Whoever still believes that the European Union cares about human rights, about the right to seek asylum, about the right to be your own person, the right to be untouched, even for children, is completely delusional. The European Union does not give a shit about human rights.

Germany will make profit exporting weapons and 2ar machines into war zones, ignore the Geneva Convention, commit a literal crimes by making money off of killing people. Germany is supporting wars. And Germany refuses to give asylum to those who flee those wars. Germany is a fucking shitshow, a criminal organisation with literal Nazis in the government.

Fires have destroyed 99% of the refugee camp in Moria (Lesbos, Greece). People who have fled their homes and crossed the mediterranean sea are now homeless once again and the whole fucking world is watching. Only watching. But hey, Germany is the good one because we are "ready to take 100-150 children" from Moria, Europe's biggest refugee camp, which had capacities for 2800 people but was filled with over 12.500 refugees, 4000 of them are kids.

Germany. 100 to 150 literal children.

What the actual fuck. The European Union, the European Project, the idea of human rights (as opposed to white rights), has failed. You have failed, Europe. You fucking shitshow. I am beyond angry. These are literal people who are dying. No, who are being killed. By you. By all of us. By my helpless hands.

Human rights do not mean shit to you.

Call the Prime Minister‘s office -  at Parliament House on (02) 6277 7700 and/ or;  

Send written correspondence to the Prime Minister - follow the instructions on this page to contact Malcolm Turnbull.

If you’re not sure how to best communicate your concerns about what is happening on Manus, ActionStation, Crikey and the Refugee Council of Australia have some tips.

Support refugee services - Volunteer for or donate to refugee services. A list of some of the refugee services can be found here. 

Support a petition -  An Australian based petition can be found here and a New Zealand based petition can be found here.

Attend a demonstration - Many events can be found on Facebook, such as this one in Sydney. Keep up to date with these organisations which may have information about demonstration. 

On that note... Keep up to date. Many of the organisations are sharing information about what is happening on Manus and it is being widely reported by various news outlets. 

Engage on social media - Supporters of the cause are using the hashtags #BringThemHere and #EvacuateNow (and others!) to spread information and connect with people on Manus and their supporters.
