honestly love being in the marauders fandom, there are so many talented creators, especially fic writers. like i read popular fics from another fandom, and it just does not hit as hard as the masterpieces yall create over here. other ppl are getting emotional over stuff, and i don’t even bat an eye bc of the absolute tragedies the marauders have put me thru.

OK hear me out, what if universes like All The Young Dude, Only The Brave, Crimson Rivers, ect were all linked together like the MCU based on parallel universes and James for some magical reason (script magic you know) became able to remember his parallel lives ????? And what if he decided to do everything in his power to save the people he loved in those universes ???? I NEED IT.

What if I wrote mental asylum/psychiatric ward slytherin skittles fic? Based on the torture poets department?

Like walburga catch jegulus (who have only been dating for a fortnight) and sends regulus there in which he entered the ��cruciatus room’ and undergoes like a lobotomy.

Barty is a psychiatrist there (we need to explore how smart he is, canonically) and falls in love with Evan (who is a psychopath) and we have some sort of Harley Quinn and the joker variant romance thing. (I Can Fix Him (No Really I Can))

Dorcas is there because she went non verbal and low response after Marlene died (would have occurred pre start of fic) and we have a grief journey there. (Loml)

Then pandora (twins with Evan) is schizophrenic but also someone really calming. (Cassandra)

But suddenly walburga died and disowned Sirius inherited Grimauld and while going through her office finds outlet what she did to Reg and we have a whole psychiatric break in by the Marauders.

The journey of like regulus’ recovery would like feature most of the other songs on the album?

𝐅𝐫𝐞𝐞 𝐃𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐤𝐬.

Regulus trailed behind Barty and Evan, as the latter two were in deep conversation about the newest dark arts teacher. Regulus didn't care much about the teacher, they all disappear within a year.

At the moment, Regulus was being dragged to was a party, being hosted by the Gryffindors. Though he had absolutely no interest in attending, this was possibly the only chance he had to get a glimpse of his brother. Along with messy haired boy he is always with. Entering The Three Broomsticks, loud chatter hit Regulus's ears.

"Reggie, drink?" Evan asked.

"No, it's fine," Regulus shook his head. "I'll get one myself later."

Evan nodded and left to get a drink for himself and Barty.

Barty gave him a grin, "Don't be a bore mate, I know the lions suck but you have to admit, they have amazing parties."

"Don't you have something to do? Like find a corner where you snog Evan the whole night?" Regulus replied in a blank tone.

"You know me," Barty said, clutching his heart dramatically.

Regulus gave out a small smile when he saw Barty going around to find empty spaces. Evan was already busy in a conversation with Pandora and Dorcas. Regulus walked to the bar and ordered himself a butterbeer.

"Here's your drink, dear." Rosemerta gave Regulus his drink with smile, to which he replied with curt nod.

He began to take out his wallet to pay but the barmaid stopped him. "It's paid for," She nodded to the other end of the bar, where stood a grinning James Potter.

Regulus blinked with surprise for a second, before giving a wave of gratitude to James. And James took it as his sign to make contact.

"Baby Black," James smiled brightly, making Regulus wonder, as to just what it was that made him so lively.

"It's just Black," Regulus said in a low tone.

"Well, you are Sirius's little brother, which makes you baby Black."

Regulus scoffed, "And if I wasn't Sirius's little brother?"

"Then our situation would be much different," James said. The smile remained, but his voice was rough.

James leaned in, far too close, yet Regulus hoped he was closer. Goosebumps showed on his skin, making him aware of James's presence. Regulus could see clearly into the hazel brown eyes, which were shining with a glint of trouble so evident, that it made Regulus wonder what mischief was brewing in James's mind. James reached close enough to place a soft kiss on Regulus's cheek. James grabbed his drink and looked straight at Regulus.

"See you around, baby Black."

James gave the boy a wink before turning to find his friends.

Regulus touched his cheek, "Oh fuck."

My biggest red flag is that always when im reading a marauders fanfic im forgeting james has glasses and i always forget to imagine him without the glasses and then where theres a discription of his glasses im always so confused bc like wdym he had glasses on the whole fic???? And they stayed on???? Never broke or shit??????

Severus is the Slytherin-Skittles' babysitter.

Well not actual babysitter, but becoming a big-brother figure to Regulus after Sirius ran away - connections are happening quick and Severus finds himself trying to keep the idiots alive.

...Just to end up out-living every one of them.

First Reg went off, Dorcas right after him.

Then he thought Barty kicked the bucket in Azkaban.

"Last one" for a few years was Pandora, right after he asked her to be careful with her experiments.

And then he met Barty again, thinking that he would go to Azkaban again, but knowing his alive - untill he saw the dementor sucking his soul out of him right before his eyes white escorting Fudge with McGonagall.
