I don't think a lot of people realize that Gale gunning to get the crown and become a god is him lashing out.

Gale wanting to be a god isn't about godhood at all. It's his worth, he wants to rub it in Mystra's face that he doesn't need her. This is obvious if he meets with Mystra before the boat ride scene where you convince to not pursue godhood. In this scenario Gale is visibly and loudly pissed on how Mystra abandoned him.

He always seems so in control that people seem to miss that this attempt of a power grab is him lashing out to Mystra is similar to Astarion's grabbing and stabbing Cazador multiple times.

I know Disney has a problem with oversaturating their characters in their art, but it's especially a shame when done with The Nightmare Before Christmas.

The main character has imperfect/yellow teeth, but Jack Skellington keeps getting drawn + modeled without them most of the time. Sally has lopsided lips and auburn hair, but they're fixed and usually a bright red instead.

Which is strange to compare to their movie models...Sally is especially butchered coloring-wise.

I think I’m now caught up on the most recent updates. I’m really busy this week but I’ll work on chronologically placing the newest posts in their respective spots in the year-specific pages in the next few days 🙏🏽

As always, if you’ve noticed something I can word better, or got incorrect, please let me know so I can update to ensure I keep these pieces as accurate as I can. Things have been really hard this year, in a lot of ways. I’m really struggling right now😌I go to Europe next week and I’m hoping I can unplug and decompress, but with everything going on I also, frustratingly, have an extreme fear of being away from my safe spaces and my doctors right now💔

Anyway, I’m not as active on Twitter or IG right now with everything going on. If we’re moots on either channel, please understand it’s because, quite simply, I just don’t have the energy for it at this time. But I’m still supporting Tae and Jk with everything I have, it’s just quietly off social media for the foreseeable future.

I'm at the art museum and I'm wondering; what do you think art looks like in Star Wars?

Just looking at so many post-war and during-war pieces (mostly WWII), I can't help but wonder what art looks like in a galaxy that is constantly torn up by war.

During the Clone Wars, do people make sculptures of discarded droid parts? Are there paintings of stories of battles? Are clones' helmets eventually immortalized in museums?

What of the growing darkness in the Senate? Do others know that the system is corrupt? Is there political art of Palpatine as an evil figure, even before anyone knew that was actually the case?

Are there pictures of bodies, nightmarish, dream-like landscape depicting the horrors of war, and psychologically disturbing imagery? And don't even get me STARTED on how much art there would be of Darth Vader: an imposing figure of the Empire, the shadow of Death. The subtle dissent towards the system in artwork, the fear of being caught for speaking against it, so some artist make subtle declarations of intent and many are dragged away by the Empire for refusing to stick to established ideals.

And after the Empire falls, the collective relief. But for many, the nightmares will never cease. Art may help citizens remember the battles which were covered up in the past.

And the amount of cultures that are affected by all of this, too. Anyways, I would love to hear anyone's opinions on what Art looks like in Star Wars, because I'm an art hoe

What makes Spinel an intriquing villain to follow in Pokémon Horizons is that, he's very cunning, clearly doesn't mind crossing lines in what is ethical and all, but... his main partner Pokémon is a Pokémon that evolves through FRIENDSHIP.

He is SHOWN to care for Umbreon. His Umbreon is shown to care for him. There's no hint of ill will towards either side. Spinel clearly, absolute certainly, cares for his Pokémon, Umbreon being the number one partner. This has me very intriqued on his character and makes me wonder what is ultimate motive in helping Gibeon is.

He seems information-hungry in how he tried learning whatever he could of the pendant when stalling for time to leave. When he made a breakthrough in figuring out Liko is the key (note, Amethio did not say a word about it), he snaps. Like he unlocked some huge information that makes him unable to control his collective coolness :D Idk, he just seems super intriquing to me and I am definitely interested in learning more about him.

Y’all I fucking love filler episodes.

Give me episodes where we learn more about a characters past or where we see how they interact with others. I want beach episodes and dance episodes and episodes surrounding whatever holiday the writers like. Give me time to sit with the characters and grow to love them.

Can I run something by you about the last tbb chapters? I do believe the operative is Tech and hear me out. Apart from him sounding like Tech when he was removing the rocks after the explosion and the way he moves, and the fact that the mf never dies, I believe Crosshair is lying about “being too defective” to be one of them. The idea that the other clone that Rex and Howzer captured told them to ask him if they needed answers makes me believe that Crosshair is hiding something. Not in a bad “I’m going to betray you again” way but perhaps there’s something he’s too scared to admit

Honestly my head is FRIED about who it is. I’m like 33.33% certain it’s Cody, then Tech and now even Crosshair!

I personally didn’t think it sounded like Tech but I could be wrong of course but I feel like if it was Tech, he just didn’t seem as intelligent?? But then I think Cody because of the knife fight and a part of me thinks Crosshair would be physically stronger than Tech is. They’re both lean but I always thought Crosshair might just have the edge up on him.

I personally don’t see why Crosshair would lie about Tech being one of them or holding more secrets like I’ve seen a few people say. I think if Crosshair knew that assassins are after Omega with possibly the same intelligence as Tech because it is him, he’d know how much in danger they are and would say. It’d be weird if he didn’t.

I don’t think he has also lied to them before, he just hasn’t told them the full ins and outs of what Hemlock is doing probably out of fear and/or because he doesn’t know fully himself.

Anyway, i still don’t know what to think. My bets are swaying more towards Cody than Tech at the moment.

And I purely don’t want it to be tech because why? we’d have to watch him die. Again. Who wants that?! 😭 😂 ❤️❤️❤️❤️

I love that Gale is an evocation subclass default.

I had to wonder what the companions first reaction to a powerful AOE spell from Gale that killed multiple targets but somehow they are untouched by the magic.

Gale has so much control of his magic that turned his eye and magic to all these targets in one area and rained down hell on them while his companions,his friends, remain untouched from all the death and destruction he cast in one spell.

Arlecchino is confirmed to be cursed and we know hilichurls are cursed humans. Caterpie had similar cursed arms and legs. Not saying they have same curse but it seems to be implied it's similar. Considering her real name, Peruere, is eeringly similar to Perinheri from the latest book, I think Arlecchino's ties to Khaenri'ah are possible.

What is still left to be explained is, why does she glitch so much in her idles (as per the update trailer), what's up with the girl who looks like her dead friend Clevrie's child look, and how does Freminet fit into all this. He said he knew the previous Knave. And we know how the switch happened now. Was Freminet conveniently away at the time? Do Lyney and Lynette get adopted to the orphanage shortly afterwards?

I hope we learn these next week.

Hey everyone 👋🏽

If you celebrate, I hope you’ve been having a nice holiday 💜I’ve been super inactive as I spend time with family, though I probably will continue to be more IA on TW and IG while Taekook are away. I don’t like SM as it is and I’ve started quietly working towards personal goals while we wait for Taekook’s discharge, which is filling up a lot of personal time☺️

I’ve been considering adding Taehyung’s and Jungkook’s latest chapter, their time in the military, into the blog. While this blog is primarily used to archive their beautiful bond, I think noting their military service would be a nice way to help pass the time while we wait for their return, and it also would be another way to support and cheer them on (especially since we miss them so much).

With that being said, I’d like to get feedback on doing this since I know opinions vary on sharing this type of content. The photos I would post would come from official, public sites. They would not come from, and never would come from, questionable sources, or from places where we aren’t sure if they’re edits. They’d be public photos, public information, already publicly shared across multiple social media platforms.

For instance, I’d like to add the publicly released photos of Jungkook that have been shared during his basic training. If I were to update the blog with their time in service, I want to point out that there isn’t much substance to note with one of the two updates I have pending for him currently, so one post would be more photo based than text, but I’d still like to document them as part of his service journey. And likewise, I’d like to add Taehyung’s currently released photo, especially since we did get information attached to this, that he’s platoon commander of the training soldiers, an incredible feat I’d proudly like to note.

Please let me know what you think. I’m receptive to feedback, especially since I always want to do right by my biases🙏🏽 I have family in town, so while I will do my best to respond to all comments, I apologize if I’m slower to do so.

My goal would be to update the few small drafts I started working on tomorrow (Friday) when my family leaves, if feedback is positive towards this style of updates for the next 18 months. I will edit this later with a note what the overall feedback has been and how I’ll proceed. And for those who do share their thoughts, thank you so much!
