like we were so fucking robbed of seeing perez in the wake of saw vs events I want to see her getting out of the hospital and flipping tables and pointing a gun in ericksons face after being told that strahm is the lead suspect. I want to see her having a breakdown after strahms fingerprints come back dead. I want to see her hand twitching over her gun everytime she sees hoffman. I want to see her fucking losing it and desperate to avenge her friend and partner and to clear his name. I want to see the thought process that lead to her inviting known serial killer mark hoffman to the basement lab just so she could torture him psychologically before she had a legitimate excuse to shoot him. I want to see more of her and I want to see how strahms death impacted her the way the reverse impacted him.

Eevee!Ingo and Emmet evolve into Sylveons instead of Espeon/Umbreon because of Reader trying to hide it since they haven't confessed yet.
Awwww!! I suppose this would be like a childhood friends to lovers deal if they’re eevees <3
🍓🍓🍓
It’s the night after prom that it happens. You’ve since fallen asleep, still half dressed in your prom clothes, sprawled out on the various pillows and blankets. Flanking you are Ingo and Emmet, cuddled close as can be, because just before your untimely slumber, you had been stroking their ears and dragging your nails along their scalps to fluff up their hair. And your hands still reside on their heads, careful cradles that feel so very safe to the struck twins.
The night is quiet, save your soft snores and sleepy murmurs. Ingo can feel your heart’s gentle beat beneath his curled hand, his face squished against your shoulder and chest. He gazes up at you with such affection, such awe to see you, as though your presence was of divine influence. Mesmerized, he watches you sleep, body aching for him to follow you, but mind too active with daydreams and longing to allow him such rest.
Emmet is in a similar state. He curls around your stomach, head rested on the plush softness while his arms hold you against him not unlike a toy. His head rises and falls somewhat with the tempo of your breathing. It’s uncomfortable, the press of his half discarded suit, the twist of his spine, the way his neck stretches with each of your inhales, but he doesn’t move. He can bring himself to move away for a moment, to let you escape his grasp, to lose your warmth.
It’s a quiet night, left basking in love unexpressed.
Your nose wrinkles, Ingo notices. Your body tenses beneath Emmet’s cheek. You huff, hum, stretching your legs and adjusting your position to get more comfortable. Your hands twitch, curling into the choppy hair of each twin. Their eyes pinch closed at the sensation of your loving touch, subconsciously unconscious as it is.
And in that moment, the room alights with colors.
You jerk awake with a snort of confusion, blinded by the flashbang that has exploded. There’s a mess of frantic noises, bumps and thumps and frightened, clipped cries of your friends.
“Guys?!” You call, panicked. You’re not sure what’s happening, still rubbing sand from your eyes. “Ingo?? Emmet?? Where are you?”
“Nowhere!” Emmet shouts, followed by a loud smack and a yelp. You rub your eyes some more, blinking away sunspots. “Do not get up! Go back to sleep!”
“Everything’s alright!” Ingo says. You peer around, following the sound of shuffling and such towards the couch shoved into the corner to make room for the cuddle pile. “Don’t worry yourself! Emmet and I are doing a bit of maintenance! Go back to sleep, we will be fine!”
You climb to your knees, crawling towards the couch. You can see the soft shadows from the moon’s light casting strange figures onto the wall next to the couch. It worries you.
“Did something happen?” You ask, knelt before the couch. More shuffling is what answers you. “Are you two alright? Are you hurt?” You pause, and glance at the shadows again, eyes wide. “Wait, did you two evolve!?”
“No!” Emmet squeaks, but the guilt it carries exposes the lie.
“Guys!” You say, grabbing the couch to shake it some in your excitement. “That’s great! Congratulations! What evo are you both? Umbreon?”
A heavy silence hangs.
“No.” Ingo whispers. You’re shocked to hear him so quiet.
“Oh!” You say, thinking again. “Espeon?”
That would be strange, considering the time, but evolutions have always been strange. And nothing is ever certain.
Emmet whines. “No.”
Neither? You puzzle over it, confused as to why neither happened. Obviously they evolved, and you had heard them discussing the pros and cons of Umbreon versus Espeon should this day ever come. Now that it’s here, however, you’re sad to see them hiding away, no doubt upset they didn’t get either.
But if not those two, then. . .
You blush to yourself, but shake off the assumption. “Sylveon?”
A sob answers you.
No longer concerned about privacy, you scramble to your feet, shoving the couch aside to reveal your poor boys.
They’re beautiful, with their pink ears, decorated with bows, with the ribbons that cascade from them. They seem to sparkle in the moonlight, but you can’t focus on that now.
Ingo has curled into a ball, sobbing into his knees as he tries to cover his new ears and ribbons with his hands, to no avail. Emmet is tucked up next to him, eyes pinched shut as he shakes and tries to pull his shirt over his own ears.
Your beautiful boys, so distraught.
They easily fall into your grasping arms, clinging and whimpering as they pull you to them. Ingo cries into your shoulder, hiding his face, as Emmet presses to your heart. You pet their hair, hushing the sobs and apologies they spew.
“Shh,” you whisper as Ingo hiccups, “you’re okay. I’ve got you. I’m not going anywhere.”
“Yes, you will.” Emmet whines, rubbing his face into your chest. “You know now. You’re gonna leave.”
“This wasn’t what we planned.” Ingo continues, before you can ask anything. “We wanted. . . We wanted it to be romantic. Beautiful! Because we wanted you to feel special. You make us feel special, and so loved, and we love you! We want you to feel how you make us feel, yet now we’re here! We evolved early and now you know and-”
You kiss his head. Ingo falls silent, eyes wide as he paws at the fabric of your rumbled prom clothes. You kiss his head, kiss his temple, then turn to kiss Emmet on the nose when he looks up at you. Then you kiss his forehead.
And you kiss them, careful pecks upon their heads, their new ears, the tips of the feelers they now have. You kiss them, until you’re intertwined with them, never to ever leave.
🍓🍓🍓
I love them! I love them!!
Hope you enjoyed!
~Renee

My Trafalgar Law HC’s!! pt.4🥳🥳
This one’s longer and is kinda inspired by some people around me, but most of these I could honestly see for him!!
He doesn’t work at a hospital. He owns a private clinic. If he did, he’d work in the ER. He’d have a scribe. He’d either be very grumpy or very patient to work with.
He doesn’t read Homestuck/doesn’t really like it but if he absolutely had to choose his favorite human would be Dave Strider. I literally have no clue what his favorite troll would be, but I’m guessing maybe like Aradia or Karkat.
His favorite Nintendo series is Star Fox.
He’s more of a Vinesauce guy than a Jerma guy.
If you asked him what the three most recent songs he’s listened to are, he’d probably say:
Madhouse-Matt Maltese
Everyone Here Hates You-Courtney Barnett
Climbing Up The Walls-Radiohead
How they appeared on his playlist or if he even liked them is up to you.
He’s not a Taylor Swift fan, but I could see State of Grace, Red, Sparks Fly, Mine, All Too Well (10 min version) and Love Story being his favorite songs. (I literally can’t explain this one LOL)
He doesn’t mind Lofi.
This one is actually inspired by an old friend of mine, but he doesn’t really watch anime. He watches a lot of analysis videos on YouTube and if it’s interesting enough, he’ll watch it. This was the case for Cardcaptor Sakura, Fruits Basket, and Ergo Proxy.
He’s seen Phoebe Bridgers in concert with Nami. She also introduced him to Mitski.
Radiohead is probably his favorite artist. He also likes Paramore and Mitski
(Note: Before, I thought it was FATM, but a lot of my HC's and fanfic content heavily revolve around Radiohead. So, there's that. He probably still really likes FATM though. Same for Evanescence.)
He loves Metal Gear Solid and Death Stranding, and stuff like Half Life, Silent Hill, Portal, Overwatch and GMOD.
He likes watching Luffy play Skyrim and would probably be better than him if he played it.
He cried playing Shadow of the Colossus, Deemo, and Yomawari. He’s also cried playing some other games.
He went through an Undertale phase. He also cried playing it. He’d also be the person to spoil the whole route system, and would get annoyed if you don’t do “the good route”.
He really likes Batman. He prefers DC.
His favorite channel is Adult Swim.
If you show him Star Wars I-III he’ll make really funny jokes the entire time. He also really likes Chewbacca, Luke, and Obi Wan. And if you gift him a lightsaber you might find him on the deck late at night doing lightsaber tricks.
He LOVES Pikmin.
He sucks at MarioKart.
He’s really good at Smash Bros but he’ll silently rage quit if he’s doing bad or loses. His main is Cloud.
His favorite Pokémon is Lucario, but he also likes Bulbasaur. His favorite element is electric, so he also likes Espeon and Umbreon.
He does not participate in Secret Santa at the clinic.
This one’s kinda obvious but his favorite AOT character is Levi.
His favorite Demon Slayer characters are Rengoku and Nezuko. He bawled when Rengoku died.
His favorite BTS member is Jungkook.
When Pokémon Go was big, he used to drive Luffy, Chopper, and Nami around. Them and Kid and Killer would be fighting for Poke stops all the time, and leech (MaxMoeFoe reference) off their lures. Things would get so heated LOL
If you ask him to watch a Kdrama with you he’d hate it at first but then get really into it. He'd get so upset at any cliffhangers.
This one’s also obvious but he hates the color pink.
He doesn’t play Minecraft. And he probably wouldn’t in the foreseeable future.

So this would be my first kind of long post,,
A little backstory!!
Reeva is a 13 years old girl, who lives in Turrfield, Galar (stick with me and pretend that place has houses LMAO), she wants to be a trainer, naturally, as much galarians who grew up watching the stadium fights, mainly of Leon, plus living near one. Living amidst the excitement of them, she's captivated by the bonds formed between humans and pokemon and that idea of rivalry or camaraderie that could came out of pokemon battles.
She never knew how to properly interact with other children. She later found solace when she found Sableye (whom she fondly calls Eclipse).
She decided at her 11 years set her journey to became a pokemon trainer.
Her attitude often comes off as bratty and aloof, as she struggles to connect with others. her tough exterior is a defense mechanism, masking her insecurities and fear of rejection. Often pushes others away.
In reality, Reeva harbors a kind and compassionate heart, especially when it comes to her pokemon. She only gets how to act around pokemon, because pokemon are easy to understand, people is more complicated. She feels natural being kind and generous with pokemon rather than people.
She is into fashion and pokemon that are kind of cute but also spooky vibe.
She lies a lot about her, she prefers to say that she's from Kalos.
And her hair, she likes having her hair short but also know that long hair is more liked so she uses extensions.
Once she tried to lie early as a trainer, and only showed her cute pokemon and hid the spooky ones because she said that she only uses cute pokemon. That caused a disruption between her and Eclipse, the moment she realized this she cried a lot and asked for forgiveness and promised to never do it again.
Now she shows all her pokemon proud.
Her pokemon are
Eclipse/Sableye♂️, Solaris/Rapidash♂️, Dione/Espeon♀️, Ceres/Gengar♀️, Aurora/Drednaw♀️ Nana/Mawile♀️

[ Video ID: A news report. A reporter is holding the camera, pointing it at an inconspicuous building- which now has a smoking hole in the side of it, a fainted Golem being returned to its pokéball. Lance glares at the camera, trying to push away the reporter and crowd forming. "Please, people, this is very important- you all need to evacuate the city for the time being!"
"Champion Lance!" The reporter cries, shoving the camera in her face. "Is it true you're working with Team Rocket? Why are you with Giovanni Sakaki- is it due to your mental breakdown this weekend?"
Lance grimaces, hand grasping her cape for support. "I am not taking questions! I promise to do a full interview, just get out of the city, pl-"
"Champion Lance! You must answer the people! Please, what--" The reporter screams in shock as Lance grabs the camera, sending it crashing into a tree. With a cracked screen, the last thing it shows is Lance rushing towards Giovanni and the building, two women in white dresses filling out of the building with Espeons beside them. ]

could we get a continuation of the mermelli scenario? maybe reader actually gets to talk to him (and thank him for the pearl gift)!
-espeon anon
Yes of course I love to write you a continuation.
This is a part 2 of this mermelli story
Release
Cw: thalassophobia
The old wood of the pier creeks with each step you take the salty air of the ocean greets you once again. The cold salty welcome that you've missed. The fog impaired your site but you could still see the fishing boat floating calmly in the water. A sense of nostalgia filled you looking back at the old building that used to be the fishing and boat rental shop. 2 years, 2 years of lockdown was all it took to close this place. a place where you could be at peace was now sitting abandoned.
Nostalgia quickly being replaced with fear.
It's been 2 years.
Would he remember you again?
You clench your necklace taking a deep breath before continuing over to the boat. The white paint was peeling and the wood once smooth as if it was hand-carved to perfection in the care of a professional now sat soft and slightly eroded, but it still seemed usable.
It looks like luck was on your side today. After a few pumps, the motor hummed that familiar tune as it came to life once again. Carefully getting into the boat, creaking with each movement, you unhooked your trusty steed from the pier and rode it into the fog.
You weren't sure how far you were from Shore. You just picked a direction and went. It was quiet, with nothing but the cries of gulls and the waves keeping you company.
With nothing else to do left but wait, you kicked your feet on the other side of the boat and just lay there, enjoying this rare moment of peace. The controlled movements rock you like a baby in a cradle. Colorful jellyfish float about in your mind as your eyes start to droop.
You couldn't help but wonder what it's like to live in the ocean yourself. Living on land was fine and all. But it starts getting boring after the first couple of years. Only about 5% of the sea has been explored—so many places, things, and animals to see underneath the Great Sea. Maybe if you had a fishtail like he, you could go see him yourself. It seemed nice choosing to escape all the responsibilities and problems that waited for you on shore over a life of adventure and excitement...
"Nah..." you chuckled to yourself. You would miss your phone and internet way too much. It was a nice thought, though. If, hypothetically speaking, something like that were to happen, maybe you would give it a second thought.
You are just about to enter the Sea of Dreams until a splintering sound jolts you awake . Your heart drops to your stomach when you feel something wet and cold fill your shoe.
Water! Water was filling the boat. the realization hits you in the face as well as something that shatters your dreams of living in the ocean.
You can't swim.
You sat frozen as the boat continued to sink, your whole body shaking your coat that kept you warm this entire time, now freezing as it soaked up the water now up to your stomach.
You struggled against the same waves that kept you afloat, threatening to pull you back down with the boat that left your feet. You cringe at the taste of salt water as you try to cough it back up. Your heart practically stops in your chest when you feel something smooth brush against you. Your brain is doing what it does best, thinking about what horrors await in the deep blue that wanted to pick your bones clean from your lifeless body. Whatever it was, you couldn't see it, and that was the scariest part.
The air was stolen from you as soon as you submerged. Your lungs burn as they filled with water. You couldn't keep your eyes open. The last thing you saw light blue scales before going completely unconscious.
---
His whole body shook his only mission was to get you back on Shore humans didn't belong to the ocean they couldn't even last a second without the precious oxygen they needed to survive.
You weren't far from Shore holding you as if his life depended on it swimming as fast as he could until breaching the surface, laying you on the sand with the same pile of rocks blocking you and him from the view of anyone. If anyone even came to this place anymore...
Melli tried to shake you worry in, fear filling his heart. He didn't know the first thing about humans! Oh, please, Lord Kyogre! Don't take Them from him!
Tears welled up in his eyes the first time seeing you, and for what seemed like forever, he lost
You again. Melli lays his head on your chest. His eyes widened when he heard a shallow heartbeat. A hand brushing against his back scared the scales off of him when he immediately started coughing water being hacked up from their lung as they greedily took in the fresh air.
Melli throws himself off you, waiting for you to catch your breath and regain consciousness.
After rubbing your irritated eyes you sat up your hand feeling the sand underneath you—the distant memory of the ocean dragging you below.
you look over and your eyes met his. Before you can say anything, he explodes, tears streaming down his face as he goes off
" What were you thinking?! It's been 2 years and you pull a stunt like that! Going out in the water in a flimsy little death trap! Are you humans always this Reckless?! Are you humans always the stupid and dumb-!"
You didn't know what to say. This was all happening so fast... Did Melli save you?
He throws himself into your chest his fist slightly hitting you. Until he notices a familiar blue.
There dangling from your neck now sticking to your wet shirt. A blue pear. The same blue Pearl that he gave you.
"You kept it?" Melli's voice quivers
Finally getting a word in you spoke up
"Yes! I'm sorry I couldn't see you again, I wanted to I did! It's just a lot of stuff was happening for 2 years I-I couldn't!"
Melli did vaguely remember hearing something about something he did notice less and less people coming to the pier.
Melli finally let's go of you murmuring apologetically.
Your mind kept wondering back when you are drowning seeing blue scales. the same hue of blue that was his tail.
"D-did you?"
His face becomes a deep purple " yes! You were absolutely stupid and Reckless consider it Payback!"
'payback? What?'
You are still really recollecting your thoughts when you realized you were soaking wet and it was November.
you couldn't stay for long you didn't feel like dying of hypothermia after just being rescued.
" thank you"
" for saving your life?" Melli said giving you a deadpan look.
You let out a nervous laugh " well yes that too, also the gift." gesturing to the Pearl.
His face goes purple again. Noticing you getting up from the sand. He instinctually grabs at your still soaked coat. He looked like a lost puppy.
" I'll be back don't worry"
" You promise?"
"yes"
melli let's go of your coat holding up his pinky
" it's a ritual that humans do right I've seen it all the time once you do it you have to keep the promise."
You couldn't help but chuckle.
"w-what's so funny?!"
" nothing nothing." you smile holding your pinky and wrapping it around his.
You promised each other at a certain time at least once a week on the same day the two of you would meet at the same spot.

As awful as the scenario is in the wanted!verse, it's prrrobably for the best the bad guys stay focused on the eggs and Ingo.
Like, this poor man has nearly lost his kid SO MANY TIMES (the alphas + nobles, komado, a literal ninja, rampaging gods, the local cashier, an eldritch abomination,,, and now there's an evil team, great) if ONE MORE person aims for her he's probably going to snap. Just. Wrap her in his coat and make angry feral train noises at anyone who approaches.
I don’t know what made me laugh harder, you describing Volo as a local cashier or imagining a protective Ingo making feral train noises 🤣
(You’re right in that he’d absolutely prefer the bad guys focus on him, but he hates that they are after the eggs. Akari is a fantastic trainer that has defeated gods, the eggs are just eggs, they have no defense except their shells.)
And you are so correct. Ingo and Akari have been ride or die since they had their first Pokémon battle against each other. Akari’s Lilligant, Espeon, and Typhlosion Vs Ingo’s Machoke, Gliscor, and Tangela. It was a close fight too, Gliscor hitting Akari’s team the hardest, but Dusk pulled through and then made short work of Tangela. It had been the first real challenging battle Akari had ever experienced in Hisui. It had felt just the same for Ingo with that added surprise that he had lost. Something that had not happen to him at all in any of the battles he’d faced up to now. The experience had shaken memories loose for both of them.
The two had already built a respect and even a friendship in the two days they had traveled together through the highlands. This was the first time Akari had someone there to guide her during her mission. He taught her about the best places to forage, where the alphas liked to roam, the safest routes to take to avoid wild pokemon, and more. It had been such a relief to have someone older and more experienced with her. The battle had been the last push needed for Akari to decide she wants to remain friends with this warden.
As for Ingo, he had already been questioning why the clans and the Galaxy team were depending to someone so young to quell the nobles. Now that they understood what was needed to quell them, these food bombs, why couldn’t the wardens handle it themselves? Unfortunately Melli had proven to be no help at all and Ingo couldn’t step in himself on a Diamond matter any farther then he already had without upsetting the clans.
One of my favorite details about the speech Ingo gives after Akari quells Electrode, is that as he’s talking to the group, he looks directly at Akari when he says “Through battle, Trainers forged bonds of understanding with their Pokémon, and with their opponents and their Pokémon, too.” So it’s from that moment forward that the adoption papers are basically signed.
I’m my fic Ingo gets banded from entering the village too after Akari is booted. The games plot plays out a little bit differently with Ingo being involved and helping as well, which upsets Melli so much.
He’s not there durring what happens with Volo but he is there after it to pick up the pieces of the horrific betrayal of someone Akari honestly considered a friend. He does in fact wrap her in his coat to hide her from the world as she cried.
Ingo is well aware that Akari knows how to handle herself, but he also tries to help her understand that she doesn’t always have to. She doesn’t have to go at it all alone and she doesn’t have to put on a brave face and pretend she’s ok 24/7. He’s here for her if she wants him to be.
Before they find the Arc-transceiver they both have quietly accepted at some point that they’re likely never going home to where they came from. By this point they already see each other as family and are both grateful to at least have each other. Upon realizing they can actually go home is such a shock and of course they are happy to find where they belong as they both have always felt so out of place in Hisui. However, there is also an underlying worry that once the other is reunited with their real family they won’t need them anymore. It’s a selfish thought they both try to push away but it does exist.

Assigning Pokemon to the jock clique bc they're my favorite clique
For Damon I'd say his starter would be a Charmander that is now a Charizard. He has an Incineroar, a Machoke, a Pancham, a Meowth, a Gallade, and an Eevee named Angel that he would literally die for and doesn't use for battling. Casey has made multiple jokes about Damon's Incineroar, Machoke and his Eevee becoming a Vaporeon. Damon never found it funny
Ted's starter was a Froakie that's now a Frogadier. He has a Hitmonchan, a Stufful, a Jangmo-o, a Teddyursa, a Geodude, a Wobbuffet, a Dragonite, an Axew, and a Cubone
Kirby's starter is a Mudkip. He has a Gible, a Jigglypuff that Ted gave him because it looks like video game Kirby, a Gastly, and a Pincer, Beedrill, Spinarak and Parasect that Damon is terrified of and Kirby now actively collects bug types to mess with him
Casey's starter is a Tepig. He has an Amoonguss, a Tyrogue, a Pikachu, a Jolteon, a Yamper, a Luxray, a Sentret, and a Morpeko. He prefers electric types. He also got scammed into buying a Magikarp egg for $200 because he was told it was a Ralts egg. When Dan told him, he cried. So now he just has a Magikarp and doesn't know how to evolve it
Juri's starter was a Piplup that's now an Empoleon. He has an Ursaring, a Snorunt, a Glaceon, a Mimikyu he found in a dumpster, a Snover, a Mamoswine, a Vulpix, and a Flareon
Luis's starter is a Chespin. He has a Breloom, a Mawile, a Clodsire, a Toxel, a Seviper, a Grimer, a Riolu, a Weavile, and a Sandile. He likes poison types
Dan's starter was an Oshawott that's now a Dewott. He has an Espeon, a Kirlia, a Mime Jr, an Ampharos, a Butterfree, a Doduo, a Noctowl, an Onix, and a Torchic
Mandy's starter was a Popplio that's now a Preimarina. She has a Gardivoir, a Lopunny, a Sylveon, a Serperior, a Lilligent, a Jynx, a Pom-Pom Oricorio, a Galarian Rapidash, a Glaceon, and a Skitty. She only has show pokemon

Florence, Audie, and Kita settled on a spot on the beach, with Florence laying on a towel on land, while Audie played with Kita in the water as the two watched surfers ride waves. The Umbreon watched over her son, the faintest hint of a smile on her face as she watched them.
Florence not only enjoyed watching Audie and Kita play together, but enjoyed the atmosphere. She usually always felt a little cold, even on the warmest of days, but being surrounded by family made her feel more at ease. Made her feel like she wasn't always on edge. She would lean back and close her eyes, and let the shining sun warm her body.
Though it wouldn't take long for a gawker, a smaller Snorlax, to stare at Florence's body. This Pokemon stood over Florence, breathing heavily as he stared. She would open an eye, and stared them down. She kept a calm face, but she was becoming a bit uncomfortable. "Can I help you?"
Audie stopped briefly, and saw the situation unfolding. He kept his distance, both to not cause a scene and to not frighten Kita. The Snorlax continued to breathe heavily. "Hey. What say me and you go back to my place, and I'll show you a good time?"
Florence scoffed at the other Pokemon. "Sorry, I'm already spoken for. And even if I wasn't, I'd never go anywhere with you. You're being a bit sleazy and creepy."
The Snorlax snorted, and forcefully grabbed onto Florence's hand and pulled her up. "You misunderstand. I wasn't asking."
Florence then raked her claws across the Snorlax's cheek. But it didn't at all deter him, and he tightened his grip. His claws began to dig into her wrist. The Umbreon let out a frightened gasp. "Get away from me!" She cried, beginning to panic.
"Kita... Run back to the house for me, okay?" Audie said, motioning for her to run back. She nodded and scurried back to the house. When she was out of sight, he approached Florence and the Snorlax. "Hey!"
The Snorlax looked over at Audie, and chuckled. "Who are you supposed to be, ya twig?"
The Espeon's rings began to glow, and he cracked his neck. A small group of Pokemon began to gather around the three, and Florence started getting more uncomfortable. Audie noticed her demeanor and shot icy daggers at the Snorlax. "That doesn't matter. What does matter is that if you don't let my mom go in ten seconds, I'm going to break you."
"Oh, really? What're you going to do to me, momma's boy?" The Snorlax scoffed
Audie's eye slightly twitched, and his wings spread open, which earned some gasps from some of the onlookers. "I don't think you want me to answer that." Audie growled.
The Snorlax finally let go of Florence, and he turned to face Audie. "Yeah... I do."
Audie began to breathe heavier. He looked down to see his mom's wrist bruised and bleeding. He looked back up at the Snorlax. "Okay."
Audie sped directly at the Snorlax, grabbing their wrist and breaking it. He then picked the Snorlax up in both hands, holding him over his head like he was carrying a box. Audie, still carrying the Snorlax, walked towards the water, stopping right where the waves were crashing. The Snorlax flailed in Audie's hands. "Let me go!"
Audie looked up. "Your words, not mine." He moved back, and threw the Snorlax down feet first. He was thrown with such force that his body was buried, with only his head sticking out of the sand facing right where the water crashed. Audie knelt down and lightly patted the Snorlax's head. "Have fun." The Espeon began walking away, but quickly turned around. "Oh, and if you mess with my mom, or Arceus forbid my daughter, I'll make sure to show you how far I can throw."
The Pokemon that gathered around began to clap as Audie walked back to Florence. "Let's get you inside." He said as he picked up Florence and walked back to the house.

Together forever – Arven x Reader
Together forever – Arven x Galarian!Reader
First post okkk, I genuinely didn’t know what to make the title, and I hate this so much cause I started writing in Y/n’s POV instead of Narrators POV and I can’t write for Y/n’s POV like ever it’s so bad. I’m not happy with this at all I’m probably gonna re-write this like one day. Also I didn’t really know how to write the second part (after the line) so that part was rushed and not as well-written as the first part was.              This week was graduation week. All my seniors were overjoyed at the fact they were finally graduating. Several graduation parties were being held right before the last day of school since final exams had just ended. I was of course happy too, I could finally be a senior myself and I was soon going to be a year closer to graduating. But a part of me just really wasn’t happy as well. The thought of all my friends leaving me behind didn’t sit right with me. I was the youngest in my friend group. Nemona, Penny, and Arven. They were all a year above me. The reason we became friends was well, I don’t really actually even remember. That’s not the point here though. The point is that all my close friends would be leaving me, I could deal with it during class since there were a few people in my class who I had taken a liking too and was able to be their partners during projects. But outside of class I relied on them. It made me anxious to even think about being all alone again. I didn’t know what to do. I stared at the clock it was almost time for class. Had I really been awake from 11pm all the way till 6am? I usually fell asleep easily thinking about all sorts of things. It was easy for me to fall asleep; in fact I enjoyed it, being able to close your eyes and not have to worry about anything.
I dragged my feet into class, the day was spent mainly fooling around, playing bored games, etc. Nothing really interesting. I dozed of majority of the time, or just listened to my classmates talking about what they were going to do during summer break and how we all should meet up. If you ask me the idea wasn’t bad, but I’d rather sleep in.
I opened my eyes as I heard the bell ring for break. I hurriedly got up from my seat and rushed over to the area me and my friends usually sat at. I waited for a bit. And waited some more. . . .It didn’t seem like they were coming, they were probably on that field trip they were talking about. Apparently they were going today morning I think and are coming back on the last day of school. Must be nice. I got up from the place I was sitting at and walked around while eating my lunch. I settled for sitting in a corner and just watch the younger students run around and play tag until the bell rang.
The rest of the day was pretty boring just going around from class to class and listening to student’s gossip. Eventually though I had arts. The teacher had requested us to draw something that came from our hearts. Whatever that meant. I stared at the blank sheet of paper I had gotten and thought of what I could even draw. Before I even knew it I started drawing, a boy I think. I couldn’t really tell yet. I was simply just drawing what I felt like I should. All of a sudden I stared back down at the paper and saw a boy, or maybe it was a girl? The hair seemed familiar almost too familiar. My cheeks felt hot as I realized who I started drawing, I crumpled up the drawing and threw it away. Screw my brain. I only had 10 more minutes to draw something. I eventually grabbed another paper and quickly sketched out an Umbreon and Espeon and handed it.
I walked out of class and walked to my dorm, oh my Arecus was I lonely. I should probably try and make some friends in my grade next year. I fiddled with the keys to my dorm and walked inside closing the door behind me. I took off my shoes and crawled onto my bed. I stared at the wall and my stomach was making funny knots. It didn’t hurt but it sure didn’t feel good either. I thought I was having a stomach ache or something of that sort but it didn’t feel the same. This either happened from the thought of being lonely or whatever I was doing in art class. I turned around I threw my head into my pillow before I felt my phone vibrating. I groaned as I opened it. It was from the gc with me and my friends. They had apparently been messaging in there for like what 10 minutes now? I don’t know how I just realized. I opened the gc and scanned over the messages.
Arven Hey buddy! How ya doing?
Nemona HI YN ARE YOU AWAKE OR DID U SLEEP THROUGH ALL YOUR CLASSES AGAIN ??
Penny Calm down it’s been 5 minutes plus its 4pm, they’re probably heading back to their dorm.
Arven But what if something happened? They usually respond really quickly even if they’re in class
-4 minutes ago
Nemona Exactly
Penny What’s your point you imbeciles
Arven Ouch words hurt penny
Penny And idc
Weren’t they all in the same place? Why were they communicating in a group chat.. I stared at the messages. I didn’t really know what to say and you were too tired to even reply back. But it was obvious I had read it by now so I quickly typed a quick good night to the group chat and set my phone aside, not bothering to see what they had said afterwards.
I changed out of my uniform and into something else and jumped onto my bed as I closed my eyes. But same thing as last night, I couldn’t sleep. I found myself wanting to cry at the thought of being lonely again. I didn’t want to be alone, or for them to go, I really loved them. I loved how energetic Nemona could be, I admired her for that. I also really loved Penny and how sweet she could be underneath all that ice. I especially loved Arven, I couldn’t really pinpoint why but I knew I did. Just thinking of him made my heart flutter. At some point I started crying into my pillow, it was just too much for me to handle at the time.
………………………………………………………………………………
The whole week had passed with the same schedule. Today they were finally graduating and you’d be a senior. The morning half of your classes was some-what fun, I wish I could enjoy it as much as my classmates had been. I hated the thought of being alone, but I had to accept it. The bell rang and I got up, your vision was blurry, though there weren’t any tears in it and my chest started hurting. Everything felt un-real. Maybe I was being dramatic. I got up from my seat as the bell rang. I was walking to the table me and my friends usually sat at. My walking came to a halt and I turned around. I can’t really explain what came over me but I really didn’t wanna see them right now. I was sort of starting to regret walking away but I couldn’t help it, I just needed some space at the moment.
The rest of the day passed by fairly quickly, I was just lying down on my bed while watching tv till all of a sudden my phone started vibrating. I hurriedly reached for it and checked it. It was a message from Arven.
“Hey buddy where you at?”
“At my dorm, why?”
“Aren’t you gonna come orr”
“Oh Yea ok I’ll be down there give me a minute”
“cya” liked by y/n
You changed into one of your outfits and put on your shoes and ran out of your dorm closing the door behind you. You went outside and started searching for your friends. You found them eventually standing near a fountain, talking.
“Hey”
“Hi”
“Hey Y/n!”
“Hey buddy”
We all stared at each other awkwardly in silence till Nemona spoke up.
“I’m just gonna get some food be right back”
“I’ll go with you wait” Nemona ran off with Penny trailing behind.
“So…where were you all day?”
“I was just walking around, kinda forgot you all came back from your trip today sorry”
“Oh, I wanted to give you something”
“Hm?”
Arven grabbed something from his backpack and handed it to me. It was a…a pokeball? A cherish one to be exact. I grabbed the pokeball and examined it carefully.
“Go ahead, open it”
“Oh, there’s something inside?”
“Y/n…it’s a pokeball…why would I give you an empty one…”
“Oh.”
I threw the pokeball out excited to see what pokemon was inside. It was a… an applin? I looked back at him, his face was a light read color and I looked back at the applin. I examined a bit more till it finally hit me. My face was burning and I was sure he could feel the heat radiating off of me by now.
“You love me?” Why am I so stupid? Of course that’s why he gave me an applin, there’s no other explanation! I’m from Galar, and he just came back from a trip to Galar!
“Yea, I totally get if you don’t feel the same wa-“
I cut him off by placing a kiss on his cheek. “I love you too! I never would have thought you liked me back..I guess that’s why I ignored you guys when you all came back, I couldn’t stand seeing you all at the time…I especially couldn’t see you, my chest felt tight whenever I even thought of you leaving so I just avoided you all, I’m so-“I was cut off by him placing a kiss on my face and pulling away.
“You talk too much sometimes, you know? I already knew that you idiot! And, I’ll never leave you, so come on let’s go find those two.” He said grabbing my hand to go search for Penny and Nemona together.

[Video ID: A field somewhere in Alola, with the sound of gently lapping waves in the background. On the left side of the field stands Victoria Gonzap, leader of Team Snagem, in her purple and black Team Lead outfit, and with what appear to be several fresh bite marks on her arms. If examined closely, they resemble the general size and shape of the average Vulpix muzzle. Grinning with too-sharp teeth, she says, “I’m impressed you managed to track me down, Legend. Sharp work, even from you!” On the right side of the field stands Legend, the Johto-born, Kalos-based Pokemon shelter worker and trainer. They stare at Victoria, unreadable except for a faint tremor in their hands. Victoria tosses a purple and black Snag Ball idly as she talks. “I assume you want to battle me, right? For the fate of your poor widdle ol’ Ember?” Her grin stretches wider as she continues, “Well here she is~! All you have to do is beat me and I’ll hand her over. She’s a little roughed up, but that’s what you get when you fuck with me, y’know?”
Legend’s lip curls into a snarl as they say “Fine. Let’s do this then. Amethyst!” “Monarch!” The Spinarak and Espeon circle each other warily before Amethyst darts forward, Monarch dodging her Psychic but crying out as he’s hit by a Psychic Fangs, before retaliating with a String Shot.
Suddenly, Monarch cries out as an Ice Beam hits him from off-camera. Both trainers look for the cause, just as a small white Vulpix bounds onto the battlefield and snarls at Victoria and her Pokemon.
Both trainers are stunned, but Victoria recovers first. She laughs and says, “Well, how about that! Looks like you found yourself a friend. Well,” she purrs, “I always did love double battles.” With a flick of her wrist, a Shadow Litten emerges onto the field.
“Twilight! Ember!” “Amethyst! Psychic fang!” The battle is almost to fast to keep up with, but it soon becomes apparent that even with the advantage of a Natural Shadow Pokemon, Victoria can’t keep up with Legend’s endless wrath and higher-level Pokemon.
Finally, with a lip curled in disgust, she returns Twilight and Monarch to their Pokeballs, and pulls out the same Snag Ball from earlier. Legend’s eyes lock on to the ball holding their beloved Vulpix, and stay on it as Victoria speaks. “Looks like you beat me, Legend. I only have one thing to say-”
With a loud vworp noise, a Beeheyem teleports in next to her. Victoria’s face morphs into a wild-eyed smirk, looking like the Skitty that got the cream.
“BETTER LUCK NEXT TIME, CHUCKLEFUCK!” With another vworp, the Beeheyem teleports themself and Victoria away seconds before a small rock hurtles into the space just occupied by Victoria’s face, leaving a single purple and black Snag Ball to fall to the ground with a soft thump.
Legend dives for the Pokeball, opening it in a wash of purple light. Their back is to the camera, but orange fur can be seen curled around their arms. The phone microphone can only pick up bits of what they’re saying. “Oh sweetheart-” “Shh, shh, it’s ok, you’re ok, we’re gonna get you patched up, I’ve got you-” “It’s alright Ember, shh, you’re safe-”
The Alolan Vulpix yips in a concerned fashion at what they can see curled up in Legend’s lap. One hand reaches out to rub their head, as the Vulpix looks up at Legend.
Video ends.]

Dice Daycare ch 1
During the day, Dice Daycare takes care of Pokemon. During the night, the group known as Phantom Mask steal Shadow Pokemon from the evil Team DR so that they can be purified and rehabilitated. Kokichi, along with his organization Dice, show these pokemon how to open their hearts again.
Too bad no one told Shuichi Saihara this. When his friend Kaede, who can see the auras of Shadow Pokemon, brings him news of her sister having one of these evil pokemon, it puts him on a crash course with the vigilante group. As he tries to investigate the daycare and figure out what these Shadow Pokemon are and why Dice seem to be involved, he learns about pokemon being stolen and slowly uncovers the existence of Team DR.
[Kokichi & Dice]
[Pokemon Crossover, Non despair, Original Pokemon Region, Pokemon Trainers, Team Dynamics, Teams as Family, Friendship, Developing Friendships]
It was the night of a new moon, making the sky darker than usual and lending an ominous air to the world. Kokichi had switched out his usually bright clothes for a darker outfit, a dark purple cloak obscuring his form as he held his mask in his hand. He looked behind him at his team of five, all wearing hooded cloaks like his but in varying colors. Two in pink, one in black, one in red, and the last in blue.
"Are we ready?" Kokichi asked them. They were already wearing their mask, an army of brightly smiling faces staring back at him as they all gave him a salute. "Good," he said, placing his own mask over his face. He tapped his ear piece a few times to confirm that it was working before he spoke again. "Team smile, with me. Team Frown, go around the back. Now let's move out!"
The building had three stories and two entrances. While his second team would be making a quieter entrance around the back so that they could head up to the higher floors more quickly, Kokichi was prepared to enter the building with a bang. He tossed his two balls in the air, one a normal pokeball and the other a premiere ball, and out came his Ghastly and Misdreavus.
"Psybeam, Misdreavus!" The pokemon cried out in excitement before launching a beam toward the doors and blasting them open.
His two pink robed associates took the lead ahead of him, an Espeon and Umbreon at their sides. Kokichi kept to the shadows, keeping his eyes peeling for anything amiss. It took less than five minutes for someone to come investigate the commotion. Two adults wearing black and red, letting him know that his information was correct. Team DR always wore black and red.
The girl was wearing a red crop top and matching beret, with a black jacket draped over her shoulder and black pants with two belts across her waist, one black and one red that held four pokeballs. The guy was shirtless under his black jacket, wearing a black beret and the same style of pants and belt, but only two pokeballs on him.
"What the hell is going on here?" The guy demanded.
One of Kokichi's two subordinates, code name Joy, walked forward, waving cheekily. "Hi! We knocked, but no one answered. Hope you don't mind that we let ourselves in," she said.
The other, Trust, was more sedate in his response. "Just to confirm, you are part of Team DR, right?"
"Shit, they're onto us," the girl said, grabbing one of her Pokeballs.
"Oh good," Joy said as she reached beneath her cloak and pulled out a love ball. "You're making this easy for me."
"We're not letting you leave here," the guy added.
"They're making this really easy," Trust added, tossing a friend ball up and down in his hand. "It's a pain when they try to retreat."
The female DR grunt sent out a Gloom. "Make them feel despair!"
The guy silently sent out a Mankey.
"Let's go, Vivi!" Joy cried as she released her Espeon.
"Help her out, Eclipse," Trust said as he let out his Umbreon.
Kokichi only kept half an eye on the battle as he moved along the sides of the room, looking for anything suspicious. Ghastly kept close to him, while Misdreavus wandered to the other side of the room, keeping an eye out. He didn't see anything too important laying around and when Misdreavus floated back to his side, the quick shake of her head reported the same results. If there was anything important in this base, it would be on the upper floors.
Espeon made quick work of the first two pokemon, and Umbreon was able to dispatch the female grunt's second pokemon just as handily. That's when things got interesting.
"It's time to stop playing around," the girl said. "Destroy them, Tangela!"
"Annihilate them, Meowth!"  The guy added.
Kokichi stood up straighter as he stared at the two new pokemon. Both had strange, dark auras around them, marking them for what they were, Shadow Pokemon. Pokemon that had been abused to the point of closing off their heart and obtaining a strange power. Kokichi clenched his fist to see them, even though he'd known to expect them. That was why he was here, after all. To steal these Shadow Pokemon right from under Team DR's noses.
The Meowth used shadow rush right away, disappearing into a dark blurr and barrelling straight into Trust, knocking him down. Shadow Pokemon had no hesitation when it came to attacking trainers and hurting others. The cruelty that had been done to them became second nature and they lashed out at whatever was in front of them.
Joy jumped away from the pokemon. "Attract, Vivi!"
The Espeon quickly followed her trainer's command, shooting out hearts that hit the Meowth head on and made the pokemon hesitate. The Tangela didn't though, using vine whip against both trainer and pokemon, making them both cry out in pain.
Umbreon let out a cry before disappearing and slamming into Meowth with a faint attack. Trust was able to push himself to his feet and Joy made her way to her partner's side to help him stand.
"You good?" she asked.
"Yeah, I'm fine," Trust answered. "I've taken worse."
Meowth turned around and bit Umbreon, only to be knocked away by a quick attack from Espeon. Tangela released a purple powder into the air, but both Espeon and Umbreon were able to dodge the poison powder.
Kokichi made his way closer to the fight from the shadows. He pushed his cloak off of one shoulder, revealing the machine that he wore on his arm. He took a premier ball in hand and charged it with the snag machine as he waited for his chance.
Meowth scratched Umbreon, who released a screech in turn, causing Meowth to wince from the loud sound. Espeon followed up with confusion, making the pokemon cover its head in pain. Kokichi chose that moment to strike, throwing his premier ball at the Meowth and watching as the pokemon was sucked into the ball.
"What?"
"What the hell?" the two DR grunts cried in unison.
His subordinates didn't hesitate.
"Quick attack, Vivi!"
"Faint attack, Eclipse!"
Espeon quickly slammed into Tangela, followed by Umbreon.
Kokichi quickly readied another premier ball and tossed it at the newly injured Tangela. Both balls stopped moving quickly, cementing their stolen status.
"They stole our pokemon?" The male DR grunt said in a shocked whisper.
"How dare you!" the woman yelled.
Kokichi stepped out of the shadows as Ghastly and Misdreavus went to retrieve the two balls for him. "If your superiors ask, make sure that you tell them you were hit up by the Phantom Mask." He caught the two balls that his pokemon dropped into his hand. "And make sure you remember that karma is bitch. Misdreavus, shadow rush."
Misdreavus cried out happily as her eyes glowed before she charged at the two trainers. Kokichi didn't usually like to have pokemon use shadow rush. It did recoil damage to the pokemon that used it and it was a reminder of whatever sick experiments that team DR had done to try and make their pokemon stronger. But he was a fan of karmic justice and letting an abused pokemon get to attack the trainers that hurt them was justifiable in Kokichi's book.
Joy and Trust were high fiving each other as the two DR grunts hit the ground, knocked out. "Great job, missy!" Joy said.
Misdreavus preened at the praise, floating around Joy before returning to Kokichi's side. He tapped his ear piece once. "Team Frown, how we doing?"
He could hear the sounds of battle in the background as one of his subordinates answered him. "Second floor was a bust, but there was an office on the third floor. Envy found a shadow Magnimite and Fear is holding off a team of electric types. Vaporeon wouldn't be much use there so I'm grabbing files from the office. Might be in your best interest to get up here, boss."
"Alright, I'm on my way," Kokichi said. He looked at his pink clad teammates. "I'm counting on you two to guard the exits in case anything happens. And tie those two up. I don't want them to get away before we can get Officer Jenny here."
They both saluted. "Got you, boss."
Ghastly floated ahead of him, showing the fastest route to the next floor. Before the end of the night he'd have at least one more Shadow Pokemon under his belt.
OoOoOo
The lights were still on when they returned, well after midnight. Even in the dark the large sign that read Dice Daycare could be read. They had used glow in the dark paint to make sure that it would always stand out. It was a two story building with a rather large yard and a tall, sturdy fence meant to keep pokemon in and people out.
Kokichi looked up at the two ghost pokemon floating over his shoulders with a smile. "Take a look around and make sure things are alright for me?"
The two ghosts made sounds of agreement and vanished from sight.
Kokichi glanced behind him to make sure his five subordinates were still there, then he continued forward to open the daycare door.
Two of his Dice members were sitting at the front desk, sharing a pot of tea. To the left was Elaria, a delicate looking pokemon breeder with teal hair pulled into an elegant bun and large, bright blue eyes. To the right was his younger half brother Kouchi, who shared his hair and eye color but wore a mask pulled up over the bottom half of his face. The mask was currently pulled down so that he could sip his tea, but it was pulled up again as soon as he placed his cup down on the table.
"Welcome back," Elaria greeted.
"Anything cool happen while we were gone?" he asked.
"Not really," Kouchi answered. "How did it go?"
The rest of his team came in behind him, with the three members of Team Frown waving and giving brief greetings as they walked past them to the stairs that lead to the upper floors, likely to sleep. Team Smile meanwhile moved past Kokichi to talk to the others at the desk.
Member Joy, real name Orchid, hopped up onto the counter, Elaria moving her cup of tea out range for being accidentally knocked over. She tossed off her hood and took off her mask, smiling brightly at them both. The bangs of her bright pink hair fell over the left side of her face, partially covering one of her bright pink eyes, the rest of her pulled back into a messy ponytail, revealing the double piercings in her ear. "It went great!" Orchid told them. "We got three new Shadow Pokemon."
Member Trust, real name Cormac, leaned on the desk beside Kouchi as he removed his own hood and mask. Cormac had short, messy white hair and pink eyes that were darker than Orchid's. "A Tangela, Meowth, and Magnemite."
"A Meowth," Kouchi repeated. "Koharu will be happy to hear that."
Koharu was his other half brother and Kouchi's full brother. His two half brothers had only found and joined him recently, but they were a good fit for Dice. Koharu, for all of his arrogance and difficulty getting along with people, was really good with pokemon and animals alike. In contrast, Kouchi was really good with people. He was soft spoken, kind, and a bit of a night owl, making him a good choice for nightwatch at the daycare.
The other core members of his group included his twin brother Kimochi, the twins Aoko and Arin, psychic trainer Hunter, and cool trainer Kanade. Kimochi and Kanade were on the Attack Team, battling with Shadow Pokemon and taking down the stronger members of Team DR. They were currently away on a mission and Kokichi wasn't sure when the two would be back. A few of his former classmates also worked with him on occasion, but he hesitated to call them official members just yet.
Kokichi let out a loud sigh and sprawled out on the counter, causing Elaria to again quickly move her cup of tea before it was knocked over. "I can't believe neither of you have greeted your beloved leader."
Elaria took a sip of her tea before dutifully saying, "Hello, beloved leader."
"Welcome back, Kokichi," Kouchi added.
"Lackluster, both of you!" He glared at them before forcing his eyes to water and sniffling sadly. "Wahh! Neither of you care about me! If Kimochi was here, I'd never be treated so poorly."
"Tragedy of tragedies," Kouchi said, sipping his own tea. "How will you ever recover?"
Orchid raised her hand enthusiastically. "I appreciate you, boss!"
"It's too late!" he cried. "I know that none of you love me."
"Was that supposed to be on the test?" Cormac asked. "Shoot, I knew I forgot to study something."
Orchid laughed. Kouchi thought his grin was hidden because his face was covered, but Kokichi could tell by his eyes that he was smiling as well.
"You're all horrible minions! You're fired."
"I'm your brother, you can't fire me," Kouchi told him.
"I can," Kokichi insisted, slamming his hands down on the counter. "I'm firing you as a brother."
"Oh, can I be your new brother?" Orchid asked excitedly.
"You're hired."
"Yes!" Orchid cheered.
Kouchi just shook his head before standing up. "Are you in for the night? Can I lock up?"
"Yeah, go ahead," Kokichi agreed. "We should all probably get some sleep soon."
Orchid hopped off the counter with a yawn. "You don't need to tell me twice," she said. "Night everybody. Night new brother."
"Good night, big brother," Kokichi said with a grin.
Kouchi frowned. "You don't call me big brother."
"Well you're not my brother anymore, are you. You got fired."
"And what, she immediately got a promotion?"
"Yeah."
Elaria got to her feet and collected the tea cups and tea pot. "Would you like another cup before bed, Kouchi?"
"No thank you," Kouchi answered.
Kokichi waved at her as she left the room. "Alright, I'm off to bed, minions."
"Good night, Kokichi."
  OoOoOo
Kokichi woke up to his bed shaking. The confusion only lasted as long as it took him to sit up as he was immediately wrapped in an embrace. "Good morning, Kokichi!" Orchid chirped happily.
Kokichi sighed and slumped against her, submitting himself to being cuddled as he tried to blink the sleep out of his eyes. "Why did you wake me up?" he asked.
Orchid was a morning person and she made it everyone's problem. Cormac was the usual target of her morning wake ups, since the two were childhood friends, but everyone had gotten it at least once. She was a social butterfly and the only way to prevent her from waking someone up for company was if someone else was already awake or she decided to wander off and get herself into trouble.
"You'll miss breakfast if you sleep too long," she told him. "You're the last one still in bed."
"That's not true," he said immediately. He knew for a fact that Aoko wouldn't get up before noon and it was nowhere near that late.
Orchid paused before leaning back and smiling widely. "You're the last one who's door was unlocked."
Kokichi knew he had forgotten something last night. He groaned and pushed her away. She was dressed in a long flowy pink dress with a large hibiscus flower in her hair and a coral bracelet on her wrist, looking remarkably like she had the day he met her. They were both a few years older, but nothing about her had change at all.
"Go away so I can get dressed," he told her.
"Will you just go back to sleep?" she asked him.
Any other day the answer would be yes. The day after a raid, however, he had too many things to do and she probably knew it. Ugh, he hated his group sometimes. "No."
Orchid hugged him one more time before bouncing off the bed. "Okay! See you downstairs." She closed the door behind her.
Kokichi groaned as he fell back onto the bed. Today was going to be a long day.
  OoOoOo
Kokichi met a wall of noise when he descended the stairs to the daycare. Ghastly and Misdreavus were floating over his shoulder and he yawned as he reached the bottom of the stairs. Ghastly appeared in front of him to make a ridiculous face, turning his yawn into a laugh.
His classmate, Kirumi, was standing behind the counter. She nodded her head as she saw him. "Hello, Kokichi. I've prepared breakfast and left it on the table for everyone. I made plenty so don't be afraid to eat your fill."
"Wow! Thanks mom!" he said cheerfully.
Kirumi's face scrunched up in distaste. "Please don't call me that."
"Someone's got to be the mom around here," he said.
"I don't wish to have any children, let alone children that are my same age," she said calmly.
"Aww, you love me just as much as my real mom!"
Kirumi looked troubled by that, but Kokichi skipped past the counter before she could say anything more.
The bottom floor of the daycare consisted of one large room separated by the front desk, and a kitchen area but an open doorway. There was a decently sized bathroom off to the side of the main room, the door to which was kept open when not in use.
Koharu and Elaria were sitting at the low table in the main room. His half brother Koharu was more concerned with appearances than the rest, so even this early he was wearing a dash of eye shadow and had a bit of color on his lips. He was the youngest of Kokichi’s brothers by around two years and Kimochi spoiled him way too much, but his twin was very indulgent with those he liked. Koharu was far too uppity in Kokichi's opinion and insufferably smug when he wanted to be, but Kokichi had gotten used to him and wouldn't want to go back to life without him. He'd never say that though. The biggest upside of Koharu was that he was good with pokemon and animals alike, and he was as big of help at the daycare as Elaria was. Vulpix was dozing on Koharu's lap as he picked at a platter of fruit on the table between them.
Elaria was dressed as delicately as she looked, with a thin white veil hanging from her pinned teal hair, and a dress that made her look a bit like a fairly. She had a Cyndaquil in her lap and was using a special brush to brush his fur. There was a cup of tea in front of her and her Ralts sitting beside her was attempting to lift the tea pot to pour her a cup. Elaria looked amused as she gave her young pokemon encouragement, but Kokichi was sure that was going to end with spilled tea. Ralts was just a baby and it liked to imitate its trainer whenever possible, which didn't always go well.
"Hey," Kokichi said as he walked past them.
"Good morning," Elaria greeted softly.
Koharu just nodded at him. "Kokichi."
He continued past them to the kitchen where the rest of his awakened members were. Cormac was sitting at the kitchen table nibbling on a piece of bacon. There were flowers in his hair which Kokichi was sure were courtesy of Orchid and a coral bracelet to match her own around his wrist. Orchid was sitting across from him with a stack of pancakes covered in syrup and topped with berries. Hovering over the counter was the psychic trainer Hunter, who liked to use his telekinesis to be obnoxious whenever possible, emphasized when he stole a bite of Orchid's food by floating it off her fork and into his mouth.
"Hey!" she objected.
"God, this is like pure sugar," Hunter complained. He kept his dark hair pulled back from his face in a ponytail and his green eyes had a hard look to them even when he smiled. "How can you stand that this early in the morning?"
"If you want something less sweet, get your own," she told him. "Or steal from Cormac."
Cormac just raised an eyebrow as he pushed another piece of bacon into his mouth.
Kokichi guessed that the twins and Kouchi were still sleeping.
Over to one side of the room was a row of food bowls where the eeveelutions were eating. Orchid's Espeon, Cormac's Umbreon, Hunter's Jolteon, Aoko's Vaporeon, and Arin's Flareon. Kouchi's Absol was also near the food bowl, curled up like it was sleeping, and Kirumi's Houndour was there, too. There were a few pokemon missing, but he wasn't worried about it. They didn't always let their pokemon out all at once.
Kokichi took a seat at the table, helping himself to half the eggs and all the remaining bacon. "Is there coffee?" he asked.
Orchid made a face of disgust as Cormac answered. "Yeah, there should be."
"Can you pour me a cup, Hunter?"
"Sorry, my hands are full," Hunter answered, reaching down to pick up his plate and bite into a piece of toast.
Kokichi gave him a flat look, which the psychic ignored. "You are all  the most disrespectful minions ever," he grumbled as he pushed his chair out.
"I know," Hunter replied with a grin.
Kokichi blew a raspberry at him as he walked to the counter and poured himself a cup of coffee, pleased to find that it was still warm. He took a long sip, draining a quarter of his cup and filling it back up before returning to his seat. It was mostly quiet as they eat, just the sound of forks and knives hitting plates and the background sound of the Pokemon. That was until the twins finally stumbled.
Aoko came in first, her cheeks puffed out as if she was already angry at the day. Her black hair was short and wavy, covering half of her face and leaving only one light brown eye uncovered. She kept her hair styled so that her small red hoop earrings could be seen, an accessory that she shared with her twin brother. Said twin, Arin, had a much more timid expression. His hair was much longer than his sister's, though worn in a similar way so that it covered one eye and left his ears uncovered.
"Did you sleep badly?" Cormac asked Aoko after seeing her sour expression.
"It's too early," she groaned.
"Then why did you get up?" Orchid asked. "It wasn't my fault, your door was locked."
"Did you try to wake her up before me?" Kokichi asked.
Orchid smiled. "Of course I did. Aoko is funniest when she just wakes up."
"Shove off," she groaned.
Arin pushed the remaining food onto two plates, placing one in front of his sister. "Missy came in and woke us both up."
"Her vile, evil ways are showing," Aoko grumbled. She looked up and pulled her plate close, shoveling a forkful of eggs into her mouth.
That explained where his pokemon had wandered off to.
"Excuse you," Kokichi said. "Missy is my best Pokemon."
"What about Ghastly?" Cormac asked.
"Gassy is also my best pokemon," Kokichi answered.
"You let them get away with too much," Hunter said.
"Be lucky they don't target you," Kokichi said with a grin. "Psychics are weak to ghosts, riiight?"
Hunter grumbled and went back to eating an apple.
"So what's the plan today?" Cormac questioned, pushing himself away from the table and taking his plate to the sink. Hunter was kind enough to float the other empty plates to the sink for him, but not nice enough to actually help with the washing up.
"Gotta introduce the new pokemon," Kokichi answered. "Kimochi and Kanade probably won't be back for a while, so someone else will need to take care of them. We'll talk about it once Kouchi's down."
His half brother didn't join them until after they'd cleaned up breakfast and had convened in the main room. Kirumi was still at the front counter, leaving his group free to talk among themselves without interruption.
"So," Kokichi spoke up, looking around the room to make sure he had everyone's attention. "We got three new Shadow Pokemon yesterday. A Meowth, a Tangela, and a Magnemite."
Koharu's eyes lit up immediately. "A Meowth, you say."
Kouchi chuckled behind his mask. "I knew that would catch your attention as soon as he mentioned it."
"I've had a lot of practice with cats," Koharu said confidently. "So I'm the obvious choice for a cat pokemon."
"I doubt that anyone wants to argue with you over it," Kokichi said. Koharu was very protective of the pokemon that they looked after and they all learned that he was also incredibly stubborn. Even if someone else did want to claim the pokemon, most wouldn't want to go through the effort to fight with him over it.
Koharu looked around at them all, nodding at the lack of objection. "Good."
"Do any of you want to claim responsibility for the Tangela?" Kokichi asked.
After looking around at everyone, Arin hesitantly raised his hand."Um, I can try."
"Great! That takes care of that then," Kokichi said with a smile.
"What about the Magnemite?" Hunter questioned. He was hovering in the doorway of the kitchen, keeping as far on the outskirts of the group as possible. He wasn't a fan of being crowded together and always found some way to keep his personal space, even when he needed to use his powers to do so.
"I'm going to offer it to our lovely benefactor."
That provoked a response immediately. Koharu glared at him disapprovingly while Aoko and Orchid made objections, Cormac and Arin made noises of surprise, and the others were silent. Hunter had raised a judging eyebrow, while Elaria and Kouchi both waited patiently for him to explain.
"I told you all before about my associate, right?" Kokichi asked, receiving nods all around the room. "Well it just so happens that they've been wanting another Pokemon and now is as good a time as any to test her reliability."
"You're going to let someone untested have a Shadow pokemon?" Koharu questioned. "How does that make you any better than Team DR."
"Koharu!" Kouchi exclaimed disapprovingly. The other didn't back down though and continued glaring at Kokichi.
Kokichi glared back. "She's not untested," he shot back. "She both has a pokemon and goes to the academy, where's actively learning to be a better trainer."
"Having a pokemon isn't the same as having a Shadow Pokemon. That could be dangerous for both of them," Koharu argued. "Not to mention that Shadow Poklemon require more care--"
"Don't act like you're the only person that's ever loved a pokemon before," Kokichi snapped.
"This isn't about love, it's about competence."
"And you don't know her competence."
"Which is exactly the point!" Koharu said sternly. "You don't know what kind of trainer she is. She couldn't possibly be prepared--"
"You don't know what I know," Kokichi said. "And it isn't your decision one way or the other. It's mine."
Koharu glared and geared up to speak again when Elaria placed a hand on his arm. "Koharu, I'm sure Kokichi doesn't plan to just drop a Shadow Pokemon on someone without help or experience. Perhaps listen to his plan first."
Koharu huffed, but Elaria was a voice of reason that would actually listen to, so he remained silent. It didn't stop his glare but Kokichi didn't give a damn about being glared at.
Elaria smiled at him and nodded. "As you were saying."
"Thank you, Elaria," Kokichi said. "I'm glad that some people actually have half a brain around here."
Koharu immediately opened his mouth again, but Orchid leaned forward to cover his mouth with her hand. His glare switched from Kokichi to her, but she was equally as unconcerned about it.
"Now then. Since she was the one to make my snag machine, I was going to see if I could get her to make a few more and if I commission her, that'll give me an excuse to have her around. We can easily teach her how to handle Shadow Pokemon as well as keep an eye on her. Plus, I can see her at the academy."
Koharu still didn't seem pleased by this, but he held his tongue on any other complaints, even after Orchid moved her hand.
"I don't think it's a bad plan," Orchid said with a shrug.
Kokichi noded. "Does anyone not named Koharu have any objections to make?" He looked around, but no one spoke. "That's that then. We'll go outside to say hello to Tangela and Meowth. Anyone that doesn't want Shadow Pokemon duty is free to go."
"Alright!" Orchid said as she practically jumped to her feet. "Thanks boss man." She grabbed Koharu's hand, pulling him up and out the back where the pastures were.
"Unhand me," Koharu groaned, but the complaint was drowned out by Orchid's laughter.
Hunter stormed off next, making a beeline for the stairs and going back to his room. The rest dispersed more slowly. Aoko and Arin heading outside, Cormac to the front desk, and Elaria after smiling at him, also went toward the back door. Kouchi was the last to move, speaking softly as he asked, "Are you sure this is a good idea?"
"You doubt me, too?" Kokichi aske with a sigh.
Kouchi was silent for a moment, thinking of how to choose his words before he spoke. "Your benefactor, as you called her, you mean Iruma, don't you?"
Kokichi crossed his arms. "And if I do?"
"She's not the kind of person that I would think of if I needed a caregiver. That's all."
Kokichi sighed. "Miu is... she doesn't have many friends. You can probably guess why. She's not great with people even when she tries to be. People like that are always a little better with Pokemon. Pokemon aren't judgemental in the same way as humans and it's a steel type, which will make her feel a bit more kindred to it. She's good at inventing things, which means she's both used to a few shocks and can make something to keep herself safe if she has to." He met his half brother's eyes, or tried to. Kouchi dropped his gaze a bit, making himself look more submissive than he really was. "I didn't make this decision for no reason."
"I didn't think you had," Kouchi said. "I just wanted to be sure."
Kokichi walked past him, going toward the back door. "You coming?"
"No, I don't think so," he said. "Kimochi sent a letter earlier and I didn't get to read it. I'm hoping to find out when he'll return from his mission."
Kokichi knew when he was supposed to return, but he also knew that anything could happen while they were on the road. Part of him misses the days when it was just him and Kimochi, traveling from town to town, city to city, trying to stay out of trouble they didn't cause and running straight into the trouble that they did. The daycare was a good idea, but it sucked to have his second in command away so often. Kimochi would have been able to handle Koharu without getting into a ten minute fight. Kimochi got along with their new brothers much better than Kokichi did.
"Tell him to hurry back when you write your reply," Kokichi said. "That's an order."
Kouchi chuckled. "I'll be sure to pass it along."
Kokichi watched as Kouchi walked to the stairs and ascended before finally walking out the back door to try and get acquainted with a new Shadow Pokemon.

"Everest!! What is WRONG with you?! You know mom tells us to stay inside. why are you out here?!"
The snowy white feline only scoffed with a roll of his eyes, just continuing his trot deeper into the woods, "I don't know what your problem is. It's just a walk, you didn't have to come."
"But I don't want to be alone!!"
She whined, a hoarseness to her tone as slight tears welled in her yellow-green eyes. Standing still as the tall Espeon turned his attention to her. His words failing as his features faltered, pale blue eyes darting off to the side as his chest briefly panged with guilt, "Ebs don't-…I-I didn't mean…"
He started only to sigh, quickly trotting closer to her as his form shifted, melded. Small arms pulling her close as she hiccuped and cried, "Y-you always do this! Ru-run off and…a-and leave me behind! M-mom says it's dangerous an-and you always ignore her…"
"She doesn't tell us anything…She won't even tell us what we are, just that we need to pretend to be something else….and I'm sick of it. I like the way I look as an Espeon sure but I want to know what I am! What we are! And she's never going to tell us…"
"Y-you don't know that.."
She stammered with a small sniff, her long fluffy tail swishing in the snow as her paws wrapped tightly around him, "D-does it even re-really matter what w-we are..? We're safe…a-aren't we? A-and mom adores us….sh-she just wants us safe…"
He took a moment before letting out a long sigh as his ears pulled back, a small frown on his features as he stayed quiet for a long few moments.
"I know.."
He said, finally, after an extended stretch of silence, "It doesn't make it any less annoying…But…I know…Quit your crying….let's take a little fly…okay? You're too dark for the snow anyway."
She gave a small sniff before mumbling a tiny little, "Okay" as he moved to let go, stepping back slightly as he took her little paw in hers before moving to fly off into the trees, pulling her right along with him. Everything would be fine…as long as they were together.

So! This was my first attempt at properly starting a story! If people have questions, feel free to ask! It'll more then likely take a bit for me to properly get into the groove of writing these characters or writing long stretches of proper story in general ^^' Everest and Ebony will be the main characters, brother and sister Mews who hide as Eeveelutions. I'm undecided on whether Ebony hides as an Espeon to mimic her brother, or as a umbreon to opposite him. Feel free to offer your own insight!
