Ty’s personal mech

To clarify on that last post now that I’m lucid, and class is over, I’m gonna make a point form list about her primary after the cut. Boy I need to rethink some ideas.

Side note, probably going to not tag it as mq anymore but I don’t think I’ve seen other people’s mechs that they’ve made for their own OCs. It must have been real fun when mq was in its stride ;;

I’m calling this mech Ty’s primary in that she does have other ones and can pilot other ones, but this is her favorite and she can pilot it best. Anyways--

Vega

Its frame was stolen by Zakhar and given to Josephine when she started to pull three times her weight with the team.

Was passed on to Ty some time later.

Originally had a serial number for a name but cause it had to be registered when “candice” started attending a school, Ty didn’t know where to start so Dkath typed the name in without her knowing.

Vega is in reference to the Celestial Princess that is separated from the shepherd Altair, and they only see each other once a year when they cross over from the two sides of the milky way to meet.

Initially was fully black with a visor helmet, and was made for mech to mech/ship combat. 

Fitted with riot control gear later when the DGS started taking more and more jobs to control civilian populations for particularly corrupt governments.

Sound weapons to disorientate, targeting systems aimed to quickly wipe crowds, several options to maim and cause terror, compartment to stuff prisoners into. all that joyful stuff

Then things got more intense after it was first decommissioned but Josephine refused to let it go. They built it back up from scraps and then they started on wiping out whole populations for colonization purposes. 

It was already a fast and light mech but it can turn very sharply now that it has to do combat in densely populated, small areas with all those big buildings or other obstructions. 

Zahkar also added the kick where it will convert all remaining energy to jettisoning itself into the next galaxy if it reaches a certain damage level cause Josephine tended to get reckless in tougher conflicts.

Once it was in Ty’s possession, she was gifted some equipment upgrades for the mech, and new shiny white armor paint job. The helmet visor is gold now. I don’t know colours, this is prob really ugly but this is also like a reference to ty’s armor in DF verse, which is also called Vega.

Dude it has to have a cool sword. Maybe it got salvaged from Excelsior’s parts long after it crashed and burned on a comet. 

I’m just stuffing whatever I want into this now.

Its most recent upgrade included multiple locks and a more advanced identification system. Only Ty can pilot it directly and the kick is unremovable unless it’s switched off by the guy that put the lock on. 

There were a lot more joints added so it’s more dexterous, and has sharper edges. Microspines on its surface will rip up metal with a little brushing.

And then the weird shit that started happening when Ty started piloting and when she was salvaging excelsior. The hydrolics run black for whatever reason, and reject any attempt to charge the mech with (foreign) magic. And thought it was already a frankenstein of weapons and parts from lots of different machines and mechs, its started to absorb parts on its own. Really greedily too so if it’s stored, it can’t be with other mechs unless they’re ty’s friends’.

Kay that part where its arms turned into a rifle when Ty’s mom was using it...that’s flamek. That was totally flamek and I didn’t even notice. Sure actually! Ty’s mom is eustace now.
