♡ Places to buy emo & scene clothes (that aren't Hot Topic)! ♡
🎀 Dolls Kill
For sure one of my favourites. They have some very popular brands like Demonia and Tripp, but they also have exclusive brands that are really good as well. They collab with Emily The Strange a lot, so there's a lot of Emily merch on there. Their brand The Grave Girls has a lot of really cute stuff and they even did a scene collection a little while ago.
🎀 Killstar
Killstar is a more gothic brand, but I still think a lot of their stuff can work in emo outfits. They have a lot of cool t-shirts and even some plushies under their kreeptures section. They are more on the expensive side, but if you buy when things are on sale, then you can probably get them for a good price.
🎀 Second hand
This is definitely the most affordable and, in my opinion, the best option. This is especially good if you're going for a style that's specific to a certain time period since you'll be able to get authentic clothes from that era. You can also find some cute scene clothes in the kids section. Depending on where you live, it might be a little harder to find good clothes in your style, so if that's the case for you, websites like Depop might be better for you.
🎀 VampireFreaks
VampireFreaks is honestly kind of like the better version of Hot Topic. They sell stuff from a lot of the biggest alternative fashion brands like Demonia, Killstar, Tripp, and even some horror themed brands like Trick or Treat studios. The things they release under their own brand are also really good, especially their shirts.
🎀 Swixxz
Swixxz is Maggie Lindemann's brand and they've got a lot of really good stuff. Their designs are so unique and I think they're a really underrated brand. Their tops are all really cute, especially the sweaters. If you prefer shopping in person, they're also available in Zumiez.
“I’m wearing a thrifted 80s prom dress, crochet bubble vest I made, a vintage silk coat from one of my favorite spots in Oakland, Down At Lulus’, Dolls Kill boots, a vintage beaded purse from The Vault Collective, and a vintage 50s necklace found on Etsy. My style is inspired by whatever makes me happy and brings a smile to a stranger’s face. I dress like an unhinged version of my mom.”
Oh, don't I look nice? Batting my eyes
Isn't it pure perfection?
Cute, think I'm polite, stereotype
Got your full attention
Think that you can play with me?
You better watch your back
The last thing that you'll hear
Will be my laugh (haha, yeah)
