I put those wings together last night but I love it all the same. Halloween is the one time of year I can actually show off my skills and I live for it. This is an original concept, inspired by baroque paintings and medieval Knights, that went through several iterations as I constructed it. The gold and wine lamé is Vera Wang and from @moodfabrics as is their gunmetal chainmail. The wings are made of heavyweight interfacing, hot glue, too many feathers, and prayers. They utilize advanced slapband technology to bend and open. This #wipwednesday I want to talk about my latest bit of nonsense. I challenged myself to do a quick and easy #diy miley morales costume for Halloween time! I decided last minute to do a miles and gwen cosplay with @katrinavera and all of the suits you can get quickly on prime have the Male muscles printed on, so u knew I was gonna have to get creative. I bought a black unitard from Amazon and a pair of sneaker wedges that resemble miles' and um using permanent adhesive and heat transfer vinyls to add all the red accents. I used my silouhette cameo to do the logo but you could definitely also use a stencil and cut it out. I'm planning to do a bit of a blender design and add accents along the hip and a red hood similar to miles' hoodie and Gwen's hood, and I'm gonna wear my leia afro puffs! This is gonna be so fun!
