This was everything I hoped for. I loved everything about Beck Sinclair and was rooting for him from the beginning. That man did everything just to get a face-to-face with his little brother’s ex and I’m not even mad about those little white lies.

And Margo! I loved that she didn’t immediately trust Beck straight away and got on his nerves early on. I mean she caved pretty fast to his advances and she tried to keep her wits about her, but a girl can only handle so much when it comes to a man like Beckham Sinclair lol.

The only thing I was let down by was that I think his little brother Carter deserved more punishment than what Beck delivered. A single punch wasn’t enough. He deserved a hospital stay for being a creep.

I feel like Bruce would use his charm against Otto whenever he tries to mess with his brothers. Bruce sees Otto about to say something nasty to Floyd, calmly gets between them while giving Otto a Look™ and telling him to play nice, immediately flustering him so badly Otto has to run away to avoid embarrassment.

Not sure if Floyd and JD would find it funny or be horrified at the idea of Otto actually being into Bruce (even if it will never develop into a relationship).

The Talk consists of Bruce telling Otto to leave his brothers alone

I gave myself a writing challenge and I am fascinated by it

So basically I put the robins in a randomizer to give them a new order/role (because I just...kinda wanted to see what would happen + I like role-reversal AUs) and got results that are giving me a fucking brain blast.

Stephanie, the first sidekick who defines the role

Tim, the sidekick who dies and comes back wrong

Dick, the sidekick who saves Batman from himself

Damian, the sidekick who was never supposed to be a sidekick but would go on to prove everyone wrong

Jason, the youngest sidekick who is still the Kid Wonder

...So this is fucking wild. I've got some ideas and several of these fit perfectly (Dick's role is pretty similar to his one in canon), but some of these are fucking INCREDIBLE to explore (Steph being the first Robin is something I never even considered but tbh I kinda love it).

I probably won't write a fic or anything because tbh I don't like publishing my writing that much, but I might expand this into a full AU and post about it. I might randomize other stuff too (ie, stuff that I cannot change vs stuff that I cannot keep the same) but this fucking rules as a starting point.

Harry hears the sound of the Floo, and then Sirius’s booming voice. “Where are my favorite Potters?”

“Grandpa!”

Harry rolls his eyes as his three children leap up and hurry into the living room. He follows, watching as the three of them dart around Sirius and throw themselves at Remus.

“Oof!” Remus says. James surpassed him in height over a year ago, and AJ caught up to him over the winter hols. Lily isn’t far off, and so Remus is completely engulfed by the three of them. “Hello, loves.”

Sirius puts his hands on his hips in mock outrage. “And where’s my hug?”

James, AJ, and Lily disentangle themselves from Remus and, ignoring Sirius entirely, go back to what they were doing. Sirius’s mouth drops open. “I don’t even get a hello?”

James sighs and looks at Harry. “Dad?”

Harry rolls his eyes again and says, “The kids want me to tell you that they’re not speaking to you.” 

“What? Why?” Now Sirius really is outraged. “What did I do?”

James, AJ, and Lily look at Harry. Harry shakes his head. 

“I’m not doing this all night. If you have something to say to Grandad, do it yourself.”

“Grandpa, tell Grandad he shouldn’t have assigned us so much bloody homework over the summer,” AJ says to Remus.

Remus’s eyebrows shoot up, but he turns to Sirius and says, “The kids aren’t talking to you because you assigned--”

“Yes, thank you, I heard,” Sirius says. “You and James have OWLs and NEWTs next year. You both need to be prepared.”

“What about me?” Lily pipes up. “I don’t have OWLs and NEWTs.”

“You still need to keep your skills sharp.”

“That’s not fair!”

“Grandpa never gave us summer homework,” AJ says. 

“They’ve got a point, Sirius,” Remus says. “Their previous Defense teacher never gave them summer homework.” 

“Well, maybe their previous Defense teacher shouldn’t have had a run-in with a bunch of Inferi that resulted in him having to take a year-long leave of absence!”

“That’s true,” Remus concedes. “I probably shouldn’t have done that.”

“You’re still coming back next year, Grandpa, right?” AJ asks hopefully. “We don’t have to have Grandad again?”

“Hey!”

“Actually, kids, that’s what we wanted to tell you at dinner tonight.” Remus slips an arm around Sirius’s waist and leans into him. “I am coming back next year, but so is Grandad. We’re going to be co-teaching Defense.” 

“Really?” Harry says. “That’s great!” 

“Okay, but we don’t have to do our homework, right?” James says.

“Sorry, James Sirius, but you still have to do the homework Grandad assigned you. All of you do.”

James pulls a face. “You’re the worst grandparents ever.”

I love that in battle of the super sons they reference Superboy but literally none of Bruce's other kids. I like to think that Jon believes his uncle/cousin (family trees are weird) Conner is just a cool punk rock college student or whatever and he's totally blown away by the reveal. "You didn't think that, as my brother, Kon must also be Kryptonian?" Clark asks, exasperated. "You're adopted!" Jon says, defensively.

Eren who’s slightly younger than Mikasa and wanted her all his life finally gets to fuck her?

omg imagine if he’s not only slightly younger (let’s say, three years younger?), but they’re also next-door neighbors and the reason they get so close is because mikasa is the same age as zeke and she gets to know eren because she’s zeke’s friend first.

like eren tries to tag along with them when they’re all kids (eren is 9, zeke and mikasa are 12). and zeke hates it bc he doesn’t want his kid brother ruining his time with his friends. but mikasa is sweet to him. “aw zeke,” she says. “let him tag along! eren won’t cause any trouble, will he?” and she winks at him and lets him have a bite of her ice cream bar that they bought from the truck driving through their neighborhood.

eren is obviously so smitten, but he doesn’t understand what his feelings are until he’s 12-13 years old and he stumbles upon zeke and mikasa kissing because their friendship has unsurprisingly blossomed into something more. it drives eren insane with jealousy, and it’s only then that he realizes that he’s in love with mikasa, has been for as long as he can remember, and loathes the fact that his stupid fucking half-brother got her first.

eren nurses this unrequited crush for years, during zeke and mikasa’s two-year relationship and even after they break up when they graduate high school and go their separate ways. but mikasa tells him that she’s gonna miss him when she goes off to college and that she’ll say hi whenever she comes home for break.

and eren is over the moon when she adds him on snap. and he doesn’t ever interact with her much but he can barely contain himself whenever he gets a peek into mikasa’s life as an undergrad: what her dorm room looks like, where she studies, who she hangs out with, what she looks like when she’s drunk and partying…

a part of him feels like he should stop following her bc he feels guilty of having access to her life like this… but he doesn’t want to because he swears that he just falls deeper and deeper in love with her. he fantasizes about her constantly and he can’t wait until he turns 18 and graduates high school so that maybe (just maybe!) she’d give him a chance. 😫😫
