“Or perhaps in Slytherin, you'll make your real friends. Those cunning folk use any means to achieve their ends.”
MEET THE SLYTHERINS: “the slytherin colors of emerald and silver were everywhere, draping the bead, the walls, and the windows.” “for instance, slytherin took only pure-blood wizards of great cunning, just like him.” “you could be great, you know, it’s all here in your head, and slytherin will help you on the way to greatness, no doubt about that.”

▷I finished reading Manacled for the first time last weekend…and it was a lot to process!! lol I definitely understand why it’s one of the top Dramione fanfics—the writing and character arcs are incredible.
▷I had so many thoughts while reading—sad, mad, annoyed, exhausted, etc and if a story can stick with you long after you’ve finished it then it’s a great story
▷One thing that I was fascinated with was the runes mentioned/used. They had a Norse/Scandi origin and when I researched further I found another rune that wasn’t mentioned but I thought represented Draco—Tiwaz.
▷This post is my dedication to the runes…
*noted-my headcanon has Hermione mixed/black, sorry not sorry!

would love some draco fluff! u can ignore if u want : )
the wedding
a/n: just a little something inspired by the slytherin series (its really short)
You twirl around in the dressing room, looking down, watching as your white dress flows around you. It's gorgeous on you, and while it is simple, it's exactly what you wanted. There is little diamond detailing near the waist that perfectly matches the rest of the dress.
It was going to be a small ceremony, just you and Draco as well as his parents and a couple friends. Honestly, that was all you wanted. Intimate was good, it was what you needed after the last couple years in your life.
When people found out you were planning to get married, most thought that it was too soon, after all you'd only been out of Hogwarts for a few years. But you and Draco were sure, you wanted nothing more.
When he proposed, you didn't waste a second before saying yes, giving him a big hug and kiss before celebrating.
Now, you add the finishing touches to your makeup as Draco's mom walks in to help you put on the veil.
"My god, you look absolutely stunning." Narcissa beams at you with pride and you smile back giddily. She had been like a mother to you, making up for the one you never had.
"Thank you."
"I have no idea how Draco managed to get you, but I couldn't be happier."
You chuckle before sitting down and letting her place the veil in your hair. She holds out a small tiara to you, and looks at you questioningly.
"It's tradition, but you don't have to wear it if you don't want to."
Touched at the gesture, you nod. "I'd love to wear it, thank you."
With that, you're ready to go, getting ready to walk down the aisle as you constantly smile. The moment you walk through the doors, you see Draco wipe a tear from his cheeks.
The two of you are standing in the middle of a huge field, a perfect day for the most important moment of your life. Walking there abnormally fast, Draco laughs as you look at the priest, ready to start the ceremony.
"You look- I can't even think of a word. You look so, so, beautiful.", he whispers to you.
Looking down, you blush. "Thanks. You don't look too bad yourself."
The two of you say your vows, laughing and crying as you reminisce on what you've been through.
He dips you down for your first kiss as husband and wife, the both of you smiling uncontrollably as you feel overwhelmed with happiness.
Later, as the two of you eat in your kitchen, surrounded by your closest family and friends, he takes your hand in his, playing with the engagement ring on your finger.
"My wife."
"My husband."
