Hi 👋, My name is Rawan. I'm an engineering student, a devoted daughter, the sister of 2 beautiful girls, the youngest of which is my princess Soso who is 4 years old, as well as the sister of three boys and a special daughter to my father, mother and grandmother. I am not a number waiting for my turn!!

I live in northern Gaza in the heart of genocide, and I work tirelessly to amplify my voice to the world through my artwork.

I walk long distances to access electricity and internet, and I try under harsh conditions to ensure my voice reaches the Tumblr community through my friend's art in order to save 10 people from my family by providing them with supplies, healthcare, food, drink, medicine and rent after we lost everything.

Help an autistic trans woman move out of Texas

Hey guys, so I feel weird making one of these, but my dad gave me the okay, so I’m doing so.

The above picture is of my sister, Raven, at her swearing in ceremony when she became a citizen, something she is very proud of and worked very hard towards. Raven is autistic, trans, and an immigrant. Unfortunately, since the election, Raven has been assaulted on two separate occasions, purely based on her appearance and what body parts bigoted people think she may have. They have called her horrible things and threatened her with even worse physical violence than they actually did. My dad is hoping to move from Texas to California, where she will be safer and much less likely to be attacked again. This move will cost a lot of money that sadly went to my dad’s cancer treatment a few years ago, as well as a more recent hospital stay. This is Rania Yousef, (@raniayousef1999) a 25-year-old girl who is trying to collect funds to support what is left of her family. Famine, bombs, artillery and disease threaten their livelihoods every second.

This drawing below is among her many drawings based on the destruction she witnesses in Gaza Strip.

It depicts the horrific aftermath of the besieging of Al-Shifa Hospital by the occupation forces. She embodied this in a drawing, as she and her family buried her father there after he was tragically killed.

Hello everyone, I am Haya Jouda, a Palestinian refugee from Gaza City and a mother of three male children, the youngest of whom is Youssef.

As you know, the fierce and destructive war is still continuing on my beloved city...

Like all Gazans, I and my children have tasted the bitterness and oppression of displacement many times in dangerous places that are unsafe and unfit for life in any way...

During the displacement process, I noticed that my little boy's health was not good, and suddenly he fell into a coma, only to find out after miserable tests in the dilapidated and destroyed hospitals that he had suffered from a malfunction of the pancreatic system resulting in (type 1 diabetes), severe vitamin D deficiency, kidney and liver dysfunction, and severe infections in the urinary system....

I gathered my strength and decided to defy all odds and get out of Gaza at any cost in a last attempt to save my little boy ... I travelled to Egypt, where I have no means of travelling, no costs for my son's treatment and no money...

I am a homeless refugee in a country where I and my children have nothing....

But I refuse to give in to despair and with a heart full of oppression and sadness, I extend my hand to get your help and solidarity with my innocent child. ....

Your support will give my child a new life in good health ....

You may recognize this comic that I created for Mohammed Ayesh (@ayeshjourney) many months ago. We decided to bring this back to promote his new campaign which will help support his family as well.

As I was writing up this post, I was talking with Mohammed about how our days were going, when a quadcopter shot at him through the window.
