So I have a question that I feel as if you're the only one who'll get it well:

So imagine this, a world with the stories is the same but sometimes after the villains have a final curtain call of their motives, but one thing is drastically different... And that's their recruiters are fully evil. Not only that but are so wicked and far not even their once masters can stop them

Either some were abandoned or betrayed by their villains or others simply didn't get their villains help from the beginning, but the end result is the same, they are cruel and ruthless

My question is, if this case scenario was true, what would you think their villain arcs are like?

First off, I'm sorry that it took so long to answer this ask. Life has been quite hectic for me these past few months, so I took a bit of a break. So, to make up for it, let's have some fun here!

Second, it really depends on what established lore you've set for them. Some people have different interpretations of their characters, but if you're going by my personality pages, I have some ideas:

Apple 🍎

Apple seems like the type to claw his way to power no matter what. If he didn't meet the Evil Queen/Grimhilde, he probably would've served under other corrupt monarchs before somehow manipulating them or the people around them to overthrow that monarch and take his "rightful" place as the new ruler.

Very politically oriented than outright murderous.

Jack Heart ❤️

Jack is kinda hard to imagine being strictly "evil" since he's more of the "fun guy who doesn't care about the consequences" type.

But, if you want to lean into him being more insane, I can totally see him becoming more and more unhinged as time goes on.

He craves chaos. He craves destruction. Similar to Kefka Palazzo from Final Fantasy, but less existential and nihilistic.

I doubt that he'd take out the Queen of Hearts, but for this case, let's say he did: He'd make it a spectacle. To show everyone in Wonderland who the true king is.

No longer does he want to be a pawn at her disposal. He'll have it all, one way or another.

Mr. Dalmatia 🐾

Even if this is the 101 Dalmatians universe, where animals are way smarter than we know, I don't see Dalma becoming a supervillain.

Maybe a gang leader of street dogs or something if he was never adopted by Cruella.

Or, more likely, if he was ever betrayed by Cruella, he would plot his revenge, killing everyone, even Pongo, Perdita, the puppies, and the others by burning Hell Hall to the ground and closing any escape routes, then disappear into the woods. Never to be seen again.

Eight Foot Joe 🐙

MURDER.

He finally snaps from exhaustion and has a full-on Death Note-style murder plot to kill Ursula.

Whether he uses an ancient artifact, potions, or goes along with Ursula's plot, only to steal the trident from her after she accidentally kills Flotsam and Jetson, that betrayal is coming full force.

He becomes the new king of the sea. Finally earning the respect he deserves.

Malfi/Malfie 🪞

Malfi, at least in my headcanons, was an actual bird who was later turned human-ish by Maleficent.

Considering how powerful she is in comparison to everyone on this list, I doubt that Malfi would be brave or powerful enough to take her on in a fight.

Malfi is more of an opportunist. He'd lie and wait for Philip to kill Maleficent. Then, once she's out of the way, he'd kill Philip himself.

Unfortunately, while he was trained by the Mistress of All Evil, he knows Flora, Fauna, and Merryweather would cause problems, so he'd capture them somehow and drain them of their magic, so he could use it to curse the kingdom once again.

Malfi would have everything he's ever wanted: Power, a kingdom, a beautiful bride, and servants and subjects that cater to his every whim.

Pretty Scar (Mzuri) ✨️

I've talked in length about what would happen at the end of The Lion King if PS was there to witness or take part in the killing of Scar, and I honestly don't see her in a leadership position of any kind.

But, if we want to change it up a bit, instead of giving up on Scar after he dies, we find out later that she joined Zira and helped raise Kovu.

Like Zira, she believes Kovu will one day become the great king destined to overthrow Simba and avenge Scar

This Mzuri, despite the fact that Scar betrayed her fellow hyenas, still worships Scar because she's used to the abuse she suffers from her family. She blames Simba for placing Scar in a position where he would have to throw the hyenas under the bus to save his own life.

Ms. Hades 🔥

As I've stated before, I see Ms. Hades as a creation of Hades, so her betraying him is kind of pointless, seeing as he could easily destroy her if he wanted to.

If she was to go all-out villain, though, she'd probably wait to reveal herself as the true villain until Hercules was far enough into the River Styx to die of old age. Then, she'd most likely push Hades down there or use some enchanted item of some kind to bind him, then throw him into the river.

Her motive? She despised working for someone who treated her like an object. She was created for the sole purpose of working beneath him, and she could stand it no longer.

I see her as someone who doesn't focus on the petty things, and that's what makes her so deadly.

She's so calm, collected, and controlled that she doesn't let any weakness of hers slip through the cracks. She looks through every possible option, every little detail. She makes good work of using any opportunities Hades never thought to use.

She is a force of nature; an untamable fire. There is no question that she will take over the living world and Mount Olympus. All hail the queen.

Veil 🔔

If Veil had never met Frollo, I don't see the possibility of her becoming a villain simply because she wouldn't have the resources to raise her status as a "lowly commoner." That, and her personality. She was essentially groomed to become Frollo's loyal follower. That wouldn't have happened otherwise

So, if we work with the opposite of what I wrote as an ending for Veil on her page, similarly to Pretty Scar, Veil would be so brainwashed that she'd still defend Frollo and continue his reign of terror in his absence. Only this time, it's even more dangerous than before.

Lady Hock (Hook) 🪝

Again, I really don't see her as a supervillain personality-wise, and even if Hock was betrayed by Captain Hook, I see her going down a more heroic path than anyone else.

Even if she never met the captain, I don't see her becoming a villain either. She's remarkably chill and goes with the flow in most situations.

The best I can see is that if you altered her personality a tad, she'd allow Captain Hook to kill the Lost Boys and Wendy.

Unless she finally got fed up with Hook's cowardice and decided to get rid of him, then the kids. But again, that's less likely.

Faja 🌹

I'll give Jafar this: He never betrayed Iago. They were practically best buds in the first movie, so I don't doubt that he might be the same with Faja.

However, if all three of them became trapped in the lamp, they'd all drive each other crazy. So much so that later on, once they learn about Iago's escape and betrayal, Faja realizes how power-hungry and abusive he's become. Should this happen, she will help defeat Jafar with Aladdin and the gang once and for all, but she'd immediately turn on them all afterwards.

Or, if we go with the option of her never meeting Jafar, unlike Veil's situation, magic exists in this world, so I can definitely see her taking a similar path as Jafar and learning magic on her own to escape her life as a street rat. Except more erratic and unhinged.

I’ve had this idea for a while, and the six pose dance song has been stuck in my head for a week. So, this new girl with the striking resemblance to Minako is an alternate version of Minako from another dimension. She’s now Mika, an orphan and high school student in Japan. Watch me as I make some self-indulgent found family content with a very niche part of disney.

A few warnings: Content is mostly sad since I can't seem to make ocs without torturing them or giving them tragic backstories. I was also kind of sad doing research about orphaned children in Japan.

Bio

As a baby, she was found on the doorstep of a child institution without a single piece of information to identify her biological family. Mika has lived in three institutions and with two different families. Her status of being an orphan has often left her friendless and discriminated within not just her school, but almost every place outside an institution.

Currently, Mika resides in her second foster home with the Arai family that neglects her and only took her in to get the government money. She works as a waitress at a diner in hopes of surviving the adult world once her foster family kicks her out after she graduates from high school or even sooner once she turns eighteen in November.

Meeting the Villain Recruiters

(I couldn't find a lot of information on if Japanese schools going to field trips to Disneyland, but for the sake of this plot, just go with it)

Mika's homeroom wins an all-expense school field trip to Tokyo DisneySea set during the week leading up to Halloween. Much to her delight, she gets the opportunity to attend the Disney Villain Recruiters Atmos show event and the Sailing Day Buffet event. Little does she know, the recruiters are not just actors, but actual henchman of infamous Disney villains.

...And all 10 of them are scouting her long after the trip is over.

Personality

While her twst counterpart, Minako has little sister energy being the youngest in her family, Mika in comparison has big sister vibes. On the surface level, Mika can seem childish due to her naivety and her need for attention from adults. However, she’s quite responsible as she is rather efficient at time-management between work and school, doing chores around the house, and even helping the child care workers take care of the younger children when she was still living in an institution.

Mika maintains a soft-spoken persona, but holds strong convictions about how unfairly institutionalized children are treated and how biological parents aren't always good parents. She is more perceptive than she lets on as she is well aware that the recruiters are making excuses to spend time with her in order to gain her favour and later be recruited. She rarely voices her opinions and inner thoughts out loud.

Having spent most of her childhood as a lonely orphan, she craves attention and affection from others, especially from adults. In spite of knowing the ulterior motives of the recruiters, she continues to consort with them as they were the closest thing she had to a group of friends.

Abilities

Unlike Minako, Mika is not a witch or that much of athlete, but she's near-indestructible. She doesn't know why. She can survive the heaviest falling debris, gunshot wounds, stabbing, decapitation poisoning, and cannot be burned by even hellfire. Mika has only gotten sick twice in her life, but her illnesses tend to hit very hard.

Hey, I only said "near-indestructible."

Other Facts

Up until she was six, Mika was called Hanako Yamada or Yamada Hanako in Japanese. And no, I don't mean the little sister from Yandere Simulator or the comedian. Hanako Yamada and Taro Yamada are the Japanese equivalent of Jane/John Doe.

Her first family that she was taken in by was a sweet elderly couple who adopted her when and legally changed her the name to Mika Masaki.

Mika was among the very few children who got to live with a family let alone two families, but only because she has no biological parents and other relatives that anyone knows about that can ask to take her back.

Mika's first adopted parents taught her plenty of basic life skills in cooking, cleaning, managing money, etc.

Unfortunately, her adopted parents were beginning to experience the first stages of dementia when Mika was ten and were deemed unfit to care for her. The Masakis were placed in a nursing home and Mika was forced to go to her third institution before eventually being taken in by an uncaring foster family a year later.

Relationships with the Recruiters: A Summary

I'll make a much more in depth version of the relationships another day. For now, take a summary of their general relationships with Mika.

They seem to know something about Mika's origins, but why? It's like she met a long time ago, but Mika can't put her finger on it. She knows that they're planning to recruit her, she just doesn't know why her specifically. And if they wanted her to be their team so bad, why are most of them so distrustful and acting like she could fold them like a lawn chair?

That's how it was at first. Over time, all ten of them grew to care for Mika and started empathizing for her situation. They are slightly yandere-ish because half of them don't know how to act like regular humans.

Mika has a few love interests from the group, mainly being Jack Heart and Apple Poison. Why? Because they're my favourites and I have to have romance. I had this scenario in mind on Mika's eighteenth birthday and Jack Heart was the first recruiter who made his official introduction to her and brought a tart for her birthday at the end of their wonderland shenanigans. This is still just him with ulterior motives but still.

Umm well, I didn't really watched the show but here's something I have for an AU of them.

They have different names cause they were either not proper or I just didn't vibe with it.

Veil - Vera

Lady Hook - Jane

Dalmatia - Dante

These three are like the iCarly trio and even have their own webshow, but Vera and Jane are Lesbians and Dante is their straight friend.

Jane lives her dad who was a former naval officer and was taught how to fight in an early age and has incredible strength.

Vera lives with her older brother who works as a stained glass artist and part time waiter.

Dante lives with his mom who owns boutique and works there too.

Dante loves Vera and Jane (platonically), but he just wishes they reveal their feelings for each other.

The two of them love to bully him sometimes.

Cece - Ms. Hades

Vince - Apple Poison

Nadia - Farja

Zuri - Pretty Scar

This is oldest to youngest.

The seven above are siblings and live with their single mom and grandma.

Their mom owns a fighting school which they train under her. The training is brutal but very effective making them extremely skilled fighters.

The seven of them became feared for their skills, but they only use it for either self-defense or someone truly angered them.

The seven of them know they are adopted but they love their mom and try their best to help her so they each have a part-time job.

They respect their grandma but sometimes they find her a bit cold and intimidating despite what their mother claims.

They're protective of their mom and so they don't trust the people she dates cause most of them lust after her.

Once time, Dante, Vera and Jane found a a picture of a young women in their house. They asked who was the attractive female, the Joe akwardly admit it was their mother.

All ten of them either hang out at Vera's home or the seven's. They usually hold the webshow in either place.

The seven of them form a pop/rock band called 'The 7sins'

Jack, Joe, Vince and Malachite have girlfriends who looked liked their respective heroines.

Hello! I have returned to expand a bit more to expand on the Disney Villain Recruiters in the House of Mouse AU.

Jack Heart, Apple Poison, and Eight Foot Joe are Yuu's big bros. Apple and Joe are more or less tsunderes about it. Ms. Hades and Lady Hock/Hook is also a tsundere big sisters (god, I wish the names for the Lady Recruiters were more creative. They just gave up on our girls.)

I remember mentioning Jack Heart secretly rooting for Ace. Man is pulling a Pain and Panic move by being a multi-shipper at the risk of getting decapitated by his Queen. I get the feeling that the Queen of Hearts is strictly a RiddleYuu shipper.

Mr. Dalmatia and Pretty Scar are rather clingy to Yuu as much as the animal children characters are. They will attack Crowley, Mortimer, and Pete in Yuu's honour. In spite of Pretty Scar's crush on Dalma, she tends to compete with him AND Tinkerbell for Yuu's attention.

Surprisingly, the ever so lethargic Eight Foot Joe gets in on the antics with Dalma and Pretty Scar when they torment Crowley. He knows what it's like to be overworked with little payback.

Malfie and Veil absolutely dote on Yuu and are the most passionate shippers of the recruiters, next to Pretty Scar. Unfortunately, both Malfie and Veil don't give the best advice to their biases, Malleus and Rollo respectively. Malfie can get a little too vain and shallow, while Veil is a little naive and sheltered when it comes to love being under Frollo's influence.

Speaking of Malfie, beauty is very important to him, so he likes to do Yuu's hair and makeup being all like "You're going to be the prettiest girl at the party!"

First of all, yeah, the girlies really need better PR because what are those names?

Secondly, yeah this seems accurate (I say despite having absolutely no idea what their characteristics/personalities are like).

Where would Mr Dalmatia be in the shipping war, though? Since his twst counterpart is Yuu's father figure, I guess he's just there to cause chaos with the potential suitors and their shippers.

Good lord, I can see Jack Heart rooting for Ace despite knowing the consequences - he does love an underdog (I bet he's like that one lone voice that yelled 'Hooray' during the Alice in Wonderland film when the King of Hearts made his entrance). I bet there are card soldiers that know about it but keep quiet so that the Queen doesn't lose her temper.

I just love the chaos of all of it. Diablo just sighs and wonders how he's the only competent henchmen out of all of them.

Disney Recruiters (+Villains) x Reader || Drabbles

Plot: The Disney Villains have expressed interest in you! And, so, they send their recruiters after you.  

Includes: Apple Poison (/ the Evil Queen), Dalmatia (/ Cruella De Vil), Farja (/ Jafar), Eight Foot Joe (/ Ursula), Jack Heart (/ the Queen of Hearts), ), Lady Hook (/ Captain Hook), and Malfie (/ Maleficent). My apologies, but Miss Hades and Veil are not included because I couldn’t find much on their personalities a nd Miss Scar is just… odd to me 😅

Side note- I have started exploring the world of Twisted Wonderland as well finally and boy, I got very confused about Divus Crewel! He and Dalmatia look exactly alike apart from some very subtle differences! Also this is my first time even attempting to write for the recruiters, I’ve never even fantasised with them, so wish me luck XD

Apple Poison and the Evil Queen:

You’re picking flowers in the middle of a field when he first appears- and when you say that he appeared, you’re really not exaggerating or anything, you literally never heard him walk up or anything! And it would be hard to walk silently through this field, there’s lots of pretty, autumnal leaves that should cause a crushing sound when stepped on no matter how graceful a person you are.

But he had just suddenly been there, with you; Not 10 feet away.

Being employed - or enslaved, - as a a handmaid for the Queen, you had seen the man before of course, going about castle for no particular reason. Other maids would ask you about him, because he was handsome and oh-so-cold towards everyone (Much like your Queen herself) and you are the Queens favourite so if she would confide in any servant off-hand, then it would be you. You had even poured him wine in the Queens chambers before, but you still had absolutely no clue what his purpose there was, or even his name. Truly, the man was a mystery.

This made other castle staff all the more curious - and hot, - about him, but you just left it be. You left a lot of things be in that castle, in fact. Odd visitors like this man, but also odd smells, smoke coming from the dungeon, and curious orders for things like mugwort and eye of newt. That’s why, you suppose, that Queen Grimhilde truly preferred you over the rest of the maids. You didn’t ask questions or wonder- you don’t care much what she gets up to. It’s not your business to pry into the personal lives of the royal family, or their… constituents.

Yes, that was a fine word for the man. No need to consider it further.

Suddenly a gloved hand appears in the window of your vision, between you and the flowers you were picking, and you follow the arm that is attached to it, up to the man. The constituent. Oh-

Taking it obediently, you let him guide you up to your feet and then watch him with wide eyes as he presses a quick kiss against your knuckles. “I’ve seen you around the castle, Ms/Sir.”

“Ms/Sir?? Oh, you don’t have to call me- “

“Then what shall I call you?” As he lets go of your hand, you gently lower it back to your side. He seems just as he’s always been, even now away from the castle; Sensible and to-the-point. You appreciate it.

Though, having someone so high up as to be having regular private meetings with Her Majesty as you your name, is a little bit flustering. “… Y/N… “

“You may refer to me as A.P, for now. I’ve been sent by the Queen.”

“I was just picking her flowers for dinner tonight.”

“Yes, and she appreciates it.” Oh he’s a bit of a charmer, huh? Her Majesty would never express gratitude for you having just done your job. This is all rather… odd. Can’t you return to your duties? “But our beauteous Queen is requesting both of our presences, imminently. Someone else can complete this, I promise.”

“I… suppose… “This is all totally irregular, and you’re slightly thrown off by it. His name is A.P?? For now?? What does that mean!?

Nevertheless, you give a nod and he begins to lead you out of the field and back to your carriage and his horse- and this time, he makes the proper amount of crunching noises. You won’t say that all of this is not entirely peculiar, but you will keep your thoughts to yourself at least until you see your Queen. She likely has a perfectly good explanation for sending this man to come and separate you from your duties.

Dalmatia and Cruella De Vil:

“… HEY!”

“JESUS- “

You actually fall out of your desk chair at this, onto the marble floor that Cruella just loves to snap her heels into every time she walks by every morning and ow- it fucking hurts!! Your chair, on the other hand, does not suffer the dramatic fall you did and instead just… rolls away 2 feet.

Figures.

As you get up, denying yourself the mercy of rubbing your sore ass because the last thing you need right now is to embarrass yourself further, you glance at the asshole who irrefutably caused this mess. He’s laughing his bloody ass off, and you scowl at him. “What was that for!?”

“I was just saying hey! You didn’t need to go and throw yourself to the floor like that!!”

“I didn’t throw myself to the- I was startled by you!!”

“-Oh, sure.” He doesn’t seem convinced, but he does sober up a fair bit and waive his hand at you like ‘whatever’. Rolling your eyes deeply, you turn grab the back of your chair and drag it back to you; Turning back to your computer just to save your work so it doesn’t disappear while you deal with this wierdo. God forbid you lose all your progress on this horrendously complicated spreadsheet… Cruella would murder you.

Like, really murder. Take off one of those heels and embed it in your skull.

When he doesn’t go to speak again, and explain his presence, you give a frustrated sigh and take the first step. “Who are you, anyway? And what did you need to scream at me for? Huh??”

For a moment he looks confused himself, and you’re about to call security because clearly the looney bin left the doors open today, but he comes to his senses just in time. “… OH. Well, I’m Dalmatia- Miss De Vil’s personal assistant. And I’ve been sent to recruit- uh, fetch you for her. Follow me!~ “

“Uh uh uh- ” You grab him and he turns his back on you, dragging him back around to face you by the back of a designer suit. “Hold on there- I’m Cruella De Vil’s personal assistant. I know I am, because otherwise there is no way that I would be missing my lunch break to do this damn excel spreadsheet from hell. So let me ask again; Who are you?”

“Iiii… “The man peters out, avoiding eye contact and fiddling with his fingers. “Well, my name is Dalmatia.”

You are in no mood for nonsense like this. Lunch was going to be pizza! “That’s great. What are you doing here?”

“To fetch you.”

“Wh- “

“For gods sake Y/N, just come into my office.” Cruella herself comes stalking out of her office at the end of the hall, looking non-too-happy at either of you, before turning on her heel and stepping back in. You let go of the back of the man’s suit collar like you were burnt, surprised that he’s legit. “And Dalmatia, how is it you usually do this? If you can’t even get my assistant into my office, I have some serious concerns… “

“Oh, I would’ve worn them down!~ “ You’re just collecting some folders and printed sheets and a USB in preparation for whatever Cruella might want in there, when Dalmatia links his arm through yours and yanks you off towards the intimidating glass door ahead somehow gracefully. He flashes you a wink and you roll your eyes.

What is going on??

Farja and Jafar:

Knock, Knock, Knock!

Slowly, you look up from the book you were struggling to get through, to the door to your chambers. Did someone just?... Oh, no way. Its just your imagination. Back to-

Knock, Knock, Knock, Knock, Knock, Knock!!

Oh! You didn’t imagine it! Whoops!- Setting your book aside quickly, you get up and race to the door before swinging it open and peaking out. Who could it be?

When your eyes land on her, a woman with long raven hair and a beautiful purple flower that is… glowing… you feel suddenly like you should have just pretended you weren’t home. She flashes a bright, kind smile though and that sets your nerves slightly more at ease. “Good afternoon! There’s a lovely sunset happening outside, have you seen??”

“Oh, um- No… “Who is this woman?? Why is she knocking on doors talking about the sun??? “I was just- “

“Oh that’s okay!~ Anyway, I’m Farja! It’s nice to meet you!~ Do you know Jafar?”

“I- I know of him, yes.” But you’re a servant and he sure as hell doesn’t mingle with the likes of servants- unless he’s terrorising them of course. You know men who have had to carry furniture here and there all day because of him and swear they saw him smile about it, and women who walk faster when they pass him alone in the halls because he’s been known to corner them.

He sounds like a bit of a scoundrel, really. What does this lady know of him?

She gathers your hand in hers, and gives another warm smile before turning to walk off down the hall and take you with her. “Wonderful! Come on, we have to go see him- “

“Wait!”

“What?”

“I… what’s going on??” It seems the right question to ask. Anything else would simply miss the big picture. Hopefully this covers everything, like, who is she?? Where did she come from?? What is her relation to the Sultan’s Vizier?? Why do you need to go see him with her??

What? What? Wha- Hey, was the flower in her hand always golden?

“Oh,” She lets out a giggle, and it’s a sound similar to that of bells, or the finest jewellery. “I apologise. You must be confused, I understand that. But I promise, he will make it all make sense. It will be okay- just come.”

This definitely feels like one of those ‘Don’t go’ sort of situations, so you stay behind the door. But she then reaches out and takes your hand in hers once again, this time much gentler, and tugs again and before you know it you’re letting Farja lead you down hallways- all the while, she natters on about this and that. The sunset and how magical it is, Jafar and how he’s going to make everything clear for you, and what she had for dinner the other night. She’s a little goofy and a little airheaded but theirs an odd sweetness to her, that just make you want to trust her.

You’re definitely not sure whether you should have let her take you, anxiety is biting away at you, but you can’t back out now.

Eight Foot Joe and Ursula:

You’re just tending to your coral bed, which is one of the best in the kingdom even if you do just say it yourself, and keeping a casual, yet watchful eye on the loiterer nearby. He’s been lingering for the past 3 hours, and you’ve never seen him around before, so he’d raised some red flags for you.

He hasn’t done anything bad yet, though, so you aren’t too concerned. Just cautious. And there’s nothing wrong with that- there are kids that live nearby!

Then you’re turning around to shoo away some sea horses from the area in your garden that you’ve recently sprayed with some weed killer- and your arm is grabbed!

You whip around to see the loiterer, and narrow your eyes. “Excuse you?- “

 “Come on.” His tone, nor his grip, is particularly strong or alarming - in fact he sounds bored, - but ‘Come on’?- Where!? You’re not going anywhere with a perfect stranger! Is he out of his mind???

“Let go of my arm.” You tell him sternly, the sternest that you’ve ever sounded, and glare as hard as you possibly can at him; Hoping he’s nice and weak-willed.

He just gives a sigh, not too bothered, by thankfully let’s go. Those hands go in his pockets and his shoulders slump and you allow your own arm to return to its regular place hanging at your side, still glaring at him. “Fine, come on.”

Is he serious? “… Where??”

For a moment he doesn’t respond, and you have a chance to get a proper look at him so you can assess what you’re dealing with here. He’s an octopus creature and he’s dressed rather well, but the way he’s slumped causes the whole look to be totally thrown off like he takes no pride in his appearance. That’s strike number two.

Strike number one was, of course, the grabbing.

Strike number 3 is the fact that he has yet to explain himself, and just hovers there thinking, like the dumbest and most inept kidnapper ever.

“… I have to take you to Ursula.” He finally says, shifty eyes flickering to you and watching your reaction. He’s taken a gamble, saying that name, and he must be able to tell just looking at how your face is transforming that it was a bad one.

“The sea witch?! No way- “You snap, turning around and going for your front door- but he reaches forward and grabs your arm again. His grip is a little bit tighter this time, but isn’t painful by any means. You think you could still peel his fingers off if you need to. But instead of trying that, you whip around once again, this time holding up a fist, and go for his face with it.

He catches it almost lazily, and lowers your arm so he’s holding both your wrists in one hand, and that’s how you discover how strong his grip really is. It may not be tight, but its powerful. You could not peel his fingers off. Jaw dropping, you look from your fist to him to the street around you, searching for some help but everyone else is either inside of out for the day. Turning back to your attacker, you grit your teeth and glare harshly. “Let go.”

Giving a shrug, he turns around then and starts half leading you, half dragging you off away from your little street and your coral bed. “Cant. Ursula wants to talk to you.”

“Well give her a message for me!” You force out, struggling against his hand. “I don’t want any part in her dealings!- “

This time he sighs, and its rather annoyed, but he doesn’t look back at you and he doesn’t squeeze tighter. “Not that you have much choice in the matter, but… you might change your mind, when you hear her offer.”

Oh, really? “Why would I do that!?”

Another sigh wafts back from him, and it’s your only response as the two of you venture into the deeper, darker parts of the ocean.

Jack Heart and the Queen of Hearts:

One moment you’re peacefully reading under a big oak tree, the roses nearby chattering away quietly together, when a WHOOSH sound interrupts the quiet and a man with curly brown hair appears upside down- right in your face. Startled, you accidentally smack yourself in the nose with your book, pulling yourself away from him.

“Ow,” The guy winces, but doesn’t stop his grinning. “That looked like it hurt.”

You give a pout in return as you rub up and down the bridge of your nose. “It- it did!”

“My bad. Hey, look, I’ll get you a tart to make up for it!” He exclaims, swinging slightly back and forth with excitement from the branch his legs are curled around above your head. You take a glance up, to make sure that the branch he’s chosen is nice and sturdy, and isn’t about to fall on you because that would really hurt, before allowing curiosity to get the better of you.

“… what kind of tart?” A tart does sound rather nice right now-

“Cranberry! It’s the best. The queen swears by them!”

“Th- the queen!??” Even referring to her is startling. Is he one of her guards? He doesn’t look like a royal guards, you think as you assess him, but… you can never be too careful. You work as a kitchen maid in the palace, and you’ve seen quite enough beheadings to be quite wary of the possibility. Not that you really needed the visual proof that it would be nasty, but… It has made the fear worse.  

Which is funny, because contrary-wise you might think that seeing so many beheadings would rather numb you to the fear of having your own head chopped off, for the bodies only twitch for a little while and then they die pretty quickly, but… no… it hasn’t.

“Yeah!” The man, enthusiastic as he seems to be, doesn’t notice your concern. In fact he takes your quietness is an opening to talk more. Meanwhile, you can’t help but wonder whether his blood is all rushing to his head, yet. “I work for her in the palace- like you! That’s why I’m here, actually. The Queen’s requesting an audience, with you!”

“Requesting?... “

“Yeah, well, demanding actually. Pot-Ay-Toe, Pot-Ah-Toe though, right?” Just as you’re worrying about what you could have possibly done to get on Her Majesties bad side, the guy flips off the tree branch and lands somehow gracefully down on his feet in front of you. It’s a spectacular trick, and you wonder how he pulled it off, staring up at him with eyes the size if tea plates. “Ta-Daa!~ C’mon,” He lowers a gloved hand down in front of your face for you to take, and gives you a wink. “We’ll pinch you your tart on the way!”

“Oh, I don’t think I should be… pinching her tarts… “You say hesitantly, inching your fingers into his palm delicately so he can pull you up next to him. God knows what you’ve done to anger her already, you aren’t about to make it worse by stealing her favourite snack inside her own castle!

Once he has dragged you - again, somehow gracefully, - to your feet, he brushes his thumb over your knuckles and carries them up to his mouth. Your cheeks are heating up and your jaw is dropping as he lands a kiss against them, too. Then looks up at you with the most intense eyes you’ve ever seen, and say… “I won’t let you get hurt.”

And all you can think is- Who is this guy???

Lady Hook and Captain Hook:

“Y/N.” A female voice calls your name; Muffled because of the water but spoken very clearly, and full of intent. You hear the sternness and debate emerging at all, but at receiving a few frustrated glances from various other sleeping mer-people who the woman above is interrupting.

Sighing, letting lose a few bubbles that fly up the surface and surely give away your position anyway, you let go of the seaweed pillow you were cuddling, and swim up to where the voice came from. “Yes?” You ask, resting your arms on the land before the woman’s boots, craning your neck to look up at the woman.

“I’m known as Lady Hook.” She says frankly, before giving a sigh and offering the fake hook-hand up as explanation for her name. You give a hum, and rest your elbows on the rocks near where she’s standing, lace your fingers together, and set your chin atop. Can this be over? You’re so sleepy… “I’m here to recruit you for my Captain.”

“Your Captain? Wow… “Giving a breathy chuckle, you tilt your head to the side as you look up at her; Eyes fully open finally. “I didn’t know you two-leggeds were like that~ “

Glaring, she furrows her brows and scrunches up her nose and the expression would almost be cute… if she didn’t give you the feeling that calling her that would get you a kick to the teeth. “Like what?”

“Oh, just… “Kinky. “Nothing… “

“Hm… “She gives you one more hard glare, before returning to her more neutral expression- which is, curiously, still rather angry. “Furthermore- I am to take you to him.”

“Look, I don’t really have any interest in joining Hook’s crew, so sorry you made the trip, but, its actually my nap time right now so I’ll just be goin- “

“It pays well.” Lady Hook interrupts, and your eyes flash at her. No. No, that’s not going to do.

“I don’t need gold. So- “

“No, not in gold. We discovered recently that you’re warring with the boy- which means we’re working toward the same thing. Together, in water and on land, we may have a better chance at vanquishing the brat.”

… Okay, that does get your attention. Turning back from the waters again, you tilt your head at her. “… You have a point, there.” Its common knowledge that the pirates hate Peter, Hook especially. And though the other mermaids may love the stupid kid… you sure don’t. There’s just something about him that has always left a bad taste in your mouth, and he’s just always flying around here… making a terrible racket and interrupting your peace… Your life would be perfect, without him around. So- “What kind of offer is Hook making?”

“Come with me, and find out.”

Hmmm, giving Lady Hook a scrupulous look, you push off of the rocks. “Show me the way, then~ “

Malfie and Maleficent:

One morning while you’re hanging up a particularly large bed sheet in the sun to dry, struggling a little bit with its size, you fail to notice the big, black raven land on the table you have your tea set on. It takes you a couple minutes, but as the raven watches you, you manage to get the damn sheet hung up as well as the rest of the laundry- before turning to your breakfast that had been cooling down while you worked.

You see the raven immediately, of course, perched a little too close to your porridge, and narrow your eyes… inching towards the table just a little bit at a time, hesitantly to waive your hand at it. “… Shoo.”

It doesn’t make a sound back, doesn’t even move. The thing just stares at you until you get as close as you dare, a couple steps, and stand there quite put-out at its gall. You are the human, aren’t you? It’s the woodland creature. Shouldn’t it… scatter? Huphing, you set your hands on your hips with a frown. This just wont do.

… Narrowing your eyes and thinning your lips, you attempt to vocally request it leaves your food alone- why you thought that speaking fairly to the bird would help you, you have no clue. But it wasn’t responding to traditional waiving and shooing, so why not try? “… excuse me? That’s my breakfast, sir- or ma’am? I’d really love it if you flew a bit away from it.”

At this, miraculously, the raven actually does lift up into the air with a flap of its wings, and you watch with wide eyes as it lands then on the chair beside the table- and promptly turns into a man.

Your jaw drops open and you breath in deeply to scream at the horrifying impossibility, that this aviary just transformed into a man, but he who is currently gazing into a black hand mirror at himself, oh-so-delicately raises a finger at you as if to shush you- without even glancing away from his reflection.

Promptly you shut your mouth, and frown again in an unamused, perturbed sort of way. Well, he’s a bit cheeky.

God- what are you thinking? You should be freaking out! This man was just a BIRD!-

You’re about to go ahead this time and scream at the top of your lungs, but just in time he actually looks away from the mirror an his soft gaze falls on you. “Please, don’t.”

Letting out the air again that you had in preparation to scream, you clench your fists in frustration and shake your head. “I think I have every right to scream!”

“Sure, of course you do- laying your lucky eyes on ME!” Oh- seriously?? “Aha, but please, I have business to attend to with you and it’ll be a lot easier for us both if you just keep your enthusiasm for later. Thank you.”

What- Looking around, you half wonder if this is a crazy trick of some kind. Loki? Are you around??

Who even is this man????

“Uh… you have… business, with me??” What kind of business would a bird-man have with you? Gods, so many questions.

“I do,” Giving a sweet smile that you don’t trust one bit, considering the mischievous nature of transformation magic and the almost sickly-sweet sound of his voice. While he pushes out of the hair you were going to have your long-forgotten-about breakfast in and stalks around you- long, long legs taking him in a circle around you swiftly.  “See… “Oh, he’s gazing at his reflection again. “My Mistress thinks you have a quality she could use. And she would like for you to join forces with us. Of course, there’s more to it then that and… you’d have to learn to live near me without becoming too enamoured all the time... but there are perks. Protection, for one- “

“Wait wait wait,” You cut in, turning just in time to cut him off from another circle, setting your hands back on your hips and leaning towards him; A stern look on your face as you tilt your head to the side. “Who’s your mistress?”

“Umm… “The guy looks upwards, thoughtful and only a little bit startled that you’re acting so gutsy with him. “I think you’ll have to give me an answer, before I tell you that.”

“Well, what’s the question??”

“Will you join her?”

“I don’t even know who ‘she’ is!!” This whole thing is mad-

“My apologies sweetheart- “

“What’s your name, then??”

“Oh,” The man drops down gracefully to one knee at once, then, and takes your hand in his; Guiding it towards his lips while you just seethe with frustration above him. “I’m Malfie~ “

You wrench your hand quickly away from him before he can kiss it, and his eyes go wide- looking up at you with a sudden awe-struck wonder. And- what- Is that a blush on his face? Is he serious?? “Take me to your Mistress, Malfie. I think I’d rather conduct business with her, if I must conduct it at all.”  

“As you wish, love… “

I’m come here as soon as i saw that you write nd draw for Villain recruiters bc there is not enough writes of the babies,,so, i remember seeing on a post (don’t really remember if it was yours or if it was other person) a headcanon that said “Malfie has a soft spot for children” and that make me think about how would the other recruiters be with children (platonic ofc), could you write some headcanons abt it? Whatever makes you feel comfortable!

First of all, thank you so much! I'm also glad that you've enjoyed my work so far! Second, I'm not quite sure if I headcanoned that or not, BUT! It sounds too cute to not write about.

So, in honor of your ask, let's get into the cuteness!

The Villain Recruiters with Children

Apple Poison 🍎

Before his inevitable character development, Apple kept his distance from children whilst on the job.

He didn't hate children, but his aloof nature definitely gave an ominous vibe towards guests. Though his politeness and bluntness were, somehow, what drove kids to Apple.

As his icy exterior melts away, Apple begins to indulge in the children's games, silly requests, or just them asking for company.

This was made possible thanks to his crazy, vibrant coworkers who became a family. Especially Pretty Scar, who, in all her annoyance, helped train Apple to adjust to children's behavior. He's dealt with the hyena girl's shenanigans on a regular basis, dealing with normal children is a cakewalk compared to her.

Jack Heart ❤️

Oh, Jack loves these little buggers!

Entertaining the kids during the stage shows is the highlight of his day. The laughter, the cheers, the excitement! It practically fuels him with joy and the strength to keep performing.

Jack adores children! He'll play tricks and pranks to make them laugh. He doesn't mind babies either! If they start crying, he'll make goofy faces or dance to help them smile again.

Just a warning, though, chaos always follows Jack wherever he goes, being from Wonderland and all, so if he somehow ends up babysitting, know that your house will end up burning down.

Malfi (Malfie) 🪞

Malfi's not super into kids, but he enjoys their company more than Apple.

He's more than willing to show himself in all of his handsome glory off anytime for them, but he's not used to all of affection they tend to give him. They ruin his hair!

He does have a soft spot for them, though. They may ruffle his feathers from time to time, but he can't bring himself to dislike them at all.

Malfi had a difficult childhood, on account of his parents following nature's guidelines in throwing him out of the nest because they deemed him as "weak." He never had anyone to look up to, other than Maleficent, and his days before her were quite lonely.

Beauty and childhood innocence are sacred to Malfi, so if he can brighten up a kids' day with his gorgeous self, whatever happens is worth it.

Eight Foot Joe 🐙

Joe's not the biggest fan of kids, nor does he have the energy to deal with them.

Before he became more socialible, he would do everything he possibly could to get away from the kids.

If someone, particularly a little girl, is wearing an Ariel costume, Joe will scream at them to try and get them to go away. It's not the kid's fault, he just has trauma surrounding the royal family and Ursula back at home.

Eventually, Joe will realize that making a decent impression on the public is part of his job, so he'll get used to it. Again, he's very socially awkward, so interacting with anyone, let alone children, will take some getting used to.

That "I have no idea what to do" phase will fade soon enough. He'll accept children in a very "tired uncle" way.

Mr. Dalmatia 🐾

Dalma is surprisingly good with kids despite his slight prissiness.

Dalmatians themselves are a very energetic and active breed, so most kids enjoy having the dog recruiter around.

He may get scolded for running around like a dog in his human form, but no one can or really cares to stop him. By playing with the kids, he's technically still doing his job, so why bother?

On some days he will be more irritated than usual, like if the babies are too loud, his coat gets ruined, or is just having an off day, but other than that, bring them over!

Pretty Scar (Mzuri) ✨️

Children are adorable, and so is Mzuri, so of course, she loves kids to pieces!

Being a hyena and all, she's used to interacting with dozens of kids at the same time. Playtime is funtime, so long as her hair, dress, or makeup don't get ruined.

While her colleagues might find her obnoxious, she finds solace in the fact that the kids like her, so that's more than enough!

Ms. Hades 🔥

As the designated mom of the group, Ms. Hades is quite the expert at dealing with children responsibly.

She may not understand everything, given that she's spent all of her immortal life in the Underworld and heard all kinds of stories about betrayal, family murder, and massive family drama from Olympus, but upon realizing that their world is massively different than hers, she understands soon enough.

Sometimes, she'll spot children and their parents having fun and doing family things, and eventually, she gets a better understanding of human life and culture.

She becomes more friendly and hospitable towards the kids, and while she's still fairly strict with rough housing, she won't get too heated over it.

Veil 🔔

Veil was once incredibly uncomfortable towards children while she was still in France. Her childhood was full of abuse and neglect, and she found refuge in the church with the infamous Claude Frollo. All of this put together made her socially inept outside of her normal duties.

Despite that, however, working with the recruiters and talking to staff and customers has improved her social skills. She's even found that children are far easier to talk to once she grew to understand them.

Her singing voice often puts fussy babies or rambunctious youngsters to sleep, much to the parent's delight. The praise she earns for it sends her over the moon with joy.

Lady Hock (Hook) 🪝

Ah, the suave and adventurous pirate lady! A lover of the seas and of boisterous little tykes!

Similarly to Malfi, Hock wishes to protect the innocence and wonder of children. As such, she will grant the desires of any child who asks of her, whether their requests be sword fighting on the roof or singing sea shanties on stage.

Faja (Farja) 🌹

As much as Faja likes kids and their enjoyment of her magic tricks, she's still the hothead of the group. Patience is most definitely not her virtue.

Babies crying can get on her nerves real fast, and she doesn't have Ms. Hades' calm and collected nature, or Jack's funnyman persona, to help her out. But since she's around kids a lot (again, this is Disneyland), she gets more used to it. It still annoys her, though.

Faja will make the kids laugh, unintentionally, when her spells backfire, and she'll either be furious with them seemingly making fun of her for it, or she'll droop down like her flower in defeat.

But! If the spell, by some miracle, actually works and the kids applaud or demand an encore, Faja will be more than happy to oblige.

She may be more of a"spunky aunt" type than a "mom" type, but thar doesn't mean she won't get all sappy when the kids say that they love or that she's their favorite out of all the recruiters. She'll just start bawling.

I've never seen anything with Malfie mentioning Diavel from the Maleficent movies but I have seen fanart of them acting like brothers which is my personal favourite! I haven't seen Joe really talk about Jetsam and Floatsam but he seems to just treat them like workmates while Jack Heart definitely treats the other trump cards as workmates. For characters with more personality such as Iago, I find that the Recruiters see them as pesky rivals or nuisances. I think it ultimately depends on the Disney character haha.

Random Villain Recruiters Headcanons:

Hook knows how to cook. Pirate life dude. So she cooks a lot of the food for the recruiters with Apple, Joe, and Jack since they also cook

Pretty Scar can make a tail and a pair of ears appear at her will to connect with her and sometimes when the Recruiters find a lost child she would let them pet her ears to calm down

Both Malfie and Apple tend to care most about their appearance, so skin/hair/nail routines a norm, especially when their recruiter days are on one day of a year

Speaking of Halloween in Disney, the group tend to act like they won't care if they don't see each other but on the day before the big day when they meet up to know groups and schedules they all basically tackle hug each other screaming about how long it's been. Like Apple, who doesn't seem to the type to hug for more than three seconds, picks up the first one he sees and spins while giving a big tight hug.

A shipper version is Mr. V is so nice enough to allow the lovers to spend this day catching up on a date...or other things since I don't believe a lot of the Disney Villains would approve of relationships between their recruiters

They do go into their human forms when they're back with their villains or if another thing happens

I love the cute headcanons that the villains are basically parents/mentors to the recruiters but to me Captain Hook seems the most fatherly to his recruiter. I don't know why but he just gives me the vibe of dad energy when Lady Hook comes to mind. Like a supportive dad or dads if you want to count the crew who most likely helped raised her

Cruella would be kind of a sucky mother due to her crime against animals and Dalmatia being a dog, but she's learning for the sake of him and that she actually likes him

Sadly I think Frollo is kind of a father figure to Veil but not the best kind... Frollo seems the least reformable in the villain group but Veil talks so highly of him, so I sadly end up headcanoning that if Veil and Lady Hook ended up dating or if Frollo heard about Veil's fascination to the pirate he would spit some religious stuff which would be hypocritical to him since of what he had done. I by no means hit religion as bad, you can like and do whatever you want as long as you're not hurting yourself or others

Jack Heart and Lady Hook play cards together when they have break and get along, both are crazy for different reasons

They all know when Veil is sad if she's not humming or singing

Therefore singing to her cheers her up right away, even if you can't sing!

If they were doing a dance party/contest it's not really a lot but if you get to choose a partner to dance with then do step down since Farja and Malfie seem to have it down perfectly! They work so well together and tend to look like they're flying when they dance together, mixing each other's hometown and magic in their dances as well Close second always is Ms. Hades and Joe, both working so well together despite being so different like water and fire and some how the dancing turns to a tango of sorts

Since apparently Farja is a scarlet macaw (what a pretty bird) she loves pets

Also based on her true form she tends to mostly eat nuts and seeds so the shops have a special health like bar ready for her and Ms. Hades has one in her pocket always

Since "Ms" means someone who either was married once but not anymore or you're unsure if she is married or not, I have a headcanon Ms. Hades was like Meg and she was married but her lover abandoned her and Hades took pity on the girl, which explains why she's kind of a boss-ass-bitch

Jack and Dalmatia cuddle. Ship or not they straight up snuggle if one of them is cold as best friends do

Joe has a habit of chewing on pens if he's stressed

Farja has a hair stim where she runs her fingers through her hair, twirls her hair, etc. But if for some reason she can't do her hair she seeks other's heads and do it to them

101 Dalmatians take place in England so Dalmatia has a English accent that switches from Cockney and Posh depends on who he's speaking to

Sadly like other Disney workers they get hit on a lot and it's usually Joe or Apple who get it worst. But one time Joe saw a customer being too flirty to Farja and she's really uncomfortable he stepped in front of the customer and gave them the scariest look ever and kicked them out

Pretty Scar secretly has a good voice, just lacks confidence that she's good at anything

Apple gives his coat to those who need it no matter who it is or gender
