I’ve also been thinking about which comic to do after I’m done with Mostly (h)Armless.
I’m on the fence between Juracan’s Turf and SKYWORLD.
Juracan’s turf is an epic tale set in a world with wizard theropods who fight gigantic skeleton dinosaurs that are also on fire.
Meanwhile Skyworld is a blender child of How to train your dragon, Star Wars, Pacific Rim and Atlantis the lost empire. Featuring alien, rocket powered dragons with 8 eyes and 6 thumbs called the Felcron and they are ridden by people with Iron Man gear and they fight titanic kaiju that dwarf godzilla in the open skies of a gas planet.
I…I just like giant monsters okay?
Anyway I don’t know which to take. So that means I’ll probably end up doing both at the same time. Pray for me.
Update! I’m out of pre-scanned and edited pages, so if this week is as hectic as last week I might not be able to update next Monday. I haven’t used up all my buffer (yet) but I’m gonna need to sit down and do some scanning soon.

Consider checking out my little tea comic! Learn about tea while following Yunn, a tea dragon, as she comes face-to-face with a dangerous member of her past. It’s cute and made for all ages! Check it out on tapas and webtoons, or support the creation on patreon! New pages are coming soon.
Three years ago I started a webcomic called SUNMAKERS. It went strong and steady for about 5 episodes before the comic went into something akin of an existential crisis. Something about the story was off and I couldn’t figure out what it was. I rewrote it, rebuild the world, reconsidered every aspect of it but no matter what I did, I couldn’t fix it. This story, so near and dear to my heart, was broken. And so I couldn’t continue it or even start over. Weeks stretched into months and months stretched into years. And still I couldn’t find the answer.
Until about a week or two ago when I switched out the main character with a completely different one as a joke. Rather than the previous character, who I actually put a piece of my soul into, whose journey represents the philosophy which guides my own life, I just swapped him out with a walking…shitpost.
And miraculously…that worked?
Not taking this story as seriously anymore and just kind of having fun. That’s actually a much more sustainable approach.
I don’t know if I’ll be able to bring the story back yet. But I’ve felt more hopeful about it than I did in years.
