as for more technical side of things, i did altered a few things. mainly with flash n' jack. i made flash's berserk venom form smalles an' all black, bc of well...uh, reasons. and also jack has an actual face here lol. also while at first, i wanted to draw him with his trade-mark messed up features, but kinda end up drawing him all 'dolled up' instead lol. so i suppose, along with all other au-ish elements, his face wasn't blown off in this universe either. an' on somewhat unrelated note, i like how both jack *even some of spiderman's ones* and jonathan are usually shown to be brunette or redhead. my pref will always be with those two being redheads, but still, it's a funny thing to ponder on. another technical bit is that, i wanted both jack n' jon being unable to use their hands / arms in one of the picture, since for me it's like snaring a 'prey' and then, they are kinda useless without it too. jon can land one hell of a kick for sure, but it won't help him to push away the vampire from his neck. also no fear gas to spray from his gloves, even if it would have acomplished nothing. in jack's case, it's similiar situation. he can throw / shoot lil flames from his gloves, the only thing that all symbiotes seem to detaste, besides specific levels of noise. but if he can't do it, and it's too risky to shoot flame from his helmet, welp, he's screwed lol. an' i also wanted to use venom's tongue as bondage tool lol. it was one of those things, that i always loved about venom symbiote / carnage looks an' anatomy, is how 'bendy' their bodies are. an' how creepy they can strech their body parts as well. both, bruce n' flash possess superhuman powers in this, so nor jon nor jack is actually a match for them. but taking away even the last of their defenses is a cherry on the top. jonathan is already always spooked animal, an' with someone as dumbly tunel-visioned as jack, it take a tad more to scare him shitless. esp bc he thinks, that he's such hot shit of a mercenary, haha.

so yups, this year batman n' flash got a treat. jack and' jonathan *in comparison* got tentacles and anemia respectively. can this count as trick? i mean, i guess lol. but on bright side, jonathan is kinda bruce's bf / blood bank in this one, an' jack is....well, he's a bitch. i mean, he touched the toxin, so now flash have to 'mark' him lol.

Honestly yeah, I hated that they were spoiling their own movie in sm ways. Trailers always gotta ruin it and so true with the killer. I liked him enough I guess but so much of it didn’t make sense. (plus scream six already gave us a similar reveal earlier this year so i was even less surprised) YESSS ugh they’re making more Zombies movies and I’m happy yet a little sad cause they aren’t that good, and while Zed was my introduction to Milo back in 2016/2017 (w/e the movie released), the quality just sucks and I can’t bear to get through the movie. Wifey comes home today and the dogs don't know it so they officially hit peak wretched baby behavior yesterday and have slumped into depressed baby behavior today. I do have work today but it's my short day so I'm thinking after I'm done with work and before I head to the airport with doggos to pick up wifey, I'll wash dishes and dogs.

That way wifey doesn't feel like the house is exactly as she left it you know? I definitely know it's not in worse shape I was very careful to always clean up my presence, but I want her to not have to clean up things that were here a week ago when she left either cuz that sucks and just because I was busy and had a hard time getting around to them shouldn't make them her problem. Most things like that aren't a big deal, or are things we specifically planned for (e.g. she emptied the litterbox right before she left and it's self cleaning so it only needs to be done once a week) but the dishes were a fluke that snuck by us in the last couple days before she left and then I literally never once had the spoons to get to them (heh) while Wifey was gone. Which I expected! I kinda figured that I would either do them all on Friday or maybe if I was very lucky do 1 round a dayon the others. So at least I'm on schedule lol.

Anyway, I did also clean the tub this week, and pick up the laundry in the bathroom, so I figure I might also do a quick wipe down in bathroom (sink, toilet, tub, sweep floors, take out trask) since it usually only takes 15 minutes and would make the whole room look really nice at this point. That plus shiny dishes and dogs is bound to make wifey happy coming home.

Anyway, my morning plans are as follows:

throw chili in the crock pot for dinner tonight

In the next hour I've got some work tasks to do, a little documentation stuff to prep for the day basically, and then it's off the the races for my short day with clients, my one on one, and then me getting the dogs ready for the evening!

Managed to finish all of my work prep stuff even the thing I was sure I wouldn't manage! So yay to that! We're still at "all essential AND all extra credit tasks completed" for each phase of my day so far, though obviously I'm not gonna elaborate on the work stuff for privacy reasons.

Feeling good about the day, feeling good about my ability to get shit down now that I've been back on my meds for a week, feeling pretty good overall! I do think I might be headed for a no show today but I'm fine with that because it'll just give me an extra 45 min for dishes and one less note to write before I switch over to household tasks this afternoon.

I am contemplating doing an extra credit task of throwing on new sheets and remaking the bed fresh and clean for wifey since Jaxxine crunched her yams all over this one all week on top of chewing on the fitted sheet like a pacifier to calm herself lol. But we'll see how that goes.

I've managed to get both blankets into the wash, and the quilt is already in the dryer, so I figure I'm definitely remaking the bed now. I'm most of the way through the tough jobs and then all that's left is the easy or fun ones. I do have to leave in about 3 hours tho, so I'm definitely running low on time. Gotta prioritize a bit and wittle down my remaining tasks. Dinner's all set but for some rice if we decide to make it. I may just empty the dish rack and not worry about washing a 3rd load unless I finish everything else in time. Jaxx definitely needs a bath next, then the tub a wipe down, the pets fed, and me a shower. At that point we're likely to be ok the edge of time so I'm thinking remake the bed and then kitty fun den and then prep the dogs for our trip.

theyre both easily persuaded to eat too much but for different reasons. dave bc hes like "fuckit why not" and gray bc hes a pushover who sucks at speaking up when he cant eat any more. dave is also more likely to Willingly eat more without outside influence whereas gray will stop when hes full unless outside influence pressures him to keep going

🩲 Does your character have any particular clothes that they like to wear when their belly doesn't feel good, especially if they're feeling really bloated? What would they wear at home vs if they had to go out?

i dont think either of them wears anything particularly special if theyre going out with a full tummy, although gray might try to choose a looser shirt. at home tho theyre both wearing their worn out raggedy-ass Around The House clothes or jammies

dave has an insane capacity for his weight so when hes really stuffed his tummy straight up Looks uncomfortable. people who dont know him are like "good god is that guy ok" but his friends are like 🙄Classic Dave. when gray is really stuffed people are just like Dam. That Guys Belly Is Really Round

dave i kinda answered in the above question. fullness is super visible on him. gray on the other hand has a round tummy even when he hasnt eaten so it takes A Lot for him to Look stuffed

idk if dave has like a proper day job or not but among his friend group of amateur filmmakers hes the effects guy & he does A Lot of snacking when hes working on things at home. he usually doesnt notice bc hes so focused but when he snaps out of it he has to take a rest. gray works at a gas station & he has a pretty big capacity so being Too Full at work isnt a common situation for him; normally the scenarios that lead to him eating too much are when hes with his friends. if he has to work right after one of these situations he might be moving a little slow bc he gets really sleepy when hes full

dave will eat anything. idk if he has any particular favorite. grays mexican so he definitely has his fair share of mexican food but i think hes also fond of indian food & mediterranean food. he likes a good curry. he likes a shawarma

for dave, probably home. he does a lot of his work (during which he eats a ton of snacks) at home. hes not immune to overeating other places tho, esp at his friends houses when they get together for dinner. gray is most likely to eat too much when hes with his friends bc theyre always giving him their scraps when theyre full & 85% of the time this is Not At Home

both of them will keep going almost to the point of sickness but, like in the first question, for different reasons. dave will either be unaware of how much hes eaten until he hits his limit or he'll just be Bein Stupid, whereas gray hates wasting food & doesnt speak up for himself & if someone (directly or indirectly) makes him feel pressured to eat hes gonna eat

Yk sometimes I think abt that period of time I had more to do than there were hours in the day & I get real jealous of myself

Back then I was preforming basic self care, keeping up w/ chores & working on personal projects regularly on top of the “more to do than hours in the day”… now I can barely change out of my pjs

It’s easy to convince myself that getting out of that ridiculous work schedule was bad for me, that w/o that structure I’m a pathetic sad sack that can’t do shit but that’s not true. I only worked on my personal projects so much bc I only had 15 min to myself most days & there wasn’t much else I could do w/ that time. I was only keeping up w/ chores bc I was living w/ someone who regularly lost their shit at me for not doing it when they wanted me to even tho that time of the day was impractical. I only preformed basic self care bc I couldn’t let myself fall apart or everything would crumble around me

I was so tired & I only grew more so everyday

Now I can do whatever whenever so I let myself get dragged into the time sucks I couldn’t before. Now I’m surrounded by ppl who just want to hangout & relax so I can’t bring myself to ruin that. Now I barely have any responsibilities so even though I’ve fallen apart, the world keeps spinning

I still need to get my act together now but that’s in large part bc I ran myself so ragged back then. I wanna draw comic but I,,, just can’t today

Therefore I will be here brainstorms some trivial ideas of the siblings

Their weekends during high school:

Jules mostly spent his weekends on part time jobs. Occasionally hang out with his friend also (they’re both busy they majorly just hang out at school a lot)

Viv used to go outdoor to keep herself looking busy to Jules (she didn’t wanna let him know she’s a loner) and sometimes she’d spend time taking long trains to places and bought stuff back for her bro pretending that she went on trips with high school friends. That gets too costly and meaningless over time tho

Then after a while she started to look into cooking. It’s mainly to save money (their family isn’t particularly poor but for reasons after they moved out their parents supports them very little.) They don’t get to have fancy food outside, let alone Viv’s crazy appetite. So she tried to make them herself. That later becomes what she does the most during weekends especially for complicated recipes that can take a whole day to prepare. (She’d also like to try baking but their place doesn’t have an oven)

Tho for the time near the beginning of the comic she’s became less active and a lot of time just lying in her bed doing nothing while time flys away (there were other special factors that caused her inactivity. But I guess she count as being depressed at that time)

When it comes to food:

A funny little thought I’ve been considering putting into the main comic if I could at some point is that they dont order pizza.

Reason being it’s a lil bit expensive (in my country) and also that viv feels bad and unfair when they do. Cuz Jules would have like 2 slices while viv would end up eating the rest

It’s not news that she eats a lot but even so she likes to keep things “fair”. And what she do is whenever they have any meals together she’d have just slightly more then him for the main dish, then eat along side when a huge amount of carb like white rice or noodles or a whole loaf of bread

But they can’t really do that with pizza. Even if they intentionally leave a few slices leftover she’s gonna eat the leftovers soon anyway

Animals:

Jules likes animals. Almost all animals. Viv doesn’t really have anything for animals.

Jules would pat stray dogs and cats and Viv’s just watching him do that. He once thought about actually have a cat as pet and even asked viv about it. But after some discussion they decide it’s not that easy to just own a pet like that. So he continues to just petting animals outside

Social media:

Jules likes taking selfies but it’s only for his own entertainment. He’s not good at social media in general.

Viv prolly has a priv Twitter or a blog only for following things and venting thoughts

Itll be funny if she also writes short stories sometimes. Secretly. But idk that’s prolly not too in character

Their grades at school:

Viv has average grades for all subjects except math. She’s insanely good at math. She just thinks it’s the most simple thing ever

Jules has bad grades in general especially sucks at math. The thing is I wanna say the only one thing he’s quite good at would be English(or any second-language kinda subject) but that’s cuz I’m not American and so English is the main second language thing we studied at school… it would not make sense in a comic I already writing in English lol. So too bad he just sucks at everything now (Except sports and art if those count)

They’re both good at sports. Not to a point to stand out, but alright. Neither of them do work-outs but they both naturally have nice muscle mass

Jules actually can draws quite decently. But he never really developed it. Viv doodles but it stays on a normal doling level

Eren doesn't actually work out all that often. He’s always been athletic, so his exercise comes in the form of playing sports, but he doesn’t really go to the gym outside of playing/practice.

Loves cake pops, more often than not “treats himself” to one after an exam or assignment, or whenever he feels like it lmfao. He basically eats it all in one bite, keeps the stick in his mouth to fidget with until he finds a trashcan. 

Likes seeing you in his hoodies because, well, it’s his hoodie on you; but mostly because of the size of the actual hood on you. He thinks it’s so funny but also pretty cute how the hood alone swallows you up. 

Grocery shopping with you is one of his favorite activities. He rarely goes by himself—if not with you, then with Mikasa or Armin—and all he really does is follow you around the store and occasionally put some stuff in the cart, but he still loves it. He likes running and then jumping on the cart like it’s a scooter. 

No matter how many makeup tutorials he watches, or how many times he watches you do your own makeup, he doesn’t really understand how it works lmfao. He likes watching it, and he thinks you look pretty if wearing makeup is your thing, but he baffles him how a little tube of concealer brightens your under eye.

Speaking of which, he sits criss cross applesauce either on your bed or on the toilet if you’re in the bathroom, while he watches you do your makeup. Counts the steps in his head, always confuses the contour and bronzer. It’s okay, he’s learning. 

He both likes and dislikes FaceTime. He likes the convenience of it (and will abuse it by calling you even tho you’ve just barely left his house), but he would much rather just go and see you; so he does. Unless there’s something keeping you apart, Eren will make the effort and the trip to go and see you, even if it’s late at night. 

He gets warm very easily, but always has some sort of coat/outerwear on him, even if it’s just a light windbreaker. He usually ends up hanging it over your shoulders or telling you to wear it because you “look cold” when he wants to take it off. 

He walks just like a half step behind you; technically still by your side, but trailing you by the tiniest amount. That way he gets to be with you and watch you, and also steer you away from anything/anyone else he sees ahead while you’re walking. 

If he notices your shoelaces are untied, he gently pokes your shoulder to get you to stop, then bends down and ties them for you. 

His phone case is brown leather, and has your initials engraved at the very bottom in a very tiny, dark green font. 

Likes walking around with you at night so congrats on having your own personal guard dog for Safety lmfaoo. Sometimes you guys don’t even talk; he just wants to hold your hand and wander around, and just be with you for a little bit. 

He is the one putting hair ties on YOUR gear shift and around YOUR wrist. Marking his territory lmfaooo

Learns to like coffee in college, and learns your Starbucks order pretty quickly. He’s got a very small addiction, but he always buys you a cup when he gets his own, so at least it’s beneficial for you. He doesn’t usually have much an extreme sweet tooth, but he takes his coffee with quite a few pumps of syrup and/or sweetener. 

Eren loves hugs, and once he starts getting them, he refuses to go with out them. Back hugs are his favorite, whether it be you hugging him from behind, or him doing it to you; either works for him, both feel like heaven. 

You know when it’s time to head home after a party/hanging with your friends because Eren will drape himself over you and gradually apply more of his body weight the more tired/drunk he gets. Regardless of whether or not he’s sloshed, he’ll still press very light and innocent kisses onto your neck and ears. 

Turns out he really likes getting kisses on his cheeks. It always takes him by surprise; his eyes widen and his eyebrows raise just a bit, but he usually evens out his expression before you pull back, so you don’t see. What you do see is the sorta glazed over, happy look in his eyes, and if you look closely, you might see his pupils dilate, too. 

He actually doesn’t mind reading, he just never thinks to read in his free time. When he does remember, and what he’s reading is interesting to him, he finishes the book pretty quickly—a few days, maybe a week at most—it’s kind of impressive. Then he goes on to not look at another book for a good five months lmfao. 

Asked you what detergent and fabric softener you used on your sheets, then bought the exact same products to do his laundry with. 

He picks you up pretty often. It’s not always tossing you over his shoulder, or carrying you bridal style, but if he needs to get to something behind you in the kitchen he’ll just. Just pick you up, turn, plop you down, get what he needs, pick you up, turn around again, and plop you right back into place. Like a doll. 

Actually very good and very meticulous when it comes to cleaning. Not a single hard water stain in sight on your dishes. Sparkling countertops and tables, your oven has never looked shinier than when he’s done with it. 

Doodles on his notes when he’s bored in class. Doodles on your notes if he’s bored in class and you’re there, too. 

He claims to not get jealous easily, but he definitely does. His methods of dealing with it are either to (a) pout (usually only happens when he gets jealous of someone you’re telling him about), (b) find an excuse to pull you away from this other person, (c) be extremely cold to this other person, (d) pretend to be sick/tired/hungry as an excuse for you to be concerned about him/dote on him in front of this other person (this is his favorite method). 

Will push your phone down/into your face if you’re laying down using it or just scrolling through your feeds. Thinks it’s peak comedy, always runs away with a little shit grin on his mouth. 

He’s always tuned into you, and sometimes physically turned to you, even in a larger conversation with other people around. Finds a way to pull you into the convo if you’ve been on the quieter side, nudges at your side under the table to bother you when you’re distracted, frequently looks at you even if someone else is talking.

Like every natural disaster, it came without a warning.

It started off like every other day. Wake up, go to RAD, do student council duties, go home, sleep, repeat. Of course, there would be an occasional (read: frequent) occasion outside of the standard norm, but today was not one of those times.

“Here you go!” You handed Diavolo your latest finished report. “I’ve even separated the approved and rejected request forms and sorted them alphabetically for easier reading.” You said proudly. Sure enough, the Prince quickly thumbed through one of the piles and made a noise in his throat that sounded positive.

Next thing you know, he gives you one of his iconic smiles. “Excellent work as always, MC.” He tells you. “Your help is always appreciated! Thanks to you, we’ve made a tremendous dent in all this paperwork. We couldn’t have done it without you.”

The praise he was pouring on you felt so good. You try not to visibly react to it, but your brain dumped a massive pool of serotonin from his words alone. Hell, you can even feel your cheeks warming up. It always felt good to be praised by your peers, but there was something about the way Diavolo praises you that fuels you to work hard for the next one. While you were chasing that high and not wanting to be rude you simply replied with,

“Thanks, dad.”

And all of Devildom seemed to freeze over. You could hear Lucifer’s pen dropping to the floor behind you while Mammon choked on something somewhere else in the room. There were no sounds of papers being written or even talking. All eyes landed on you as the reality of what you said started to sink in.

Oh fuck, did you call the Prince of Literal Hell your Dad? Well, he’s such a huge guy and acts almost exactly like those kind-hearted fathers you always see on social media in your realm. It doesn’t help that your actual dad kinda sucks, so maybe this is projection at work. Sadly, the damage has already been done. You could see Diavolo’s face turn from confusion to amusement in a matter of seconds.

“I...I…” Your already red face got darker when you heard the faint snickering coming from Barbatos. Fearing that your rapid heart bursting through your chest, you can only manage to squeak a “Bye!” Before dashing out of the building and out of the academy.

So here you are, holed up in your honorary room at Purgatory Hall while your D.D.D. continues to blow up on the nightstand next to the bed. You couldn’t go back to the HOL, not immediately at least. You felt so embarrassed that you called your housemates’s semi-boss your father.

At least the residents at Purgatory Hall understood your human err. Solomon did give you some shit about it, but that was a given because, well, it’s Solomon. If he wasn’t teasing you about this, then you would have bigger fish to fry in Hell. Simeon was the most sympathetic person about your current predicament while Luke was just happy that you’re hanging out for a few hours. He can complain about the demons later.

You just hope this shitshow cools down soon. Maybe a nap will calm you down.

Hours have passed. Still afraid to look at your phone, your only indicator of time passing was Simeon coming up to your room with a tray of tonight’s dinner with a side dish almost overflowing with cookies courtesy of Luke. Bless these angels, both of them.

And sure enough, your phone stopped vibrating non-stop. Before you could deduce that the battery died, a singular buzz proved otherwise. Damn it.

Still, you couldn’t avoid the brothers forever. They’ll probably kick up another storm of messages since you haven’t replied to them initially. With a defeated sigh, you grabbed your phone and unlocked it. for the MC game: my MC for your game is a short "girl" who wears a lot of oversized stuff in the early 2000s. when they come into modern day and see the discussions of things like being trans and nonbinary and the difference between gender identity vs gender presentation, they feel a lot more comfortable dressing femininely (still loves oversized tho, aint nothing wrong with that) while identifying as nonbinary. it results in a gradual confidence boost and, whereas their loved ones remember my MC as constantly cracking jokes but the sense of humor being very self-deprecating, their sense of humor evolves into being a lot less based on their self (after reading "yo that wont help your mental illness" online) and now they actually, finally, start laughing at their own jokes

they go from this "my resting face is a small smile and im awkward and shy" to being very giggly and still awkward but more outgoing (bc now a baby's got a sense of self-worth and doesnt mind taking up as much as space as they used to). one of those "i like being around you bc your laugh makes me smile and you laugh all the time" kinda people, yknow?? plus, very polite. they were in college to be an animation student and rip them, technology in animation has changed a LOT since the 2000s, we dont even call the program "(Adobe) Flash" for Flash Animation (think Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends, that style is called Flash) "Flash" anymore, the program is called "(Adobe) Animate" now smh gotta retake ALL of those tech classes, your drawing fundamentals are good, but the times have changed alas. it kind of sucks bc they were good at studying and actually took notes and would actively practice, just trying to be a good student and now most of their notes are outdated and not relevant to the industry

How do you feel about gender roles in advertisements? For example: When there is an ad on tv that portrays a gender role (eg: women cleaning, cooking × men not being able to wash dishes properly)?

The television ads feel limiting even to me, and I mostly identify as a woman (for example: I'm really bad with children, I don't want children, etc. so constantly seeing the "good mother" stereotype on tv is making me feel like an alien), and I'm really curious how you feel about it. Do you find it offensive and rude?

Also, I just realized I've never seen any advertisements and tv ads that would portray nonbinary persons? (maybe I'm just stupid tho xD).

I shoot ads on sight. I hate them and youtube got soooooo terrible! Usually my adblocker works just fine, but nowadays I watch yt mainly on my tv and the tv app doesn't have an adblocker. Eternal suffering T.T But really, a 30min video and yt throws FOUR ads on me! (And I know the creator, he certainly didn't put those ads there.)

Ads are supposed to create a false idealised world. Mother, father, older son and younger sister, a dog, a house and everyone is smiling and the sun always shines. I'm kinda used to the fact, that everything is binary around me, what actually sucks is, when I start to compare that pretty house to my situation (little flat in a cheap neighbourhood with lots of very, well, simple people around me). It starts to annoy me only when I'm forced to misgender me on purpose. For example when I have a message box and I have to choose a way of adressing me, that's only binary (Mister or Misses). Then I'm in the situation, where I have to think of how I must appear to them in order to get, what I want. Do I have to fake male or female? It's both wrong, so usually I go with female, because it doesn't rise questions. But for my health insurance I have to fake male every time, because I want them to pay my transition and they only accept binary trans as valid trans. That sucks soooo hard. Otherwise I won't get testo. And then I haven't even started with gatekeeper doctors.

So, yeah, to sum up my rumbling: I'm used to the fact that everything around me thinks in binary categories. I usually just ignore it. It's like people always misgender me on default, and most of the time it's simply too much of a hassle to correct them. I'm used to it. It only becomes a problem when I have to squeeze myself in those categories, because annoying public authorities can only think in binary.
