Miku and KAITO are the only virtual singers in the Empty SEKAI to wear harnesses. Miku's is done up neatly, but KAITO's is loose and uneven. This could be symbolic of Mafuyu and her growth from the start of the story to now - she's learning to break free from the things that shackle her.

Honestly the Empty Sekai Miku design has always been my favorite, and I wanted to do some Mikuo redesigns. Hatsune Miku is near and dear to me, and as a transmasc I love transing my favs.

One of Mizuki's 2022 Summer voicelines reveals that they brought a wind chime to the Empty SEKAI for Miku, but there is no wind in the SEKAI for her to actually be able to hear it. Mizuki had to bring a fan to the SEKAI as well so that the wind chime would work.

I've seen a few other designs imagining what certain non PJSK Vocaloids would look like in Project Sekai, so I designed a concept for Empty Sekai Gakupo!

I think despite his angry looking face, he would be very supportive of the group, and be quick to learn about everyone's interests. He would represent a gaining of trust and an overlapping of ambitions.
