So yeah our group was facing an evil King and Henchmen of the bbeg. And well. Our rolls were very terrible this session despite the Two Bosses we faced were nasty but we were able to have them win. We had some character lore teases. MAJOR EMOTIONAL DAMAGE to one of our players ships. Aaaaaand.
OUR NEXT MISSION IS TO SAVE THE PRINCESSES!
YES THE BEANS ARE THERE! They are the princesses of the dnd world i made. Although in this their name are different and they are born from the same evil dad so no shipping these two.
Red is Chelsy
Blue is Faye
I would also like to thank @purplebehittindifferent for helping as she was the one who made concept art for them! Bless your sweet soul for your help.
And thank you for the art @xjunjox
Need a festive NPC for your game? You can use Jack Frost.
Do you need a festive NPC for your game? You can use Jack Frost.
For the Player
The urchin that stands before you is almost deathly pale, his hair so blonde it might as well be white. Looking to be of an age caught between the innocence of childhood and the disquiet of adolescence, his clear blue eyes have an ageless quality to them, where mischief and wisdom twinkle in equal measure. A chill surrounds the boy, who seems altogether untroubled by it, despite his threadbare clothes and bare feet.
For the DM
Jack Frost may be a harbinger of winter, cold, and ice, but he's also a consummate prankster who brings in his wake the joys of ice-skating, the fun of snowball fights, and the beauty of frost crystals. As a result, his reputation among mortals is mixed, but his incarnation responds in equal measure to the way he is treated. With a short fuse and a distaste for metaphysical debates, Jack exists for the present moment with both grim purpose and childlike glee.
Within the last few sessions of the very first DND campaign I ever ran, the gang is going to be facing off against my homebrew take on the Black Spider. She’s got them caught in her web, where they currently sleep, dreaming of the most ideal version of their lives- where nothing bad ever happened. ✨
The party will have to work together to wake one another up by confronting the truths of their past, what really happened, and face the pain together, so that they can wake up and put the Spider’s evil to rest, saving Phandelver. 🕷️🕸️ I decided to design costumes for the party based on everyone’s past/ home and it was super fun!
(First to last: Hernando’s kingdom of Durvshava, Noone’s town of Wrathstand, Pyrus’ home of Toxiros, Ector’s town of Luskan, and Arteus’ demiplane.)
This is a police station and morgue. The upper floor has a reception area, four clean jail cells for holding prisoners, a magical interrogation room, and lots of desk space for officers to carry on their investigations, or do all their paperwork.
The lower floor has the paperwork archive for past cases, as well as an evidence room, a meeting room, and a morgue where bodies are held and examined for cause of death or corpses are reanimated to be questioned regarding cases.
The mountain barrow tomb juts from the rugged terrain of the mountain's peak, its weathered stones blending with the natural rock formations. Massive stone arches, intricately carved with ancient symbols and motifs, adorned the entrance, creating an imposing yet eerily beautiful facade. The arches loomed overhead, casting long shadows that danced in the flickering light. At the barrow's entrance, a large and ancient door still stands, rusted in place by an age of neglect, guarding the final resting place of the inhabitants of a bygone age.
The lotus is commonly found floating in the pools of swamp water, but may also grow in mounds among the peat. Though the name may be deceiving, it is actually two organisms, a cnidarian and a plant, in a mutualistic relationship. Normally white in color it turns a crimson red after feeding on a victim's blood.
When a creature touches the lotus, its tendrils shoot out in a 5ft radius. All creatures within the area must make a DC 17 Constitution saving throw, taking 3d12 magical piercing damage on a failure. If the creature fails by 5 or more it takes an additional 6d6 piercing damage as the lotus drinks their blood.
Each part of the lotus is a separate target, the cnidarian and the plant. Both have 5 AC and 15 HP each. The cnidarian is resistant to fire damage while the plant is resistant to cold damage.

Do you need an NPC for your game? You can use Minëlla the Elf Princess.
For the Player:
There is a hardness beneath the graceful female elf’s wan smile, an aloofness as she regards you coolly. Though her simple and practical garments very closely resemble her peers’, a few delicate ornaments of gold filigree, fine silk, and a circlet mark her superior station.
For the Dungeon Master
Minëlla is the granddaughter of Finrandir the Ageless, and serves as her forebear’s most trusted advisor and counsellor. It has been decades since any foreigner in these lands have been granted an audience with Finrandir himself. By his wishes, Minëlla handles all interactions with outsiders, which she does fairly but always with the best interests of her people as a priority.
