my modified decora girlz! i put the heads from the mini dolls on the full-sized fashion dolls. it took a lot of patience & power tools but so worth it, i love the proportions so much more now!

"Fishes Out Of Water"

A while back I held an Instagram poll asking what characters people wanted me to take photos of more often, and to my surprise one of the most highly requested characters was Lagoona! Both G1 and G3! So here’s the two of them just hanging out. ^^ I totally think they would get along like sisters. G1 would be the more mature older on while G3 is the younger, more spunky of the pair. Of course, they’re both hopeless romantics for their respective s/o’s. Perhaps there will be a Gil/Lagoona and Dracgoona double date coming soon. 😉

The dress designs are very cute!

Definitely needs to be said though: lack of diversity is very disappointing. I hope they do a part 2 of this theme with more diverse girls but keeping the sweets theme.

Well, have been thinking about doing this for quite a while- went and got my childhood Barbies from my parent’s house, and am sorting through them. Hoping to offer them on tumblr to doll customizers and collectors who will give them a new home! 💕

Most are probably early 2000’s/late 90’s, but I know we got a hand me down collection at some point from a neighbor with early 90’s/80’s stuff. Poor Pocahontas is the worst off…

Not planning to ask for money, just shipping cost. Does anyone have recommendations for how to list things to best catch viability?

"Silly Spooks"

Happy Halloween everyone! To celebrate the occasion, I tried to go for more of a spooky vibe today. Twyla, Frankie, and Jackson love to lurk in the shadows, exploring and creeping about. Hope you all have a very fun and safe Halloween tonight! 🎃

Hey Dollblr look what I found at Dollar Tree!

Collection of 4 fashion dolls. They all have different looks and appear to be science themed.

They are about 5.5 inches (14cm) tall. Clothes and shoes are made of semi stretchy plastic--similar to fashion pollys or the new nanana minis but a little stiffer. Hair is hard plastic.

I bought Viera and Carina, but I might go back for the other two.

Clothes and shoes are removable as well as hair though she only got half a head back there. Arms and legs move back and forth not not out. Head rotates.

All in all I think they are great dolls for $1.25! Not perfect but honestly exceptional for the price. They are sturdy and do NOT feel like they are about to fall apart like other dollar store dolls. Their hair, clothes, and faces are really cute. I also appreciate the diversity, and the women in STEM theme!

I have this idea that when I have the money I'll get floating shelves for all my nanana dolls and hang their matching bag on a little hook under them. But since they don't all come with bags, I'm gonna have to make some. Here's Lila's!

Pretty happy with how it turned out. Even though I had to sacrifice a nail to my sewing machine doing the zipper (this was my first time doing a zipper). Next time I'm going to do the zipper a little differently so it's a bit easier even though it won't be exactly like the official NaNaNa bags.

I have ideas sketched out for all of them, it's just a matter of getting the materials.
