You should look at @/ drachenmagier's art on Tumblr. They draw cool fantasy things like dragons and your art made me think of theirs a little bit. I love your work by the way!

21. Art styles nothing like your own but you like anyways

can't beat the invader zim art direction for baffling angular shapes and goofy eyeballs!

i also really love drachenmagier's work because it reminds me of art deco crossed with stained glass windows crossed with the kinds of fantasy illustration i'd see in books when i was little.

anatola howard also makes some incredible stuff and the gorgeous swirly flowing lines draw me in every time. case in point: just went to get the link and spent like 10 mins staring at it

punkray's work is gorgeous and loose and i always feel like you can really feel the push for cool/interesting shapes, and all those big cats look fantastic. there's so much gesture!!!

idk a whole lot of stuff inspires me and makes me feel like i'm 14 again and back on deviantart in the golden years trawling through amazing artists and being totally swept up. i love so many different art styles. this turned into a short rec list lmao

26. What's a piece that got a wildly different interpretation from what you intended

this actually doesn't happen that much! i draw a lot of funny comicky art that usually tries to tell some kind of story or make a funny point, and i figure considering how rarely these get misinterpreted, i must be making myself fairly clear? which is nice i guess?

when people do misunderstand i honestly almost never mind! it is what it is, meaning is interpretation, etc etc.

the only thing i do dislike is when people apply their obscure kinks to my work that was never intended to be read that way. like girl keep that to yourself. people are shockingly well-behaved towards my work even when i'm drawing furries which i appreciate a lot. folks are, at large, pretty polite

Finally put up the @drachenmagier poster I got for Christmas! It looks absolutely incredible, love having dragons on my walls.

Also, the bright white catches the light when it’s dark in my room. Gives it this cool effect where it almost looks like it’s glowing, since you can’t see anything else!

omgg hi! let's see 4. Fav character/subject that's a bitch to draw - Wander... i love this doofus. but i like to draw things in my style and he doesn't translate quite right. -also feral animals, i forget which way their legs bend sometimes

9. What are your file name conventions -either i let it stay with the random name it gave me or i ajsadkldf at the keyboard. SOMTIMES i will put initials

11. Do you listen to anything while drawing? If so, what -i have a system of music bookmarks. i'ts mostly soundtracks to movies/ tv/ games. (i'm reading the bee and puppycat comic rn) (why do i have hairspray twice??)

All vastly different from my style and i love them also i barely follow anyone and i'm still on the search for ppl to follow, but i'm very picky because i like going thru my entire dash everyday. I honestly love all sorts of art, tho i tend to have a bias for bright and colorful stuff (gonna throw in @itoiss @neon-ufo @assorteda @umbrellascribbles cause they have colorful arttt)

30. What piece of yours do you think is underrated -All of my art XD I'm an under-the-radar artist. I'll be lucky if my art gets a handful of notes. Just recently i spent days on an art and barely any interaction. then i did a dumb 5-minute doodle that got 100 notes! (which is a lot for me lmao) I don't mind cause i do art for me, plus if i do get interactions, it's a lovely surprise!
