I try my best to not get too political on my blog, especially in complicated and divisive situations like these, but I feel like people need a reminder:

You can support Palestine without being an antisemitic asshole

You can support Israel without being a racist dickhead

You can support either side without generalizing either group or saying that the other group should all die

#i personally am a bit more pro-palestine due to learning about the way they are being treated and feeling like it's unjust and wrong #among other reasons #and i honestly have some strong opinions #but some of you pro-palestinian fucks on tumblr are being so difficult to agree with #and i won't even get into the 'interesting' takes i saw from a few pro-israel blogs #i swear to god i'm going to strangle both of you #and half the time ya'll are white gentiles who have never had a normal conversation with anyone of either nationality!#maybe sit down and watch a few videos from normal israelis and normal palestinians and how they've been affected by the conflict #specifically people who aren't on the extreme end of either side and are willing to provide a bit of nuance #don't use the violence against palestinians as an excuse to be antisemitic #don't use the violence against israelis as an excuse to be islamophobic/straight up racist #this post is probably gonna get so much bs in the replies and i'm kinda scared but i need to say this
