Giant Golden Crowned Flying Fox

This is a real bat. When I first saw a picture of it I didn't believe what I was seeing could be real, it looks like something out of a movie on syfy about bats that get exposed to nuclear waste or something. But it is, its called a Giant golden crowned flying fox also known as the golden capped fruit bat and is part of a subspecies of bat commonly referred to as a megabat due to its size and wingspan. They are currently considered an endangered species due to loss of habitat and trophy hunting resulting in dwindling numbers

Giant golden crowned flying foxes are a species of flying fox native to Thailand and have a wingspan of around 5 to 5.6 feet although the actual body of the creature is generally around 1 foot so their impressive size is mostly wings and limbs. And while they look scary they subsist wholly on fruit, mostly figs and rarely attack other creatures or humans unless threatened. Unlike most species of bat, the Golden crowned flying fox cannot echolocate and instead must rely on eyesight to see.

A mother Grizzly Bear curiously checks me out...up close in Katmai National Park, Alaska! Being up close with Grizzlies was one of the best experiences of my life! I had always thought the bears would eat you until Brad Joseph's @bradjosephsphotos showed me the Grizzlies of Katmai! Part three This will continue rapidly if nothing is done. I know Trump wants every poacher and hunter to kill as many as they want. He wants to let the extinction of African elephants as well as Asian elephants to happen. He does not care for conservation or wants to help elephants when in fact he’s making it much worse. Especially with the news of finding out the people he hired to help animals are nothing more than a club filled with poachers and hunters. And one of them is the one who killed Cecil, the lion. I would not be surprised if the one who killed Satao was with them as well. End the hunt, by ending the hunters will to hunt. End the poaching, by ending the poachers that started the poach. End trophy hunting. End hunting.
