Do elephants cry? No!

It is impossible for #elephants to cry emotional tears as they don't have tear ducts. They have what is known as vestigial tear glands.

Elephants have emotions but they cannot cry tears. That's just #fact!

This is how the #animalrights vegan movement operates. It's all about emotive deceit!

Elephants produce tears to lubricate the cornea and wash away any irritants that may be present. The more irritants there are, the more tears there are. Just like all land mammals including humans.

That is what is happening in this photo.

So the baby elephant crying with uncontrollable tears from the loss of his/her mother, and Raju the Indian elephant that cried when rescued by #WILDLIFESOS are false claims. These stories/claims are designed to tug on ones heart strings for you to feel emotion, spread the story, and donate.

Live the life of an ele for a day!🐘🐘 Instead of supporting commerical elephant riding, we had a more special intimate session with this mummy + baby elephant from [Chiang Mai Elephant Legend] tours, feeding them bananas, followed by spa-ing with them in mud, and lastly splashing them clean in the river. Three elephants (two females and a baby) played in the river and floated with the current for a solid half hour. The baby was almost never above water, and she was having so much fun!! Side note: It makes me happy knowing she will never go through the torture of being broken for riding. If you've ever ridden an elephant, that elephant was beaten for months in order to allow that. I rode an elephant once. I still feel awful about it.
