I love Danny Phantom so much from a content creator's perspective. Between the source material and fanon there is so much to work with! He's such a complex character that literally anything can be considered 'in character' depending on the AU

Oh you're worried about straying from the source material? Nah don't worry about it. DP canon is both playdough to shape to my will and the crazy aunt that I ignore at family dinner.

Wanna project yourself onto Danny? Do it. Headcanon? Pile it on, we got room for more. Overpowered beyond reason? Ghost king/Ancient AU. Weak and emotionally fragile? Pick any chronic pain/angst AU. Family troubles? We got it. Good family fics? Got those too. Crossovers? So many. Body horror fan? We have thousands of fics for you. Oh, don't forget that time travel and timestreams are canon too. Also the Ancients are kinda gods? and the doors in the Infinite realms are entrances to other dimensions/haunts. So there's that I guess.

I think it’s silly how in fics Danny’s like “oh thank the ancients” or otherwise using them as a stand in for “oh my god”. He beat half their asses bi weekly and they only made him stronger. He spits on their names like a Canadian who just got attacked by geese 

He is cocky and full of rage. He can and has fist fought several gods, no way is he respecting them.

Maybe clockwork and pandora, but no one else (nope, nvm on clockwork).

Anyway I think he should curse them out or use them in derogatory ways rather than use them as a curse

Danny Phantom: Revived

A (Conceptual) Phandom Event

If you've always wondered what a Danny Phantom animated reboot show would look like, or dreamed of working on it, this event might be perfect for you!

DP: Revived would be a Phandom collaborative project/event bringing Phandom creators together to create a hypothetical animated reboot- the ultimate goal would be to create a coherent fake reboot announcement- maybe an animated trailer, maybe fake screencaps, maybe some episode/clip scripts, maybe some final character designs and environment designs! These could also be compiled into a Art Of book.

The overall story.

Initium: The rise of Nocturn’s true form, the all-powerful god of sleep reborn anew. He seeks to devour the soul against him. His wings embrace the night skies like a gentle lover.

Peripeteia: The turning tide during the battle. Against the god’s sheer might, Phantom is forced to use his new power. A familiar power he was once afraid of. But not anymore.

Finis: Tapping into his soul, Danny releases a burst of dark energy. Void energy. The final blow defeats the nightingale once and for all. He falls into the dawn sky. The eternal dream is finally broken.

Hypnos, the god of dreams, has fallen.

Overall, I’m super happy with this series. This really helped me get these ideas out on the digital canvas, and I’m so glad I did. I’m grateful for the sheer amount of support from you guys when making these!!! Again, let me know if I should blaze this or not, but just clumping all three together.

Also if you artists ever want to try your hand at this, whether it be Nocturn’s form, Danny’s new powers (as shown so far), the scenes presented, or heck wanna make a scene of your own, feel free!!

umm. after lurking in the phandom like a ghost (haha) for well over a year now, i have finally decided to contribute. yay!

please bear with me, i haven't drawn anything digitally in months. oops

The thing is that Danny Phantom fandom is huge, bigger and more active than modern animation shows that have finished recently (around half an year or more than an year) yet it took ages for people in Nickelodeon to realize this?? It took them around more than 15 years to realize that ¨hey, there is a certain demand for this show we aired 15 years ago, what if we took advantage of it and made something?¨

And it is a bit funny they probably didn't realize how huge the fandom was until A Glitch in Time made it on top 5 of best of young selling graphic novels and stayed like that for months on the list.

I mean, it is good that they now are aware of the fandom but man, they took long.

The Phantom Trio at Monster High

Their designs may change over time (lt's still in early development). For those who may wonder, Sam is a Fae, and Tucker is a Mummy/werewolf hybrid. How they were able to hide in the human world for so long? Well, fae can use illusions to disguise themselves as humans, and Tucker's mummy half (which mummys look pretty human) is much more prominent than his wolf half (which he uses mummy based magic to help shift into).

I made Sam a fae cause it fits her personality perfectly. A nature loving badass deserve to be as such (trust me, one does not simply fuck with a fae). As for Tucker, between the ability to ACCURATELY depict what type of protein they had eaten just by scent (including the previous day's meals) and him looking exactly like an Egyptian pharaoh (who's powers are easily used by Tucker), it simply makes sense he'd be a hybrid. I plan to make a gacha series for this au once Gacha Life 2 has studio mode perfected. Until then, gonna post tiny snid bits of this AU.
