Dear Kaspar,

A little birdie has told me that you've felt guilt over a recent strand of events, yeah?

You don't need to listen to anyone who says those events are your fault. I, as your wife, would know all your sins, and these... circumstances... are just dirt on your windows, to make a reference. And maybe you've done bad things in the past, but those bad things aren't who you are. Even a good person does bad things.

Sin takes us all at times. We all give into the malice at times. There's no point in denying that. And the sin and malice we've committed loses its importance after the situation. Loss doesn't remain, anger doesn't remain, grief doesn't remain, pain doesn't remain. It all comes to an end with the feeling of my gifts.

Perhaps I've felt angered with you before. If I have, I cease to remember it, perish the thought, even. You are perfection. I used my previous translation and Octo's translation of "Tree Maiden Millennium Wiegenlied" to make a version of "At the End of the Millennium Vow" that fits with the song and rhymes <3 (You can use as long as you credit me but it's probably not very good)

At the end of the millennium vow Anchored to a fate of destruction The Millennium Tree has kept watch until now The history that humans spin of punishment and sin

[History 1: Sin] Once upon a time, and deep within a dark forest I fell in love with Eve, whom I met in this forest I helped her find a pair of precious red fruits I helped her find a pair of precious red fruits And with this wicked act, it was the beginning of all sin.

Seven lights were scattered about the southern sky. The one who sought them out… was The Sorceress of Time

At the end of a decade of madness… It started to move, the demon of sin I was small and frail in a body like this. With my small and frail body, I couldn’t even do a single thing.

[History 2: Reincarnation] The Sorceress of Time had sought someone for her apprentice. I was chosen as a candidate for this. I, a spirit, was reborn into a human body Identical to girl I once loved’s body And with this wonderful act, "I" finally became "me".

Little by little, I had begun to see The joy brought by living as a human being.

A gentle servant… a small and frail maiden The the many encounters that I had been through, I had all but forgot the footsteps of sin. Without realizing they were right behind me before I knew.

[History 3: The Millennium Tree] The assassin was laughing at my body pierced by a knife Are they a pawn of the girl who’s taken many lives? My body finally gave out to exhaustion. My body was transformed into a sapling. I will watch over history as a great tree in the dark forest.

One day, at the end of another century “I” had appeared in the forest, it was Eve in the forest

At the end of five centuries of grief "I" had been reunited with "me." The Sorceress of Time had taken hold of Eve. And eventually, everything came together in a single fury.

[History: 3 Punishment] The tragic Nemesis, who despised her own father… Had become the world’s wrathful dictator Similarly, she held for the world this same ire So, she engulfed the world in “Punishment’s” fire And with this final act, it was the ending of all sin.

The whole world was nothing more than a wasteland. But even so, the place my heart remains is in this world
