He thinks so often of her hands, touching him, and her eyes, falling over him easily, and her lips, moving against his softly at first and then with more urgency, so much that the dreams fade into waking life. He reaches for her as she walks ahead of him, leading the way to the war room, and has to stop himself from touching her. Once or twice she looks back and almost catches him. When she catches his eye, she slows down to fall into step with him, slowly moving into his space, pushing against the edges of his daydream.

He pushes back. Theyre just daydreams, just the half baked hallucinations of withdrawal. They don’t mean anything. “The maps for the Wastes are ready, ma’am,” he says, shoving work in between them as though building a brick wall, task by task by map by report by requisition.

“Yes, good,” she says, just like in his daydreams as he pushes her against a wall or a haystack. “Thank you, Commander.”

Not done with bg3 so maybe my opinion will change but right now I think that while bg3 is a great game and has so much to offer in terms of character and story, I also just... vibe with the world of Dragon Age more. Like bg3 is by far the more fun game to play and it has meaningful themes about cycles of abuse and realizations of self-worth. But dragon age. I don't know. It feels more concise about what it wants to say. Bg3 throws everything and the kitchen sink at you which means some things get lost in translation or are so obvious that it beats you over the head with it. But dragon age is, for the most part, about religious authority and oppressive systems stemming from that authority, and it's entire world and story and cast of characters are built from that one premise to explore dozens of different perspectives on the same theme, and I feel like I can connect with that approach to worldbuilding so much more

a lot of ppl donk on sora’s (old) minifig hair bc of how it’s not accurate to the show, which i totally get bc i also prefer the show hair, butttt

i think it’s nice that they specifically chose to recolor mei lmk’s hairpiece, instead of just choosing another ponytail one. bc mei’s hair was made specifically for her to have a dragon-like silhouette, with the buns being horns and the back spiking out to be like the beard

so even if it’s far from accurate, im very cheesed they decided to go with this hairpiece specifically

Honestly, I love imagining that Kae behind the bar would make cocktails a la TipsyBartender as a bit, but then get genuinely invested in what limits he could push his own ( and especially Venti's ) alcohol tolerance and what flavors he could end up mixing up. That menu, however, is off-limits for everyone except himself, Venti, Albedo, and Dainsleif.
