i do not know how long ago you posted about your udad nymph ocs but. i would like to hear about them and also infodump to you about my mean russians and weird engineer cowboys

! nymph ocs my beloved...

the main nymphs are aminias (he/they), galatea (they/them), daphne (she/ae), hyacinth (he/she/it), & pelops (he/him)!

they all have long-ish backstories that i havent fully hammered out yet sbjsj but the basic idea is that galatea was an automan that their creator sort of fell in love with (much like the original myth) and after said creator died galatea ended up as a kind of freelance assassin for a while until they got bored with that and went to go work for dionisius. 

i dont have much for aminias besides personality (depressed himbo...) but i do want to tie in the small part they had in myth somehow (fell in love with narcissus, narcissus rejected him, and aminias promptly killed himself). but aminias is the newest of the nymphs & likes to pretend that they don’t care about any of their coworkers until one of them gets mildly hurt and he starts panicking dbjsjf

daphne & hyacinth both were in apollo’s “backing band” for a bit, and actually survived far longer in that position than most, but they felt like apollo wasn’t letting them chase their own passions so they ended up leaving him (like. in the middle of a show they just walked out. it wasnt the most thought-out plan) and ended up as nymphs! (because dionisius would treat them so much better than apollo /s)

and pelops’ story is actually p similar to the original myth, (he almost got killed & eaten by his father but the olympians were able to mostly save him) and he has a mechanical shoulder now so that’s cool :D (not a full mechanism tho. he can still die djbjs) 

and i would VERY much like to hear abt these mean russians and weird engineer cowboys... they sound v neat....
