contribute to goals is an amazing feeling,” he said hugging your waist as you walked around the field together, thanking fans. It's the only time you were public as a family, enjoying the privacy a bit more. “I’m happy for you baby. You’re going have to score more goals for the three of us now,” you said with a smirk, slowly revealing the surprise pregnancy.
Christian completely stopped and looked at you with wide eyes. “Three of us? What do you mean?” he asked, kind of already knowing the answer. “It means that, by next year, you’ll have another baby cheering you on from wherever you are,” you said. He sat Tobias down, who quickly went on to play with a football nearby. “There’s no way… We’re going to have another baby?” he asked holding your face with both hands. All you could do with nod before he picked you up and spun you around.
He laughed and set you down, quickly kissing you, over and over again. “Christian! Okay, I get it, baby,” you giggled, gripping his biceps. “I'm sorry but I just love you so much! Thank you Y/n. For making me and Tobias the luckiest people alive. This small family we both created is all ive wanted, and thanks to you. I am able to be the person I am,” Christian admitted, making your pregnancy hormones go crazy, letting a few tears out. You hugged him tight, kissing his jaw and neck, wanting him to feel the love back. “You’re welcome, Christian.”
“Daddy! And Mommy! I want a baby sister!”

Woodstock 1999
Rick Sanchez x Fem Reader
Summary: After attending a house party, thrown by your friend Summer, you end up meeting Rick. While making small talk, you tell him about the Woodstock 99' documentary that you had just seen and that you wish you could have seen Korn from that festival. Rick is confident that you wouldn’t be able to handle yourself in a crowd like that. When you disagree, Rick tries to call your bluff. By taking you to an alternative reality where Woodstock 99 is taking place.

You were sweeping the floors, finishing up your shift at the grocery store you worked at. It was Thursday and the store had been relatively quiet for most of the night. Only a couple more customers were wandering the isles, picking up last-minute items.. You were pretty tired, this started as a summer job but you ended up keeping it throughout the school year. It was nice to have extra money for clothes and outings with your friends, it almost made up for how depleting work was. You heard the assistance bell ring from the register, which prompts you to run over. You were pleasantly surprised to see Summer and her mom, you share most of your classes with the redhead. She has actually spent the night at your house a couple of times and vice-versa. You give her a quick mom and start scanning her items. Her mom was going on and on about how all the bottles of wine were for a family event, you looked over at Summer who was rolling her eyes. You held back a chuckle and continued to make polite conversation with Beth. After you bagged their groceries, Beth walked back to the car but Summer stayed back to talk.
“So obviously the family event thing was a lie but I am throwing a party tomorrow while my parents are doing this couple retreat thing. You should totally come,” Summer said.
“Yeah that sounds really fun, did you already invite half the school?” you joked while wiping down the counter.
“A lot of people are coming, yeah, but it’ll still be fun,” she said.
“Yeah for sure, do you want me to bring anything?” you asked.
“Just your hot ass and maybe a bottle would be cool. My mom is calling. I got to go but I’ll see you tomorrow,” she said while walking away.
Normally a house party isn’t really your scene but you were feeling kinda excited. For the past two months, you’ve been in a bit of a funk. Only going to school and work, not feeling up to doing your make-up most days, and dressing pretty bummy. You felt like a good party would break you out of that. Summer and you had a lot of mutual friends so you knew you would have company no matter what. You checked out the last customer and locked the door behind them. You grabbed some stuff for your lunch tomorrow and two bottles of Red Berry Ciroc. The store was owned by an older gentleman who sadly had dementia, his 29-year-old son now runs the store. As long as you gave him an extra ten for each bottle you bought he would look the other way when it came to age. You took an Uber home and immediately got in the shower. Scrubbing all the sweat off your body and lathering your hair in shampoo as Molly Kate Kestne’s Prom Queen blasted through a speaker. You stayed in the hot water until you felt at risk of passing out. You give your mom a kiss on the cheek, wishing her a good night before going to your bedroom. After turning on Jersey Shore as background noise, you fall asleep in your towel; completely worn out by your school and work week.
When you woke up, you were surprised that you slept through the night considering you didn’t get too comfortable before falling asleep. You were feeling extremely well-rested, it wasn’t until you were halfway done with your hair that you remembered about Summer’s party. You were super excited, you had this Saturday off which meant you didn’t have to worry about having a hangover. You throw on a pair of jeans and a sweatshirt and start gathering things into your book bag. Once you got to school, you couldn’t stop counting down the hours until you could leave. It felt like years had gone by once it was finally time for lunch. You were sitting with a group of friends who were all talking about Summer’s party. Maybe it’s because you have a job but your friends seem a lot less mature over these past couple of months. It seemed like if it wasn’t posted or extremely extra then it didn’t happen. I don’t know, it just felt like they did everything for shock value or clout. You thought it was weird how upset they would get if they didn’t look good in a video of them taking a shot or not taking a picture with the blunt before it was smoked. Sometimes you wish you could record how they act during those times and show them later. You pick at your salad, tuning out of their conversation until the bell rings.
Once the last period ended you bolted out of the front doors and made your way home. You flat ironed your hair and started applying a bit of makeup. Rummaging through your closet, you ended up wearing a tube top and a pair of baggy cargo jeans. You grabbed one of the biggest purses you could find grabbed a tee-shirt and wrapped the two vodka bottles in a way that avoids any clanking sound. Your pen, make-up bag, charger, and a couple of other items. You end up walking to Summer’s house seeing that it’s only a 20-minute walk. When you got there, the sun was just barely setting and teenagers were flocking to the house. The house was practically shaking due to how loud the music was. When you walked in you practically had to wave a cloud out of your face. Summer immediately noticed you when you walked in and came over to greet you.
“Hey! Oh my gosh, I’m so glad you came!” Summer said.
“Yeah me too, I needed this really bad. Also.. here are those bottles,” you said, taking the vodka out of your purse.
“Wow, I didn’t think you were gonna bring anything. I’m gonna chill these,” she said, grabbing the bottles and leading you into the kitchen. When you walked in Rick was leaning against the countertop. She shoved the bottles deep into the freezer, in hopes of speeding up the process.
“If you can’t drink -burp- the liquor at room temperature you’re probably not mature enough to be drinking at all,” Rick said, taking a swig from his flask.
“What if we just prefer it chilled? Just because you can doesn’t mean you shouldn’t” you point out.
“Yeah, Grandpa and after I smoke I don’t like the way hot ass liquor feels on my throat,” Summer said, closing the fridge door.
“Doesn’t matter whether your liquor is cold or hot, your party is gonna suck since you put a ban on any of my friends coming. Seems a little like bigotry in my opinion,” Rick said.
Summer ignored him and led you to her bedroom where a girl from your school Tricia Lange was packing a bowl. You asked Summer if it was okay to leave the party unattended. She joked ‘That’s what Morty is for’ which made you and Tricia laugh. She offered you greens which flattered you, after cornering the bowl you handed it to Summer. Coming off a two-week tolerance break, the weed was hitting you fast and hard. You tilted your head up and blew the smoke up into the air. Tricia complimented you on how pretty you looked which made you blush because.. hello its Tricia Lange, one of the hottest girls in your grade. You guys were making small talk when Summer pulled out a pink crystal and started crushing it into a fine powder.
“What is that?” you asked.
“It’s a Kalaxian crystal, it’s pretty mild like snorting molly kinda,” Summer said, lining up the power.
“I.. don’t know about that,” you said looking at the powder suspiciously.
“Oh, you don’t have to worry about it showing up on a drug test or anything. It’s not detectable with Earth’s drug tests,” Tricia said, setting her hand on your shoulder.
“No, well that’s good to know actually but imma need to see you take a bump before I do,” you said.
“You humor me,” Summer said, using a hundred-dollar bill to snort the powder, her eyes turning a baby blue.
Summer passed the tray to Tricia who mimicked her action. Your heart was racing as her manicured hands passed the tray over to you. Not wanting to come off as a prude, you took the rolled-up bill into your hand and brought it up to your nose. You sniffed the powder into your nose and coughed a little because the taste was so foreign. The two girls lead you downstairs where the party is now packed and a bit unhinged. Couples making out against any available wall space they could find, groups of people who were surrounding a person smoking out of a gravity bong. Drugs by Lil Aaron was blaring out of several speakers, drowning out almost every other sound. The three of you were dancing together in the living room with several of your peers. You were feeling so euphoric and magical; like you could float off the ground if you really tried. It was then that Summer reminded you of the Ciroc bottles that were in the freezer. All three of you took a shot and cringed as it went down. Summer and Tricia left to go to the bathroom leaving you in the kitchen. You were pretty intoxicated at this point and started to wander. You end up in the garage, where Rick is sitting at his workstation.
“Out!” he barked which caused you to jump and gasp due to how loud and aggressive he sounded, he didn’t even look up.
“S-sorry I -which way..” you started but Rick got up and walked over to you. He grabbed your chin and tilted your head up.
“I told Summer to stop giving K-Crystals to her little friends,” he said, seeing the effects from your eyes. You looked over a noticed he had a Woodstock 99’ ticket pinned onto his wall.
“You -hiccup- went to Woodstock 99? You- you’re so lucky you got to see Korn from that crowd,” you slurred without breaking eye contact. He laughed and let go of your chin and walked back to his workstation.
“Did you actually go?” you asked, walking over to him.
“I thought I said to get out earlier,” he said.
“I have selective hearing,” you said, picking up a screwdriver.
“I’m lost, is that supposed to be my problem?” he said.
“Well it -burp- if you really wanted it to be,” you giggled.
“Yeah as much of a catch as you are, I think I’ll pass,” he laughed.
“Oh please I bet I’d be the best pussy you’ve had in months,” you laugh but quickly change expressions as Rick stands up and towers over you.
“Do you really think that you would be an unachievable fantasy to me? Like I’m some sad old stockbroker who has to rely on naivety to get laid? Don’t insult me,” Rick said, taking a sip of his flask without stepping away.
“Your shirt -hiccup- looks so soft, imagine if we could have gone to Woodstock together. You’re so tall that I wouldn’t have to worry about guys reaching up and groping me and I would have the most amazing view of some of the coolest bands of all time,” you said, feeling your high slowly start to come down. He smirked at you before turning around locking the garage door and opening a portal, dragging you through it.
“What- where are we going?” you asked confused, adjusting your eyes to the suddenly sunny skies.
“To call your bluff. There’s no way you could last here, it was kinda a shit show if you didn’t know,” he said.
“I know, I watched the documentary on Netflix,” you said very matter-of-factly.
It took your eye a couple of minutes for them to adjust but once they did, you couldn’t deny you were a little taken back. There really was a lot of nudity and white-boy aggression. You hoped Rick didn’t notice, but every once in a while, you would look behind you to make sure he was nearby. The first thing you wanted to do was get to the airbrush body paint station. You wanted Korn written across your chest in black and pink. At this point, the high of the K-Crystals was completely worn off and all you wanted was a hit of something. It was then you realized you still had your purse, you blindly reached your hand in until you felt your hand hit the cold metal of the battery. Your mouth begins salivating as bring the cart to your lips and take a long drag, blowing it up in the air. You take a couple more drags and notice that the artist has stopped. When you looked down he was just looking up at you. He was probably in his early 30s and had a 90s haircut that was short and spiked with blonde tips.  Without breaking contact take another drag and exhale as you speak.
“Sorry, did you want a hit?” you asked playfully, looking over at Rick who was smirking with his arms crossed, evaluating the situation. The guy airbrushing you looked up at Rick who started to speak.
“You know you didn’t come across to me as one of those girls who have nipple piercings,” Rick said.
“Yeah I know, they’re hot right?” you asked to adjust the one that didn’t have any paint on it yet; they were bars with a chain that supported a pink bedazzled saturn charm.
“So uh, Maria is gonna finish up our piece cool?” he said, getting up before either of you could respond which caused both of you to chuckle.
After you were finished up with the body painting tent you made your way to the main stage. Hundreds of teens and young adults were making their way to the exact same location. It was weird because even though you knew what was going to happen, you were still bubbling with anticipation. Rick laughed and mocked you because he knew you had seen exactly what happened and still bubbled with suspense and excitement. When you asked Rick if you could actually sit on his shoulders he didn’t say anything, only nodding in agreement. You were trying to pry about the first time he ever experienced this but he would always give you a bullshit excuse like he was too wasted to remember. As you walked, guys kept approaching you, trying hard to keep conversation. You tried to be polite and at least slow down as you respectfully deny their advance. You even stopped a couple of times but Rick would gently bump into you with his body from behind to keep you walking. Once you got into the crowd, Rick took the arm and pressed his body to your back. He started guiding and shaving his way through the front of the sea of people while having his arms raised, protecting you from the crowd.
Normally if someone was being more polite it would have taken forever to make their way to the front. Rick however wasn’t sparing any feelings as he pushed and shoved. As you people watched, you couldn’t help but take in how different people were in the 90s. One of the biggest things that tripped you out was seeing how different the hair and make-up were of the girls around you. Super thin eyebrows, a thick eyeliner waterline with clumpy mascara. Your lashes were huge and your nails were so long, it felt like everyone was staring at you.  Most of the hair extensions were god-awful but you gave them a pass considering this was a festival. The cameras were so retro-looking and looked bulky on the crew’s shoulders. Rick pulled a plastic baggie of pink powder from his lab coat. You assumed these were the same crystals you smoked earlier so didn’t think twice when snorting your fair share. Only later to find out that it was actually Molly, normally you’d be freaking out but I mean… You were in an entirely different dimension. Seemed kinda late for that. Once the intro started, Rick bent down slightly allowing you to sit on his shoulders. You could feel the energy of the crowd growing. It was almost like your heartbeat was getting more intense as the music’s rhythm began picking up.
A camera was coming closer to you, you blew it a kiss and then took a drag of your pen. It could have been because of the drugs but you felt like you were so high in the air, you could see the top of everyone’s head.; like you were a skyscraper. You were truly having the time of your life, it was nice being able to be carefree. Being able to get as wasted or naked as you wanted knowing you had someone to take care of you. You were gently running your fingers through his hair, tugging on it a little bit. You leaned down and whispered into the top of his head,
“Thank you for taking me here, this is amazing,” you said.
He didn’t reply, just ran his hands up and down your leg, starting at your knees and ending at your ankles. You were feeling accomplished that he didn’t get the chance to call your bluff as he put it. When Korn wasn’t playing you could barely hear yourself think over how loud the crowd was. You couldn’t tell if Rick was mad or just concentrating. After a while, you were getting overstimulated by everything going on around you. You asked Rick if you guys could head home, and he opens a portal directly underneath you guys, dropping the both of you back into a garage. You grab the extra tee shirt from your bag and throw it over your body.
“Thanks, we should do it again sometime,” you said before exiting the garage to find summer.

I have idea from the Big List you posted, if it strikes your fancy. No obligation!
Holiday!Fic, but make it Obi-Wan going out of his way to surprise Anakin by celebrating some Tatooine tradition or holiday. Not to tell you what to do but I have a feeling everything would go terribly wrong but Anakin would appreciate the crap out of the gesture regardless (even if he has no idea what it is Obi-Wan is talking about because it wasn’t something he and his mom celebrated/observed). It would be a super endearing and sweet show of love but it’s up to you how Anakin shows his appreciation 😉
Thanks, peach! Hope this delights! 💗
---
Obi-Wan looked down at the cake.
Well, what was supposed to be a cake.
Obi-Wan was certain cakes were supposed to have a bit of integrity to them, and not look like some amorphous blob had taken over the centre of the plate, spilling its runny contents over the edges and on to the counter.
Obi-Wan had followed the instructions carefully, even going so far as to ask one of the cooks in the temple for the correct ingredients, not wanting to rely on ‘good enough’ and ‘that’ll do.’ Baking was a science - or so he’d always been told. Just follow the directions and you’d produce the intended product.
So why did it look so goopy?
“What’s that?” Anakin asked.
Obi-Wan had told him to meet him in their shared communal space at three o’clock sharp, much to his future self’s ire. He should have made sure it actually looked good before presenting it to his Padawan as some sort of gift.
“It’s a cake,” Obi-Wan explained. “Or, it’s supposed to be.”
Anakin gave it a suspicious poke and a sniff. Obi-Wan smacked his arm.
“What’s it for?” Anakin asked.
“It’s in celebration of Kova Naduha.”
Anakin looked up from the cake, one brow raised in question. “Kova Naduha?”
Heat spread across Obi-Wan’s cheeks. “Have I gotten the date of it wrong?”
“No,” Anakin said quickly. “But I uh, don’t know why you’re giving me a cake for Kova Naduha.”
“Well, I read that it’s tradition to give a loved one a honey and cheese filled cake for Kova Naduha. You know, as a sort of… good luck to the next year blessing?”
Anakin broke out into a smile, lazy and boyish. His padawan braid slid across his ever broadening shoulders as he glanced back down at the cake. He let Obi-Wan linger a little longer over the precipice, lounging in his knowledge and delighting in Obi-Wan’s ignorance, before he let him in on the joke.
“Kova Naduha was a fertility goddess on Tatooine. We give these cakes to newly married brides, in hopes that it will make them more fertile. Hence the well-wishes into the coming months. You know, to give health to the prospective mothers and their babies.”
The heat across Obi-Wan’s cheeks spread to the back of his neck. He was certain if he was stripped the blush would show up on his ass.
“I uh, didn’t read that far, evidently,” he said quietly.
Anakin looked back up, blue eyes framed by golden lashes that brushed the tops of his cheeks when he blinked. He was still smiling, his amusement evident. “I still appreciate the gesture, Master. It was kind of you to try and bring a bit of home here, to Coruscant.”
“I only wish that I’d picked a more appropriate cake to give you. And perhaps actually baked the cake properly. But in my defense, I don’t have the proper equipment nor—”
Anakin kissed his cheek. Obi-Wan’s mouth snapped shut.
He was certain he was red all over at this point.
“Thank you, Master,” Anakin said as he pulled away.
Resisting the urge to touch his cheek, Obi-Wan remained next to his deflated cake, attention fixed on Anakin’s beauty mark on the corner of his chin.
“As I said, it didn’t come out the way it was supposed to.”
“You still gave me a gift,” Anakin said. His smile crept back on to his lips, and when Obi-Wan finally locked eyes with him there was a familiar glint in them.
“And what is that?” Obi-Wan asked slowly.
“You just proved to me that you are capable of failure. That there is something out there that you’re terrible at.”
Obi-Wan glowered. He tried to do the nice thing, and Anakin dared mock him?
“I’m perfectly capable of baking,” he shot back. “It’s just, this recipe was made for a completely different climate.”
“Yeah, sure.”
“And the sugars you use on Tatooine are completely different from the ones on Coruscant.”
“Uh-huh.”
“And I was strapped for time - you know I’ve other duties to see to, rather than spend all day baking a cake.”
“Obi-Wan?”
Obi-Wan clenched his jaw. “Yes?”
“Thanks again.” His tone softened, his cheeks a delightful shade of pink that poked out from beneath the bronzed tones of his skin. “Really. It was a kind gesture. Just the smell of the spices… well, it reminds me of my mum’s house.”
Obi-Wan returned the smile and relaxed his shoulders. “You’re welcome. Though you can just enjoy the smell - you don’t have to eat it.”
“Oh thank the Gods.”
Obi-Wan smacked his arm again.

Fight The Feeling- Part 11 He Really Loves You
Summary- You support Jack during his No Place Like Home show, where you take a step in your relationship that you didn't think you would take yet.
Word Count- 3.1k
Tumblr media
Jack was on his way to pick you up, you told him you could meet him at the venue, but he insisted on picking you up. Surprisingly for once, Jack was running a few minutes late and you were already ready and waiting for him.
As soon as you heard the knock on your door you stood up to answer it, smiling as you saw Jack.
“Hey, sorry I’m late.” Jack apologized as you grabbed your purse.
“It’s okay, I’m just glad Neelam can’t be mad at me for making you late.” You teased, and Jack laughed.
“I’m only 15 minutes late, it could be worse, it’s not like I’m going to be late to the show or anything, I’m still going to be there like 4 or 5 hours before the show.” Jack said.
“Fair point.” You laughed softly, you and Jack walked to his car, your phone kept going off, so you silenced it.
“Your phone’s been going off all morning too?” Jack asked and you nodded.
“Yeah, since last night practically.” You said and you laughed softly. After Jack’s soundcheck the night before, Jack dropped you off at your apartment and you both made your Instagram announcement posts, and ever since then you and Jack had both been receiving texts from numerous people congratulating you and Jack. You appreciated it and tried your best to respond to everyone who texted you, but after a couple hours it got overwhelming, and you decided to silence your phone and deal with it later.
You and Jack got in the back of the car, normally he wouldn’t have a driver for something that he could drive to himself, but this way you had a ride home if you wanted to leave before the after party or wanted to go home early.
You sat next to Jack, resting your head on his shoulder as you made small talk, quiet music playing in the background.
“Tired?” Jack asked, and you shook your head.
“No, I took a nap before you picked me up. Your shoulders just comfortable.” You said and Jack laughed softly, resting his arm around your shoulders.
“I’m glad I’m a comfortable pillow.” Jack teased.
“You are. I did always sleep better when I was with you, either that or it’s your child not letting me sleep.” You joked.
“Oh, my child huh?” Jack laughed.
“Yes, your child. My child wouldn’t keep me up all night.” You teased and Jack rested his hand on your bump.
“You gotta let your mom sleep.” Jack said, looking down at your stomach, making you laugh softly. “Why can’t you sleep?” Jack asked, looking at you.
“It depends on the night.” You said and shrugged. “I’ll be okay though.”
“You should start telling me when you can’t sleep, I want to be there for you.” Jack told you.
“I don’t want to wake you up or bother you just because I can’t sleep.”
“I don’t mind, seriously.” Jack reassured you.
“Let’s talk about that at another time.” You suggested and Jack nodded. “How are you feeling?” You asked Jack.
“I feel good, it’s nice to know that after this show I’ll be back in my own apartment instead of some hotel room.” Jack said.
“Yeah, that’s a nice feeling.” You agreed. “Are you nervous?” You asked, lifting your head from Jack’s shoulder, and looking at him.
“Not really, not right now at least.” Jack said, laying his hands in his lap.
It wasn’t long before the car was pulling up to the back of the arena. You and Jack got out of the car and were led into a back entrance, then you were led to his dressing room.
“Is everyone here yet?” You asked as you and Jack put your stuff down.
“I think so, I’m not sure though.” Jack responded, within minutes Neelam was knocking on the door to bring Jack to soundcheck. You followed behind him, not wanting to stay in the dressing room by yourself. You were standing on the side of the stage when Clay and Jack’s parents came up next to you. Clay approached you first.
“Hey Y/N.” Clay smiled, hugging you.
“Hey.” You smiled, hugging him back, before hugging both of Jack’s parents.
“Jack had me bring the donuts you were craving yesterday so I put them in his dressing room.” Clay told you.
“I didn’t think he would actually get them just for me.” You said, laughing and shaking your head slightly. “But thank you, I’m sorry you had to go do that.” You thanked him and apologized, feeling bad that Jack made Clay go out of his way for you.
“Hey, whatever it takes to beat Urban in being the godfather.” Clay joked, both of you laughing.
“Well, whatever your motive was, thank you.” You smiled again before Clay was pulled aside by someone else.
“I’m so glad you and Jack got back together, we all missed having you around.” Maggie told you and you looked confused for a second but luckily, she didn’t notice.
“Oh, yeah.” You smiled softly. You were confused because you and Jack weren’t together, but you thought maybe she said you were because you were around people who didn’t know that, but none of them could hear you. Anyone who thought you were together didn’t know you broke up either.
“You two are going to be great parents, I’m really happy for you two. I remember Jack used to talk all the time about how he wanted to start a family with you one day.” Maggie said.
“He did?” You asked, you and Jack had talked about your futures occasionally, you both knew what you wanted, but you didn’t know Jack told his parents about it.
“Yeah. I don’t know why you two broke up, Jack never told me, but I know whatever happened, he was devastated. I’m glad you’re back together because we all like having you around too, but also because you really do make Jack happy.” Maggie told you and you couldn’t help but smile.
“You think so?” You asked and she nodded.
“I wouldn’t lie to you.” She told you before you started talking about your pregnancy and the baby, this was the first time you had talked to her since before you and Jack broke up, so she wanted to hear everything from you too, not only Jack.
Jack’s soundcheck wasn’t very long since he had a rehearsal the day before, it was mostly just double-checking stuff. Once he was done, he made his way over to where you were standing with his parents. Jack greeted his parents before turning to you.
“You good?” Jack asked and you nodded.
“Yeah, should I not be?” You asked and Jack shook his head.
“No, you’ve just been standing this whole time, I can have someone bring a chair if you want.” Jack offered and you rolled your eyes.
“Jack, it’s been like 30 minutes. I’m fine.” You reassured him and he nodded.
“Okay, but I’m having someone bring you a chair for the show, you don’t have to sit, but I just want you to have the option.” Jack told you and you nodded, deciding not to argue, partly because you knew you wouldn’t win, and because you wouldn’t mind having the option to sit.
“I won’t argue.” You said and Jack laughed. “Can we talk?” You asked and Jack nodded.
“Yeah, dressing room?” Jack asked and you nodded, Jack told everyone you two would be right back before you walked to his dressing room, closing the door behind you as you sat down on the couch, Jack sitting down next to you. “What did you want to talk about?” Jack asked.
“Why is your mom acting like we’re still together?” You asked.
“Because there is people who don’t know we aren’t here.” Jack answered. “And she might not know we aren’t together.” Jack said quickly, hoping you wouldn’t hear what he said and that you would just focus on the first part.
“What?” You asked and Jack sighed, running his hands through his hair.
“She thinks we are together. When we were in that first meeting, I wasn’t really paying attention and I didn’t realize that Claire and Neelam were going to publish the articles as soon as they did. Apparently, some people saw it and were asking her about it before I could explain the situation to her. She was so excited, and then I told her about the pregnancy, and she was even more excited. I didn’t want to tell her we aren’t dating, and then tell her about the baby. I also just don’t know how to explain to someone what we are, when we don’t even know what we are. I don’t want to be with anyone else, but we aren’t together. It’s not like we’re dating around, we’re pretty much exclusive, but there isn’t a label.” Jack explained and you sighed softly.
You were expecting to be mad at Jack after you talked to him, but you weren’t. Truthfully, you were confused at what you and Jack we’re too. You weren’t together, but you also weren’t not together. If you had to explain to someone what you were, you didn’t think you could.
“I can’t even be mad at you for that, I thought I was going to be mad at you.” You said.
“I can tell her we aren’t together, I just haven’t found the right time. Plus, I feel like things are going good between us right now, so I don’t know if we are going to be together again. I’m sorry, I should have told you she didn’t know.” Jack apologized and you shook your head.
“Jack, it’s okay, I don’t think I could explain it to someone either. You should have told me though. Also, you talked to her about starting a family with me?” You smirked slightly, Jack blushing immediately and looking down at his hands.
“Damn, I leave you two alone for 30 minutes and she tells you everything.” Jack joked.
“I think it’s cute.” You reassured him, brushing your fingers through his hair. “Plus, I’d be more upset if you talked to her about not wanting a family with me for obvious reasons.” You said, pointing to your stomach, both of you laughing.
Everyone hung out around the stadium for the next couple of hours, you met some more of Jack’s friends that you hadn’t met before. Jack did a little bit of press, and you took some photos together until it was time for Jack to perform.
Over halfway into the show, Jack started to read out fan signs, mostly reading out the dirty ones.
“Guys, my girlfriend is here.” Jack joked, pretending to be disappointed by shaking his head before looking over to the side of the stage where you were and smiling at you. “I can’t be reading out all of these signs anymore, I’m going to be a father.” Jack said, which of course made the crowd cheer loudly, Jack smiled over at you again and you smiled back.
“I’m not going to call Y/N out here because she’ll probably hate me if I do, ironic huh? She’s a model but she’ll be pissed off at me if I call her out on stage.” Jack joked before continuing his speech. “But I do want to thank Y/N for putting up with me and continuing to support me. I know we both wanted to keep our relationship private, but it wasn’t easy on either of us. She is the most amazing person I’ve ever met, and she’s been by my side since the day we met even if no one knew it. For no other reason than she wanted to be, and even though I’ve been there for her too, I’ll never be able to thank her enough for everything she’s done for me.” Jack said, facing you more than the crowd, you wiped underneath your eyes since they had started to tear up.
“Let’s move on to the next song before I spend the rest of the show going on about Y/N, because I could. I love you Y/N.” Jack smiled at you once more before his next song started.
Jack performed a couple more songs before he walked off stage for a moment, he didn’t usually do an encore, but he decided to switch it up for this show. As soon as Jack was off stage, he was being handed a water bottle and someone took his microphone. Even though he only had a minute, he made sure to make his way over to check on you.
“You okay still?” Jack asked you and you nodded.
“Yeah, I’m fine, you’re doing great by the way.” You smiled, you could tell he was a little nervous, but you weren’t going to tell him that.
“Thanks. That wasn’t to much right? The speech?” Jack asked and you shook your head.
“No, it was sweet thank you. I loved it.” You reassured him.
Without thinking, you leaned forward and kissed Jack, but as soon as you did, Neelam came over.
“Jack, you have 30 seconds until you have to be back on stage.” Neelam told him, and you two pulled away. Jack got pulled away to the stage before going back out.
He didn’t kiss you back, but he also didn’t really have time to, but it made you think he didn’t want to kiss you. Maybe you had read the signs from the past couple days, and his speech on stage wrong. What if he was just pretending because you were faking your relationship.
You couldn’t help but think about every possible situation where Jack didn’t want to be with you as much as he had been acting like it go through your head. All because he didn’t kiss you back.
Maggie saw you two kiss and noticed how Jack’s energy changed as soon as it happened. Anyone that knew him could tell that he was happier, except for you. You knew him and you thought you knew him pretty well, but you were too in your head to realize.
“You know, I’ve never seen someone have that effect on him before. All you did was talk for a minute and gave him a kiss and he’s so much happier and relaxed.” Maggie told you, getting your attention away from your thoughts.
“Really?” You asked and she nodded.
“Yeah, you know he really loves you.” She said, and you nodded, smiling to yourself.
“I know.” You said quietly. Of course, Maggie’s words didn’t completely calm you down, but they did help. Maybe you weren’t wrong after all.
As soon as Jack got off stage for the final time, he handed his microphone to the first person he saw, ignoring the person offering him a water bottle as he looked for you. It had become a little more crowded with crew getting ready to start breaking things down but as soon as Jack’s eyes found you, he made his way to you.
“I’m sorry.” You started to apologize to Jack, when he leaned forward and cut you off by kissing you. This time there was enough time for you to kiss back before he pulled away.
“Don’t apologize, I was just surprised, and I sort of had a show to finish.” Jack said and you laughed softly, nodding. “But I was thinking of doing that the whole time I was on stage.” Jack told you.
You weren’t reading Jack’s signals wrong at all.
Several hours later and you and several of Jack’s friends were hanging out at Jack’s apartment after the show. It wasn’t anything crazy like a normal after party, but it lasted a lot longer than you or Jack expected. You could have left early, but you didn’t really want to, so you stayed until it was just you and Jack left.
Jack could tell how tired you were, he had encouraged you to go home and go to bed earlier on in the night, how you weren’t already asleep on his couch he had no idea.
“Do you want to just sleep over? I can drive you home if you want, but you’re also welcome to stay.” Jack offered, looking over to his side where you were, your eyes were closed and you had a blanket over your lap, but you were still awake.
“Can I just stay here? I don’t want to go home.” You said, opening your eyes and looking at him.
“Of course, c’mon, let’s get you to bed.” Jack said, helping you stand up from the couch before leading you to his room.
“You can sleep in here, I’ll go sleep in the guest room, my beds comfier so I’d rather you have it.” Jack told you.
“Jack, I’m not going to kick you out of your own bed.” You told him. “You can sleep in here with me.” You said as Jack handed you one of his shirts to change into.
“You sure? I don’t mind.” Jack reassured you and you nodded.
“Of course, we’ve done more than sleep in the same bed.” You joked before you walked into the bathroom to change, Jack going in after you came out.
You and Jack got into bed, lying next to each other, Jack pulling the blanket over the two of you.
“As long as you promise not to have sex with someone in this bed tomorrow.” You partly joked, referencing the time you two had to share a bed in a hotel room and Jack did exactly what you just said.
“Well.” Jack said, pretending to get out of bed before he noticed you starting to cry. “Oh, no I didn’t mean it.” Jack reassured you, laying back down and wiping the tears that had fallen away with his thumb. “That was a stupid joke. I shouldn’t have done that. I didn’t mean it seriously, I promise not to have sex with anyone else in this bed, tomorrow or ever.” Jack promised you.
“Promise?” You asked and Jack nodded, kissing your forehead.
“Promise.” Jack reassured you.
“I’m sorry, I made the joke first, I shouldn’t have gotten upset at you joking back.” You apologized and Jack laughed softly.
“Not your fault. I shouldn’t have joked about something like that.” Jack said.
“My emotions are all over the place. I hate it.” You said, as Jack gently laid his hand over your stomach, pulling you closer with his other arm.
“Let’s go to sleep, I’m sure being exhausted doesn’t help.” Jack suggested and you nodded. “I love you.” Jack whispered.
“I love you too.” You whispered back, gently pressing your lips to his, Jack kissing back this time before you two fell asleep.

Reservations and Redemption
Series Masterlist
Synopsis: Jack and Zoey’s first date.
Tumblr media
From the very beginning of the night Zoey was reminded that this wasn’t some regular degular dinner date. There was a car ready to pick her up from her hotel right at 8pm like Jack said, and he’d be meeting her at the restaurant. A burly looking security guard awaited her when she arrived, walked her in through the back entrance and up the stairs to a private table next to a massive glass window, overlooking the city.
He was already sitting at the table waiting for her, wearing a brown short sleeve button down with white stripes on the collar and these adorable little glasses. His bright blue eyes shined brighter the moment she came into view.
“Thank you Mike.” Jack nods to the security guard, standing up to pull out the chair across from him. “Hi Zoey, you look amazing.”
The heat she felt on her cheeks made her want to melt into the floor. “Thanks, you don’t look so bad yourself.” She responds, getting a slight chuckle out of him. “When I saw the security guard out there I definitely thought I would be meeting someone up here to sign an NDA before I got to you.”
“I usually save those for the second or third date.” He jokes. A waiter arrives soon after and brings them water as they look over the menu and make small talk. “Wait a minute, you work for David Tutera? My mom used to watch ‘My Fair Wedding’ and I’m not even gonna lie, I tuned in for a couple episodes. Those venues were all decked out and sexy. Definitely got me excited for my own wedding.”
“Yeah mine did too!” She smiled. “And it’s crazy to think about because I used to watch and hope that someday he’d plan my wedding if I had the money. Now that I’m here it’s a definite possibility.”
The rapper was getting more nervous by the minute. Zoey was gorgeous and successful and funny and honest. She was exciting and scary at the same time and he desperately needed some food in his system to push down the kaleidoscope of butterflies in his stomach.
“So…how’d you meet Normani? I saw that you two have been friends for a while now.”
The woman across from him takes a sip of her water. “Yeah we met at X-factor auditions when we were teens, immediately hit it off and have been inseparable since then.”
“You can sing?” His ears perk up. “Imma definitely keep that in mind for later. Have you sing me a lullaby or something to go to sleep one day.”
“I only sing for fun now, I’ve got a job I love and definitely enjoy and value my privacy even more being around Nor. Having to see the shit she deals with on a regular basis just makes me that much more grateful for the life I have.” She pauses as they both thank the waiter when their food comes out. “My job allows me to meet and interact with all of these amazing people, but the entire world doesn’t need to know my business.”
Jack sighs, nodding his head. “Privacy…my most prized possession. Not really something I considered when I started doing this but now that I’m here, I’m realizing how important it really is to separate your public persona from your personal life. Glad I get to escape to Louisville though and be home. I’d probably be the worst person in the world if I lived here full-time.” He explains.
“Yeah the little glimpse I saw of LA Jack a few days ago was enough. This version of you is so much better.”
His lips pulled into a grin and he let out a laugh. The mop of curls on top of his head shook slightly and she wondered if his hair was as soft as it looked. “You’re gonna make me apologize for that for the rest of my life aren’t you?”
“Oh absolutely.” She responded, watching him roll his eyes playfully.
After dinner was over and he paid, the man looked over at her, clearing his throat awkwardly. “I’m not ready for this date to end.”
“So this is a date? I thought this was an apology.” She teased.
“Can’t it be both? Either way, I don’t want this night to end yet.”
Zoey met his eyes and looked away immediately, staring out the window. “What did you have in mind?”
“Now that’s a surprise.” He winked, standing up to grab her hand which she happily accepted.
Mike escorted them down the same secret path she’d taken earlier. There was a different car waiting for them in the empty parking garage and the two hopped in the backseat. Within minutes they had arrived at their destination. The car pulled around to the side of the building and into another secluded parking lot. He was going to great lengths to make sure no one saw them and she appreciated that. Another muscled man joined Mike and the two led the way into a massive private theater room.
There were drinks in the corner, popcorn and blankets and the ceiling was decked out with constellations. Zoey almost had to physically pick her jaw up from the floor.
“You did all this?” She whispers, her voice incapable of upping the volume.
“I did.” He whispers back. “Let’s go sit.”
Of course he’d done his research and picked out ‘Crazy Rich Asians’ for them to watch. It was essentially the perfect romantic movie. The drama, the cute couple, the wedding scene? It was probably one of the most visually pleasing films she’d ever seen and that’s why she loved it so much. Halfway through the movie she was covered by this soft, fuzzy blanket wrapped in the arms of a six-time Grammy nominated artist silently wondering how the hell this even happened.
She could hear him softly humming along to “Can’t Help Falling in Love” making small circles on her shoulder. Zoey looked up at him, biting her lip. Jack took his other hand and ran it gently across her cheek with his thumb, taking a deep breath. Their faces were so close already that he could smell the sweet vanilla fragrance she used. He leaned in a little more but hesitated as soon as their lips touched because if he was already this far gone, the kiss would probably send him over the edge. Fuck it.
They started slow, small tender pecks that became a delicate tongue filled dance, leaving their bodies humming with excitement. His large hand cupped her face and she rested hers around his forearm, desperate for more physical contact. They were both surprised his glasses didn’t fall off. She was so warm to the touch that it almost felt familiar, like he’d been wandering around the world alone for a while and was finally back home. After what felt like an eternity, they broke apart, breathy giggles filling the room as he rested a hand on her hip and their eyes were back on the movie. Their minds were very much elsewhere.
Before she knew it the movie was over and the night had to end. She regretfully took his hand and stood up from her seat when Mike turned on the lights.
“We should do this again.” Jack said, his eyes looking a little sleepy even though his pulse was still racing. “Text me when you get back to your hotel so I know you’re good?”
She nodded and welcomed the innocent kiss he placed on her temple. He walked her all the way out the door without letting go of her hand and kissed her knuckles before she got in the car. That was one hell of an apology she thought to herself when the door closed.
Jack watched sadly as the car pulled out of the small parking lot. There was a small laugh behind him. “What could possibly be funny right now man?” He asked, looking butthurt.
Mike shook his head, “nothing J, you’re just sprung and it’s nice to see. You know Urban’s gonna be on your ass about it though right?”
“He already has been.” He says with a scoff, taking off his glasses to rub his eyes. “I don’t know what the hell imma do Mike. I like her but you know I’m not a relationship guy.”
The car they’re taking back to the hotel comes into view. “Slow your roll Romeo, nobody said you were getting married tomorrow. Just take it one day at a time. We’ll head home in the morning, you'll figure yourself out and maybe make plans to see her again.” The security guard pauses, opening Jack’s door. “You do want to see her again, don’t you?”
“As soon as humanly possible.”
Is there anything above cloud 9? Because that’s how Zoey felt walking in the door.
“Come here right now and tell me everything.” Her friend didn’t even let her take two steps before hounding her about her night. “Was he nice? A gentleman? What did you guys do? Where did you go? Was the food good? Did you kiss? How—”
“Mani, breathe.” Zoey tells her, sitting next to her on the couch. “Yes he was nice. Very much a gentleman, we had dinner at 71Above and then went to this cozy little movie theater and it was just us in the room. We kissed and the food was great. Any other questions, your honor?”
Mani nods her head slowly, taking everything in while her best friend looks on in annoyance. “Anything you want to share with the class, Miss Hamilton?”
“No it’s just that DK and I knew that you two would hit it off and we can’t wait to double date.”
“Who says I’m going to date him? He’s a rapper who lives in Kentucky full time and probably has a revolving door of women that he entertains. I’m not an idiot, I don’t want to set myself up to get my feelings hurt by thinking I’m special.”
The singer raises her eyebrows at her friend’s assessment on the dilemma at hand. “But you have a little crush on him, don’t you?”
“No, I don’t. I had a good night but it was probably a one time thing.” Zoey assures her.
“Sure Zozo. Whatever you say…”
“I’m serious! Sorry about your double date fantasy but, it’s just not like that between us. I most likely won’t even see him again unless you or D have another party. And I do not have a crush on Jack Harlow.”
She definitely had a crush on Jack Harlow. And she was counting down the seconds until she got to see him again.

can you write bailey’s fam meeting noa? like obviously they know noa’s family, but not noa personally so they get to know her more
“Would you two knock it off!” You shout across the living room to Ryder and Mat play fighting over the couch.
“Mom chill”
Ivy walks in at that moment, Nola toddling in shouting for her papa “Papa! Papa I’m home!”
Mat lifts her up, holding onto his grandbaby while Ivy and Sasha bring Leo in, sleeping and greet Ryder before entering the kitchen to where you and Lennon are preparing dinner.
“Hi momma” Ivy kisses your cheek and you smile
“Hi, Darling girl”
Lennon takes the opportunity to see to the baby that Sasha had brought in “He’s growing so much!”
“He’s gonna be a big boy, like his daddy” ivy jokes, taking Leo out of his car seat to hand him over to her sister in law.
Among all of the exchanges and chatter, Bailey and Noa had managed to sneak in the front door
“We’re here!”
Nola gasps in Mat’s arms when she hears her uncle “Uncle Bailey’s home!” And shimmy’s out her grandfathers arms onto the floor so she can run to him.
Bailey whisks her off her feet, peppering kisses on her face.
Ivy leans back and signs to him
I missed you
Bailey smiles “I missed you too”
She looks at Noa and back to Bailey
Can she sign too?
Bailey goes to answer but Noa does instead, signing
I can, it’s nice to meet you! I’m Noa
She gasps and looks at Bailey “That’s like my name!”
He nods “Just one letter short, now where’s grandma?”
Noa’s previous anxious state had now settled after her interaction with the girl.
Bailey took Noa into the kitchen with the rest of his family. Their faces light up when they see the couple
“Bailey! You’re home”
“Guys, this is Noa” he gestures to the girl next to him.
His sister immediately hugs her and Noa gives a soft “oh!”
“It’s so lovely to meet you, Noa! I’m Ivy, but I hope Bailey’s told you all about me” she raises her brow to her baby brother who brushes her off jokingly.
Ivy then goes along the group “This is my husband Sasha and our kids Nola and Leo, That is Lennon who is engaged to the middle child-“ she points to Ryder out in the other room “That’s Ryder, this is our mom and my dad is just helping Ry with something”
Noa smiles softly “It’s so lovely to meet you guys, thanks for inviting me to your home”
You smile at her “We’re so excited to have you Noa and even more excited to have you guys here for the 4th of July weekend!”
She smiles gratefully “My brother is a little sour I picked the 4th over Canada Day — our Canadian comes through in July to piss of my dad”
Before you can reply, Mat walks in “Did someone say Canada Day? Do you mean the better of the July holidays?”
You roll your eyes at your husband “Mathew…”
He looks around before he lands on his youngest and his girlfriend “Noa Boeser! Gosh I haven’t seen you since you were like this small!” His hands gesture the size of a small child and Ivy groans
“Daddy you sound so old!” Ivy groans to which Mat just shrugs “I am old! I’m a grandad I’m allowed to say old things”
They spent the entire night outside on the decking eating and sharing stories, Nola running between everyone until she fell asleep on Lennon’s lap and Leo had been passed around before settling into Ryder’s arms.
Ivy gave the couple a knowing look while they held her kids giving a nod to say ‘secrets safe with me’
Noa fit right into the family, easily fitting into conversation with Ryder and Mathew. Bailey watched her in awe as she settled into the Barzal’s world.
Later, the fire was lit and everyone was cuddled up now the kids were asleep.
Bailey looked at you, cuddled into Mat’s side with a blanket you signed
she’s a good one, son
He looks at the half asleep girl in his arms and back to his mom before signing
I know, I think I love her

Kim Chaehyun | Short Meeting II
Tumblr media
The day after his short meeting with Chaehyun, he found himself going to school early in hopes of seeing her as soon as he could. Fortunately for him, she did show up early, even though it was with one of her friends. Shen Xiaoting.
Just as how she was the day before, she greeted him with a smile, saying good morning to each other before minding each other’s business. Xiaoting on the other hand had a confused look, as she never thought that Chaehyun would greet you, despite having almost never talked to each other previously.
Did he ever get to have a proper conversation after that night? Nope. Deep down he wished he could come up to her, yet he felt low. He did not have the confidence to come up and strike a conversation with said person.
And now, here he is jogging and wishing that he was brave enough to actually talk to her. Unlike the day prior, the sky was quite clear, showing no signs of rain coming down in the next few minutes, or even hours to come.
He sat at the same gazebo as last night, secretly hoping that he’d get the chance to meet up with her once again.
Not like it’d happen, right?
He thought to himself as he looked up at the sky.
“How I wish things would happen the way I wanted it to be.” He said,
“Oh? What did you wish for, Y/N?”
The sudden voice of a woman from behind caught him off guard, as he instantly slid to the side to see whose voice it was from.
It was none other than the person he wanted to see himself. She had a loose ponytail, which was the sight he never got to see at school, as she would always let her hair down. The sight made his heart throb, hoping that what was in front of him, wasn’t a dream.
“Ch-chaehyun? How did you-?”
“I was behind you when you were taking a jog. But you were so busy with your music that you didn’t realize I was catching up to you.” She pouted, before proceeding to sit next to him.
“Ah. I’m sorry about that. What brings you here?”
“Oh.” She lifted the plastic bag on her hand, which was supposedly dinner judging by its packaging.
“I was picking up this chicken my mom had ordered. I wish she had told them to just do a delivery. But instead she told me to go since I rarely ever do.” She rolled her eyes, with you chuckling at her rant.
“But I guess it’s fine. Because by doing this, I get the chance to have this.”
“What do you mean?” He asked, not wanting to get his hopes up.
“What do you think?” She gave him the side eye, staring for a few seconds before letting out a giggle.
“I’m just messing with you.” She continued, “I’m getting you back for what you said yesterday, teasing me about how people couldn’t not remember my name.”
He could only chuckle at her response, even though he felt a little bit down that she was only joking.
“Or am I?” She said,
“Stop teasing me or I’ll take that dinner of yours out of your hand.” He playfully extended his hand, to which she responded by pulling away and laughing.
“Anyway, I should get going. My mom would be worried If I’m not home in the next 5 minutes.” She got up, and stopped in front of the gazebo before turning to him.
“See you tomorrow?” She asked, to which he replied.
“Yeah. See you tomorrow, Chaehyun.”

Home Game - Tyler Townsend
Request: no.
A/N: I’ve been really into Sweet Magnolias again ever since the second season came out so I figured I’d write a little something.
✰ ✰ ✰ ✰
It was a minor league game, $15 a ticket for a good seat, the midsize stadium still using benches instead of fold down seats like a real stadium would. This wasn’t the Braves or the Phillies or some other major team, this was the Riverdogs.
Your seats were just above the dugout, directly in the sun while it was still out, and you were thankful you’d worn shorts. At least for now, later you’d complain, mostly just to annoy Tyler because you kind of hated baseball and this was the third baseball themed date he’d taken you to in a month.
Just last week he’d taken you to the batting cages on what he claimed was a date but was really just you watching him practice. Not that you didn’t sincerely enjoy watching him practice just that you wanted something a little more exciting for date night. At least here they had concessions.
You turned your head away from the game for a second as someone shouted about popcorn and cotton candy, the sound of metal hitting a ball the only thing you caught before the crowd on your side of the stands cheered. Tyler flung an arm around your shoulders, pulling you closer as he kissed your cheek, “did you see that? Right outta the park!”
“That’s gonna be you someday, for the Braves or Cardinals or some other impressive team.” You replied. Baseball dates might not’ve been your thing but you couldn’t deny that you loved the way Tyler’s eyes lit up just talking about a future in Major League.
“You’ll have to endure a lot more games if I get signed to the Braves someday.” His tone was light, teasing you cause he knew you weren’t the worlds biggest baseball fan, but the implication that you and he would still be together that far into the future wasn’t lost on you.
“Those’ll be box seats, and like, real big spreads and shit.” You laughed, watching him as he turned his attention back to the baseball game. “And I’ll get to sit around and tell everyone how my boyfriend is a pro baseball player.”
Tyler’s cheeks tinged the slightest red, contrasting his tan as he kept his eyes on the game, trying to fight the smile that crossed his face. Maddie had been bugging him about bringing you around for a family dinner or even a margarita night, though he definitely wasn’t going to subject you to his mom, Helen, and Dana Sue without some kind of warning. He’d done a pretty decent job of ducking, making excuses for why he didn’t want them to meet you yet, most of the time swearing that this was nothing serious. But Maddie knew he was lying.
“You can pick the next date,” he promised at the end of the night, as you walked down the ramp to the parking lot, his sweatshirt keeping your upper body warm. Some of the crowd had dispersed after the game ended but you and Tyler hung around for the fireworks even though you were freezing.
“This was fun,” you admitted, laughing when he gave you a skeptical look. You climbed in the passenger side of the car, fixing the vents so they blew right on your legs, “I just need to remember to wear pants next time.”
“I told you it was gonna get cold,” he replied. Tyler checked his phone, a text from Maddie telling him to drive safe in response to his letting her know that he was on the way home.
“I wanted to look cute for you, sue me,” you joked, leaning over the dashboard to kiss him as the line of cars moved slowly out of the parking lot.
-
“Have they?” Dana Sue raised her eyebrows questioningly as she took a sip of her margarita, sitting around the island in Maddie’s kitchen. Helen snickered as Maddie’s eyes grew wide.
“God I hope not, Ty won’t even tell me her last name!” Maddie replied, “every time I ask about her he just says ‘it’s casual’ or ‘she’s just a friend’.”
“I think ‘just friends’ is an understatement, Annie said they got in trouble the other day for some less than appropriate behavior in the hallway,” Dana Sue replied.
Maddie covered her face for a moment, trying not to laugh. She knew what Kyle told her and he’d said that Tyler was crazy about you. She was doing her best not to push the subject, wanting to give her oldest privacy and let him come to her when he was ready to share. But she was also getting impatient, she wanted to meet you, figure out if you were good enough for her son. She’d asked Cal and Kyle and even Annie a couple times but she felt bad being sneaky like that, collecting information behind Tyler’s back.
“I’m trying so hard to give him space but I wanna know. I like knowing what’s going on in my kids’ lives!” Maddie insisted just as the door clicked open and then shut.
She had told Tyler that she was going to be at Helen’s for margarita night and honestly, that had been the plan but then Bill was late picking up Katie and Kyle didn’t feel good and suddenly they were in her kitchen drinking. The house that was supposed to be empty wasn’t and Tyler came walking into the kitchen with you behind him, still wearing his sweatshirt.
“Mom.”
All three women were sitting there staring at him but, to her credit, Maddie spoke first, “Ty…I meant to tell you, we ended up here tonight.”
“I can see that.” He replied, looking between them and you, clearly uncomfortable with the situation.
“I uh, maybe I should…go?” You asked, eyes on Tyler. He might’ve been giving Maddie the runaround but he’d told you from the beginning that he was reluctant to tell his mom he was dating. He told you she made a big deal out of everything and he knew she’d embarrass him and he didn’t want it getting to his dad who would tell him not to get blindsided in the middle of baseball season.
“No,” he grabbed your hand before you could turn back to the door, “it’s okay, uh, mom…” Tyler took a deep breath and then launched into introductions, his mom and then Dana Sue and then Helen, all three women smiling from ear to ear as he called you his girlfriend.
“Well it is so nice to meet you sweetheart,” Helen said, getting up to give you a hug, “think I saw you in my law class?”
“Yeah I was on the jury,” you nodded.
“So, what did you two have in mind for the rest of the night, hate to think you’d be here all alone when we were supposed to be at Helen’s?” Dana Sue piped in, before Maddie could get to you.
Tyler flushed and you squeezed his hand, “just gonna watch TV, got a full house so…always kinda noisy at mine. Sorry bout that, Ty didn’t say y’all wouldn’t be around.” You lied.
Maddie cracked a smile at that, her son’s face a dead giveaway that you weren’t telling the truth about your plans. You looked so convincing though, maybe she shouldn’t have but she liked you already. “Well I’m glad I forgot to tell him I’d be home cause I know he never would’ve brought you around on purpose.”
“Mom.” Tyler huffed. He’d been dodging questions about you only because he felt like everyone always knew everything and had their noses in everyone’s business. He wanted something that was just his, that he didn’t have to share with anyone else and that something was his relationship with you. When you’d started dating, so soon after he’d broken up with CeCe, he didn’t wanna say anything and now that things were more serious, he felt like he didn’t want everyone in his business.
“Well it’s nice to meet you,” you replied, “sorry it’s taken this long, I guess. I tend to drag my feet too so,” you shrugged at the end of your sentence, mostly trying to give your boyfriend an out. Something Maddie clearly picked up on as she looked between the two of you.
“Have your parents met Ty?” She asked, Helen covering her mouth with her hand as she tried not to laugh at the guilty expression on Tyler’s face. He’d met your parents more than once, he’d even been over to dinner a couple of times with your whole family.
“Uh, once or twice,” you admitted.
When margarita night was over, and Helen offered to drive you home when you finally said you needed to leave, you sent Tyler a quick text, apologizing for the interruption but assuring him that it was nice meeting his mom. You’d seen Maddie around and Tyler always talked about how great she was so you would’ve been lying if you said you weren’t anxious to actually meet her.
Tyler would’ve snuck up to his room the minute the front door closed after you if it wasn’t for Maddie calling him back to the kitchen. She been waiting all night to talk to him without her friends around. As much as she loved Dana Sue and Helen, sometimes they didn’t let her get a word in edgewise and she got stuck listening to them parent her kids.
“So you two are real serious, huh?” Maddie asked, cleaning up the dishes left in the sink as Tyler lingered by the island, not sitting down.
“Yeah, I guess.” He shrugged, trying to seem nonchalant about it. He wasn’t sure if it was some kind of superstition, that if he said it out loud it would be true and it could go wrong, but he didn’t like talking about it. “We’ve been kinda, hanging out.”
“Kinda hanging out?” Maddie almost laughed, “Ty, she seems like a real sweet kid, maybe you should bump that ‘kinda hanging out’ up to actually dating so she doesn’t think you’re just, not serious.”
“We already talked about it,” Tyler replied, “can I go upstairs now?”
Maddie sighed and turned around, wiping her hands on a dish rag as she leaned against the kitchen sink, “Ty...I trying real hard not to push you into something that makes you uncomfortable but, I feel like I’m not clued in anymore. Like you got your life and its separate from everyone else’s in this house. I’m not asking you to sit here every night having a heart to heart with me but can we at least be honest and keep each other in the loop with our lives.”
“I just don’t wanna jinx anything,” he admitted, sheepishly, finally taking a seat at the island. “After CeCe and I broke up I wasn’t really upset or anything and I felt like maybe something was wrong with me. Or maybe I was like dad...I could just walk away without feeling anything.”
“Hey, you are not like that.” Maddie assured, “you are the most caring, thoughtful, person I know Ty.”
“I just,” he shrugged, “she asked me out and I said sure not really thinking it’d be different than CeCe but it is...but this is high school I mean, I don’t wanna stay in Serenity forever and I don’t wanna be that guy who marries his high school sweetheart just cause everyone says we’re so serious and we should.”
“The only people whose opinions matter in this relationship are yours. I know Serenity can gossip something awful and I know it’s hard not to listen, trust me, but don’t let them tell you how you should be feeling or what the future looks like.” Maddie replied, “if someone makes you happy Ty, if being with them feels good and comfortable and familiar, that's all that matters.”
Tyler nodded, letting Maddie’s words sink in. He had a lot of plans for the future and he knew that you did too, plans that didn’t fit into that neat little Serenity box that Maddie’s own life had been up until a year ago. But when people talked long term, asked if things were that serious, Tyler always fought the urge to admit that maybe they were. Maybe you wouldn’t settle down in Serenity and spend the rest of your lives running kids to baseball practice and dance lessons but he liked the idea of a future.

Part 7
Warnings: Plot Fluff
It’s Friday and the soft launch of Shuriri has been excellent. Everyday the girls learn more about each other and they have been forming such cute habits with each other. Ri has fallen into a habit of kissing Shuri’s lips for everything. While Shuri always wants to hold hands or touch in some way. The entire school knows they belong to each other. “Girl, what are you and Bae doing for early dismissal?” Ri is putting up her books and grabbing her bag as MJ pouts on the side of her.
“We are going to the mall. My Mom set my nail appointment for today. Shuri insisted on taking me then we may do some window shopping.” “Ugh jealous but have fun my Mom wants me home. Something about needing to clean my room. Anyway I am curious. I know your Mother is ecstatic about you dating.” Riri panics because she has not told her Mother nor Sharon yet. She’s been so wrapped up in Shuri that she has skipped their sister talks the last few nights.
A warm sensation takes over Ri from behind but she is stiff from her panic still. “Hey Baby Girl...Did I startle you?” Riri chuckles at how observant her girlfriend is; it's sort of annoying how much she picks up on. “Shuri Baby it was not you.” Tipping back, Ri looks up at Shuri from below wrapped in her arms. “I just remembered that I haven't talked to my Mother or Sister about us yet. They may kill me.” Shuri nods and smiles. “Yikes! I hope they dont it would break my heart. How about I meet them when I take you out Sunday.” “Sunday? ” “Yes Rihanna Williams, I want to take you on a date Sunday afternoon. Dress cute but comfy for me please.” Riri loves when Shuri is assertive with her but in the gentle way she does it. Ri kisses Shuri on the lips. “I suppose we are going on a date Sunday. But please listen closely on how to get them to like you.”
Shutting the lockers and saying goodbye, they talk about how to prepare for “meeting the parents”. Shuri lost her Father also so she knows not to bring that up. All the facts are helpful. Pulling up to the mall with music blasting the rest of their day is full of more surprises. “So your Mom cannot wait to meet me?” Riri’s warm tone cuts through the music. “She has been expecting to meet you for years now. I talk about you all the time. Now that we are dating, finally she is over the moon.” Turning to face her girlfriend, Ri's eyes are soft, taking Shuri’s hand and she kisses the back of it. “Well I can’t wait to meet her and let her know how good a job she did with raising you.” “Oh please don’t she might cry. Also I have to change what I want to say to your Mom now. I can’t tell her how sexy her daughter is.” Riri pushes Shuri away as they laugh and get out of the car.
While at the nail shop Riri lets Shuri pick out the color she gets on her nails and is surprised to see Shuri wanted to join her and get a manicure. She even gets her right pinky painted to match. Walking out of the shop Shuri hears her name being called. “Yo Shuri! Shuri!.” It’s Xavier. He has been acting so odd the past few days. Making rude comments, about Shuri not knowing how to handle Ri and how she needs a “real man” the attitude is giving real predator vibes. To keep from beating his ass Shuri just has not spoken to him as much but it seems she couldn’t avoid him today. “Xavier what’s good.” Shuri’s hold on Riri tightens and her jaw tenses up. Xavi is wearing a sinister half smile with his eyes set on Ri. Something is not right, even Shuri’s touch does not ease her anxious feeling she gets with his eyes on her.
“What’s good with you? We haven’t spoken in a few days. I know you not icing me out over some bad jokes. You are my best friend. Can you at least just introduce me to your shawty?” Shuri is keeping her body between the two, cutting her eyes at him hard. She is pissed because she can feel how nervous Ri is. It’s time to go but what is the best way? “Hmm that’s interesting considering you've been making all types of comments about her since Tuesday. But I’ll play along. Ri this is Xavier Dalton a homie of mine and Xavi this is my Girlfriend Rihanna Williams.” Riri nods, saying hello tensely. “Hello Rihanna damn you fine. I can’t even believe Shuri was able to get you.” “That’s not how..”Shuri is cut off by Riri who is none too pleased herself. “Actually Daddy knows I’m the lucky one.” Ri turns Shuri’s face to her and kisses her deeper than she ever has. Riri does not want to make a scene but she’s over the nonsense. “It was good to meet you again Javier right?” She quips once they break apart.
Xavi’s smile drops leaving him with a dumb and angry look on his face. Ri takes the lead moving them now in the opposite direction. Shuri stops them once they are out of his sight. “Either you got pissed back there or you just were feeling yourself but Damn. You can’t just kiss me like that with no warning.” Ri was proud of herself. “Maybe a little of both. His vibe was all off. I could tell he was trying to play you and you don’t deserve that.” “He’s always been a little bit of a hater but he really is mad this time. I just don’t like how he looks at you. I wanted to knock his face in.” Riri runs her hands up Shuri’s arms. Touch is genuinely her love language. “You don’t have to stoop to that level. He’s not worth it.”
“You are correct I don’t but I will for you.” Shuri Huffs “Baby you do not have to fight. I am just glad he didn’t ruin my surprise.” Shuri’s face lights up. “You have something for me?” “I do indeed have something for you. I hope you will like it ” After a short walk Shuri and Ri arrive in the tailoring section of the department store. A saleswoman meets them and hugs Riri. The woman offers to have Shuri step into a dressing room and she comes out with a beautiful black suit that is nearly a perfect fit. Shuri is in awe, turning to look at a very comfortable Riri watching her. “I hear all the major players have tunnel fits.” “Baby Girl, when did you have time to do this? How did you know my measurements?” “Rihanna stopped in last night to pick up her honors blazer and saw it. She raved about how she had to have it for a special someone.” The saleswomen answers. Beaming Riri admires her girlfriend in the mirrors. She stands right in front of Shuri running her hands up thes down the front of the blazer.
“Your measurements were not that hard to guess after your little show the other day.” Ri has an eidetic memory, it's nerd shit. The smirk on Ri’s face says it all and Shuri just kisses her quickly as the tailor completes the last adjustments.

The Frozen Secrets of Twilight pt-3
Pt-1 Pt-2
Tumblr media
Edward picks at his food while Emmett talks about his last hunt rather loudly.
The cafeteria buzzed with the usual lunchtime chaos until (name) was the first to notice Bella standing nearby with her tray.
"Uh, hey guys," (Name) said while motioning towards to Bella approaching the table. Bella's presence seemed to bring an unexpected tension. Alice, catching the hint, sent a smile Bella's way, "You're more than welcome to sit with us."
"Yeah, I'll make some room. I already stole your seat once," (name) added, attempting a lighthearted joke in an effort to befriend this new girl.
"I'm (name) by the way," she continued, but Bella, giving a small smile, chose a seat closer to Edward than (name). Not wanting to embarrass herself further, (name) turned her attention to Emmett's conversation.
Rosalie and (name) shared a glance, the unspoken understanding passing between them. While (name) didn't have any reason to dislike Bella, she sensed that Rosalie did. The atmosphere remained awkward until the bell rang, signaling the end of lunch and relieving the tension that had hung in the air.
(Name) walks beside Alice and jasper towards biology dying to ask the question plaguing her mind.
"Have you seen anything about me and Bella?" (name) asks, curious to know if the girl who has captured her brother's interest could potentially become a friend. Alice stops in the middle of the hallway. "Jealousy." The word poked at (name)'s heart; the idea of someone disliking her in her first year of high school unsettled her. However, she chose to push aside the unease. "Good thing the future can always change!" (name) says with a forced smile, attempting to brush off the tension before rushing to class. "See you guys at home!"
Upon entering, (name) immediately takes notice that her brother isn't in his seat as he typically would be. A quick glance to the back of the class reveals Bella, and their eyes meet. An unspoken understanding passes between them, and they exchange smiles, sharing a moment of camaraderie. As class proceeds, (name) can't help but wonder about Edward's absence, a sense of curiosity lingering in the air.
Shortly after class begins, (name) notices Bella being escorted by Mike to the nurse's office. The reason for this sudden departure remains unknown to (name), leaving her curious and slightly puzzled. With no answers being told throught the rest of the school day (name) was left to wonder. The unanswered questions hovered in her mind, adding an air of uncertainty to the remainder of the day.
As (name) waits for Edward to show up and take her home, an hour passes by without any sign of him. Frustration and disappointment settle in, and she eventually decides to begin walking home, resigning herself to the fact that he may not be coming.
"Hey, (name), glad to see you finally made it home," Rosalie remarks casually as (name) storms off to her room, visibly upset about having to walk all that way. "Someone's mad," Both rolling their eyes in shared annoyance.
"What took you so long, Bug? We were getting worried!" Esme exclaims, enveloping her daughter in her welcoming arms. "Long day at school?"
(name) shakes her head, breaking away from her mom. "Ask Edward," she responds sarcastically while continuing to her room.
The night passed with ease and a new day arose. Class went by fast but with Edward hunting with Emmett (name) was left alone in her classes.
"Hey." Someone says from behind (name) in the lunch line, it was Bella. "Sorry about you having to walk home yesterday Edward was at my place." (Name) desperate to make friends, shrugs while putting fruit on her tray. "It wasn't that far of a walk." The two pay in silence. "Would you want to sit with my friends since he isn't here today?" Referring to Edward who (name) hasn't seen since lunch yesterday. "I guess.."
"Great." (Name) follows Bella to her table and is introduced to all of her friends.
"You're the new Cullen girl right?" Angela asks and every set of eyes is trained on (name) as she nods. "Are you, like, dating Edward?" (Name) stares at Jessica with a look of disgust. "Gross that's my brother." The girl shrugs while eating a bite of an apple. "Since everyone else in your weird foster family seems to be dating each other it was the next logical thought."
(Name) remains quite and the tension grows until Eric interrupts. "We're going to the beach in La Push you should join!" (Name) thinks for a moment before answering. "I guess I could go when?"
"After school." Bella answers, "I could drive you if you need a ride." With no other reasons (name) couldn't go to the beach she agrees.
"I keep thinking Eric is going to ask me to prom, but then he just doesn't," Angela says with a tone of disappointment as the others suit up to surf. "Then ask him; you're a strong, independent woman." (Name) smiles at the two girls; she dreamed of having a friend like that. "I am?"
"Yes."
Even though she has Alice (name) wants a friend who isn't family.
Jessica makes her way over to ask for help just as three boys approach. (Name) watches as one says Bella's name. "Jacob." (Name) doesn't even need to see Bella's face to know there was a slight smile on her face just by the tone in her voice. The interaction piques (name)'s interest
This Jacob sits next to Bella and asks if she's going to be surfing. "Definitely not," she responds while handing him a Twizzler. (Name) can't help but glare at the guy. "You guys should keep those two company; Bella's date bailed, she invited Edward." Mike scoffs while Angela stands up for Bella's invite. "I think it's nice she did. No one ever does."
"That's cause Edward's a freak." "You got that right."
(Name) clenches her jaw tight, she wasn't trying to be sensitive but they're trash talking her brother right in front of her!
"You guys know him?"
"The Cullen's don't come here."
"I-I gotta go." She stands up and pushes past the two people in front of her. "What's her deal?"
"That's um.. Edward's sister. Whatever her name is." (Name) begins to rethink the need for friends after Jessica's comment as she was walking off.
The walk home left (name) stressed, she's never been good with direction. "Was it right of left?" Sticking out her hands in 'L' shapes the girl trying to figure out the way home begins to get stressed. "Why didn't I just stay with those rude people." With her eyes begining to burn from tears she sits down on the side of the road.
After a couple seconds of panicking she stands up and wipes her tears. "I'm sure Edward will find me if I'm not home by dark." She says trying to stay positive.
~First POV~
'The sun already set damn.. I'm gonna freeze to death!'
*Crunch*
I glance across the street where the sound came from, while quickening my pace.
The street starts a dramatic incline as I approach the top of a hill. 'Great it's a full moon making everything far more creepier than it needs to be.'
*Snap*
Without thinking twice I start sprinting. 'There's no way that was just a rabbit that was definitely a whole large branch at least' I try swallowing but my saliva has already became thick as I ran.
While focusing on running I'd almost missed the sound of claws scratching against the concrete quickly catching up to me. Catching something in the corner of my eye I move right just barely out of the way of a huge hairy paw?
I narrowly avoid a tree as I sprint into the woods away from whatever that was. My body lurches forward as pain explodes under the left side of my ribcage. My breaths turned shallow to help ease the pain as I continue to run for my life.
Turning my head only too see nothing, my heart sinks as I misplace my foot.
"Shit."
My eyes go wide as I start to tumble down the hill through the trees. I wrap my arms around my head and scream as a rock jams into my back. A tree breaks my fall and knocks the air out of me.
Gasping for air I clench the dirt beneath me, I push myself off the ground only to lean against a tree. A howl comes from above me giving me the adrenaline I needed to continue.
My hair damp from the ground sticks to my face as I run. Leaping over fallen trees and avoiding bushes I narrowly avoid tripping over my already swelling ankle. Light shines through the trees and I let out a sob.
I struggle to climb up the ditch as the sound of footsteps get closer. My whole body was on edge as I grip a small tree to hoist myself up, when I'm thrown backwards I scream. My head bounces off the ground as I land.
"I was almost there" I whisper as a tear slides down my dirty cheek.
I need to survive, I HAVE to.
Searching for a branch or a rock to defend myself, I keep an eye out for the monster. Just as catch something moving something digs it's claws into my right side, in the opposite direction I was looking.
Screeching in pain was the only thing I could do as it throws me against a tree. It's dirty maw is the only thing I see as it lunges at me. I move my arm to protect my face and it digs into my forearm.
It's long claws dig into my quads as it snaps the bone in my arm. A blood curdling screams leaves my throat right as I find a heavy rock. Slamming it into the things head was my only line of defense. It let's go and stumbles back before attacking once again. I didn't hesitate to hit it again. Whatever it is it's clearly stronger than me especially with one working arm.
My only chance of survival is to flee. I throw the rock without it noticing and it catches the monsters attention enough to let me slip away.
Holding my left arm with my right I limp as fast as I can. Something warm runs down my forehead, slowly down the side of my nose, and down into my mouth.
The metallic taste in my mouth was the least of my worries. If I didn't find a way home I'm screwed. 'Where's Edwards he's promised to protect me..'
I lean against a tree to look around trying to find anything that looks similar. Blood and tears mix as it falls from my face.
Digging my fingers into the bark to try to ease the pain as I push off the tree a small piece comes with me.
My foot catches on a tree root and I fall to the ground. The odd silence in the forest finally came to my attention as I lay on the cold and wet forest floor. I finally realized Edward wasn't here to save me; he had left yesterday to who knows where. No one knows where I am or even the fact I'm not with my friends.
Not having the strength to continue my breath escapes me. My breathing turns shallow from my side injury and all my pain comes flooding my senses. All I can do is cry barely whispering the word "dad"

SKZ reaction to your lesbian/gay parents
Warnings: None!
♡ Bangchan ♡
SUPER STOKED ABOUT IT.
He had a smile on his face the entire time you guys drove over there.
As soon as you step foot on your parents doorstep, the door swung open. Revealing both of your moms.
“Welcome home guys!” Your biological mom hugged both of you.
“You must be Bangchan!” Your other mother says, bringing out a hand to shake his.
“Yeah! You can call me Chris. I’m so happy that I got to finally see you guys!” Bangchan smiled like a little boy in a candy shop.
Your biological mom was bi-sexual at first, but after your dad left you and your mom because she was bi-sexual, she met a co-worker.
You didn’t have a father growing up. But you were grateful having a father figure in your life which was your other mom.
♡ Minho ♡
You guys were out shopping until you bumped into your dads.
“Our little Y/N/N! (Your NickName). Your other dad brings you in for a tight bear hug.
“Oh yeah! This is my boyfriend, Minho.” You introduced your dads to him.
“So this must be the famous Lee Know! Boy, he’s very handsome!” Your biological dad compliments.
Your mom and your dad split up when you were 14.
Every since you found out about your biological dad having another lover as the same gender, you supported him and was happy for your dad.
♡ Changbin ♡
Both of your moms were moving into a new house.
Of course they didn’t have much hands to help, they asked for yours and Changbin’s help.
“Thank you for helping us! Y/N, you picked a good guy!” Your other mom snorts.
“What do you mean?” You chuckled.
“Well, I’m sure you can’t pick up heavy things! Changbin got muscles!” Your mom joked, causing all of you to laugh.
Your biological mom got a a donor to conceive you with your other mom.
You didn’t even ask questions about it!
♡ Hyunjin ♡
The boy was a bit shocked that you had two dads.
You didn’t really mention them before in front of him.
You all were at a restaurant, talking about random things.
Hyunjin felt comfortable around your dads.
Your dad just met your other dad a few years ago. While you were out and about with Hyunjin.
♡ Han ♡
What a cutie!
Han has spoke with your moms over the phone a couple of times but never actually got to meet them.
You guys planned a way to hang out and stuff.
Your biological dad passed away when you were just a baby because he had a tumor.
But your biological mom was happy again after she found your other mom.
“I heard you’re a prankster!” Your other mom says.
“Ahh, yeah. Did Y/N tell you?” Han laughed.
“We used to do pranks on each other all the time! I got good ones if you ever want to try them out!” Your biological mom gives him advice.
♡ Felix ♡
It was Sunday and your dads invited you guys out to cook out.
Let’s just say that Felix got along very well with both of your dads.
“I heard you guys used to be in a underground dance battle.” Felix spoke.
“That was a long time ago! I can’t dance like you guys now, I’ll break my back!” Your biological dad joked.
Your biological dad had a rough marriage with your mom, basically a failed marriage.
You don’t even talk to your mom because she did you and your bio dad lives a living hell.
But Felix knew that, he never brings it up!
♡ Seungmin ♡
It was during tour.
You and your moms were brought behind the stage after their concert.
“Your guys’ performance was beautiful!” Your other mom praised.
“Thank you! You must be Y/M/N and Y/O/M/N (Your Moms Name and Your Other Moms Name).
“Yes! And you’re that savage boyfriend that our daughter has! Did you know she was savage too?” Your bio mom winked. Causing your face to turn red from embarrassment.
Your bio mom just got married to your other mom.
So you brought them to one of your boyfriends concert for their honeymoon.
♡ Jeongin ♡
It was Christmas!
Your dads came over to give you and your boyfriend presents for the special holiday.
“Merry Christmas, to our future son-in-law?” Jeongin reads the card before opening the present.
“What? Don’t look at us!” Your dad laughs.
“No! It’s okay! I’ll be happy to be your son-in-law!” Jeongin gleamed.
You all spent your day spending time with each other.
Your bio dad cheated on your mom with his now-husband when you were a child.
You were kind of upset but not at the same time. But you knew your mom and dad used to fight every single second. It bothered you until not anymore.
I kind of suck at these! But I do my best!

under the stars together (part five)
part one/ part two/ part three/ part four/ part five/ part six/ part seven/ part eight/ part nine/ part ten(smut)/ part eleven& epilogue.(smut)
werewolf!OC x Fem!Reader
warnings: Daddy issues AND Mommy issues, mentions of illness and surgery, acts of violence, mentions of blood & gore, smut, werewolf smut,
word count: 2,800 (about)
summary: the sun is hot on your face as you ride into the unknown. home is to your back and you don't know what the future holds. Just how you like it. You've run here all on your own, and there's nothing tying you down, It would be so easy to pick up and start running again. It's freeing, It's terrifying. You could run, but you're choosing to stay.
Despite what he said, things were uncomfortable for days after. He didn’t crack jokes as often and when he did, you had to force yourself to laugh. Cole even missed walking you to your bike one day, which hurt a little bit. It was only once but you’d come to like those little interactions and you hadn’t realized how much they’d come to mean to you until he stopped. Luckily it was just once and he was back to his routine the next day. After that, you started making an effort to meet him halfway. You couldn’t remember the last time you’d made a friend. Most of the people you were close with you’d met years ago and had no clue why they stuck around you. But you tried with Cole, and things seemed to go back to normal.
Until one day you came in and Cole looked ready to keel over. Cole gave you a tight-lipped smile as you came in but it did nothing to relax the grim look on his face. “Hey spitfire, we’re going to be closed for three days next week,”
“Are you sick? “ you asked, ignoring what he’d said entirely.
“No, just didn’t get a lot of sleep last night,” he sighed, pitching the bridge of his nose.
“Why are we closed next week, does it have something to do with why you didn’t sleep?” you asked, guessing correctly that the two were connected.
“My family is coming into town.” He said “family” like they were a pack of wild animals coming through town instead of people. You had assumed that Cole’s family lived in town, that seemed to be the case for most people, you’d never guessed that he, like you, was an outsider to this place.
“And that’s bad?” you pushed.
“No- not bad but stressful. I don’t see my family often, usually just at Christmas so they’re going to be clingy, If I kept the shop open they’d come and try to talk to me, they’re going to want to hear every second of every day since I last see them and they’re going to be pissed when I tell them I haven’t done anything. My mom is going to take over my kitchen, and since both my brothers and my sister are staying with me that means I’m going to get kicked out of my room and sleep on the couch, I only have so much room I can’t have five people under one roof and they’re bringing the fucking horses I don’t have room for horses-”
“Horses?” you asked, cutting off his rant. You had loved Horses when you were a little girl, but you’d never gotten the chance to actually in person. Cole nodded.
“Two of em, they’re getting old so my mom is shipping them up to my uncle's farm- it’s a real farm that’s not a euphemism, they can play with kids pose as unicorns shit like that but my place is just the perfect halfway point so those stupid fucking animals can stretch they’re legs and rest, god forbid I rest-”
“What kind of horses are they?” you asked, cutting him off again.
“Brown ones?” he answered.
“Brown ones, what kind of answer is that?”
“I don’t know they’re my mother's horses.”
“Are they show ponies? Or do they plow fields? Do you ride them? Are they hot-blooded or-”
It was his turn to cut you off, “show ponies I think, they did agility courses and jumped, and they’re warm-blooded they’re horses,” you rolled your eyes but let the comment slide.
“Show horses, are they Thoroughbreds? Or Morgans or-”
“Morgans!” he snapped his fingers when he said it, for the first time that day he smiled, really smiled.
“Morgans are beautiful horses, they’re very versatile, just as good at endurance riding as they are for dressage,” you said, quoting from a book on horses you’d had as a girl.
“You like horses?” he asked a little disbelievingly.
“When I was younger I did, I just remembered some of the things I picked up,” You said trying for nonchalant.
“Have you ever ridden one?” he asked.
“No, never even seen one in person,” you admitted.
“Would you like to?”
“See one or ride them?” you asked, crossing your arms.
“Both. My family would love to rant to someone who cared about horse nonsense, and I’m sure they’d let us take them for a walk through some of the backroads, they owe me that much,” he offered. You hesitated, you didn’t want to lead him on, and you certainly didn’t want to meet his family. But you wanted to ride a horse.
“If it's not too much trouble,” you said timidly, Cole burst out laughing.
“Never thought I’d see the day I’d see you, meek Spitfire,” he teased.
“What was I supposed to say? Was I supposed to threaten you into letting me ride your family’s horses?” you snapped back.
“There’s my Spitfire,”
“If the rest of your family are as bad as you I want no part of it,”
“Oh they’re much worse, but I won’t let them tease you that’s my job,”
You wanted to drop it, but you couldn’t keep your curiosity contained. You had to know. Was he raised on a horse farm? Or a farm- farm? No to either, He lived in the city, his father worked as a mechanic and his mother was from old money, horses were her passion she always kept a few around to ride at shows and ride around the countryside. Cole had known how to ride a horse almost before he’d known how to walk. His brothers and sister had taken after his mother and had taken an interest in the horses. Cole had been the only one to take after his father and look after cars instead of animals.
“He’d only just bought this place when he passed away,” he said, wistfully. “I’ve had it longer than him at this point, it’s kind of sad to think about it that way, it doesn’t feel like my place it’s still just my dad’s place that I work at.” You just nodded unsure what to say.
He told you about his siblings, Erik, Hannah, and Jake. Cole was the eldest, the other three would team up together to pull pranks on him or kick his ass when they rough housed. It sounded like he wrestled with them a lot.
It was bittersweet to hear about his home life. You’d never had a stable home life, constantly bouncing between your mom and dad, not feeling wanted by either of them. He talked so animatedly about his childhood. it was hard not to smile along with him, but you were also jealous that he’d gotten the home life you’d always wanted. Cole’s family was extensive, Uncles and Cousins, great aunts, and people he couldn’t remember how they were related to but were family all the same. It made your chest ache.
“I can see how that can be stressful, it’s always been just me and my dad, it’s not always perfect but at least that’s only one other person I have to keep track of,” you said,
“What’s your dad like?” he asked, you recoiled reflexively from the question.
“He never wanted kids. He was always kind of bitter that he had to take care of me.” Cole waited for you to say more, but you didn’t, even when he pressed lightly. How could you even begin to describe it? Your dad had never been abusive. But it was draining, living with someone who didn’t want you. You had tried so hard to do everything perfectly wondering when you’d find the thing that would make him stop hating you. It had been so freeing to realize nothing would ever make you good enough to him and you could stop trying. Freeing and also crushing.
Things had gotten better when you’d started acting like your own person, taking care of yourself, and acting more like his roommate than his daughter. But he never missed an opportunity to fight with you, and you wanted your freedom just as badly as he wanted his. He wondered if he would let you come back, or start subtly hinting that you were old enough to get your place, it was a small miracle he didn’t completely cut you off when you turned eighteen.
Your mother was different, you only ever saw her for a few weeks out of the year. All and all you’d only seen her for a few months spread over twenty years. She wanted to love you, but how could she when she didn’t know you? Her attempts to connect were sweet but felt hollow. You were her child she was supposed to love you. Still, you’d jumped at the chance to come here and help her when you heard her liver was failing and it was killing her, even if it meant undergoing the painful procedure, but that had less to do with helping her than it did getting away and being on your own for the first time.
You’d planned on staying in a rented apartment on your own when you first said you were coming to Sunfield but she’d refused, she needed you in the house.
You weren’t ready to unpack all of that with Cole. He, to his credit, let it drop and switched to talking about the horses again. His family had had a border collie at one point, but his mother had found that she preferred being the herding dog, so to speak. His family often kept dogs apparently, a trait that he’d kept into adulthood. Cole showed you pictures of his mixed breed, Ino.
“Do I get to meet her too?” you asked as he flicked through pictures of Ino on his phone.
“Sure, when you come to see the horses you can play with her too, she’s friendly,” he promised, which only served to increase your excitement.
You couldn’t help but bring it up every chance you got. Some of your enthusiasm seemed to rub off on him, Cole almost seemed happy the day his family came into town.
“I’ll see you tomorrow afternoon?” He asked, holding onto your bike.
“Yes,” you agreed. You would see Cole tomorrow, but outside of work. You would go to his house and see where he lived for the first time. It made you nervous, but you weren’t going to back down.
“And you know the way?” he asked.
“Pretty sure I can figure it out,”
“Call me if you get lost?” you rolled your eyes.
“You worry too much I can handle myself,” you sighed.
“Fine fine, see you then,” Cole relented.
Cole lived on the edge of town practically in the woods. It was a large log cabin settled in the middle of a clearing, it was a beautiful place, perfect for horses you thought. Cole was waiting on the porch when you pulled up to the house.
“You didn’t have too much trouble finding the place right?” he asked. You took off your helmet and placed it on the seat of the bike.
“It was fine, show me the horses,”
“Nice to see you too Spitfire,”
Cole walked you through his house, the second the door opened a small brown dog jumped into your lap, barking happily and wagging her tail as you scratched behind her ears.
“Leave it, Ino,” Cole said, and the dog jumped down off of your legs and went off back into the house. Cole gestured and lead you to the living room. You saw four people sitting in his warm spread out between two armchairs and a large couch, two women and two men. The eldest, Cole’s mother, stood to greet you.
“Oh look at you darling, Cole told us all about you,” Mrs. Allman said, crossing over to you, before you could resist she wrapped her arms around you in a tight hug. You noticed that her voice had the same soft southern accent that Cole’s did.  She didn’t seem to care when you went stiff in her arms. Mrs. Allman was incredibly warm, her skin was like she was burning with fever, and she smelled like clean linen and flowers.
“Mom,” Cole said in a warning tone and she let you go.
“RIght the horses, did Cole tell you their names?” she asked, motioning you to the backyard, where you could see two brown horses tied to a post with thick leather straps.
“No, he said he didn’t know,” you said. Mrs. Allman shot a dirty look at her eldest son, she held the door open for you and then guided you closer to the horses.
“Two males, Cisco and Ranger, Ranger is going to be your horse, he’s a little bit smaller and has that yellow spot on his foot, see?” She asked, pointing at the hoof.  You nodded seeing what she meant. She undid the leather reins and turn the horse’s head to face you.
Your breath caught for a moment, the animal was huge and breathtaking. “Can I touch him?” you asked.
Mrs. Allmen laughed and guided your hand as you carefully ran the flat of your palm over his nose.  “He likes you, do you want to feed him?” she asked and you agreed almost before she got the words out. She pulled an apple out of her pocket and handed it to you. Ranger sniffed and then took the apple from you, his lips tickling the palm of your hand.
“You look like a kid on Christmas,” Cole laughed, you didn’t realize he was there, but you didn’t take your eyes off the horse,
“This is the best day of my life,” you murmured, making them both laugh.
“Do you want to go ride now?” Cole asked. And you nodded. He showed you how to get on and off a few times, and then helped you get on for yourself. He didn’t touch you, but his hands hovered around your waist ready to catch you if you lost your balance. You were very proud of yourself when you sat on the saddle. Cole showed you how to usher the horse forward, how to turn, how to go fast, and how to stop.
“You’re a natural,” he laughed, you beamed at him, you felt like a little kid again.
“Knew I would be,” you couldn’t keep your joy contained,
“Ready to go for a real ride?” he asked, and you nodded happily,
The two of you took off, Cole leading the way to the path he wanted to take, it was exhilarating, the wind in your hair and the sunshine on your face.
Cole led you to a hiking trail, it was an easy slope of compact dirt. Both sides of the road were thick with lush greenery, trees, bushes, and weeds. You noticed how dull the green looked, the leaves on everything were starting to go brown and orange. somehow fall had crept up on you without you noticing.
The two of you brought the horses down to a slow walk, just enjoying the scenery and each other's company.
“I don’t think I’ve ever seen you smile before,” Cole said. You felt self-conscious as you tried to remember if you had ever smiled in front of him. You thought he was right.
“I’m just kind of stingy with my smiles I guess,” you said, you turned away running your hand over Ranger's neck.
“Then, I feel lucky that I got to see one,” he said, he was looking at you, you could feel his eyes on you, but you didn’t meet his gaze.
“How long is your family going to be in town?”  you asked.
“They leave tomorrow,”
“Will they pass through again on their way back?” you asked.
“No, there's a quicker way back home, they only stopped here for the horses, and I doubt I’d let them take over my house so soon again.”
You thought Cole might be more welcoming when it came to his family if there was just one more bed to spare.
“Oh yeah right, you’re such a hard ass, I don’t think you could turn them away if you tried,” you snarked Cole rolled his eyes,
“I’m only sweet to you, you know, most people in town think I’m mean, scary even,” he said.
“People in town think I’m mean and scary too, their opinion doesn’t mean much to me, as far as I’m concerned you are sweet,” you teased. Cole brought his horse closer to you, he could reach out and touch you if he wanted to.
“And what about you? Are the people in town right about you being mean and scary?” he asked. You thought about it.
“Not always, but I don’t get the chance to be anything else often,” you said.
“I hope you can be yourself with me, I’d like it if we could be closer friends,” he said,
“You know about my love of horses, that's my darkest secret so we’re off to a good start,” you admitted.
“I didn’t realize how much you’d like this,” Cole said, “I’ll let you know if my family ever brings anyone else up to me,” he promised.
“I’d like that.”

Don't Worry About It
part 6

Two Weeks Later
Sean got me a job down the street a week ago as a server where I could bring Abel cause the owner has two kids that sit with him. It was about 7 and Sean and Axel walked through the door "hi" I smiled "we gonna eat" Sean said "come on," I grabbed menus "i'll go tell Abel". Me and Sean have been 'dating' but I haven't told the boys yet, i've really enjoyed being with Sean but i'm trying to take it slow not to rushed into maybe the same situation. "your brother and Sean are over there" he smiled and hopped down "hey dude" Axel said picking him up.
"Don't worry about it Sean really" "Y/n set me" "your not paying bye" I smiled he sighed as I waved "I can take Abel home" Axel said holding his brother "okay!" I kissed his cheek "what time you be home?" "an hour i'd say" they nodded.
Not an hour 4 hours later I walked in the door at 12:30 trying to be quiet softly closing the door "your home late" Sean said in the dark "jesus christ Sean" I put a hand of my chest "Sorry" he chuckled "we had a rush come in" I smiled wrapping my arms around his neck "next time text me I was getting nervous" he put his hands on my waist "okay" I nodded and pecked his lips "I do have something to tell you you might be happy about" I added "and whats that?" "girl at work has an apartment open I don't need to pay to get in" he lightly sighed "okay" he said flatly "what!" "nothing whatever you want to do" "Sean" I looked up at him "I just though you stop looking" he shrugged "now that we're together or whatever if we don't work out i don't what to..do you want to live with two kids?" "I don't mind it I've said that..I like having you guys, I think they think you guys feel the same?" "this isn't my house," I put hands on my chest "and- I don't want to talk about it right now i'm tired haven't made my mind up yet...that okay?" I asked softly "yeah" he nodded "thank you" I stood up and kissed him.
I got out of the shower and changed going out into the living room, where he sat on the couch. I sat with my legs on his lap "did I sound like a bitch?" I asked "no" he lightly laughed "cause I don't mean to be you've been- you've done so for us, maybe you just need a little break from a three year old running around" "whatever you guys want to do" he moved a piece of my hair with a smiled I leaned up and kissed him "this place is always open for you and them" "thank you" I smiled.
"mom?" I woke up to and a hand on my shoulder I open my eyes and look around I was pretty much on top of sleeping Sean "yeah" I whispered "school" "sorry," I stood up "I got home late" he smiled "i'll meet you in the car" I nodded. Sean groaned turning to his side "i'll be back Abel's asleep" he nodded "okay" "thanks" I kissed his head.
"so you dating?" He said as I got it I sighed "yes" putting the car in drive, "anything else?" he said "an apartment opened we could get in...would you want to do that? Seans is great but" "yeah i'd like that" "okay i'll talk to my friend tonight" I smiled sightly "you want to move?" "i think it would be good" he nodded.
"eat it before your mom gets back" Sean said as I walked in the kitchen "what! are you doing?" they both jumped holding ice creams Abel started to giggle on the counter, I kissed his temple then took a bite he gasped and pulled it away. Sean pulled me into him "hey" he smiled "hi" I leaned up and pecked his lips without thinking I pulled away looking right to Abel "i tho't Axel was joking" he said smiling taking another bite "that was easy" I whispered laying my head on his chest wrapping my arms around him.
Week Later
Seans POV
"baby you don't have a bed" I said "I have an air mattress" ' she shrugged "let's go to the store" "i'm fine i'm gonna get more cash soon and get more stuff". I walked in Axel's room he had old fight posters that were in the back of the gym "looks good?" he asked "yeah," I nodded "want me to get some stuff for your room?" "no don't worry about it". "bye babe" I said kissing her by the door "bye honey thanks for the help" I nodded "let me know for you need anything" "okay" she nodded and pecked my lips.
Y/ns POV
We got pizza and ate on the small couch that was there where they gave us the place and a small TV. "i'm going to bed" Axel popped up from the couch "okay goodnight" I smiled "night...night Abe". "you ready for bed?" I asked Abel he shook his head getting in my lap. Seany: how is it? M: i'm good it's nice thanks :) Seany: you sure? you need anything?" M: i'm fine promise! Seany: okay goodnight M:goodnight!
Abel already fell asleep I turned off the TV, and picked him up putting him in bed putting the blanket over him I laid in my bed next to his. I couldn't sleep I was turning back and forth I grabbed my phone 2:28am I sighed and got up. I was nervous I haven't been in a place without Sean what if Ethan finds us here. I sat on the couch turning back on the TV, I grabbed my phone going on IG Sean posted on his story I viewed it and hearted it. almost as soon as I did my phone rang from him.
"Hey" I whispered "what are you doing up?" "couldn't sleep" "why?" "just cause" "that so?" "its just...didn't know how u-um safe you make me feel I guess" I played with the blanket over my lap "really?" he said softly "yeah" "you want me to come over?" "No no it's fine" " put me on facetime i'll stay on till you fall asleep" I smiled "okay"
It wasn't a school morning so Axel was still asleep, Abel was on the couch I made eggs. "t'hanks " he said and I gave him a plate sitting next to him. "morning" Axe said opening the fridge "I was just about to make lunch" I chuckled "I was tired" he yawned a knock came to the front door "must be Sean!" I hopped up and smiled "your like a teenager" he whispered. I opened the door, my smile dropped and I closed the door so he couldn't see in "go away!" I said "you need to come home and stop with the bullshit" Ethan said "go now" "come on you've been at that assholes house for a month you had your fun" I went to shut the door and his hand stopped it "mom?" Axel ripped the door open and grabbed Ethan by the collar telling him to get lost walking him all the way to the car.
