Killer Queen [Ch. 2]

✏︎ summary: y/n Silvius –– daughter of the Alpha of the most respected and powerful pack of the first were-witches (werewolf + witch). She needs to find the remaining Crescent Wolf Pack members as the Elders are planning to reunite the seven packs, namely: Crescent Wolf Pack, Northern Wolves Pack, Moon Shine Pack, River Pack, Lycan Blood Pack, Midnight Stone Pack and the Malraux Pack. On her journey, she met the family whom the witches and werewolves warned her about, The Mikaelson Family.

After the meeting with the Elders, you and your family went back to your own homes. "I'm going to pack and then take a sleep. Good night, Mom. Good night, Dad." You hugged them both tightly. "Dear [y/n], come here. Your dad and I would like to talk to you before you start your journey in finding one of the Crescent Wolf Pack members."

You walked towards your fireplace and sat on the floor in front of them, "What's up?" Your dad, Adoff Silvius, sat near you and told you something about New Orleans, while your mom, Leah Silvius, got the book of the Ancient History of the Wolves.

"Back when I was on my way looking for the Moonstone, I befriended some of the folks in New Orleans. His name is Alaric Saltzman, a history professor. Of course, he never knew me. The people in Mystic Falls thought that the wolves are not real. However, when one of the Lockwoods, Tyler, I think, activated his curse by killing a person, one of them saw it and that's when they know that legends are real. Eventually, I was able to lure the young Lockwood and got the Moonstone before Aiden's dad." He smiled at you. However, that smile faltered when he started talking about New Orleans.

"Okay, Dad. Now, what does your story have to do with my journey to find the Crescent Wolf Packs?" You looked at them both. Your mom, opened the book of the Ancient Wolf Pack, and said, "You, my dear, will be the one who's going to unite the packs. One of my friends in the New Orleans, Vincent, has told me that it would be best if you try to not do any magic and even use your wolf side. The guy running the town, Marcel Gerard, is known for killing the wolves and the witches if they did not abide by his rules." You are saddened by this fact. You know that it's hard for the witches and werewolves to leave their territory as it is where their powers reside. "You have to find the brother of the Hybrid, Elijah Mikaelson. One of the Original Vampires. He can help you. My guy, Vincent, has told me that he can be reasoned out to." You are now starting to get curious about these Originals, the Mikaelsons.

"Back in the day, the wolves are powerful because they are united. The seven packs and us, being the leader of the seven packs, was able to maintain peace between packs. While the Crescent Wolf Packs needed to kill someone to activate their wolf side. While us, coming from the Sanguine Pack, the curse chooses us if we are deemed worthy. That's why there are some members of the family of the Sanguine Pack that until now, at their 30s, 40s and 50s, still not able to activate their werewolf side." Your dad explained that the reason why some of the packs left is because of a misunderstanding. Some packs thought that they don’t need the help of the other pack. Now, your mom is the one who's going to tell you about the situation in the New Orleans.

"If they are the Original Vampires, aren't I walking in a sacred place and might as well get killed in the process?!" You are in distress. All these ancient history talks are now spiraling in your head. "The Mikaelsons, as the Elders would tell us, are the dangerous, and well dysfunctional family in the world. Legend says that they will do anything for their family even if it means killing or sacrificing their loved ones." Now you are scared. "However, they are the only chance you have to find one of the Crescent Wolf Pack members as his brother is a Hybrid. The hybrid's name is Niklaus Mikaelson. He's got a witch sister too, Freya Mikaelson."

You thought to yourself, Thank God at least there's a witch in the family.

"Now, dear. Your father and I loves you so much. As much as we wanted to help you, this is part of the process. We believe in you. Our daughter, our heir. You are the most powerful were-witch of your generation. And in no doubt, you will be the first female Alpha of the pack." Your parents hugged and kissed you. Well, being an only child has its pros sometimes. You said your good night to them.

You started packing your grimoires, your weapons, a weapon that is made from the ancient white oak stake - legend says that this ancient white oak stake is the best wood to kill or to protect yourself from. That's why ever since you started learning how to create a weapon, you used them to create one.

The next day, you and Aiden trained in combat and learned protection spells as the next day, both of you will start your journey to become an Alpha. "How are you doing, [Y/N]?" He sat beside you. "You know, Aiden, when we were young we've always been competing side to side. Now that it has come to this, I now wish for us to stay alive in the process. Good lord, vampires out there? Crazy." He drank the water and said to you, "If I become the Alpha, you can still be an Alpha. The wife of the Alpha. Marry me, [Y/N]." You chuckled and said, "Aiden! You're like one of my closest friends in the pack! Never gonna happen!" Aiden smirked, "I know that's going to be your answer. Just stay safe and stay alive, okay? Either of us has only one goal: to protect the Sanguine Pack and unite the seven packs." Both of you hugged and went on your homes for the night. Tomorrow is the day when both of you are going to each of your tasks.

Today's the day. Before you and Aiden left the pack, the Elders gave you two a powerful protection spell to ensure your safety and whatever happens, the two of you will come back alive. And as for you, your mom made you drink vervain. She said that it’ll help you to not be compelled by the vampires. You bid your good-byes to your friends and family. Your parents told you that if it is an emergency, then you'll have to call them as soon as possible. Your pack's residing in the Appalachian Mountains in Virginia. You thought to yourself that this is going to be a long ride.

After almost 12 hours of driving, you now reached New Orleans. As soon as you stepped in the New Orleans, you can see that the city’s full of life. Different to the place you’ve grown up to. In the mountains, the life is chill. But in this city, it’s also chill but there’s always a buzz everywhere you go.

Before you go out of the car, you messaged your mom and told her that you just got in the city. After checking in the Palace Royal Hotel, as you were walking, you saw a voodoo shop called Jardin Gris. You went inside and asked for some herbs, and a girl named Sabine asked you, “Are you a witch?” You were shocked by the question, “Uh, no! I was just passing by. I’m a tourist! I’m [y/n]!” Sabine looked at you from head to toe, “Well, I thought you were a witch. You were wearing some kind of necklace that only a person who knows a powerful witch can have. And I can sense it too.” You are now literally breaking into sweats when a blonde girl walked in, “Hey, witch!” You heard the girl talk to Sabine. You tried not to pry but when Sabine asked the girl, “To what do I owe the displeasure, Mikaelson?” You asked yourself, a Mikaelson? The Original Vampire?

“I need a camphor. Now.” You saw the lady Mikaelson wait for the witch. She’s gorgeous, you thought to yourself. You realized that like you werewolves, they’re blending in the humans too. When she went out, you sneakily followed her but you when you went out, she’s gone.

You continued your tour around the place. The night time came and the city’s been livelier than ever. Parties and drinking everywhere. You went inside the bar called, Rousseau’s. A bartender girl named Tanya, greeted you, “Ohhh, new face. What’s up?” You seated at one of the stools in front of her, “[y/n]. Just a tourist from Virginia. Scotch please, thanks.”

After awhile, you feel yourself getting drunk. Someone sat beside you, the blonde girl from the shop and a guy wearing a tailored suit. The guy looked expensive, you thought to yourself.

You heard them talking about a girl named Sophie and about a bunch of witches are plotting against their brother. “We need a witch to do an unlinking spell, Rebekah. It is for the safety of our niece and Hayley.” The girl beside him replied, “We need a witch to do the spell. And after that, I’m leaving this bloody town, Elijah.” You thought to yourself, “Unlinking spell? That’s so basic.” You weren’t sure why but the two of them stared at you, and you asked them, “What?” The guy asked you, “Do we know you? It seems like you’re new in town.” They waited for your response, “What’s with this town and that they keep on asking me if I am new in town?” The blonde girl smirked, “I like her.” However, before they speak again, you left them.

While you were walking, the alcohol starts to leave your system. You sat in one of the bench at Jackson Square. The square is empty, however, there are three vampires who started hovering around you.

“What the hell? What do you want?” One of them started leaning towards you, it looks like they are trying to compel you. But you said to them, “Freaks!” You ran as much as you can but due to you not being on your werewolf form, you cannot ran as fast as you can. “Stop right there! How can you not be compelled? Damn it! Vervain’s in your system. I thought we’ll have a dinner for tonight.” You thought that they were walking away, however, you used magic and you snapped their heads. You ran back in your hotel, and you pray that no one knew that you just practiced magic.

After showering, you heard a knock on your door, you recognize him as the guy from the bar. “Hello, I believe this is yours.” He was holding your necklace, you checked your neck, and you realized that it’s gone. “Give that to me!” The man won’t give it to you. “You realize that you just used magic in New Orleans where a vampire, who runs the town, forbids the use of magic.” You stopped trying to get the necklace and told him, “I just did. I’ll be damned if I let those psycho blood suckers kill me.” The man in front of you gave your necklace, however, there’s a catch. “I’ll give this to you but you need to help me break a link between two persons.” You furrowed your eyebrows and said, “And who are you? Why would I help you then?”

“I’m Elijah Mikaelson, and I need your help.”

Wonder... about your thoughts on Kleya? Klaus & Freya.

I love Kleya, especially in late s2 and early s3. After that, their relation became stagnant, and most of their interactions became plot related, so that’s a shame.

But they had a lot of great moments, which I have partly listed in this post about Freya, but I am happy to talk about them again.

Klaus was highly suspicious of Freya in s2, which was fair. In a way, Freya was a lot like Klaus before Hope entered the picture. Lost, afraid, trusting only him/herself. While Freya did want to join the family, her main goal was freeing herself of Dahlia, and she was willing to go very far to reach that goal. Klaus of course, recognizes this. He says as much to Elijah and Rebekah: 'simple, that's what I would do.'

But it also works the other way round. When Freya went into Klaus' mind, she saw his insecurities, and she immediately tapped on to them. That speech in the bar? "The voice that whispers, 'Why am I all alone?'" It works for both of them, and it hurts.

Interestingly, they were shaped very differently in response to being betrayed by their parents. Freya has painted an ideal picture of her other siblings in her mind, especially Finn and Elijah, and she holds on desperately to that image. Klaus, on the other hand, will always doubt the love his siblings have for him. He doesn't see his family as a strength, but also as a weakness.

While they were similar, they also didn’t truly consider the pain of the other, because they were to blinded by what happened to themselves. They both saw each other’s pain as an excuse. But in the moment when Klaus is daggered, and Freya tries to kill him with the white oak stake but he stops her just in time, seeing her crying? That’s when they both truly understood each other.

Klaus even added her into his 'grand plan' of having his Sisters look after his child (which thankfully was shut down by Rebekah really quickly. Your Sisters are not instant nursemaids Klaus.)

I also love their interactions in early s3. The scene with Bradd/Brody? Gold. Their plan to distract Lucien and her pink outfit? So great.

But also that little moment with the post-its shows their growth, and it was really sweet.

And then of course Freya is captured by Aurora, and Klaus goes in search for her, and later reassure her that she is part of the family, while family is part of the prophecy. They could have reused the Klaus thinks his family will kill him because of the prophecy storyline but they didn’t and I am very grateful for that.

But sadly after mid s3 their interactions are more plot related. And they didn't have a lot of scenes in s4, and I don't remember s5 enough to talk about their relationship, but Klaus walking her down the isle with Elijah was very fitting.

All of this said, they don't inspire me as much as the other relationships on the show. Like I mentioned, their relationship was pretty solid from mid-s3 onwards, and it didn't change that much afterwards. And while I love Freya, she is also the most one-dimensional of the Original siblings. Her character only started to evolve when she met Keelin, which was also the time where she didn't have many scenes with Klaus. Not to sound like a broken record, but s4 and s5? Yeah...

Now I really wish Keelin was introduced in s3. Then the tension between Freya falling in love with this wonderful werewolf woman and her desperately trying to stop the prophecy would hold far more weight than the stuff we got in s4.

Also, I found it strange that Freya spend so much time with Hope in s5, even more so than Hayley and Klaus, and Klaus never seemed to mind that much if I remember correctly, except that he of course wanted to be with Hope himself. At some point, Freya seemed more of a parent to Hope than her ACTUAL parents. And then Legacy comes around and Freya is nowhere to be seen, because they wanted to push the Sad Orphan Hope TM backstory, even though Kol, Marcel, Freya, Rebekah and Keelin are sitting just outside of frame with popcorn going, Wait Centaurs Exist? What The Hell?

So tl;dr: I love Kleya, when they actually have meaningful interactions like in s2-early s3, but they get overshadowed by the other relationships, like Freelin, Klarcel, Klebekah, Freylijah, Freya x Finn. So basically, my only complaint is that I wanted more of them, lol.

Matthias sat quietly, listening, as his mother explained what she wanted to do--what was going to happen, regardless of what Matthias said, not that anyone had actually bothered asking him. So far, he’d only asked her to clarify what exactly ‘signing over custody’ meant, and even that had been barely louder than a whisper; though with the heavy silence in the room, it hadn’t been a struggle for any of them to hear him. Everything she and Elijah said (because of course the self-proclaimed family patriarch had to weigh in) was basically describing what a parent was supposed to do. As much as he loved Kol. . .

“So. . what? You don’t wanna deal with me anymore, so you’re pawning me off on Uncle Kol?” Freya tried to backtrack, Elijah told him he was taking things the wrong way. “I’m sorry, what other way is there to take this?” He was shaking, now, in body as well as voice. “She wants to sign a paper she’s legally no longer responsible for me, right? She doesn’t want the burden of taking care of me.” She doesn’t want me. “You can’t just dump me on someone else’s doorstep and make me their problem to deal with, just because you don’t wanna deal with me anymore,” Matthias snapped loudly as his mother tried to make more excuses. He didn’t want to hear it. He didn’t want her explanations or assurances that she’d still be in his life, he didn’t want to listen to her telling him that this was for the best. All he heard was his mother saying that she didn’t want him, and it hurt far more than he’d ever expected. There was also one more glaring concern for him: What if Kol didn’t want to take him? Where would he go, then?

That thought was too much and Matthias felt his heart pounding painfully in his chest. “Air,” he choked out as he stood abruptly and bolted out of the room. He didn’t pay much attention to where he was going, he just ran until he stumbled onto a balcony and fell against the railing.

Fact:

Everything is pretty much canon all the way up to season 5 of TO.

Hope and Harmony are fraternal twins, both gorgeous like their mother, but each taking after their perspective parents.

Both are powerful tribrids in their own right.

Hope was born 2 minutes before Harmony, making her the first born.

Basically, everything that happened in The Originals still happened, but add in a second child.

For reasons unknown, when Hayley was kidnapped and gave birth, everyone was shocked to see her deliver a second baby girl, completely undetected in the womb. Hayley still dies and the witches just see this as double the sacrifice.

After Marcel rescues the twins from both witches and werewolves, he makes a comment on how he started humming a jazz tune to keep them calm and the second twin started to cry along to the music, saying they were creating the perfect Harmony.

Klaus: Harmony...(stares at his daughters before holding the first twin).

Amongst planning their next move after learning how the witches and werewolves are gunning for the twins, Hayley suggests they send them away until it's safe for them to return. Before they sent them away, Klaus and Hayley discussed names, leading their firstborn to be named Hope Andrea Mikaelson (for she would be the hope of the Mikaelson family and lead the beautiful life Hayley was unable to have as a Labonair) and their second-born to be named Harmony Eve Mikaelson (musical reference from Marcel, the foreseeable peace in the Mikaelson family, and named after Eve, the late untriggered Crescent wolf Hayley befriended who helped her learn more of her family heritage before her untimely death.)

Fast forward to season 2, when the twins return to New Orleans, Ester's surprise of Harmony existence leads her to believe that while Hope id the firstborn, Harmony's use magic in the womb, cloaking herself for the 9 months, thus leading Ester to believe Dahlia wouldn't just take Hope, but her sister too, for she was possibly more powerful than her sister. Luckily, Klaus's master plan saves the girls, while cursing Hayley and her pack for testing to take them away from him.

Season 3 and 4 are skipped ahead with the Mikaelson sibling living with pieces if the Hollow inside them.

Fast forward to season 5, in which both Hope and Harmony are 15. Despite the limited time she had with her father, she never brought in the the "All-powerful Witches" pitch Klaus and her family were selling, unlike her sister. To her, results are reflected by actions and after she and her sister were both possessed by the Hollow, she was almost afraid the practice magic for a time due to fear of misuse.

Harmony's personality is similar to her sister, but a stark contrast. While they both known for their good hearts and generosity:

Harmony is surprisingly Empathetic to Klaus's absence. When it comes to her feelings on her father's absence, she's a lot more understanding why most of her family had to stay away from her and her sister. Being partially possessed by the Hollow as a child left something dark behind, and as learning her family wonderful and horrible past, leaves leaves Harmony somewhat content with the idea it would never touch her again.

Unlike her sister, Harmony has no problem making friends in the Salvatore school, bordering a friendship to Josie.

Harmony never does anything impulsively without thinking of the consequences. And considering her whole life was started with a serious of impulsive actions, she finds no harm in thinking things through and seeing a rational side.

If Hope is Daddy's Little Girl, then Harmony is Mama's Girl. Hayley loves both of her girls, but Harmony stays by her side the most. She considers Hayley her role model and likes to believe she's invincible.

Harmony is crazy for knowledge. She loves learning new spells and, if possible, applying them to her hobbies.

Harmony takes a loving to music just as much as painting. Living in New Orleans has given her a love for colors and jazz music and applying them to music.

Where Hope is more easily capable of Forgiveness after being wronged , Harmony can hold a grudge. Because Harmony is extremely loyal to those deemed worthy, she doesn't just trust anyone.

Out of the two, Harmony's rage is worse than Hope's. Due to her magic and her fierce loyalty to loved ones, Harmony's anger is silent as it grows, making her keen to a timebomb that detonated when she chooses.

For all their bonds, Harmony is NOT afraid of Hope and doesn't hesitate to call her out on her actions, especially when she becomes restless for their father.

Taking in Harmony's personality, season 5 went like this:

Harmony was truly unaware that Hope was dealing in her blood until she gets expelled. Which pretty much leads to Harmony yelling at her for being so thoughtless about her identity as they were both were attending school under "Hope and Harmony Marshall" for their own protection, a similar scolding Hayley uses against Hope upon suspension.

Harmony, upon hearing that Hayley was missing, nearly killed herself upon teleporting herself from Virginia to New Orleans, where she found herself reunited with Klaus, who was less than pleased at his daughter's dangerous actions but understands her reasoning.

While both are worried for Hayley, Harmony feels suspicious when she realizes that their mother's disappearance and father's return was almost perfect timing, and doesn't help when Roman pops in, breaking into their home and getting closer to her sister.

Harmony loses it on Hope when she learns what she did to Hayley. Saying that she's completely become selfish, thoughtless and undeserving of their Mother's love, which Hope replies that she does, but Harmony quickly relays you don't play a dangerous game of "Would You Rather?" with the ones that love you the most. As pissed as she is, agrees to help her find and undo the cloaking spell on Hayley.

In regards to triggering their respective werewolf curses, Harmony states that her odds of actually triggering regards to whether or not it's out of self defense. It's her only consolation if she does kill someone. She also tells Hope she doesn't HAVE to activate it and just be comfortable being a witch. She also adds in how their parents have almost painless transformations, so it might not be so bad if it comes to it.

Once again, Hope and Harmony argue when she learns that Hope tried to bind her wolf side. Harmony, having extended knowledge about the ritual as it was done on Klaus, tries to tells her it's not worth it and that being a werewolf was a lineage inherited from both their parents, therefore shouldn't be thrown away because of fear.

When Hope and Roman run away from the Salvatore school, Harmony uses a spell that inadvertly leads her to the truth of who really has Hayley, causing her to follow in pursuit of her sister. When she finds them, she's too late as Hayley was reduced to just a vampire and in anger, helps Hope snap Roman's neck and rescue Hayley. Realizing that their mother could burn in the sun, Harmony starts thinking of spells to solve it when Hayley tells the girls to run, as the Purists will stop at nothing and they can reunite the Factions one day. However, before they can escape, Greta knocks them out.

When they awake and learn that Hayley was dead, Harmony distanced herself and left the room. She decided that since their mother's death was all Hope's fault, she wanted nothing to do with her anymore. She tries to argue this at her mother's funeral parade, but Freya convinces her and Hope to just keep up the appearance of grieving sisters/daughters. When the Nightwalkers show up, it's Hope's anger and pure Fury on Harmony's part that they destroy vans filled with purist vampires for disrupting Hayley's funeral. It becomes too much for Harmony when Hope yells at their dad's astral projection for not coming to the wake and yells at her, telling her that she everything that has happened was her fault due to her wanting answers to why Klaus ignored her and disregarding that Hayley was all they had until her selfish choices costed them their mother. Hope cries and yells in admittance that her sister is right and that she feels just as responsible and that Harmony isn't telling her anything she doesn't already feel. At the Bayou upon Hayley's burning, the sisters try to set aside their difference in saying goodbye to Hayley, resulting in Harmony taking her mother's moss agate necklace in remembrance (and after lowkey noticing Hope eyeing it, thus taking it first).

Harmony did not want to help Hope trap the Mikaelson siblings is the Chamber de Chasse to take and share an intake of the Hollow. For starters, she didn't want to touch the darkness it left behind inside her and it would defeat the purpose Hope's lesson on why meddling was bad enough. Hope rationalizes that if seeing this as a further punishment for her involvement if Hayley's death convinces her enough, then it won't be a problem. Conflicted as she's still angry but doesn't want that spirit to overtake her twin completely, she helps extract the Hollow and they split it.

Regarding Elijah's role in Hayley's death, from what she was told, unlike Hope, she doesn't blame him as she logically states how could he had helped someone he had no memory of knowing. She knew he was compelled to forget everyone for their safety and felt through the spell that, like Hope, he's just as tormented as with grief and guilt as she is. However, the Hollow is causing duress on both of them as it never stops talking and drives them insane. Realizing that what settles the Hollow is violence (from Hope clawing at Elijah magically and Harmony magically throwing her across the room at his defense), Klaus offers to help them. But upon realizing that they don't want to hurt him, Klaus brings them someone they do want to hurt: Roman.

Locking him in a dungeon in chains, Harmony watches in silence as Hope reels into him what they took from them in Hayley: Their best friend, grandmother of their children, and loving mother. However, as Hope is unable to kill him, Harmony steps in and magically brands him, inciting that, she'll never forgive him and ensures that branding be a permanent reminder of his actions as well as it burning him whenever Harmony's nearby. Both girls let him live. Later on, with the help of Antoinette and Elijah, the twins unleash a powerful pain affliction spell (with the Hollow's help) upon the remaining Purist vampires, killing them all. However, they soon learn that a human had been amongst them, thus activating their curses. It was Pastor Bill.

Klaus discovers that the Hollow is killing both of them, thus needing help from Davina and Carolina's twins to help safe them.

Upon their near death experience, they're reunited with Hayley, who tells them she's at Peace and forgives Hope. Harmony retorts that she'll never deserve it, which Hayley quickly shuts her down and says that they need to forgive each other as they only have each other for siblings, essentially asking her to forgive her as she knows she still loves her. Harmony can't, only able to tell her mother and Hope that while she can move on from her death, forgiveness isn't something she can grant Hope. She jokes about doing it in a few centuries before they return to the Land of the Living. They are able to at least ignore their problems at their Aunt Freya's wedding.

The night of their first Full Moon, Klaus helps them into the woods as they go through their first transformations. The Saltzman twins end up extracting the Hollow and the Mikaelson twins turn wolves, White and Gold respectively.

Upon learning that Klaus intends to die with the Hollow inside him, Hope is despairing that she'll be an orphan at 15. Harmony ridicules as she's not the only one who'll suffer, admitting that despite missing Klaus for years like her twin, she preferred to make the best of it with their mom. Harmony tells her while she agrees that nearly everything that's happened is almost the Perfect Punishment for the firstborn witch, she still loves her and that she'll lose just as much as she had regardless. Hope finally understands where her sister's anger comes from, as she truly had disregarded Harmony's wishes and feelings countless times for her own self pity and apologizes, which she accepts, even if it's not enough.

During the last goodbye dinner, Hope promises Klaus she'll make him proud and he and Harmony have a heart to heart, stating that while she is the vengefulness to her sister's mercifulness, he told her how surprised he was to learn she existed, as if a second chance to respond happily to a surprise pregnancy and though both twins share qualities from their parents, he tells her in confidence that she will be the of Harmony to emerge from years of chaos he and his family left behind. He's proud of her, mostly for keeping faith in him even when her sister didn't and sticking by her side regardless of her own pain.

Let's Finish Season Fucking Two: 2x18-22

So in 2017 I started to rewatch the show but had to stop at 2x11 because Elena annoyed the crap out of me. I literally needed to take a step back and didn't restart my rewatch until 2018 where I have been basically trudging my way through 2x12-17 because I want to rewatch S3, as it's the season I've forgotten the most about.

So last week with a half of a bottle of wine I made it my mission to finish out the season so 2019 I can rewatch season 3 and maybe remember Kol, but I kinda doubt it. I'll probably come out shipping Klonnie more, if I don't see too many temper tantrums.

2x18:

First of all, this is a terrible episode to start with because it's the episode where Bonnie dies for the first time, so dealing with that is going to be annoying. Second of all why do the recap always explain that Elena and Katherine look alike. Not only is that the least complicated part of the show, but it's also the entire fucking premise of TVD. If you didn't know that by the end of season 2 you're really fucking slow, but I guess they planned according for their audience. Also, lots of people look like Nina, so I don’t know how this is the most “unbelievble part of the show.

Anyway, on to the episode. Matt Davis made a great Klaus. I may hate him, but I'm not ashamed to admit he was attractive to me playing the evil Original, but he equally creeped me out which is why I say he made a great Klaus. The way he kissed Katherine's forehead and basically leered at Elena and other students honestly made me more uncomfortable than watching Penn Badgley in You. Davis should play villains more often, seems to be his niche since Legally Blonde. (Although he didn't do a great job with evil!Alaric in season 3 from what I remember, it was a weak storyline that even I couldn't get into when I mindlessly watched the show, it was how I noticed the drop in quality then) Don't get me wrong I like JoMo's portrayal of him too just really only this season before they woobiefied him.

You know, rewatching all of this I’m noticing more and more that Nina isn't that great of an actress. Like, I was never overwhelmed with her talent before and I definitely am not now especially as I watch her play Katherine scared and there is no difference in the way she plays Elena scared. It's like how Elena with no Humanity is Katherine, well Katherine scared for her life is Elena. There's no nuance when she plays these characters. The only difference is the hair and when season 4 rolls around not even that.

Which brings me to Elena stupidity which I'm not even surprised. First, knowing her life is in danger she goes to school and endangers others lives, under the order of it's my way. Which first of all sweetie, your way has always sucked, until you yield good results maybe hold off on making plans. Second of all, the only reason you know you'll be fine is because Bonnie will save you which is a consistent pattern of hers--risking her life with the confidence that someone will always save her which annoys me because what about everyone else. First it was not staying in the car so she hindered saving Stefan, then it was manipulating Damon, and now it's risking everyone else's lives including Bonnie's because school? Which is where I get confused, no one, especially her, are particularly studious, so why the sudden need to go to school. You could ditch and no one would care because Jenna's out of town.

Which brings me to another thing which I'm sure I went over when Jenna left, but leaving teenagers alone for days at a time because you feel betrayed by your boyfriend and teenage niece you have guardianship over is just...I have no words.

When I was 15 my mom had to go out of town for a convention in San Francisco I couldn't come with her due to school. She was gone for 3 days and I had to stay with my Great Aunt and Uncle because even at 15 you don't just leave your kids alone for days at a time (and also my mom was over protective and paranoid but that's beside the point). At least leave an adult in charge, maybe John, he's probably got to be salty that Jenna was God parent and not him, he is in fact Elena's actual father. There were so many nuances with John the could have had, but I'll get to that in later episodes.

See I understand Jeremy being salty at John for killing his girlfriend, who by the way managed to get over it, but I don't understand Elena's disdain for him. It was there before she found out he was her father, before he enabled the device, she just didn't like him and it's never explained. Like honestly when I think about the reason Elena annoys me the most it isn’t that she whines (which has never really been my big complaint with her), it’s the reasons she’s whining and in this case I have extra annoyance because there are actual reason for her to be this salty towards John and none of them are the reasons she uses.

I noted that Klaus had no plans of killing Bonnie until she became a legitimate threat. The only thing that’s honestly annoying me about this is the direction I know they take Bonnie and her magic in season three. She’s powerful and a legit threat against the original hybrid and yet she’s damn near powerless in later seasons it just irks me.

Also noted, I’m not making any arguments for Bamon, it’s just there is a stark difference in chemistry when Damon dances with Bonnie opposed to Elena. For one, when he’s with Elena he legitimately looks like he can’t dance, all his lines are stiff, as are Elena’s. I can at least forgive Nina since she’s supposed to be frosty towards him, but Ian, this is during a time he was dating her meaning he wasn’t pulling petty shit from the finale--he just legitimately doesn’t have chemistry with Elena.

When he’s Bonnie all of that changes, suddenly he does have dance skills, his lines flow naturally, even his acting improves tenfold and he can play nuances that aren’t eyebrow movement. There’s a reason why he’s only bearable when he’s in scenes with Kat unfortunately those scenes are far and few between and always about Elena.

In a weird twist of events Bonnie has the better costume than Elena--she doesn’t even look like a caricature of the 60s other than the go-go boots. Also Caroline dressed as Jackie O. has an amount of irony I don’t even thing she’s aware of.

Bonnie bossing Jeremy around was hot which is new for me as I don’t care anything about Beremy. That paired with Damon’s “not caring” it was an overall good episode for Bonnie...until she’s stuffed in the trunk of Damon’s Camero.

Bonnie’s line “If the situation was reversed would you do it for me?” just has me rolling my eyes because we all know the answer to that--no, Elena wouldn’t do the same for you Bonnie and she continually doesn’t do the same for you so cut your losses. In fact that’s my advice for the entire series, cut your losses, let Elena die, so many more people will get to live when she does.

So when we do finally get to Bonnie’s death I actually agreed with Damon’s sentiment of “it had to look real” Elena is a terrible actress (Elena not Nina though she has a lot of questionable acting), it’s so bad they trusted Jeremy more and he’s not so great either. Also why are they spending so much time on Elena’ pain at Bonnie’s death and not the character who actually died--it’s the Abby situation pre-Abby, like we should have seen that shit a mile away if this is any indicator.

Although, in an unexpected twist, the episode ends on a a decision of Elena’s I agreed with. Granted it came with me screaming at Elena for apologizing to Damon like??? even if I understood the reasoning she literally owed him nothing, but count on Plec with misogyny for the win, and Williamson lest we forget he’s also responsible for this mess. Anyway after Damon’s words, Elena undaggering Elijah was the best decision she made and this is before the betrayal, so I at least understand trusting him.

2x19:

We start with Nina’s god awful English accent. When she ran lines someone should have made her keep the Bulgarian on from the first Katherine flashbacks because Nina can’t fake an accent to save her life. Also much like the flashback in S7 the Katherine flashbacks with Elijah and Klaus are not only unnecessary, but explain very little. How exactly did Katherine escape? Why didn’t they compel her? Did she have access to vervain? Like little is explained about her duality then and why exactly Elijah had issues Katherine. All that was explained is that they were almost lovers. Honestly all we learned about Katherine is that she really likes for people to chase after her.

Damon is just as bad at plans as Elena. Like I hate them both, but sometime DE are a match made in heaven with how awful they are at things. Like I understand trusting Elena’s lead is actually pretty rational given her past decisions, but you way of thinking isn’t any better. Leave the thinking to those who can actually do it.

This is JoMo’s first episode and you know what? I really miss this Klaus. Also when they do the “Niklaus” reveal I thought it was absolutely ridiculous when I first watched it. I still find it ridiculous, but I realize that much like Mikael, Kol, and Rebekah, it was the “fancy” way of spelling Nicolas, and I’m even more pissed off. No wonder I equate the introduction of each Original to introducing another Kardashian--they really love their K’s.

Elijah trying to use OMG as a cultural reference was just cringe. “Our whole family was human” I wonder at what point they decided to retcon this? Probably around the time they realized they could do anything creative with vampires. Also this line “my mother bore seven children” I thought no one knew Freya existed. Finn, Elijah, Klaus, Rebekah, Kol, Henrik, and then Freya--how is she their long lost sister if they already knew about her?

You know I spent so much time away that I literally forgot about Andie, and now I’m very creeped out. They follow the classic domestic abuse formula where she keeps coming back when she has the option to leave. You know, when rape becomes Stolkholm Syndrome and in Plec and Williamson form they try to convince you that this is a normal vampire thing even having the victim saying “I’m perfectly fine with this”. There were so many Nos.

I remember that the whole Sun and the Moon curse was fake, what I did not remember is that Klaus and Elijah started it. I thought Esther started it to dupe Klaus and that the whole sacrifice was for no reason. I have yet to see S3 so that thought might still be correct. Also, white supremacy essentially causing the war between vampires and werewolves--not surprising, but still disappointing.

Jenna’s reaction to finding out about vampires is appropriate granted her cluelessness up until this point is a whole other level. And Stefan’s serious face towards Klaus seems to to just look at him cross-eyed which I never noticed. And of course we end the episode on on of the lamest vampire fights of all time--they really ran out of ideas around here.

2x20:

So Tyler’s back! Unfortunately it’s because Klaus threw his mom down a flight of stairs. Man, he’s been hurting his mom for quite some time. That sire bond really did a number on him to forget this shit. At least he has that excuse, all Elena ever had was “love” and “hope” like bitch,Damon’s been terrorizing your friends and family, he’s had more than enough chances to prove himself. Also Tyler came back for important things. Sorry, Caroline stans, but Caroline missing him isn’t important when his freedom is on the line.

“Damon s the problem, not Caroline,” listen to Matt, Liz.

I’ll give Matt Davis this, he was a pretty good actor here. The distinct differences between Alaric and Klaus were a lot better than the cliches Nina was using. But then again because he only put against her acting that’s probably why it seemed good. I’m sure there is a lot better (I’ve never seen Orphan Black but I don’t doubt she did a better job at playing her clones than Nina did with any of her doppelgangers).

It must be easy to brutalize Elena after brutalizing Katherine so much--he never missed an opportunity to hit her. Although him shoving vamp blood down Elena’s throat wasn’t as anger inducing as it should have been since it reminded me of a time when Damon being the wild card actually made sense. Not just so much that given how early it is in the show him doing random things makes sense, but that his random actions make sense, less man pain, and was actually strategic.

Also why didn’t Katherine drink vamp blood and then go through with the sacrifice--they had the same results except one less angry hybrid. Is this ever explained as to why vamp blood can’t be in your system for the ritual?

Which now that Elena is essentially taken care of, I suggest using the elixir on Bonnie so she can take down Klaus without dying and then we can avoid the whole thing.

Tyler really should have listened to Jules, but then again, I know she’s the one who dies in the end so maybe she should have followed her own advice.

Also I remembering why SE was never my jam--it was a lot of babysitting Elena and her “I don’t knows”. THEN STOP MAKING MAJOR LIFE DECISIONS UNTIL YOU DO KNOW. “I’m 17 years old, how am I supposed to know any of this?” you aren’t sweetie and that’s exactly the point however I don’t understand how being a vampire is worse to her than the possibility of being dead. From what she lists off as what she wants to do, they all can still happen as a vampire, not so much when you’re dead. And even if she does turn she doesn’t have to fully transition so I don’t get the mourning period she’s having especially since THERE ARE MORE IMPORTANT THINGS TO FOCUS ON. Priorities, bitch.

I get Matt wanting to save Caroline--he clearly still loves her, but saving Damon? He said it himself--he’s the problem, he’s the reason your sister is dead, God! protagonist based morality really gets to me these seasons.

“You turned your back on me when I needed you” but did he, Caroline? If I recall, he saved you in the nick of time so...Also, you asked him to leave, what’s with playing victim all of a sudden (while equally forgetting the time you were a victim). Also, Caroline, you really need to listen to Tyler when he tells you to go, granted the other time she does this is in S5, but he’s literally in a position where he’s not in control of his actions and you are what he hunts. Go, when he says go! These women really need to stop with this “He’ll never hurt me” mentality when their monster is coming out because, bitch, how is that working out for ya?

Also the final scene with Klaus, Stefan, and Elena, I swear most of the dramaticism is in the music the scene isn’t heartbreaking enough for this music. And in a town filled with vampires Klaus needed to make a vampire? I remember not liking Jenna’s death and I like it even less here because it really was for no reason other than the writers don’t know how to write parental figures.

Which brings me to Greta. Her complete and utter indifference to her family being dead is really on par with TVD’s views on family. Even worse, it continues this black character forsakes all family for a white character mammy trope they always have with black witches. Although she does fit the Jezabel trope more, but I’m really tired of “loyal” black characters being loyal to everyone but themselves.

2x21:

This honestly should have been the season/series finale--it actually had a great natural ending. The only thing I’d tweak is Elijah following through, and then it would have been the perfect conclusion to this shit show. Instead we go on for another six seasons where they accomplished nothing other than more of a shit show.

So of course we start with Katherine “caring” for which honestly makes no canonical sense. Damon has literally always been a game for her so why either doppelganger bothers with him just honestly baffles me.

Also we start out with some classic Elena “pleading to their humanity” which was almost as laughable with Greta as it was with Kai. Like Bitch, did you not just see how she brushed off the deaths of her family, why is she going to give a flying fuck about you of all people?

Also Greta, sweetie, what are you doing? I get not wanting to serve nature, but Klaus? WHAT IS THIS NEW ORDER AND WHAT DOES SHE GET OUT OF IT? Because from where I’m standing, she’s in the exact same position as servant just now with an added side of “happy slave” because it wouldn’t be an episode of TVD without that trope. Despite TVD using black bodies as food, I will give Jenna props for going after Greta--someone finally using strategy and knowing Klaus has nothing without his witch.

Which brings me to how the MFG plans to defeat Klaus--they don’t and I’m not surprised since it focused completely on Elena. Elena is one out of three sacrifices and the only irreplaceable item--why not focus on the full picture and maybe accomplish something in the end. I’ll give it to Bonnie and her bad ass magic, but it’s honestly not enough. The entire plan hinged on Elijah who betrays them and Elena for some reason trusts again getting Abby killed and turned, but that’s salt for another review.

The salt for now is that Jeremy and Bonnie have been together in an abandoned house for days on end with really nothing to do, and they tried to convince me that season 5 was the first time her and Jeremy had sex, let alone that was her first time. I was suddenly reminded why I thought it was so weird to me that everyone thought that was when Bonnie lost her virginity--like I’d read it in fanfics and be just confused. Granted she hadn’t had a sex scene up until that point, but given the shows attitude toward sex I just assumed lack of virginity was everyone’s default. And then you had this shit, Beremy was never my favorite ship, but I wasn’t so in hatred of them that I would discredit them having a sex life because why wouldn’t they? Everyone else does, and given the shows attitude toward sex, if she was in fact a virgin that would have been known. Of course, my naive 16 year-old ass didn’t realize how asexual they were making her, but now at 25 and looking back at this I’m just pissed.

So when I looked back on season 2 I remember John being more of a villain, not surprising since the narrative treats him as such, but I literally remember him being turned into a vampire against his will and continuing the process. I’m realizing now I may have had him confused with Logan, but I was really surprised when throughout this entire rewatch John is human and then getting to this episode, knowing he dies at the end and the realizing he never was. I thought he was one before Jenna and that was just all kinda of wrong. I guess it’s because the episode had him apologize for all his wrong doings (none of which were his actual transgressions) and I guess my mind tried to rationalize.

Given my complete indifference towards Elena, it is kinda surprising that John’s letter to her still makes me cry, but I’ve always had the sentiment that John is the only person who made any sense sacrificing his life for Elena. TVD may not value familial relationships but I do. However his “prejudices” line gets to me because he was right--vampires are dangerous, and it irks me that Elena wasted the life he gave her. She doesn’t even manage to stay human for a fucking year, and not by her choice which he gave his blessing for. She just Elena’d it.

Overall this probably would have actually been a good episode if Klaus had actually died and it was the last episode. John dies for Elena, Elijah gets his revenge against Klaus, Damon is left for dead, and the series ends on the note that they’re no longer in danger--the end, finito, better than the acid trip series finale.

2x22:

If this episode needed to happen it should have been Damon’s farewell episode. Actually follow through on something with his character and have him make amends and having a heartfelt goodbye. End series and have every live happily ever after because Klaus and Damon are gone, and Katherine who had no relevance after this season leaves as she had no reason to stick around. Like this is where the series should have ended--it had a nice sense of finality missing from the actually series finale.

Anyway, on to the mess of a fucking episode it was first with Stefan, ever so loyal, ruining what could have been a great Damon death. Now this isn’t really because I dislike his character, it’s more that him dying especially here would have been at a time where that would be an actual loss, this anti hero role Plec kept insisting he was might have been able to have been accomplished with his death in this one episode. And best of all, I wouldn’t have had to deal with one more temper tantrum from him or Klaus.

Watching Alaric’s man pain is marginally easier to deal with because it’s not destructive, but then again he’s human so what would he have done. I’m sure original vampire Alaric would have went on some massacres because they can’t resist man pain destruction.

Caroline once again shoehorned, in today’s episode, a brother sister bonding moment between Jeremy and Elena that would, once again, suit Bonnie more, if even her at all because this is a scene that doesn’t require Caroline, but you gotta giver her that unnecessary screen time some how.

Stefan going to Emily literally makes no sense. As does Stefan’s entrance to the witch house. What do these women owe Stefan Nothing. What do these women owe Damon? Nothing. So the insistence that they help him makes no sense. But of course a black witch not serving a white vampire is useless to Plec so here we are.

The urgency of this episode was lost on me because it was getting in the way of a good plot--Damon’s death. Also after reanalyzing Jeremy’s death scene I’ve come to a few conclusions. First: in a crazy twist of events it is not in fact Damon’s fault. He was literally hallucinating out of his mind so I doubt he was thinking about anything logical. Second: Caroline snapping his neck before he officially died could have saved him. Bonnie even said it outloud--he needed to die a supernatural death to come back. In fact, it probably would have made more sense characterization wise given how she became a vampire. And lastly: even if Bonnie needed to bring him back the “spirits” shouldn’t have been so hard on her especially since they weren’t that hard on Stefan earlier. Like he shouldn’t have had to step one foot in that house--he’s still a murderous vampire, I don’t care how much of a “kind soul” he was as human that certainty didn’t translate into vampire form.

Overall this episode was abysmal but so is this series. My overall thoughts on season 2 is that it’s easily a stronger season, but still is god awful and has not aged well. Also the series would have really benefited if it was a two season vampire series from the late 2000s unfortunately that time period wouldn’t allow that. At the hype of vampires they were determined to milk that for everything they could and the still are with the train wreck that is Legacies. They need to let it die.

It seems to me that ages passed since I commented TO episodes. I have to admit that after the leaked spoilers were out, I truly hoped that Julie Scum Plec would have changed her mind about killing Hayley off, but instead, she went out with her crazy bullshit and now, all the possible hype for this last season is basically gone. Anyway, I’m still watching this series because I’ve always loved it since the beginning and I’m in love with the characters and even if Julie Plec is a shitty writer/woman who only deserves to die the same way Greta (and Hayley) did, I’m still hoping that in a way or in another my precious Mikaelsons will find their happiness. After watching the last episode, I had the feeling that Hayley’s physical absence was replaced by her strong, maternal and loving presence. I wasn’t exactly so fond of her when she appeared for the first time in TVD (even though I loved Phoebe Tonkin in H2O so I was curious to see what her role was) but Hayley was so well written and Phoebe was so great at portraying her (in spite of all the haters who said she wasn’t a good actress) that I ended up dropping TVD after TO started (I only watched the final season) because the Mikaelsons and Hayley were simply a far more interesting and compelling characters to watch. I fell in love with Hayley’s character, story and storylines. Among the other characters in the show, more than Marcel himself, Hayley was able to become part of a thousand years old family whose fate was carved in blood, curse and doom. Hayley, who was barely twenty at the time TO started, abandoned by her family, in search of the truth about herself and about her roots, more than a kid herself in the eyes of the Old Ones, became, during these five seasons, the only one who was able to save Klaus from his destructive attitude, to give Elijah the love he deserved when he only thought about sacrificing himself, to give Rebekah and Freya the chance to have a family. Hayley gave them Hope, both literally and figuratively. I loved the way she was able to form strong bonds with each one of the Mikaelsons. I’m not a Klayley shipper, not in a romantical way. I believe that both Klaus and Hayley loved each other, yes, but not in a romantical or platonic way. They were family, they had a wonderful daughter together, and Klaus grew fond of Hayley, but there wasn’t any romantical subtle between them and I guess this is what makes their relationship so good: Hayley understood Klaus because they shared a similar past and she was wonderful to understand his turmoils, especially in season four (and during the flashbacks/letters in the last episode). I really liked their interactions, but I truly couldn’t see the two of them together as a couple. Nor because of Klamille or Klaroline, but just because they’re so well balanced like they are that something more would have broken the already strong bond between them. And then, there is Elijah. I won’t write again why I think that they are true love and they are star-crossed lovers, but since their first interaction, I had the feeling that they would be endgame. I suffered a lot when Hayley was “forced” to leave Elijah to marry Jackson (even if Jayley is my guilty pleasure XD), but even during that part, I knew that Elijah would wait for Jackson to die... to get his rightful immortal place beside Hayley. Yet, he respected her grief and mourn, and everything, before asking her to be happy and free. Then season 4 happened and JP screws everything by making Elijah merciless and obsessed, tearing them apart because Haylijah was, quoting Kai Parker: “The baddest bitch of all”. Yet, at the beginning of season 5, after years apart, Hayley’s love for Elijah was there, even after the anonymous Declan (goodbye, Cami’s cousin, you won’t be missed, on the contrary of your cousin ç_ç), tangible in both the two times Hayley mentioned Elijah’s name. And his name was the last word she said. Yet, Elijah refused to remember, and I guess this block was more tentative to protect himself than a heartless choice. He didn’t want to remember, because remembering everything was painful, and deep down, he didn’t want to suffer anymore. Why? Because he felt he wasn’t enough for Hayley, he failed at her, and he couldn’t ever be with her anymore, because of the Hollow. So he just let her go just like he did with his memories. He left Hayley free to live a life with her child, free from the curse of being a Mikaelson, she who “hasn’t the heart of a Mikaelson”. But he failed again because Hayley died and he couldn’t protect her like he had promised, once. And now that all Elijah’s memories were restored, once he wore his suits and his ring again, now that his true self is back, the only remnant of the woman he loved more than everyone else, Hope, she hates him because she considers him responsible of her mother’s death. And I guess that Elijah feels the same way (after all, Kol’s words about having his wife back while Elijah couldn’t, stroke a nerve) and I hope he will try to find a way to get Hayley back. It’s obvious that Hayley won’t be back (because yes, in TO everybody is able to be back, somebody even from ashes, but lol), but I hope that JP will at least have the decency to give them a proper endgame (nor Hayley reunited with Jackson bullshit). I wonder if the candle/hand (the magical artefact that Roman spotted in the compound) will be useful in the future for this reason... For now, it seems that the whole Nazi vampires storyline is almost over (since Antoinette doesn’t seem to be very interested in being her parent’s successor and Roman is MIA... unless they swear revenge) and the Hollow story is again here, but I have the feeling that Hayley will help her beloveds to find their ways out this mess.

The Originals Season 5 Episode 12: Kick me in the face with that Klaroline

Yeet. The last episode is coming out tomorrow and I feel like a fucking butt cheek on a stick.

It´s me your friendly neighbourhood theorist with all the opinions and all the wrong theories.

Summary

Hope is dying of Hollowness and so the fam hops in a car? They said it took like 10 hours to Mystic from Nola so that carries must have been amazing. They drive to the Salvatore school, where Klaus wants to use the chambers in the attic, that never held any fucking body in Tvd to lock Hope up for her wolf transformation, but surprise Klaus is a liar and actually wants Caroline’s twins to siphon the magic out of Hope into him and then sink himself onto the bottom of the ocean. Caroline protests for like two seconds and then is fine. Her kids are being brats and hoes we´ve seen them in Legacy and one is going to be all fun and slutty and the other one shy and stuff. They eventually agree, but then Alaric has to bust in and shoot Klaus. Man Alaric? Really? Can´t we go on episode with that boring ass slug ruining everything? Klaus is restrained for another two seconds and Alaric goes all judgy on Caroline basically implying that she has too many feelings for him and therefore putting their daughters at risk. He says the ocean can´t hold Klaus and a hoe is right, because surprise Klaus lied again and actually wants to kill himself after the Hollow is in him. Conveniently he still kept a white oak stick around, because convenience of the plot. Why though? If all it takes to shut down the Hollow is killing someone while it´s inside someone, why don´t they use a drunken, and homeless child molester? Why does it have to be Klaus? It´s not like he has too many morals to kill someone else.

Anyway Caroline gets pissed for another cute two seconds and then agrees to still help Klaus, because what he is doing after all is to protect his kid and being a good person/ dad. Hoes he became what she always wanted for him. Oh my gawd FEELINGS!

In a different plot Elijah and Hope are out about in my favourite small town infested with supernatural kids and curses. Let’s be honest kids. That line with the Bentley was fucking bomb. They go to get food, where we meet Landon. Hopes love interest of the moment. He looks like a total six and a half with eyes that look like he either never sleeps or tries to be emos next big thing. I give him a 9/10 on Q´s list of characters that are basically Dan Humphrey from Gossip Girl. He loses one point because of the weird hair. Dan’s locks were luscious and his just look like a sad sad poodle. Yeah listen people from Legacy lets not do THAT(Landon) and instead bring back someone that is growing on me just for the reason that he is hotter and seems a little less whiny then Landon, let’s do Roman. He is annoying too, but he is hotter and probably cooler than that dude.

So Landon gets bullied by High School jocks, surprise, and then gets 300 dollars from Elijah. It´s insinuated that Hope likes this boy and he does too and he invites her too something musically in the park, because that´s what the kids of today do. But no I´m sure he has like an old soul or whatever we say about kids, who have no friends and sit around thinking about the Beatles. (I love being an ignorant queen)

Elijah and Hope go to the jocks and it seemed as if Hope was going to do something amazingly, batshit crazy, but then she just blasted the mean dude’s car windows. Hope and Elijah do talking and bonding until the evening comes and of course she goes to meet poodle at the music thing. They dance, because it´s cute and stuff, but the MAIN thing here is the BEST, ULTIMATE conversation between my babies were Klaroline was proven again to still be a romantic thing and that now they are more compatible than ever. Suck it haters. They talk about Klaus as a dad. Then she tells him about the time she drove with the twins to Nola, when she was in trouble in the seventh season of Tvd, but he was trapped in the wall. He looked shocked. Maybe because she trusted him like that. Then she tells him he was never the evil in her life and then the THING happens. They almost kiss, but the clock strikes and she pulls away. She walks away and throws one last longing look at the man she loved.

After that Hope´s transformation is coming up, but Elijah gets wind of Klaus’s true intentions and tries to stop him or take his place. He locks Elijah into a chamber in the basement, which never holds anybody and tells his daughter to transform outside. They talk endlessly about how it´s going to take hours, but the transformation is like a minute long. I feel attacked by that. Julie explain yourself. During the transformation the twins suck the hollow out of Hope and put it into Klaus. Caroline isn´t there and Klaus asks why, but Alaric says Caroline couldn´t watch another man she loves die. Now he didn´t exactly say that, but I imagine it.

Klaus is about to plunge that stick into his chest, when Elijah appears. NO Klaus. The end

Theories and Thoughts

It´s fucking bullshit if Klaus really dies. It is fucking bullshit to not see his daughter growing up. The guilt she must have. She would be kinda responsible for both her parents’ death.

Yeah nobody can deny now that Klaroline is a romantic thing. This episode did it all. They showed that he became the man she always wanted him to be, which is caring and loving. He got saved like she said he was capable off. She trusts him, protects him, helps him, can´t loose him and cares for him. She loves him. Maybe more honestly and openly than she ever did before. She is grown now and he is too and we all know Klaus Mikaelson never lost feelings for that girl. He may have “loved” Cami, but no one can deny that he ever forget his feelings for Caroline. They almost freaking kissed. They are still on and why the heck would the writers put them on the table so hard again, when he is dying so close?

The LAST Episode

It´s go time. Klaus just tried to kill himself but in the trailer we see that he passes out before that or some witch took him out. In my best educated guess they´ll ship him back to Nola were every fucking body is going to go all teary eyed. They´re going to have one last dinner and a “funeral”. It could be just killing himself with his fam around, but also they could do like a TFIOS thing where each characters says something nice about Klaus.

The trailer is quite sad. It shows a lot of family and a scene of him with Hope putting their heads to each other. I have to say I have a little doubt about the Elijah theory, because they did the same thing in the last episode of The Vampire Diaries. Stefan sacrificed himself to save his brother and then in the afterlife reunited with someone that was really special to him. I doubt it a little. There is also a scene where the siblings burn paper without Nick.

It will definitely be quite emotional. I sincerely hope he makes it out alive. What is so true though is that someone really important is going to die. This is also supported by the title “When the saints go marching in” is a song very popular with something called the “Jazz Funeral”. It´s a song first and foremost associated with the city of New Orleans.

Remember the photos from Candice and Joseph in New Orleans? Yeah they still will need to come into play and given that it´s very bright outside when that happens that could be a scene from after Klaus is saved.

Here is the last thing I will say before the finale. This show is about more than three people. It was about a whole family, so what is going to happen to the rest? Keelin and Freya could live a normal married life with children and it would be fine. They´ll die. But then there is Rebekah, who wants to be human so much. Will she just be miserable for the rest of eternity now? Pining for what she can´t have? Maybe eventually deciding it´s too much and do something fatal? Rebekah wasn´t much in this season but her story needs to be tied up. I changed my mind and I don´t think she can just go back to Marcel. It would lead to nothing again and break ups again, because what is hurting Marbekah most is something neither of them can change. Rebekah needs some justice. Then there is also my daisy Davina. She is mortal and with Kol, and eventually she will die and leave Kol behind. The sibling’s weren´t a focus much on this season, but what about them? What about Vincent? I know I trash him a lot, but he just lost another love. Is he going to find peace?

In this way this final needs to be a close copy to the TVD finale. I overall liked the ending for each character. It was truly about peace and closure. This finale need to be about that too. Elijah will find peace in death, because he will find Hayley again. Klaus won´t get any peace from death. Everything he holds close to his heart is alive. Some kids will argue that he´ll reunite with Cami and that will give him peace, but Camille has been almost irrelevant in this season and those are just facts.

Here is what I want if I could have everything I want: Freelin is shown in the future with children, Vincent finds happiness not in love, but in a task, Rebekah is human and married with kids, because Rebekah deserves better or at least she is seen raising something like a child. Marcel is right there with her. Elijah is dead and reunited in heaven with Hayley. Hope goes to school and learns to be better than her family and lastly Nicklaus Mikaelson will survive and love his daughter and to excuse him and Caroline for not being in Legacy they will charter a plane together and visit some places. Paris, Rome or even Tokyo. He can do that now, because his daughter is safe and loved and he learned that she is a strong capable girl that can deal with the world on her own. Caroline also realizes that her daughters are with their father in good hands at the school and finally she can go and see some places.

That is my happily ever after for the Originals, which I would love and welcome dearly.

Before I finish this chapter let’s talk about some dead people. Mikael and Camille are listed as guest stars. This seemingly supports Klaus´s death, but I don´t think so. They could appear in a ghost form like Vicky and Tyler for Matt in the Tvd finale or Klaus temporarily dies and sees them ,but if that happens hoe that make him human that would ruin everything. Side note I once saw a pic of a blonde kissing a bearded man in a wedding dress and it was said it was about TO. I was so confused and the girlies shortly thought it was Klaroline, but I don´t think so. It just came to my mind btw where we could see Camille again. In the pictures from Nola with Candice and Joseph they stood in front of a panting much like he did with Camille in the first episode. Maybe they are talking about his life and will insert Camis ghost for a few seconds looking upon them.

I´m finishing this chapter now. It was a hot mess and unstructured, but I´m too lazy to restructure it. The finale will be there tonight. The last chapter of this out tomorrow.

Tvd in New York chapter 6

Today is my birthday so I am giving all my friends and followers a gift a long chapter. Also I want to thank @caritobear, @austennerdita2533, @yoursklaus, @vermariess, @recklessnesspersonified, and @frucienlover for wishing me happy birthday sending gifs, emoji’s, hearts, and presents. I love them all thank you so much.

Dorota is in the kitchen finishing an English muffin when she hears the elevator doors open and then heels clicking on the stairs she goes out to the foyer and sees Caroline running up the stairs.

“ Miss Caroline is everything ok?”

Caroline turns around on the landing of the stairs her eyes red. “Dorota you are so lucky you don’t have siblings.”

Caroline runs up the stairs and slams her door while Dorota is placing her foot on the first step Damon and Stefan come in Damon has a bruise forming on his cheek. Dorata rushes back to the kitchen get him some ice and gives it to him. “ Mr. Damon what happened?”

Just as Dorota said that they hear “ Yes we would like to know that too?”

Both brothers turn around and see their parents Giuseppe is fuming with anger and Liz doesn’t look happy either.

Mikael is madder than Giuseppe it was his hotel the fight was in. He shoves Klaus out of the elevator and then grabs the back of his jacket and drags him to the living room shoving him into a chair.

When Anna gave him an ice pack, and some medicine to get the swelling of his black eye to go down Mikael yelled at her that if Klaus was stupid enough to get into a fight he will suffer through the pain.

Mikeal is yelling at Klaus while Freya and Lucien are in the kitchen. Lucien has never official met Mikael or Esther or really seen the dynamic of the Mikaelson family he’s met the siblings. “ Shouldn’t we stop him.”

“ We can’t we’ve tried when I was fifteen Elijah was twelve and Klaus was eight our father was in town on a layover and he was walking past Klaus’s room and saw how some clothes weren’t in draws and he started to hit Klaus. Elijah and I tried to stop our father but he pushed Elijah and yelled at both of us that this is none of our business and if we don’t want the same treatment as Klaus walk away now.”

Liz had originally sent Stefan to go get Caroline but he refused he’s hurt Caroline never said anything to him. She sent Dorota who found Caroline reorganizing her already organized closet. “ Miss Caroline your requested downstairs.”

Caroline nods and turns to her tears in her eyes. Dorota puts her arms out and Caroline hugs her. “Dorota it’s awful Damon and Stefan found Klaus and I kissing and they started punching him yelling at him to stay away from me.”

“It’s going to be ok you know how tensions run high when your parents are home, I’ll make you some tea to calm you.”

Caroline nods. “ Klaus told me he loves me.”

Dorota smiles down at her and grabs a tissue and wipes Caroline’s tears. “ I always knew you two were perfect for each other when when you were little you could see in both your eyes, when you weren’t looking Klaus would look at you with such fascination and adoration for you and I saw the same look in your eyes.”

They hear someone clear their throat and turn and Liz is in the doorway you can see she isn’t happy. “ Come downstairs now.”

Mikael finally has finished yelling at Klaus and dismissed him. Klaus got away with no broken bones or bruises he did get hit and yelled at he also has a black eye but the black eye is from Damon.

Mikael is still fuming and sees Lucien coming out of the kitchen with an apple. “Come here.”

Lucien looks around nobody else is in the kitchen he wishes Freya was here. “ Yes.”

“ You have everyone fooled but not me I don’t like you and I don’t trust you, you will never get my blessing to marry my daughter.”

Katherine is laying on her bed texting Elijah when her father comes in “ Katerina your friends talked to me today before everything and they basically said the same thing you’ve been saying you don’t want to go. But nobody is telling me a good enough to reason not move.”

“I would be leaving my friends who are my family, I have school, I find it wrong Nadia is not being included she is a part of this family. Plus my best friend who is like a sister to me Caroline needs me right now and I can’t be there for her because I have to be here packing. You said your doing this because you want to show this potential business client that you care about family too, well my family is hurting and I can’t be with them.”

Katherine’s dad looks around his daughter’s room nothing is packed she doesn’t even have any suitcases or boxes out.“ It will be for six months tops. Also you will be going to Bulgarian school. Plus it’s not like Bulgaria is in the middle of nowhere you can call your friends all you want.”

Katherine’s phone dings and while Katherine is answering Elijah’s text she responses to her dad “ You want a puppet daughter take Elena.”

Caroline enters the living room and as she’s coming closer to the footstool her brothers are on there is still room for her they spread out so she can’t sit with them. She sits in a chair next to the footstool facing their parents.

Dorota brings in Caroline’s tea and sits it on the end table and puts her hand on Caroline’s shoulder and squeezes as she leaves the room.

“Now what happened at the brunch?”

All three Salvatore’s start talking at the same time one over the other. Giuseppe yells over his children. “ STOP one at a time, Damon your the oldest you start.”

Caroline crosses her arms and slumps back in her chair. Damon begins his side of what happened. “ Stefan and I were in the ballroom we didn’t see Caroline and wondered why she wasn’t at the table let alone in the room, we asked the group if they had seen her and Finn said he saw Klaus lead her out into the hallway. Stefan and I went to go find her and found her pressed against the wall with Klaus all over her.”

“Stefan do you agree that this is what you saw too?”

“Yes father.”

Giuseppe faces his youngest and only daughter. “ Caroline what is your side.”

Caroline address her brothers first. “First of all Klaus may have been all over me but I was all over him too so it wasn’t one sided.” She turns back to her parents. “ Klaus and I are together and he wanted to tell me something and after he told me our hormones got in the way and we started kissing, then Damon and Stefan found us.”

Before their father can say anything Damon and Stefan speak at the same time “ Why didn’t you tell us you were dating Klaus.”

“For this exact reason I knew you would be mad and wouldn’t understand which is totally unfair because if either of you would be in my position I wouldn’t be this mad at you I would be happy for you.”

Freya knocks on the door of her brothers studio “Can I come in?”

Klaus’s bedroom is huge he actually has two rooms one room is his bedroom and one is his studio. He nods as he puts his paint brush down. “Tired of Finn already it usually takes longer than a day.”

“Just because all of our siblings think Finn is a bore doesn’t mean I have to as well.”

Klaus shrugs but Freya wants her brother to open up to her. “ How are you doing?”

“Terrible, I can’t see the woman I love without my best friends who happen to her brothers punch me, Mikael whispered in my ear that the only reason I am still in the city is because Esther told him we can’t break up the children he wanted to send me away to boarding school in Switzerland as soon as I could walk. Also found out yesterday Mikael’s not my father his business partner Ansel is. I’m not your brother I’m your half brother.”

Freya hugs her little brother she doesn’t care who his father is he is her brother. “ I’ve known Mikael is not your real dad for years. It didn’t matter to me your my brother and I love you.”

“You knew Mikael wasn’t my father and you kept it from me?”

“I was eight when you were born I was seven when she was pregnant with you. That night Esther put Elijah, Finn and myself to sleep as I was trying to fall asleep I heard the doorbell and then I heard voices Esther and Ansel. I was almost asleep when I heard Elijah a couple rooms down crying I knew Anna already went home for the night, so I waited for footsteps but Esther she didn’t move, So I got out of bed and as I was coming out of Elijah’s room with Elijah in my arms to get him a bottle I saw Esther and Ansel kissing and entering Esther and Mikael’s bedroom. Ansel saw me out of the corner of his eye and winked at me. I got Elijah a bottle and got him back to sleep and I finally fell asleep myself, that morning I was awoken by Ansel who is nudging me awake he told me that what I saw last night will be our little secret.

Over the years I had forgotten about that night but when you broke your arm I had just arrived at the hospital as I was walking to our siblings I overheard a nurse say that the Mikaelson boy doesn’t have the same blood type as his parents and that jogged my memory and I put the pieces together and realized Mikael is not your father Ansel is. I wanted to tell you but it wasn’t my place to tell you. Just because your my half brother doesn’t mean I don’t love you as much as I would love our other siblings. You are my brother and no one can take that away from you.”

Klaus hugs Freya he loves that she never and will never treat him different just because he has a different father than she does. He hopes their other siblings feel the same way when he tells them.

Katherine comes out of the elevator when Damon comes out of the kitchen “Hey smiley you do remember our parents are home so you don’t live here?”

“ Where is your sister?”

“Don’t know I don’t have a sister only a brother.”

Katherine puts her hand on her hip. “ You can’t be serious your disowning your sister because she and Klaus fell in love. Your the Salvatore triplets without Caroline your not triplets anymore your just two brothers and one brother looses his twin.”

“She lied to us, we’re triplets we tell each other everything and she kept that she had fallen in love with our best friend a secret from us.”

“She knew you would overreact like usual.”

Damon knows he’s protective of Caroline more than Stefan but that’s because she’s his little sister plus growing up it was the three of them and Dorota. “ When you find who your looking for tell them that if they told me I would of been mad but I would of eventually accepted it.”

“I would I believe that if you would use her name.”

“Caroline.”

Katherine smiles and halfway up the stairs Damon calls up to her “ By the way your looking good Kitty Kat.”

“ Bite me Damon.”

Damon smirks at her “ I loved too I remember you liking that but you biting me you liked so much better.”

As Katherine is walking up the stairs and sticks up her middle finger and he laughs.

“We’re having a lost weekend. Get out of your comfort clothes and back in your party clothes, we need this.”

Caroline from her window seat looks over at Katherine who is in a black sequined jumpsuit with cut outs on the sides and under her breasts. She also has her hair curled with a hat on, and she has black studded louboutin’s on.

“Kat it’s Tuesday, your not even going to be here for this weekend.”

Katherine pulling Caroline up and dragging her over to her closet, Caroline’s in knee high socks and a oversized over the shoulder sweater. “ Exactly my life is over Thursday morning and your brothers are shunning you, so I propose we go out and have one last party.”

Caroline nods and picks out a pair of black jeans and a red corset tank top with two black stripes down the sides and a black jacket with a pair of louboutin’s. “ New outfit I love it.”

Katherine nods “ I’m mad at my dad so I went on a shopping spree and charged it all to his credit card.”

“I have a present for you. I was going to give it you for New Years eve so it’s not finished yet but since your leaving i’ll give it to you now. ”

Katherine looks intrigued and Caroline smiles and grabs her hand and pulls her towards her bathroom which has two mirrors, sinks and a bigger counter space. Caroline opens a door Katherine has never seen before on the other side of the bathroom. They walk into a room filled with construction workers painting.

“ Your own bedroom. Before we left for Vegas I had Dorota call every construction crew and find the best one. Since you live here I thought it was time you got your own room, especially when Klaus came over it must of been uncomfortable for you not being allowed in our room.”

Katherine throws her arms around Caroline and squeezes her “ I love it, thank you I love you caro.”

“ Your welcome I love you too Kat.”

Katherine has an arm around Caroline and their watching the construction people work, Katherine whispers in Caroline’s ear. “ I don’t know what I love more the room or the construction workers.”

Caroline laughs “ I knew you would love the room and the workers.”

Freya finds her fiancé in the little library they have in the penthouse “ What are you doing in here?”

“Hiding from your father he told me that he will never give me his blessing to marry you and that I am fooling everyone.”

Freya snuggles up next to him on the couch. “ My father tries to protect me more than any of my siblings I’m his favorite and he lets everyone know. I know you, I love you, your not tricking me into marrying you, or lying to me. I knew you would never get my fathers blessing that is why I never brought it up before you proposed.”

Lucien kisses her forehead “ I love you too.”

“ Want to get out of here when I got to the city a few months ago I saw a new club opened and if I learned anything going to high school in the city it’s don’t go to a club alone.”

“ So did you have a brunch incident too?”

Freya laughs while she pulls him up “ Well someone did kiss me but nobody caught us.”

“ Who kissed you?”

Freya smiles back at him “ That’s my secret maybe if your a good boy I’ll tell you.”

Caroline and Katherine went to Augustine and met up with Rebekah and Davina.

“My brothers are shunning me, I enter a room and they leave they refuse to talk to me.”

“ My father refuses to see reason I’ve even used school as a reason to stay.”

“ My father doesn’t like that I’m living with the Mikaelsons.”

“Finn is annoying as usual and Mikael is mad a Nik.”

Katherine holds up her martini “ To us the four baddest bitches New York has ever produced may our reign be long.”

Caroline Rebekah and Davina laugh and hold up their drinks: mojito, daiquiri, Cosmo “ Sister till the end.”

Xxx

“Name.”

“Mikaelson.”

Freya and Lucien walked down the street to Augustine. Freya knew her last name would be on the list because Rebekah told her they get front of the line access.

“Hey back of the line we were here first you have to wait just like everyone else.”

Freya looks at Lucien who is looking at the man who is yelling at them. “ You wanted to see what I was like in high school.”

Lucien smiles. “ I’m a Mikaelson if I wanted I could buy out this whole street and refuse entry to you and your pathetic friends oh wait you don’t have any friends, because you lead a sad pathetic lonely life and coming to this club and waiting in this line is your only form of entertainment. I don’t need to stand in line or even go to this club as a form of entertainment I have a life I even have a fiancé who is way sexier than you. ”

The guy walks away sheepishly and Lucien kisses Freya. “ That was so hot.”

“ Kat do you know the last name of the business client?”

“ Parker.”

Davina taking a sip of her Cosmo.“ As in Kai Parker the guy who transferred to our school halfway though last year and who befriended Kol but when Kol asked him if he wants to come to the Hamptons with us he said no.”

Katherine looks over her realization coming over her face. “ Oh my god yes if his dad is so family oriented why send a member of your family here. I think it’s time to make a little visit to Kai.”

Davina looks over at Caroline and Rebekah dancing they see guys watching them but they don’t care they’re just dancing with each other.

“ Well if it is not the Fab Four how did you get in my house let alone my room.”

“Get dressed we have to talk.”

Kai had just got out of the shower when he found them so after he gets dressed he finds them wandering the house. “ So how can I help you tonight. Are you fleeing the country and need new id’s I wouldn’t blame you after this morning’s brunch it’s all gossip girl can talk about.”

Katherine turns to face him “ Why do you live here alone don’t you have any siblings?”

“ I do they are all with my parents getting ready to talk with your father. I was sent to live here because I got into some trouble when we were visiting India and my father didn’t want my behavior to contradict the image my father worked so hard to maintain that we are a healthy and family oriented so he sent me away.”

“But if he’s family oriented why send his son away even if he got in trouble we’ve all done things that would reflect poorly on our family names.”

Kai picking up his keys “ Ask him yourself I’ll drive.”

“ Hey can I come in?”

Damon nods, Stefan sits in the chair in the corner “ Who are you more mad at Klaus or Caroline?”

“Myself I’ve been more worried about if Elena would like it if I asked her out I didn’t realize my sister and my best friend had fallen in love. Thinking back on it they have been more touchy feely with each other and those longing looks.”

Stefan nods “ I’ve been wrapped up with Rebekah. We are terrible brothers we didn’t notice our sister was in love.”

“ We need to sit down the three of us and talk.”

They go to Caroline’s room and she’s not there “ Maybe Dorota knows where she is?”

They find Dorota coming out of Katherine’s bedroom she was checking on the progress of the room. “ Dorota where is Caroline?”

“ Miss Caroline told me not to tell Mr. Damon or Mr. Stefan where she was going.”

Damon smiles he’s got an idea. “ Can you tell us where Katherine is then.”

“She left with miss Caroline.”

Stefan looks over at his brother “ Gossip girl.”

Damon looks behind Dorota at the closed door “ What’s going on in there?”

“It’s a present from Miss. Caroline.”

Stefan looks at the door then at Damon “ A present for who?”

“ It would ruin the surprise.”

Caroline wakes up and looks around the unfamiliar room she’s in the the only thing familiar is Katherine, Rebekah and Davina sleeping around her. She reaches out and shakes Davina.

“ Davina wake up we are not in city anymore.”

Davina sits up and rubs her eyes and they are in front of a floor to ceiling window. “ Is that-”

“ Yeah Tokyo. Do you remember anything from last night after Augustine it’s kind of a blur.”

“ We need to get home our parents will kill us and then bring us back disinherit us then kill us again.”

“ I know, I’ll find Kai I remember visiting him last night while you wake them.”

Caroline finds a housekeeper in the kitchen. “ Excuse me where is Kai Parker?”

“ Upstairs after Mr. Kai and his friends woke up his twin sister Miss. Jo and one of the friends talked with her they all fell asleep and have been asleep all morning and most of the afternoon.”

“ Can I have a glass of ice cold water.”

Caroline finds Kai’s bedroom and he’s asleep she stands over him and pours her water on him. He wakes up started and wet “ I don’t care how long you’ve worked for my family your fired. Get out you can collect your belongings on the front yard.”

“ I don’t work for your family you dumbass you brought us to Tokyo don’t you knows the rules ask us all travel idea’s when we are sober. Now get out of bed and fly us back to New York before our parents send us away like your parents did to you.”

“ Your a very rude human being, I brought you guys to Tokyo so you could talk with my father but he was asleep so I woke my sister who works with him but found out she couldn’t help then after a few more drinks you all fall asleep and then you wake me up by pouring water on my head and calling me a dumbass.”

Caroline glares at him “ If we are not in the air in the next ten minutes I’m going to call you names way worse.”

Dorota is coming down the stairs to make sure there’s no dust and to make herself breakfast before everyone wakes up when the elevator doors open and Caroline walks out. “ Dorota cappuccino please.”

While Dorota is making the cappuccino Caroline is sitting at island with her head on the counter. “ Miss Caroline where were you?”

“ Tokyo, Trying to talk with Mr. Parker the client that Mr. Petrova is trying to impress. It didn’t work and we ended up talking to his daughter and his son lives in the city. I am hungover and jet lagged.”

Dorota sets the cappuccino mug in front of her when Caroline lifts her head she sees that in the icing there is a Christmas tree, she smiles up at her. “ Merry Christmas Dorota.”

“Merry Christmas miss Caroline.”

“I have a present for you, you do so much for this family but that doesn’t mean you shouldn’t take time out for yourself so stop saying no to Vonya.”

“Miss Caroline its to early for a date. I can’t.”

“Not if your going on a date later today, when I was running through the lobby a couple minutes ago I stopped by the front desk and asked the night doorman if Vonya was taking the day off to spend with family or was he coming in he said Vonya doesn’t have any family here in the states, and that he will be coming in late.”

Dorota shakes her head “ I can’t.”

Caroline looks at Dorota who is cleaning the kitchen. “ Dorota stop cleaning for a minute and tell me why you can’t I want to know.”

Dorota avoids eye contact with Caroline, who reaches across the island and grabs the sponge out of Dorota’s hand “ Dorota tell me why you keep turning down Vonya who clearly wants you.”

“I’m already married.”

Caroline’s eye widen in shock “ What?!”

Dorota tries to distance herself from the conversation by continuing to clean but Caroline isn’t letting her stop it there. “ You remember me telling you before I met your family I was a countess in Poland.”

Caroline nods. “ My parents arranged a marriage for me but I didn’t want to get married but I had no say in the matter so I had to. I wanted to leave Poland go to London but he wanted to stay in Poland so one day while he was out I left for London and found your mother nine months pregnant she was looking for a housekeeper because they were planning on moving here in a couple days.”

“I’ll call the lawyers and get you a divorce.”

Dorota smiles and they hear footsteps on the stairs. “ You never saw me.”

Caroline takes her heels off and sneaks up the stairs while her parents get situated in the living room.

Katherine and Rebekah quietly sneak into the Mikaelson penthouse. While Rebekah goes to her room Katherine goes to Elijah’s she takes her heels, jumpsuit off and climbs into bed with him. Elijah turns over when he feels his bed move. “Katerina?”

Katherine smiles down at him whole getting comfortable she pecks him on cheek. “ Go back sleep.”

Freya wakes up first and wants everything perfect for Lucien’s first Christmas with her family. She goes to wake Elijah up to help her get everything ready but when she opened Elijah’s door she found he wasn’t alone. Elijah’s asleep with Katherine snuggled up next to him.

“Elijah is there something you would like to tell me?”

Katherine upon hearing a voice rolls over and cracks her eyes open when she sees Freya she wakes Elijah. “ Lijah wake up our covers been blown.”

“What everyone knows to knock upon entering my room.”

Katherine points to Freya who raises an eyebrow. “ This is not what it looks like. We’re dating and she’s leaving soon this was our last night together for a while. We’re in love.”

“So you and Katherine, Caroline and Klaus anymore secret relationships I should know about.”

“Stefan and Rebekah border on flirtation and something more.”

As Freya leaves Elijah calls out to her. “ Sister nobody must know.”

“ I understand I kept mother and father from finding out about Lucien for almost three years.”

“Caroline come in here.”

Caroline was walking past her dads office to get to the elevator. She sits in the chair opposite the desk her father is sitting at. “ Since your mother and I got home you’ve been acting different, why?”

“ I didn’t realize I was acting different. But can I ask you a favor?”

Giuseppe nods “ So I know you have a healthy competition with Mr. Petrova he moved to America you moved to America he married a model you married a fashion designer, he has one child you have three. Anyway Mr. Petrova wants to talk with a potential client Mr. Parker you should call him and tell him you want to meet him here in the city. It would make a lot of people happy.”

“ I see I’ll look into it.”

Caroline goes to leave but her father has one more thing to say “ Caroline do you dress like this to purposely make your mother mad what makes her more mad is your not parading around town in clothes made by her.”

Caroline looks down at her outfit white jeans pink corset black lace all over it with a pink bow in the center and sides with three pink lines down the middle, matching white jacket, black necklace with black platform heels and a black purse.

“ I’m in mourning my best friend is moving but knowing her she would want me to do it in style. Plus I was on my way out.”

“ Am I interrupting?”

Katherine from her bed looks behind her “ Not at all Elijah was just saying goodbye.”

Katherine was straddling Elijah in her bedroom, after breakfast they left the Mikaelson penthouse and moved to the Petrova home.

Caroline waves to Elijah as he straightens his shirt he gets next to her “ None one must know.”

“ Oh please Elijah this city runs on secrets. If everyone knew everyone’s secrets the city would implode.”

“You really have given up.”

Katherine looks back her “ No heels, uggs, blue non skinny jeans and your showing no cleavage plus you haven’t complimented me on my outfit.”

“ I have I’m moving and I can’t talk my dad out of it, I’m going to have to go to a new school and speak Bulgarian. I’m in mourning I thought it deserved the right sad outfit so I picked something from Elena’s closet.”

Caroline sits on the bed next to Katherine “ You are the strongest person I know, you are going to rule the Bulgarian school just like you rule this city plus your are going to look amazing doing it. Always remember sisters till the end I love you.”

Katherine leans her head on Caroline’s shoulder “ Sisters till the end I love you too.”

The Worst (and Best) Part of The Originals 4x11 and 4x12

I was late on 4x11 so I put them together.

Note: If you like Hayley, Elijah, Freya, Davina, Kolvina, Freya/Keelin. or Haylijah and don’t care to hear counter opinions and that makes you aggressive and mean then this isn’t something you’re interested in, I’m going to have to ask you to move along :D I’m entitled to my opinions as you are yours. Any aggression targeted at me because I don’t ship what you ship or like who you like will be treated with demeaning responses.

You have been warned.

Side Note: I have nothing against any of the actors (or the writers), these are solely my opinions, which I’m entitled to have.

If you have anything to include, feel free to add your own thoughts.

I’m putting this under a Read More so people who don’t want to see this doesn’t have to.

1. I still feel bringing Davina back is a weak ass retcon and I really don’t care about her living again. Booooring. Oooh Davina’s going to suffer if the Hollow dies? Still don’t care about Davina being back. Honestly, she’s just becoming more and more of a crappy remake of Bonnie. I mean, Bonnie had justified anger. Davina’s angry at the world and is quickly killing any sympathy that I’ve had for her.

2. Oh, look, Haylijah bullshit. Here comes me not caring again. Last scene we saw of them was her being afraid of him. Which is bullshit in itself but whatever.

3. Oh, Elijah’s been gone for a few days and the pendant can’t hold Elijah. It held Finn for how long before he came back? But Elijah’s been in for a day, if that, and it can’t hold him. Lemme call bullshit. That’s some straight up bullshit. Honestly, I think we need a bit of a break from Elijah and his bullshit. If anything, we should have been seeing him dealing with being in the pendant but no. It was breaking (which was stupid but whatever).

4. Calling Kol to help with the totem when he has said totem. That’s not cliche or anything at all. The characters don’t know that, but I’m sorry, the writers should know better.

5. Rebekah continues to be the best and I love her. Queen Rebekah deserves the best and she’s coming correct with the lines this season.

6. This show rides Hayley’s nonexistent dick so hard sometimes. It’s exhausting me.

7. “Compel her a nanny”. Fuck. You. Freya.

8. “I can’t take a little girl’s mother”. But you can take her father. Please, shut the fuck up, Davina. Your double standards are bullshit. You had shitty parents and you should be more inclined to appreciate someone trying to be better for their kid, something your parents didn’t do. But, no, you tried to justifying killing Klaus even though he had seldom to do with your death. But you’re cool with Hayley the, what, two minutes you spent with her. Why does everyone seem to like Hayley even though she has a shitty personality? Seriously. Oh, right. She a huge Mary Sue, that’s why. Everyone loves her, even though she does some terrible shit and tries to justify it. She killed 12 of her friends for a fucking flash drive, but she’s somehow a lot more reliable than Klaus and basically anyone else. Okay. Sure.

9. YOU’RE GOING TO USE YOUR NIECE TO FUCKING UNLINK YOUR GIRLFRIEND FROM THE HOLLOW ARE YOU FUCKING KIDDING ME?! This Kolvina bullshit is making me so unbelievably sick. Davina being the center of his universe after knowing and dating her for a few months (if that) and five years later he’s obsessing over her. What the hell is so special about her? And using her as Kol’s redemption is total bullshit. After him bitching about how his family excludes him, how am I suppose to feel sympathy when he pulls shit like that?

10. Hayley and Freya, two people I don’t give a shit about. Yay, that means I can ignore this. Cause fuck these two. Fuck these two people in particular. Both of them make me sick.

11. Oh, look how quick they were put out of commission. That’s so cute. And you thought you were just going to get the drop on the Hollow.

12. “I’m not suppose to do magic with strangers” DAMNNNNNNN!! Hope done told you Kol. (Note: I love Kol Mikaelson. I just don’t like Kolvina or Davina). Get some ice for that burrrrrrrrn.

13. Kol betrayed Klaus and Klaus is now pissed off. God damn. I want to know what he was expecting.

14. “Is he [Elijah] good to you?” Guess what? I DON’T CARE! All the shits I give, Hayley isn’t one of them. Honestly, I appreciated her having a personality but it’s also being very high and mighty and going against what she’s done in the past. I’m sorry, but there is nothing... nothing... That could have happened in those five years that could justify her getting on an even higher horse than she was already on.

15. Corrupting a memory of Jackson. I wasn’t expecting that, god damn. Good job, Hollow. I approve, despite the fact that you’re not really even vaguely threatening when you speak.

16. Guess who’s back, back, back, back again, gain, gain. Jack is back, back, back. And he’s kicking Hayley’s ass.

17. Freya and Keelin is still lackluster for me. Mostly, because Keelin deserves better. And it feels kind of forced. I don’t know. Maybe the whole Stockholm Syndrome isn’t a winning trope for me. Now I know she’s not being held hostage anymore but that doesn’t change what a raging bitch Freya was. Why does the show think that to be a strong, female character that means you have to be the hugest bitch in the universe.

18. Kol and his reasons. Honestly, you’re betraying your family when giving them a bit of a heads up would have helped immensely. Klaus probably wouldn’t be as pissed. But again, season 2 he was bitching about how he was trusted or treated like a part of the family but then he turns around and does this for someone he’s only known for a little over five years.

19. I stop paying attention with Davina on screen. It’s so I don’t start screaming and so this list won’t devolve into only cuss words.

20. Klaus is right and he doesn’t owe Davina shit. Especially after she tried to justify killing him. Fuck her. “But she was killed over him” Yeah, well, Klaus didn’t kill her. He’s not the one who killed her and, like I said before, Elijah would have been good enough to be killed instead but that was a personal vendetta against Klaus. But Davina gets a happy ending even though she doesn’t really deserve it. “But she died” Okay? And? How many times did Bonnie die and she still got fucked over? The female characters on this show just get away with too much shit and it makes me sick.

21. Kol got to me. And I feel for him, but I honestly can’t feel for Davina. I love Kol and his heart breaking makes me hurt, but I really just don’t like Davina and how she’s forgiven for the things she does.

22. Why was Hayley afraid of Elijah again? Fucking psycho murder bitch right there. Hayley goes over kill and she tore people limb from limb but she’s afraid of Elijah. Hey, I want Haylijah dead as much as the next anti Haylijah person, but when shit don’t make sense, I gotta call that out. Gafuck yourself, Hayley Marshall.

23. Rebekah/Marcel feels. <3 I still love them so.

24. Kolvina still is something that makes me feel numb in this show. Neither of them really suffered enough to warrant a happy ending. The ancestors wanted to destroy Davina’s soul and yet somehow she survived that. Whatever. Just... what the fuck ever.

25. Did anyone else notice that Davina didn’t even try to go and see Marcel before just running off with Kol? Where’s that love you claimed that you had for him? This just proves to me how ungrateful Davina is. Am I really going to have to make an anti list for her? It’s bad enough I gotta do it for Hayley, but now her? This just proves that Cami is the best non-Mikaelson woman and this godforsaken show. When she turned into a vampire sure she was a royal bitch, but at least she wasn’t fucking ungrateful.

26. Another Hayley scene that I don’t give a damn about. -insert me whistling-

27. Possessed Hope. Never would have guessed it! (sarcasm).

28. Vincent is finally back which makes this episode better than the last two. Proof that Vincent makes everything better is that I actually am getting hyped for this episode. Woooooo!

29. Elijah throwing a fit over Hayley. I only have one thing to say to Elijah: Katherine.

30. Hayley not talking to Elijah because? Oh, she’s scared of him. Bitch, get over yourself.

31. Rebekah<3 My love for her is endless and god I hope some goodness comes to her, please.

32. Keelin is too good for Freya. Not even a sex scene can mend that. Freya is just a fucking horrible person and I can’t take it and she doesn’t deserve a relationship or need one for that matter. The thought of her being romantic with anyone is enough to make me want to spit acid.

33. Hayley always wants to demand attention even if there are pressing matters. This has not changed at all in the last five years.

34. Hayley running away from Elijah. Down with Haylijah! Down with Haylijah!

35. Hayley saw monster!Elijah and I’m just like bitch... You’ve done some horrible shit. Get off your high horse.

36. Freya’s death speech. She’s tethered to Klaus. They never broke her immortality bullshit so...? What the hell is she talking about? Her immortality never stopped. She’s still immortal. That’s why Dahlia tethered herself to Klaus, so she wouldn’t have to sleep to remain immortal. Freya is still immortal. Did the writers forget about that or something?

37. “I want you to take Hayley and Hope away from this”. You’re in no position to be telling anyone anything. Especially not Hope. You are not Hope’s father and it pisses me off when he acts like it. Get the fuck out of here.

38. If Vincent stays dead, I riot.

39. Freya/Keelin is still just so half assed to me. At least that’s how I feel...

40. Hayley gets impaled but lemme guess the Hollow “somehow” missed her heart and she’s still alive.... Told ya.

Gigi / other admins what are your predictions for TO season five, like honest predicitions not unrealistic ones? also why do you carry on the blog when you say you no longer like the show?

My (Gigi) honest opinions are here:

First and foremost I predict this is the last. I don’t think they’ll have another season, and I think the writers will be aware they’re writing their last.

Unnecessary teen drama fuelled by daddy issues with Hope because her father never picked up the phone despite breaking the rules and visiting Elijah (lord don’t get me started) and first love boyfriend drama with Roman. First two/three episodes will jump around with different locations including the school but i think by episode four they’ll all be home in new orleans (I’m predicting now Roman will die, probably similarly to Jackson in that he died because he was too close to a member of the family.)

I suspect they’ll have Hayley either go with “I never stopped loving you Elijah” or ‘learn’ to love the new Elijah, or just be plain over the battery, I’m a bit 50/50 on how quickly they’ll get his memories back. I have a feeling Elijah will have a new love interest who will fail to hold his attention once Hayley is back in his life or he gets his memories back, I suspect Hayley may also have a new LI who will have 30 seconds screentime total and will also be ditched in favour of H/E. We’ll probably learn little about what Hayley’s been doing in the past decade or so, she prolly wont have a job or have picked up a new hobby and they’ll once again make out like every waking moment was spent trying to get the mikaelsons together again and she just didn’t have timeeee for herself (or they’ll make out like she aint even bothered because that wouldn’t surprise me either with the way nobody including hayley fought to keep them all together at the end of last season)

I suspect we’ll have minimal Rebekah as per season 2/3 due to the fact Claire’s new series got picked up to order, I think we might have Kol/Davina drop in together every now and then, depending on when Danielle wants to film. (Though even if she was completely free I dont think they’d ever bring them both to mains)

I’m monumentally disappointed with the lack of flashbacks this season, I really am, but with the cut down time I suspect there’ll be the same amount in s5, then again if Klaus really does return back to how he used to be due to losing Hope (literally and figuratively), maybe we’ll get some more so they can draw comparison. Josh will probably be the same as he was this season as well, they’ll make a reminder that he has a boyfriend or something and then never show the guy again, then he’ll be used randomly as/when to fit plans. We’ll prolly have a couple of shots of Cami’s grave again so I suspect that’ll remain the same.

I predict that Rebel will have broken up by the first episode and Marcel will be back in New Orleans. (small chance they’ll break up in the first episode after realising that it just isn’t working out and they’ll make a show of Rebekah staying wherever they are at that moment and Marcel going home. I suspect Rebekah/Marcel will have been in a very tumultuous on/off again for the past 7/8 years) Rebekah will drop in when the drama starts and they need her for something, her and Marcel will gaze longingly and may have gotten it on again by the end of the season.

I suspect that Freya/Keelin will be ridiculously happy and soppy though Freya will feel guilty over how long her family have been separated. Keelin will comfort her and that will lead to more soppy stuff. The writers have made it v clear they’re all in for this relationship to be happy and not end so there’s really not that much to ‘predict’ with this one.

Hope will probably have Bonnie/Davina level powers that she’s still not got amazing amounts of control over due to the sheer level of power she has. Will probably lose control a lot.

Vincent... idk about Vincent, he’ll prolly have his own sideplot that’ll link into the main somehow. Same goes for Marcel, I dont really know where they’d go with him.

I think The Hollow plot will be solved by episode 2 and then the s5 villain will problem will take root in episode 3, like in this season just passed, where season 3′s problem was solved at the end of episode 2 and then the hollow came in and messed it up for them when they finally thought they were gonna be okay.

Klaus... I’m with everyone else they’ll probably have Klaus with an old edge to him because he’s feeling bitter that once again he’s had to give up his child in order for his family to be okay, and for all he has had growth in the past couple of years, this is klaus we’re talking about, it *will* get to him deep down that his family get to go off and basically be perfectly happy with their partners and elijah gets to unburden himself of them all but he gets jack shit and cant be with Hope once again. But then again we were told to expect Klaus with PTSD from the dungeon and he had a total of one scene where we saw the effects of that so whoooo knows if they’ll make it effect him.

Depending on what capacity they get Candice I suspect they’ll have Caroline be the light in his life again or whatever when he can finally go near Hope again and he don’t know how to act they’ll have Caroline act like she knows her better than anyone else since she’s been her teacher (yeah the vampire teaching the witch, okay, whatever, moving on) and will help Klaus with Hope.

Ric will probably make a cameo in either the first episode or an episode later down the season.

There’ll probably be a K/D, H/E, R/M & K/C endgame. But i wouldn’t be surprised if they had it so R/M weren’t actually endgame and have them accept that they’re always gonna love each other but it’s never gonna work out.

I’ve heard talks of a Hope spinoff, and maybe there is an actual plan in JP’s head for this or maybe there isn’t, But I guarantee you that if they do a backdoor pilot (prolly where Alaric will actually enter) then it’ll flop. Theres no longer a market for that kinda show. Not a TVD meets Harry Potter meets Buffy which is how I expect they’ll try play it off. I think Hope was aged up because they had no idea what to do with a seven year old tbh, and this is the CW, so there *must* be some sort of romance with a central character. Hence Roman. I suspect Hope will be bratty and have an attitude and wont be the shy completely selfless kid we met in s4, and they’ll probably either try saying it’s her genetics or because Klaus wasn’t around enough.

(my unrealistic hopes though are hayley having an actual job and maybe going back to the pack since it was confirmed she was still living in new orleans and being an alpha and liaising with Vincent to be the head of the wolf faction again, having more flashbacks, minimal daddy issue drama with hope, more haycel/hopecel, little interference from TVD including MF, and not stringing out the elijah drama, if you’re gonna give him back his memories just doooo it don’t make it last all season, also freya getting a job might be cool, and learning vincents actual job when he’s not casting spells... you know... just saying)

I still run this blog because I’ve invested a fuckton of time into it, this blog is like my baby tbh, and I still love Hayley as a character even though I’m not okay with the show rn or tbh a lot of the way Hayley is written, she’s still a character that I very much so cannot let go of just yet. Also I found out that Carina will be a producer this year which I let fill me with a tiny bit of Hope because whilst she may not have ultimate power on the actual plot like Julie does, she’s very much so always been very pro Hayley and has always written incredible scenes for her, and has also written some very decent K/H/ scenes (whether or not she or anyone else ships them romantically, some of the best K/H scenes where they talk about Hope have been written by her)

Royal I’m assuming doesn’t care enough to give a prediction for s5 because she’s over the show, I know from speaking to her though that she’s still part of the blog because she enjoys the company (ayyyy) and has also been here from the very start and has invested a lot into it. Royal’s done a lot for the blog BTS.

My predictions for the show are pretty bleak (for me). I don't like this time jump. At all. Literally, there is not a single thing I like about it. I think they built the show on Klaus' redemption being through being a father to Hope, and yet he's spent literally less than two years actually raising her. So, what's the point of him being a father if he's not actually being a father? You providing biological material and/or money and possessions does not make you a father. He got what - two months with her where she could actually form memories and half the time he was fighting a big bad. Yes, his sacrifice was noble...I guess.

So, we're gonna get Hope with daddy issues. Which is very valid for her to have because she can't actually spend quality time with her father. And she apparently doesn't get to be raised by her mother. But that's all good because saint Caroline has a school she can attend and that's super more important than her being raised by her mother. Obviously, there's no witches in NOLA who could teach her. No witch children she could make friends with (or werewolf children for that matter). Nope. None. Not a single one. Certainly none with the last name Mikaelson. Noooooope. Can't think of a single witch who could teach her.

Also, add in the fact that the sides that were released (which I doubt will make it onto the show) have Hope completely isolated and has no friends because everyone is scared of her. Basically, I think they aged up Hope because now they can push the magic school spin-off with Hope as the lead once the Originals ends. They're baiting other fans in with talk of Caroline and KC and whether they actually go through and produce either - who knows.

I think eventually they'll get back to NOLA. Hope will leave the school (since apparently she has no friends there in the first place). Her boyfriend will follow and be creepy like all the male vampires on this show. But she'll ignore it because he's dreamy and dangerous and blah blah blah. The show will continue reusing plot lines and nothing will actually ever happen or be accomplished. Somehow the Mikaelsons will put the Hollow down for good and we'll see Klaus again not knowing how to be a father/trying to make up for lost time because that's all the writers apparently know how to write. Maybe we'll get big bad Klaus again, and when he's finally reunited with Hope, he'll start his redemption arc again. Wash, rinse, repeat.
