The second reason was that he still had the hope that this might be a nightmare. Saw some of the grossest parenting today in the bus

#this dad was on his phone the whole bus ride ok #and his two kids were screaming arguing #at most he would periodically tell them to lower their voice while still on his phone #one time he told them to stop the one sitting next to him hit him 😭 and he went back to look at his phone with no reaction #my guy something is seriously wrong with you #your kids are screaming at each other doesn't even matter all that much that we are in the bus rn #theyre not just being loud kids you need to do smt!!!!!! its too early for this!!! i could hear them even with my noise cancelling headphone #anyways #ive never seen smt like this #and i work in a mall i see lots of parents and kids #idk smt really disgusting about a parent just not even interested in engaging with their kids #dude no wonder they're loud they probably want ur attention #also this one lady once who came in wjth a big stroller #and the store where i work has little moving rooms between the aisle so this woman decided TO LEAVE THE STROLLER WITH A KID INSIDE AT THE #FRONT OF THE STORE #the kids started crying and his hrother (toddler not in the stroller but not following the mom for some reason) started exploring and i #i had to watch them until the mom came back but like the woman just left them there???#i just stepped in but what if i hadnt??? lady?????????#i see lots of cute interactions of course #like this little girl who came with who i think is her grandpa and he asked me to help her chose her next manga read 😭💖#i basically work in a book/toy store #theres a lot of candy as well the kids love it #idk i like seeing kids being happy ok it is healing #like all the kids sitting on the floors deep in their books while the parents shop 😭😭😭 makes me smile every time top tier behavior

sukuna begging yuuji to take him back because he wants to feel his emotions again instead of his own emptiness and nothing but the closeness they once had is enough for him. and when yuuji does, because he feels incomplete as well without sukuna, he spawns into the domain again and walks around the familiar place, hesitantly calling out sukuna’s name to confirm he’s really there. “sukuna…?”

“…kozō” he hears in return, fondness in the tone, and when he looks up at where he remembers the throne to be he sees a face so similar to his staring down at him with a smile, a hand immediately reaching out to slick the pink hair back. after everything they went through there’s no reason to keep dancing around it – they belong to each other.

So the live action Jigen film was REALLY FUN?!

They understood that it needed to be really stylized and popping, but didn’t stumble into garish, fake-cartoon style. The ancillary cast is strong and fun, the villain is rad as hell, Jigen is failing to be stoic all over the place, the script feels better than your average Lupin special, and the firefights are creative and a wild delight!

I’m biased as hell but if this year has taught me anything, being a huge fan of something does not mean I will enjoy it any more than otherwise.

#fjslshdlsjdksls #I loved the way they translated his hat brim behavior #In animation you can get it exactly where you want with a rough shove #but irl it’s not that easy #so they swapped it for him gripping or toying with the hat when uncomfortable #just great #they didn’t go overly schmaltzy with the kid stuff too #He was doing his best to care for that kid and neither of them were quite stepping far enough to bridge the gap #but THAT bridged the emotional gap #the effort was enough #the clockmaker was awesome #I loved her and would love to see her again in a future film #put her in the anime #put her and the kid in an episode so long as you under no circumstances kill either one #fjslHfnslamabdhd #the way the Kato-Senpai cameo was used was great #could have been a cheap joke but their structure was solid #fhslshxmsjabslskdbx #Jigen struggling not to cry reading the kid’s diary #every time anyone saw him doing something sweet telling them not to look #ahhh the people of the arcade!#so cute!#the outfits in the slums kicked ass #and don’t get me STARTED ON THE FLORIST

I watched THC ep3 this morning and planned to make a playful post about Pond personally sending home my fave IN THE FIRST ROUND and thus my no longer being a Pond defender, but there's actual major legal shit happening today so it feels in bad taste

so I'll just say that I actually think it's really cool that THC acknowledges and explores the production involvement in elimination, a thing every competitive reality show I've seen in my life keeps strictly hidden from view. Even if Pond was WRONG and Sammon was RIGHT!!!
