S.N.A.F.U- A Daniel Ricciardo FanFic CH29 “Birthday Surprise P2”

Daniel turned around and his jaw fell open as soon as his eyes fell on her. He strode over to her and immediately picked her up and swung her in a circle.

“Oh my god what are you doing here?” he asked as happily as the entire garage staff cheered their reunion.

“Pip organised me to come over as a birthday surprise,” Eadaoin replied as she returned his hug “ugh its so good to see you!”

Daniel pulled back slightly then not caring that the entirety of the McLaren garage staff were watching leaned down and captured Eadaoin’s lips with his. She sank into his embrace and it wasn’t until they started attracting cat calls and wolf whistles that they pulled apart.

“OH GET A ROOOM!” Tom Stallard Daniel’s engineer called “we want some cake!”

“”You mean you want some cake,” Daniel shot back his face a fiery shade of scarlet “pig.”

“Go on, go cut everyone some cake,” Eadaoin said giving him an affectionate shove “we’ll catch up later okay?”

Daniel flashed her a wink and went to cut his team some cake and Eadaoin caught up with the garage staff she knew. Blake and Michael immediately made their way over to greet her.

“Thanks for your part in surprising Danny,” she said happily embracing the men “It wouldn’t have been as easy without your help.”

“That’s alright luv, it’s good to see Danny perk up a bit, he’s been a bit flat of late,” Blake said “you might just have perked him up enough to get him through to the summer break.”

“I hope so,” Eadaoin replied her heart swelling in affection for the curly haired driver as he gave Tom a slice of cake “I worry about him when he’s away racing, I know the season hasn’t gone as well as he would have liked or expected and that has to be demoralizing even for someone as strong as Danny is.”

“It is but we’re all supporting him and he regularly sees McLaren’s sports psychologist and that’s helping him,” Michael informed her “I just think he needs that extra support that can come only from you. You’re the only one in his team that isn’t a colleague or someone connected with McLaren in some way and I think he needs that disconnect.”

“Well I’m happy to help in any way I can,” Eadaoin replied smiling as Danny approached them a plate of cake in each hand “hey you.”

“We’ll leave you two be,” Blake said diplomatically “Eadie want to join us for dinner tonight? We’re heading into Vienna to get this one drunk.”

“Sure I’ll be there,” Eadaoin replied chuckling as Daniel rolled his eyes “see you back at the hotel.”

“So how long can you stay?” Daniel asked once Blake and Michael had made their departure.

“Only til Monday I have to take the red eye back to London and go to the office straight from Heathrow,” Eadaoin asked sitting on a McLaren branded storage box “so until you come home the only time I can spend with you here is at the end of each day on race weekend.”

“The fact you’re here is brilliant,” Daniel said happily as he leaned down and pressed a kiss to the top of her head “considering I didn’t expect to spend any time with you this weekend....”

Eadaoin finished her cake then set aside her plate and reached into her pocket to retrieve Danny’s present.

“Later tonight I’ll give you a private present but for now this is something a bit more appropriate to flash around in public,” she said “happy birthday babe.”

Daniel put his plate down and took the small square box she gave him with a smile. He broke the tape and ripped off the paper to reveal a leather jewellery box.

“You got me a diamond encrusted cock ring?” he asked in a low voice.

Eadaoin immediately blushed a fiery red.

“Shut UP!” she hissed “no I did not get you a diamond encrusted cock ring! Open it you knob.”

With a snort of laughter Daniel opened the box to reveal a double wrap braided leather men’s bracelet with a simple gold clasp.

Eadaoin took the bracelet out of the box and fixed it around Daniel’s left wrist; he flexed his wrist then leaned down and pressed his lips to hers. This display of affection immediately drew attention from the garage staff and one of the pit crew let out and ear piercing wolf whistle.

“Jesus Christ Ricciardo let her breathe!” Will Joseph Lando’s engineer yelled over the hubbub of the pit lane as the kiss continued.

“And get a ROOM!” Blake added.

“We’re going to get in trouble one day,” Eadaoin murmured when they eventually parted both slightly out of breath.

“Eh it’d be worth it,” Daniel said his cheeks a distinct shade of rouge.

“How much longer do you have to stick around on track?” Eadaoin asked.

“Probably a couple of hours,” Daniel replied “Lando and I have to go over strategy with Will and Tom for P1 and P2 tomorrow then film some social media stuff with Charlotte after that I think I’m good to go back to the hotel. D’you want to stick around that long?”

“Sure, I’ve only been on track for less than an hour, I’ll find something to amuse myself with,” Eadaoin replied with a smile

After a long celebratory birthday dinner in Vienna Daniel and Eadaoin returned to their hotel room.

“This is possibly the best birthday I’ve ever had!” he declared dropping down on the end of the end and kicking off his shoes “even the year I turned seven and Mum and Dad got me a fancy pants scalextric racing set.”

Eadaoin stepped between his legs and ran her fingers through his curls.

“Well I hope I’m much more exciting than a Scalextric set,” she said lightly brushing her lips against his.

“Oh much more,” Daniel replied huskily resting his hands on her hips and returning her kiss “but I’d rather play with you.”

“Well you’re in luck then,” Eadaoin said as she began unbuttoning the dress shirt he had worn to dinner that night “because I came to play.”

If you want more insurance you can pay for additional coverage. But that basic plan is available to all. So why not have a similar program for medical insurance as part of a nation wide group policy. This group can be subsidized by the government but it would be managed by the existing insurance providers. (In other words if you want to be in the insurance business you must offer and support this minimum plan which would be a foundation for any other plan you offer) The govt pays the insurance company a flat rate to manage each person enrolled in the basic plan. The more money the company saves (the better they manage the insurance) the more money they keep. However if that company provides poor management it will cost them. Either subscribers will change management companies if they feel they are getting a raw deal or wasteful management would not be payed for by the government. One advantage I see here is that consumers would have an alternative providers to go to if they feel wronged by a particular management company. Insurance providers also have an incentive to offer additional services to the basic plan members in order to attract more subscribers and earn money. With a govt program like medicare your stuck with the one provider (the governement). As they say One Choice is NO Choice.... If someone wants additional insurance they can buy additional coverage from any provider they choose. But No one could be denied coverage for the standardized basic plan. Since everyone is part of this national group policy the basic insurance is portable and independent of supplemental policy one may have. So if you change jobs or move to a different state you may loose the supplemental policy BUT your basic coverage remains intact. You merely transfer the company that provides the management services for the basic medical. Insurance providers would get paid by the fed to manage the participants in the basic plan for each participant in the basic plan. this would put market forces into play for the insurance providers to make money by attracting additional participants through better service or offerings. COunter to this is if the consumer gets crappy management services they can transfer to any other insurance provider.

Hi, everyone. This morning, I had a minor car accident in the grocery parking lot. A lady's car hit the front seat door on the right side of my car. The lady's car is fine, but my car door got dented. For your information, the lady's car was parked in the parking space and I was backing up behind her side-way when she reversed and hit my car. I'm trying to get health insurance for myself since I have been to my doctor last week and he looked at my swollen cheek and said that it might be cancer tumor, but they're not sure about it and running a biopsy and will know by end of the week. Now, the health insurance companies are denying me coverage because I told them about the doctor's appointment and now considering the tumor as preexisting condition. I was wondering if I didn't tell them about the tumor and got the insurance and got admitted to a hospital, and the insurance company sues me later on; would that a valid sue or could I actually fight it? I only need the insurance till January since the Affordable Care Act comes out in January in which any preexisting cause goes out the window. Thank You!""

Why do I have to pay extra for changing address with my insurance company?

I recently moved and changed the details on my drivers licence and log book. When I called the insurance company to do the same they said i would need to pay 60 to cover the cost of the change between now and the renewal period (which at the time was approx 6 weeks away). All of this was AFTER they took my previous and new address to confirm my ID. When I asked them why this was as I had paid my entire premium in full last year (so as not to incur direct debit charges) they just repeated themselves. I did not have the 60 and said well I will just stay at the previous address (my ex-boyfriends) until my renewal comes through and I will change address then. However...my renewal has just come through in my NEW address but with postcode where vehicle kept overnight as my OLD address!! What does this actually mean?? surely if I have to make a claim it doesn't matter where the vehicle is kept esp as they have my address and the majority of claims do not happen at your residence!!! I have read the policy back to front and they even added amendments this year to include admin charges and NOWHERE does it mention being charged for change of address. I have literally moved around the corner surely its not just about postcodes or am I being naive??
