what’s everyone’s favorite starter trio in pokemon? like not the one with just your favorite starter in it (though ofc they usually overlap) but one where you like every single pokemon in the trio a lot and think they compliment each other really well or you just really like the games theyre from, etc. for me its the unova starters, i have so much nostalgia for every one of them and theyre all pretty special to me

looking at wc excerpts is so exhausting bc ill hear secondhand stuff from the fandom about female characters and their situations and go “wow i kinda hope she interacts with this other female character, i think they’d get along really well” and then i do find excerpts where they interact and they hate each other because the erins will scream and die before letting two grown unrelated female characters have a nice interaction post omen of the stars apparently

oh so when moth flight has kittens as a medicine cat and gives them away to strangers, one of which let his own son die and considered killing babies, because she can’t deal and somehow cant ask her clanmates to help, shes noble and brave and wise and shaped things for generations to come and she gets to die peacefully with all her children being like “wow mom that was so cool of you, we’re so happy and you are so smart and epic”, but when leafpool has kittens as a medicine cat and gives them to her sister who she knows wont mistreat them, she’s treated like shit by most people around her and shes so unforgivable that her children can’t help but snark about this at her funeral and shes almost sent to cat hell. ok

i actually think its pretty cool that nemona chooses the starter thats weak to yours in regards to her character- shes basically giving you a leg up because shes being courteous, since shes champion already its not like a hop situation where we’re always one step ahead- shes calling from the finish line. but shes also challenging herself with the weaker starter
