summary: it’s the morning after you’ve cheated on your boyfriend Nate Jacobs with your best friend Elliot.

You release a calm sigh, a smile spreading across your face as you roll over in your bed. Your hand reaches out for your boyfriend Nate and you take a moment to blink the sleep from your eyes and then you focus on him, you feel his heart beating against your ear and then you realize. It’s not Nate. It’s your best friend Elliot.

How could you have forgotten?

After an intense fight with Nate you’d pack a few belongings and rushed to your friend Elliot’s house, You’d talk to Rue and Jules who were hanging out with him at the time of your fight with Nate and when they left Elliot cleaned the scratches on your arm left by Nate in his jealous fury but then one thing lead to another and you found yourself in his bed, on top of him, he was kissing your collarbones, intertwining his fingers in your hair, kissing the bruises and fucking you late into the night.

Tears pricked your eyes, not because you felt guilty but because of Nate. What were you going to do if he found out? You knew he would kill Elliot, not metaphorically but literally.

Elliot’s eyes started to slowly open and then he looked down at you and smiled. “good morning” he said, his voice was soft and gravely from sleep.

“good morning” you said, your voice was faint and it was obvious you were on the verge of crying.

“what’s wrong baby?” He shuffled around and placed his hand on your cheek.

"We shouldn't have done this" you said, your voice soft with sleep.

His brows furrowed "we both know that you aren't happy with him"

that was when the tears started to fall and you got up from the bed and starting grabbing your clothes that were discarded on the bedroom floor.

You dropped your pants on the ground and started sobbing into your hands thinking about last night.

"I hate him so much" you said throwing your head back to look at Elliot who was laying down on the ground with a smile on his lips and his arms folded behind his head.

"You could do so much better" he said looking over at you with soft eyes.

He moved over so he would be closer to you and placed his hands on your cheeks, leaning down.

His gaze was focused on your lips while you stared at him until he looked back up at you, his eyes asking for permission, and you gave it to him.

You let him kiss you, you let him take you upstairs, you let him fuck you.

"Hey, hey Y/n" he rushed over to you from the bed and placed his hands on your shoulders.

"Please just look at me"

You lifted your heavy eyes to look up at him and you saw his worried eyes.

"What time is it?" you sniffled.

"Uh like 5:30 why?" he asked

"I-I need to go home and change my clothes for school...Nate shows up at 7:00" you said picking your pants back up and putting them on.

He stood there shocked "Y/n please just stop" he pleaded as you looked for your other sock.

"Elliot I can't do this, you don't know Nate, you don't know what he'll do just let me leave"

You had all of your stuff now and you were walking out the door when he stepped in front of it to stop you.

"Y/n...I love you and I'll do whatever it takes to get you to stay"

You looked away from him, you couldn't handle looking at his heartbroken face.

"Don't tell me you didn't feel something last night, i know you felt that to. I won't stop you if you want to leave but Y/n if there's any chance that we'll work, that you want to make it work...then stay"

Your heart was in your throat as you looked back to him, there was some hope in his eyes but also fear that you wouldn't stay.

"I'm sorry" you whispered.

And then you walked past him.

"He's angry at me-"

"He's not angry at you, ma." Fez sighs, his hands reaching out to rest on my shoulders as he leans down to meet my gaze. His lips part to speak but another voice cuts him off.

"I'm angry at her!" A whine leaves my lips as I flop back into the couch dramatically, my hands reaching up to cover my face as frustrated tears rise to my lashes.

I knew that when we told Ash that we were pregnant that his response wouldn't be the best. He was extremely protective over me and has been since the moment Fez and I got together. It was safe to say he'd do anything for me to keep me safe and healthy and I've known for a while that he looks up to me as an older sister if not a mother figure in his life. He clung to me like a child clung to a parent, not so much physically but emotionally he relied on me for a lot, for things that he couldn't turn to anyone else for.

"He's being a dumbass- Ash! Get out here and apologize to her or else she's gonna keep fuckin' cryin, man." Fez huffs, his hands rubbing over the top of his head as he kneels down between my legs, hand reaching out to take mine in his.

Hearing loud stomps come from down the hall, I watch as Ashtray enters the room, a pout on his lips and his arms folded over his chest as he throws himself down onto the chair across from me.

"Apologize to Y/n." Fez asks, sitting down beside me as he wraps an arm around my shoulder, watching as Ash rolls his eyes, muttering out a quiet apology as sad tears stream down my cheeks.

"Ash you know that no matter what happens I'm always gonna love and protect you." I sniffle, brushing the tears from my cheeks as Fez's hand secures on my thigh. Ash's eyes dip lower, avoiding me as he lets out a grunt of acknowledgement. "Just think about it. You're gonna be an uncle to a little ass-kicker. Another little one to protect." A soft smile spreads across my lips at the thought of him interacting with mine and Fez's child, knowing that he would be an amazing uncle even though he's a bit rough around the edges.

Ash's face lightens a bit at my reassuring words, a small nod thrown my way as I relax, watching as his eyes flicker up to find mine. "Fine." He shrugs, pushing all jealousy and insecurity to the back of his mind as his shoulders relax.

"Get over here and give me a hug, asshole."
