Orchid - an innocent moment devolving into something that’s not. 

You had been up for nearly two hours now.

You had slid out of bed with little resistance as Leona was completely exhausted from yesterday’s shenanigans, having to deal with his entire family really seemed to sap his already nonexistent energy. You didn’t want to disturb him but found yourself too restless to fall back asleep, exiting his room with no idea what you could do next.  Luckily you run into his mother who invited you to sit with her, shedding some more light on young Farena and Leona that you would have never discovered otherwise.

As the hours tick on it’s nearly lunchtime and Leona still hasn’t joined you, though you can’t help but think that’s by choice rather than him just sleeping in.

“Could you wake him, dear? We should all have lunch together.” His mother sent you off on a mission that you were grateful for, feeling a little awkward as the conversation ran dry.

“Leona!”

You announced your arrival with a loud cry of his name, loudly closing the doors to help rouse him from his peaceful sleep. You could already hear him grumbling at your entrance but it wasn’t until you crawled into bed next to him that he peaked an eye open, wearing a disdainful expression.

“What?”

“Don’t what me! It’s time to get up and have lunch. Your mother is—” Leona groaned and cut off your sentence, rolling over in bed and deciding he was going to block you out. “Hey! Don’t act like that! Let’s just go have lunch and then we can do whatever we want after.”

You’re pushing on his shoulder, not too hard even if you doubted you could actually hurt Leona using your full strength. CONTEXT: You two are in an established relationship already.

The one moment in his life where he is no longer the servant, but the master. This time, he kisses your lips, your neck and everything he's entitled to. In reality, Vil neither likes nor dislikes PDA. He's kind of indifferent to it. The only reason he doesn't do it with you is because it would have bad consequences for both of you for his work as an actor and model. The most he can do is walk hand in hand with you.

Even though he doesn't show it much in public, everyone will know that you two are dating. He'll make sure of it, even if it's just information on the internet or him straight out saying it. On the one hand to protect you, because only an idiot would try to mess with Vil Schoenheit's partner. On the other hand to discourage anyone who has the slightest interest in you. “Honey, they’re with me. Do you really think you can even get to my heels? So, don't bother them.”

The only possible problem for you is that he's going to be more strict now that you're dating. From the outside it looks like he can be mean and demanding with you. But the truth is, he wants you to look your best so people know why he fell in love with you. He wants others to see on the outside how beautiful you are on the inside.

But of course, sometimes it's too much and you'll challenge him. Be stubborn and carefree. The best part? He's so into it! Your way of teasing each other.

He kisses you every now and then when you're alone. But when you put him on this mood, all his affection mix with boldness intensifies. According to Grim, they have a hard time saying no to people, but when they absolutely need to-- they're very serious and a bit intimidating. "You're a real sap sometimes, you know that? Then again, when you bare your teeth it's no joke."

While they won't say no to helping others, they prefer to keep to themselves and avoid drama.

Yuu is sometimes a bit distrustful of Ace and thinks he's tricking them if he offers to do anything nice (2024 Player Birthday Greetings).

Penguins have this adorable courtship ritual where the male gives the female a smooth pebble, if the female is impressed by the pebble she accepts the gift and mates with the male

I know that jade, Floyd, and Azul aren't penguins, but i thought it would be so cute if their s/o gave them a pebble and basically proposed but not knowing what it meant.

And for the beast-men (Leona, Jack, Ruggie) i thought it would be cute if there was a special beast-men way of courtship, I couldn't think of anything though, but then i remembered that for a lot of mammals (and animals in general) grooming is a form of bonding, so what if licking was a form of courtship?!?!

Leona: he awoke from his nap when he felt a pair of hands running through his hair, he sniffed the air, realizing it was just his s/o he closed his eyes once again, surrendering to the comforting feeling of your hands, he hated to admit it but he loved when you played with his hair, it was something he looked forward to and expected. what he didn't expect however was the sudden wet feeling that graced his cheek his eyes shot open and his head snapped in your direction

"so soon? at least wait till we graduate"

your so confused, he realizes that you probably dont know what you just did

"for beast-men, your lick was you asking me to marry you you dumb herbivore"

he wont admit it but his heart was pounding in his chest

Jack: he had finished his classes for the day and was walking around the campus grounds, when he spotted you his tail started to wag a bit, he attempted to stop, annoyed that he was giving away how he felt. he walked over to you, he wrapped his arm around your waist pulling you closer to him you smiled up at him, kissing his cheek, he smiled at you and walked with you to the ramshackle dorm, you guys sat in the guest room you had been working on you had been pretty bored all day and wanted to do something to make you laugh, why not lick your boyfriend see what his silly reaction would be, little did you know the implications behind this supposedly innocent action. as soon as your tongue brushed his cheek he was off to sofa and staring at you in shock, he moved so fast that your tongue was still hanging out of you mouth

"i-im not ready"

his voice was shaky and his tail was wagging at a super sonic spread

"i mean you need to meet my parents and my siblings, and i dont have any money, i mean were still in high school, marriage is a very large leap"

you were so fucking confused Marriage? when you asked what he was talking about he looked at you confused

"you licked me... you want to marry me...right?"

you blushed and told him that in your world its just a weird thing to do. he sighed in

"so no marriage then, good, i love you but im not ready for that yet... try again in a few years"

he winked, his tail giving away his feelings

Ruggie: you had gotten some powdered donuts from Sam's store earlier and you were super excited to eat them, you rushed to your dorm hoping to avoid the food thief you called a boyfriend but it was useless, he could probly smell them from 3 miles away, he saw you running smelt the sweet scent of donuts and took off after you, he caught up quickly, snatching the box from you hands

"watcha got here shihihi"

he held the box out of your reach and took a donut out, he quickly shoved it into his mouth as you pouted, you loved him to death but god was he annoying sometimes you noticed how he had gotten some of the powdered sugar on his nose and an idea of revenge sprung into your mind, you grabbed the collar of his shirt and pulled him down to you

"you gonna kiss me~" he teased you, he wrapped an arm around you resting a hand on the small of your back while his other held the donut box.

you licked his nose, he tensed up, his eyes widened and he stumbled back almost falling over

"i-i dont- i mean-" he turned around, he grabbed his ears and pressed them down, trying to calm himself down, he had never felt so flustered before, but could you blame him? his s/o just asked for his hand in marriage "i accept but... so soon?"

you looked at him confused, he took a moment, realizing that what is a marriage proposal for beast-men might not be the same for humans, but everyone was aware of the tradition, then it clicked, you weren't from here, you had no idea what you had just done. his blush was still there, and to be honest he was dissipated, he licked you cheek "that is a proposal for marriage" he admits, looking away embarrassed, he shoved the donut box back into your hands and quickly walked away mumbling a quick "i love you" his tail was small, but it was wagging as he zoomed away from you.

Octavinelle (penguin esc courtship)

Floyd: he hated working at the cafe, it was so boring, why would he work when he could be with his little shrimpy? he found you outside of the ramshackle dorm, you were on your hands and knees digging round a pile of rocks

"shrimpy~" he lifted you up and hugged you from behind "what are you doing?"

he asked, examining the rocks you held in your hands, you didn't answer, instead you picked on of the rocks you had and handed it to him, it was smooth, and had a faint blue undertone to it, he squealed and snatched it out of your hand, he wrapped his arms around you, squeezing you till you felt like you were about to burst, he kissed you passionately before skipping off to tell his brother and Azul, you just stood there, confused as to why your boyfriend was so happy about the rock you gave him, i mean sure it was cool but was it that exciting for him? a couple hours later there was a knock on the door to the ramshackle dorm, you opened the door and say Floyd standing there frowning slightly

"do you know what a rock means"

you shook your head and you swear it looked like he was about to cry

"so you weren't asking me to marry you?"

you shook your head again, now understanding why he was so upset, you hugged him and kissed his cheek promising him to marry him one day, as soon as he heard that he was happy again, hugging and squeezing you all night long.

Jade: he was observing the mushroom he was growing, they had a strange mutation that he hadn't seen before and was eager to study, he was writing down the differences and comparing them to known mutations when suddenly you burst into his room clenching something in your hand, he turned to you smiling at you, he closed his mushroom guide and walked over to you, kissing your forehead and ruffling your hair, you hold out your hand and show a small smooth rock to him, he blushed, hugging you tightly

"are you aware of what your asking me?" he asked, his voice shacking lightly as he hugged you tighter, part of him wished you meant what mer-people mean when they give rocks, but he knows you arent used to the tradtions and culture in this world

he pulled away slightly and when he saw your confused face he smiled sadly "in merfolk culture you asked me to marry you" he chuckled as you blushed "i want to be the one to give you the rock dear" he mumbled into your hair he pulled away caressing your face before picking you up and taking you to the couch to cuddle.

Azul: he was in his office doing paper work and for the cafe, he was stressed, his hand was starting to cramp from the amout of writing he had been doing. the door to his office opened and you entered, his eyes lit up as he say you, your presence always made him feel better.

"hello my love"

he smiled at you softly, he open his arms for a hug and you wasted no time crawling into his lap and hugging him tightly, he kissed your shoulder, you reached into your pocket and handed him a pretty rock you had found earlier, his faced flushed with a blush

"m-my love? i- i mean y-yes ill marry you, but at least meat my family first, do you have a venue in mind? a dress? i can help you look- wait your not proposing? oh... you dont know do you"

as disappointed as he was that he wasn't going to marry you he chuckled and laughed

"my beloved your little rock was a proposal of marriage"

he smirked at you, watching as you face as you realized what you had done, he kissed you shoulder and cheek again

"just know love.... i will say yes, i will always say yes to you"

a couple days later when you walk into his office you she the rock you gave him on the shelf behind his desk, it was in a glass container, when you asked Azul all he said was

"its special to me, i wish to keep it forever"

summary - the lights are out in the scarabia dorms. you were nowhere to be found when the lights went back on, so jamil goes out searching for you.

genre - fluff

notes - this is the third time silver made a cameo in one of my fics, so im writing for him next hehee

you were on your desk reviewing your notes for the upcoming quiz. that was the reason why you came to class early. you didn't study enough yesterday, so this was the only time where you're able to grab all the answers you need for the quiz. your study time was interupted over someone calling your name from afar. "mc!!!"

you glanced outside the door to see who called for you. it turned out to be kalim. he was waving his hand at you. you got up from your desk and went up to him. "hey kalim!" you greet him back. kalim lets out a genuine smile in reaction. "hello there too, mc! sorry if i interupted you while you're in the middle doing something-"

"to which you apparently did." jamil cuts him off which made him surprised. kalim looks back you while awkwardly laughing. "heh, jamil's probably right, mc." you had to assure him that you weren't bothered at all. "oh no kalim, it's fine. i don't mind at all." you told him. "really? if that's so then, what do you say i invite you over to the dorms after school?" he asks if you'd be willing to come over to the scarabia dorms.

"sure! i have nothing else to do after school so i'll definitely go." you nodded as you agreed to come over at the scarabia dorms. kalim then leans into your ear to whisper something. "jamil also wants you to be there too. it's a good thing you agreed to come over." his voice could still be heard by jamil. "i heard that, kalim." he didn't sound so pleased. kalim pulls away then started to laugh. "oh, i must've whispered that so loud!" he says.

"anyways, we'll be heading off now to prepare for class. see you at the dorms, mc!" kalim lets out a wave at you as you did the same while letting out a smile. your happy expression soon then disappeared when jamil started to look at you with a glaring aura. you rolled your eyes back at him and he still looked displeased.

while making their way to class, jamil lets out a sigh. "kalim, must you really insist on inviting mc over?" he asks the boy; who had enough confidence to invite you over to the dorms, unlike the one who was implied to have a 'liking' towards you. "well, why not? you do like them right? this could be your chance to grow a close bond with them!" to his words, jamil didn't felt any encouragement at all. he looks at him with a dedpanned expression and sighs after. "i won't butt in on you both, trust me!" kalim adds. "though, i would be watching you two at a distance-"

jamill had enough of his blabbering, so he decides to cover his mouth. in attempt to make him stop saying another foolish thing. "you must've forgot that we have classes to attend, so enough saying such nonsense things now." kalim didn't know how to respond to jamil so he just goes along with it.

you walked up back to your desk to continue on with your study. but unfortunately, time had passed so fast that the bell started to ring. you had no more time for studying. "oh, screw this." you cursed under your breath. "ehem." you looked at silver as you heard his voice next to you. you had noticed that you were blocking his seat, which was why he called you. you expressed an 'o' shape on your mouth. "ah right. apologies, silver." you hurriedly went back to your supposed spot, then he goes to sit down on his perspective seat. you and silver were seatmates after all.

you began to put the notes inside your bag. "it seems that you haven't finished reviewing." silver notices the paper in your hands. "yeah, i'm sorta cramming right now." you explained to him. "if you were to supposedly cheat, i will have you warned that you would be caught in the act very easily." you let out a chuckle at his sudden strictness side. "what made you think that i'll cheat? i won't do such a thing." you told him.

but after you had responded to silver, he started to doze off to sleep. "oh, silver." you let out a sigh at the sleeping boy beside you. "you don't tolerate me cheating, but it's okay for you to sleep unnoticed?" the irony made you super stressed out. you shook his shoulders in attempt to wake him up. "silver, wake up!" you said in a quiet voice. luckily, he immediately opened his eyes as heard you. "oh my, i must've dozed off to sleep again." he says. you could only let out a sigh to his response. now your other task for today was to be able to make silver awake at all times.

classes had now already ended. this was already the time where you go to the scarabia dorms as you promised to kalim. when you had arrived at the longue, kalim suddenly appeared infront of you in a blink of an eye which had you startled. "mc, you arrived so early!" he tells you. "really, was i that early?" you asked as kalim nods in response. "yeah, jamil probably had something to catch up in his basketball club so he isn't here yet." he explains. "but don't worry, food is now already prepared!"

you looked over at the food which made you gasp in surprise. "wow, now this tastes good! i've been starting to feel hungry too." you told kalim. "feel free to eat up, mc! you need get all that energy too." kalim reminds you. you began to grab a piece of food that was on the table. you took a bite and its taste was delicious as usual. "jamil made this, didn't he?" you asked kalim.

"yeah, do you like it?" you nodded at his question. "i sure do. he's a great cook." you told him. "that's jamil for ya! i'm sure he'd love to hear that from you." your cheeks went red when kalim reminds you about jamil. "does he? i doubt he does." you let out a sarcastic laugh but kalim didn't seem to catch it. "believe me, he will. trust me." he tells you. after you had finished eating, you had just remembered the box of cake you had inside your bag. "how could i be so forgetful?" you shook your head while sighing.

"kalim, i forgot to give you this. don't forget to share that with jamil too!" kalim took the cake box from your hands. "ooh, you brought in food too? you shouldn't have mc, but thanks!" he beamed with a smile as you did the same. "you're welcome-" your sentence had suddenly been interrupted by someone who you didn't expect to pop out of nowhere.

"and whatever is this gift that you presented to kalim, mc?" he instantly grabbed the special-wrapped food box of cake in his hands. kalim was shocked to see him appear so suddenly. "JAMIL?! i thought you were still back at the basketball court." he points it out. "it's cake, jamil." you told jamil. "i bought that for the both of you." you told kalim as he still had suspicion towards it. by knowing that, you had instantly gave up on it.

"tsk, the look on your face says it all." you let out a sigh. "i guess i'll just have it back then." you took the box of cake off his hands but he refuses to give it to you. "just why do you want it back ,exactly?" the sly smirk on his face made you even more annoyed. "i was thinking that you might not like it, so give it back to me." you grabbed the box off his hands but he still held onto it so tightly that you couldn't get it. "it'll be a waste if you had it back, wouldn't it?" that's where you had given up on jamil. you let go of your hands off the cake. "you win. it's all yours then. i just had a feeling you would refuse, but i guess i was wrong." you said. jamil could tell the fake genuine tone on your voice.

kalim nervously laughs in between your conversation with jamil. "okay, you guys sounded so aggresive back there with the way you interacted. let's all keep a cool act, alright?" he says while trying to calm the both of you down. jamil didn't need to hear anything from kalim. "as if i would make an attempt to keep my cool whenever mc is around." the two of you rolled your eyes at each other. "kalim, where's the restroom? i need to be excused for a bit." you asked him. "oh, just down the hallway to the left." he points the direction at you.

you let out a 'thanks' to kalim before you headed off to the restroom. you didn't went to the restroom to cool off your grudge towards jamil. you just needed to use the toilet for obvious reasons. kalim looked at jamil with worry on his face. "i think mc is upset, jamil." he tells him. "them saying that they need to be excused already means wanting to stay away for a bit."

jamil lets out a laugh at kalim's response. "they're not upset. why should you assume things that would cause a misunderstanding?" kalim decides to not say anything towards it anymore. he began to sigh. "okay, fine. if that's how you guys get along, then who am i to have a say on it?" he says as he shrugged his shoulders.

the two of them started to gasp loudly in shock the moment the lights had turned off from all over the dorms. everything was dimmed black. "AHH- THE LIGHTS ARE OUT!" kalim yells. "don't panick kalim. the lights will be back on in a minute." jamil says. "but everything is so dark? i can't just stand here still while waiting." jamil was fed up with kalim at this point. then they heard your voice echoed through the hallway which has caught their attention.

"GET AWAY FROM ME!" kalim lets out a loud gasp as he recognized your voice. "is that mc?!" he sounded horrified. jamil's eyes widened when he had heard you from afar. the lights then turned back on in just a quick minute. "oh, thank god the lights are back on!" kalim sighs in relief. he then grabs a hold on jamil's hand. "we have to go check on mc!" he says. "i'll be the one to go after them."

jamil stops kalim from going with him."they seem to be have been caught in a dangerous situation. i will have to check on it." jamil insists on checking you up by himself. "i wanna tag along! i also want to make sure that they're safe too." jamil shook his head and had already parted away from kalim. "just stay there, kalim. there's a possiblity that the situation would become even dangerous as we get there. stay with the others and don't do anything careless while i'm away." he reminds him before he went off to the restroom to where you were last headed off to.

"mc." he knocked on the door as he called for your name. jamil didn't want to immediately barge into the restroom as it was a wrong thing to do. "mc, are you there?" he knocked on the door again, but there was no signs of you being inside the room. to his luck, he glanced at the floor and noticed footprints that came outside the restroom's door. the supposed person's footprints seem to had worn dirty muddy shoes. "an intruder?" jamil wonders. he observes more of the footprints, and in result; it had appeared to lead to the exit of the dorm. "they got away?" he muttered under his breath. jamil began to take action and sprinted his way to the exit.

kalim noticed jamil running as he passed by. "jamil, what happened to mc?" he asks him. "kalim, there's a supposed intruder that caused the blackout within the dorms and mc's sudden disappearance. so whatever you do, just stay there and do not get involved with anything that could lead to danger." kalim wanted to say another thing to jamil but he had already started to run away and leave the dorms. "oh, if only you allowed me to go with you jamil. he complains. "what's gonna happen to ramshackle dorm if mc disappeared for longer?"

the footprints' leads were no nowhere to be found. jamil was now stuck in a situation where he's gonna have a hard time searching for you. he decided to approach grim since he's the first person to know where you were would be at the moment. someone had to appear in jamil's way as he was about to leave.

"my, my jamil. what a coincidence to see you here. and judging by your expression, you seem to be in a hurry. why is that?" jamil did not have time to have a small talk with azul while he's in the middle of finding about your whereabouts. "azul, please do not bomboard me with questions now that you've guessed that i'm in a hurry with something." he rolled his eyes at azul.

he lets out a laugh in response. "haha, i wouldn't dare to disturb with whatever you're doing. if i take a guess, does this situations of yours have something to do with mc?" he asks while adjusting his glasses. "are you implying that you're the one behind this, azul?" jamil shoots a glare at him. "partially i did." he explained. "it's mostly the twins' doings and grim initiated it first." he tells jamil.

"grim took part of this too?" he asks again as azul nodded. "correct, he did. if you would me to explain more, follow me to the mostro longue. i suppose mc might be staying there at this time." as much as jamil didn't want to do anything that had azul in it, he had to do it. just for the sake of finding you. he worries that something bad would possibly happen to you, so he had no choice at all and decided to go with azul. "fine. i should remind you that i'm only doing this for mc." he tells azul as he lets out a chuckle. the two of them began to make their way to the octavinelle dorms.

azul lead jamil to his office room where you were currently staying at. along with the twins and grim as well. "sea snake! are you looking for shrimpy?" floyd greets him. jamil seemed concerned when he saw floyd hugging you very tightly. the look on your face screams for help. "can everyone of you please give out a explaination behind this mess that you all have caused?" jamil sounded so stressed out.

"the sudden blackout in the scarabia dorms? and an attempt of kidnapping mc? all of these happenings already caused a serious misunderstanding and trouble to the dorms, so i want a clear explaination now." he demanded for an answer. he needed to let out all his frustration as the situation was stressing him out very much. "when i got out of the restroom, everything was dark and i heard floyd laughing near me. then he started to carry me away immediately which was why i yelled." you explained the matter.

"jamil, if you ask me; this all started because i wanted to know where mc was. i approached these guys first since they have brainers for everyone's information." grim explains to jamil. "that necessarily doesn't mean you have to rely on us whenever you have a friend that's missing." jade tells grim. "it was only a simple question, but guess what the two of you did?" he asks both azul and jade. "you allowed this big guy here to find mc by himself, instead of me!" he pointed towards floyd.

"i knew where mc was, of course i'd go out looking for them by myself!" floyd answers already started to sound angry. "and look what happened now, scarabia is now in a mess because of you!" grim curses at floyd. "what's wrong with making a little scene? you people are no fun at all. learn to have some fun once in a while too." floyd said as he rolled his eyes. jamil had now got his answer. it was floyd who caused the blackout and drag mc away in the corridors.

"i disagree with you on that, floyd. do take note of your limits next time you plan on doing such acts." jade tells his brother as azul agreed with him. "jade is right, floyd. we wouldn't want their vice housewarden jamil to be sent in a stressed state as well." floyd had now given up. "fineeeeee." he answers.

"that was the most crappiest move you have ever pulled floyd. it makes want to stay away from you next time." you told floyd. "no shrimpy! you're stuck here in my arms forever until i get bored of you." he lets out a smile fully showing off his sharped teeth.

"floyd, please let go of mc. they are clearly not amused with you." jamil yanks off floyd's hands that were wrapped around you. he pulls you closer to him. "okay, fine. i'm guessing you like shrimpy anyway, sea snake." jamil's cheeks started to turn red. "tch, what a joke. let's leave now mc." he looks at you.

"hey, what about me?" grim walks up to the both of you but azul blocked his way. "and where do you think you're going? perhaps you have forgotten about the deal we had agreed on, in exchange of finding mc for you." azul reminds him. grim had suddenly remembered it. "oh, right. a taste test with the foods, right? bring it in!" he happily exclaims. the octavinelle trio looks at each other with grinned smiles on their faces.

that made you felt bad about grim since something bad was likely about to happen. but it's not a serious one anyway so you didn't stress about it much. you let a soft laugh towards them. "poor grim, he is so gonna regret it." you whispered to jamil. "indeed he will." he also agrees with you. azul turns to look at you and jamil as you were both about to leave the room.

"goodbye now, jamil. i-" jamil shuts off the door at azul's face, not wanting to hear another sentence from him. "i'm not in the mood for a friendly small talk with you, azul." he says walking away from the door with you. you began to laugh at what he did. "oh damn, aggressive much?" you teasingly asked him. "you had me stressed out over your whereabouts earlier. please do not be involved with those octavinelle people again." jamil reprimanded you. you could only let out a shrug as response. "okay, if that's what you want." you said.

you began to intertwine your hand within his which caught him off guard. "just what do you think you're doing, mc?" he asks you. "well, that situation made you so stressed out right? i'll hold hands with you, just in case the same thing will happen again." you told jamil. he was unsure of your idea at first, but he was now convinced so he agreed to it. "fine." the faded red color started to appear on his cheeks again.

"HUH, you two are holding hands? does this mean you guys are together now?" you and jamil are about to be in a flustered mess together, because of kalim's question. "NO WE ARE NOT!"

Malleus, Vil, Floyd, Jamil and Rook, please! Are waiting outside the building for (their crush) MC so they can walk together. They hear a BOOM and "AHHHHHHHHH" and suddenly they catch MC, who was sent flying out the 2nd story window by a misdirected spell blast. In thanks for catching her, she gives them a sincere and sweet kiss on the cheek? Thank you!!!!!!

Floyd Leech: 

You are incredibly thankful you caught Floyd on a good day, as splatting on the ground would be preferable to landing on an already irritated eel. He tilted his head as he stared at the window you flew out of, asking with a pout why you were having fun without him. Once his questioning is over (he wanted to recreate the experiment gone wrong with his VERY lucky lab partner next period), he asked what his prize was for catching you. You ignore the devious pointed grin to give him a kiss on his cheek, a real mistake as he squeezed you extra tight until he felt he was properly compensated in kisses.

Jamil Viper: 

Jamil thinks, at first, that he should’ve let you fall on your ass but his ‘don’t let the rich idiot die’ training kicked in automatically. He stared at you with a raised eyebrow, his disappointed mother look getting you to confess immediately to what had gone wrong. When you thank him he’s suddenly flustered, telling you not to bring him into your shenanigans unnecessarily as a real ‘thanks’. When you offered up a kiss on the cheek Jamil found himself thrown off balance again, doing his best to glare and cursing himself for only ever finding trouble.

Malleus Draconia: 

Malleus caught you with total ease, looking at you in his arms with an amused smirk on his face. He asked if you were alright, giving you a once over before carefully setting you back on the ground (you don’t think you’ve ever been that high up). Before you’re down though you find yourself wrapped around his neck, your lips pressed hastily against his cheek. Your boldness had always amused him and this was no different, Malleus asking if he could get another if he continued to hold you.

Rook Hunt: 

Rook thought he might’ve smelled trouble in the air then, lo-and-behold — a beautiful specimen was offered from the heavens above, falling directly into his strong arms within the blink of an eye. He is painfully curious on how you managed to get in a situation like that, having to compliment your ability to stay stunning even while wildly flying through the air in a panic. He insisted you invite him next time, even the sweet kiss on the cheek you give not enough as he refused to put you down until you agreed to bring him on your next adventure.

Vil Schoenheit: 

You can’t help but note that, despite his slim, sleek physique, Vil is actually quite strong. He doesn’t have any trouble holding you in his arms, sighing and asking what caused such a scene. He takes it in stride but you can see he wants to give a thorough lecture (and perhaps a much less elegant ass-kicking) to the person who almost caused you harm. Now, if you were the culprit behind your own almost demise you’d be on the receiving side of his withering glare, no kisses able to save you from the scolding he delivered.

MC: *buying groceries*

Random Octavinelle student: *bumps MC into the display knocking them and the display in front of them over* Oops

MC: *sitting in the floor in shock covered in various substances*...

ROS: Well since you knocked it over you can pay for it right, no need to get involved? *tries to walk away*

MC: *face switches from shock to anger then settles on a smirk* Boy you chose the wrong day. I can do something that can ruin your whole career.

ROS: Oh yeah? And what would that be?

MC: *says nothing for a moment, but looks up with tears * *sniffles*

Deuce: *pops out of nowhere* HOW DARE YOU HURT MC!!

Ace: *also comes out of nowhere* Yeah! Only WE can ruin their day!

Jack: *stands in between MC and ROS silently flexing*

Floyd: *grabs them from behind* Mah mah, I don't think I gave you permission to be near Shrimpy now did I? *Starts squeezing their shoulder*

Jade: *beside Floyd* No, brother, I don't believe you did. *smiling unnervingly*

Vil: *walks over from behind MC, glaring* Potato, this is unacceptable. Rook *snaps and Rook drops from the ceiling tiles* Take the potato and help them clean up.

Rook: Oui, Roi de Poison! *helps MC up*

MC: *smirks from behind the human wall at ROS but goes back to looking pitiful and a bit reluctant* But I need to get groceries, and... I can't pay for the display but... he did push me-

*green lightning cracks outside*

Rook: *pats MC on the head* No problem, I'm sure Monsieur Sam will take care of it! And I believe the others will take care of the... problem *pulls MC away*

ROS: *gulps as the others close in*

★ 𝐑𝐈𝐃𝐃𝐋𝐄 𝐑𝐎𝐒𝐄𝐇𝐄𝐀𝐑𝐓𝐒

Riddle over complicated things quite a bit—well . . . in simple terms, he overexerted himself for an ideal image of perfection. As it was something he was taught and bred to sought after. He feels uneasy in many cases, he's not the best at reading to room all the time, and he even has a hard time responding to comfort or comforting people.

Which is why he was so surprised and overwhelmed by how laid back you were, it was as if he had met the opposite of himself in a sort of way. The way you seemed so careless and oblivious to possible negative outcomes of your risqué actions, all came as a foreign feeling to him.

Yet, he remembers being paired with you for a project of sorts once, and at the time he didn't know how to feel about you—he supposed he saw you as an unreachable figure, someone he wishes he was. . . However, one memory of that project stuck out, the day you both spent hours on end, well into the night chatting instead of doing your work. It started off with small talk in-between the project work, which turned into a debate of sorts. Then it became a full on conversation that seemed to refuse ending.

Riddle from then on often got into these hefty conversations with you, and he began to realize just how calm you made him . . . you eased his nerves. You made him feel just as free and laidback as he viewed you.

Until one day, late at night, on a call where you admitted some things that came as a shock. And his perception of you began to reform, he realized just how similar you both were. It was as if he was looking into a mirror of himself, yet the reflection was able to respond back to him and refute his current ideals.

He found you admirable, he found you a curious figure, one he'd love to know more about, one he'd love to know . . . one he'd love to call his.

★ 𝐕𝐈𝐋 𝐒𝐂𝐇𝐎𝐄𝐍𝐇𝐄𝐈𝐓

Vil, had always been an early bird, it was the best way to start the day in his mind. The earlier he wakes up, the more time he has to spend throughout the day. Sleeping late and waking up even later would ruin his complexion—and the very routine he thoroughly crafted over the years. Yet when he met you, he quickly discovered that you were the exact opposite of what he was.

You were a night owl, an insomniac. He struggles to try and get you to bed, he struggles to try and get you to sleep, too close those expressive eyes of yours and head into the vast world of dreams.

Yet as the days progressed, he couldn't help but stay up on call for you, passing his usual sleeping hours into much later hours just to hear the pleasant sound of your voice, the tired edge to it that he adores. He continuously consoled himself with the fact that he was just doing so to make sure you slept, but soon his schedule had shifted to fit your more irregular one.

And when you both moved in together, he began realizing the subtle shifts you made. How you'd sleep earlier, how you'd wake up around the time he would, how you'd always be ready to join him for breakfast no matter how cranky.

Perhaps that was what made him realize, that he'd prefer to see your face every morning, awake or asleep . . .

★ 𝐌𝐀𝐋𝐋𝐄𝐔𝐒 𝐃𝐑𝐀𝐂𝐎𝐍𝐈𝐀

It was rare for someone to be unafraid of Malleus, perhaps you were . . . stupid? Maybe dense . . . But he held no judgement, rather he was over the moon to be able to be close so to someone other then his small social group of Diasomnia students.

He adored quite a lot about you, the way you'd patiently listen to what he had to say, the way you'd treat him ever so casually compared to the former. He didn't want it to end, the soft lingering touches, the tone of your voice, the way your eyes seemed to express each detail of your emotions—the way your lips curved into an slightly unpleasant smile, when you greeted someone you disliked—He was very pleased to know he wasn't one of the latter.

He seemed to like almost every inch of you, to the point where he himself wasn't fully aware of how he felt . . . until he and you decided to go on a picnic, and he saw you smiling so brightly, and freely, the sun radiating off of your face—his heart began skipping a beat—and he realized that he wanted nothing more then that bright smile to be directed to him, always and forever.

★ 𝐋𝐄𝐎𝐍𝐀 𝐊𝐈𝐍𝐆𝐒𝐂𝐇𝐎𝐋𝐀𝐑

Leona was a particularly laid back figure, watching you from afar as you did—what were you doing in the botanical garden anyways?, he questioned in the back of his head, still tired and groggy. You always came around at this time to the gardens, with seemingly no plan in your mind. Perhaps you enjoyed disturbing his sleep? As you always seemed to approach him with a smile.

Leona just doesn't seem to understand what you view your relationship as, possibly friends? Well he could care less. He doesn't find you amusing to say the least, coming into his hiding spaces and ruining his peaceful slumber. Usually by now he'd cause a scene, but for some reason the way you rambled on and on about your day didn't irritate him as much as he wanted it too . . . At least then he'd have an excuse to send you away.

Leona didn't like having you around, he made that quite abruptly clear. Yet the week you were away, he found himself eyeing you out of the crowd, and he surprisingly grew even more upset when he couldn't find you. He assumed you had matched his energy and decided to finally leave him alone.

And yet, he was upset.

It only came crashing down on him when he saw you again, after a week, you went on explaining you were sick—or something—he stopped listening a while ago . . . As the realization slowly creeped in, that he couldn't imagine, or rather didn't want to imagine another day without your stupid rambling.

★ 𝐀𝐙𝐔𝐋 𝐀𝐒𝐇𝐄𝐍𝐆𝐑𝐎𝐓𝐓𝐎

Azul's crush on you seemingly formed from how giving you were, not expecting anything in return—well . . . actually it was when you offered him an water bottle because he looked dehydrated randomly out of no where and expected nothing in return, clearly you were designed for him—Floyd knocked him out of his train of thought.

Azul and you have been going out for an while, and he puts so much effort into his appearance—The amount of annoyed signs he had to deal with from both the tweels due to his lovesick behaviorisms is endless.

Yet none of the above was what resulted in him wanting to be with you forever . . . he did intend to marry you someday . . . but what stuck to him is how you always noticed—it surprised him, made him a bit afraid, but most of all it made him feel important and loved.

He loved the way you knew how he felt, the way you even accidently end up noticing the effort he put in, the way you always know what to say, the way that when he has something to say, you listen, the way you never judge his questionable actions . . . all of this made him realize that he wanted you . . . all of you . . .

★ 𝐊𝐀𝐋𝐈𝐌 𝐀𝐋-𝐀𝐒𝐈𝐌

Kalim was a social butterfly, and you were an ambivert who was easily drained in social interactions. You were seemingly more anxious then usual, a bit trippy as you stepped out of one of those Scarabia grand parties. Starring at the ground as you settled down, surprisingly not caring for the dirt that would get on your outfit. The area of Scarabia was surprisingly clean.

And out of the corner of Kalim's eye, he spotted you, through the window, he assumed you were one of the many people who could use some encouragement to return back into the party—he's well aware many could grow anxious in such a crowded area. And though you've had your fair share of big crowds, he was correct this time around.

Yet when Kalim's eyes found yours outside, the tired sigh you let out, the way your hands gently pressed down on your temple in an attempt to calm down made him realize . . . that you were the one.

★ 𝐈𝐃𝐈𝐀 𝐒𝐇𝐑𝐎𝐔𝐃

Idia always enjoyed playing games with you—spending time with you, you were a bit more tolerable then most people to say the least. He could even compare your company to that of Ortho's . . . well almost at the very least.

You were a comforting and refreshing presence, who always seemed to encourage healthier habits onto him, and for some odd reason he strived to garner some sort of acknowledgement or praise for him doing the things you wanted . . . even though most of them were basic needs like making sure he drank a certain amount of water, and took his medication . . . you always made it known that you were proud.

It was odd, slowly and effectively you had his routine changed, the changes started small until they were noticeable. He found himself going the extra mile for you . . . but what surprised him the most, was that you were also willing to go the extra mile for someone like him.

Forever is a long time, and originally he thought it would be just his little brother and him, but perhaps . . . no, he wanted you apart of it as well.

For Leona's part, tried sounding like him, I needed the slight asshole-ness to mix with the soft fluffy scenario.

Might be a bit rushed in parts but I wrote this at 3am after going thru it . . .
